Hi everyone! I shipped Delena from the very beginning, and now that the show is over I miss them dreadfully, so I decided to try my hand at rewriting the series how I would've liked to of seen it! Elena's parents gifted her with a charm bracelet a week before their death that had vervain in it and so Damon's compulsion failed. Elena is captivated by this mystery guy and therefore does not fall for Stefan.

Remembering the strange, but alluring, man from the night Elena doesn't fall for Stefan, instead she searches for Damon who'd managed to capture her attention.
