"Hello! Anyone here?" Jekyll was wondering through the forest while calling out to see if he could find any Ruby and Penny's other friends.
'WHAT WAS I THINKING AGREEING TO THIS?!' He thought to himself.
'THE FIRST RULE OF THIS STUFF IS TO NEVER SPLIT UP! IT ALWAYS GOES WRONG!'
"I am." A voice said as someone came out of the bushes. It was a young man with short, straight black hair, light skin, and green eyes with slits like a snake. He wore a long sleeve, black, button up shirt, white pants, and black shoes.
"You may call me Kai, and I challenge you to a duel." Kai said.
'Ok so he's obviously a bad guy. Maybe I should switch things up.' Jekyll though as he put a deck in his duel disk.
"Let's duel!" They said in sync.
Duel Begin
Turn 1
Jekyll LP: 4000 VS Kai LP: 4000
Jekyll hand: 5 VS Kai hand: 5
"I'll start." Jekyll stated.
"First I activate the spell Future Fusion." Jekyll said as a holographic card appeared on the field.
Future Fusion
(Continuous Spell)
"Now I activate Polymerization to fuse the 2 Meteor Dragons in my to fusion summon First of The Dragons!" Jekyll said as two dragons with purple limbs and jaws and meteor-like bodies appeared and enter a swirling blue vortex behind him to form a new monster.
This new monster was a massive dragon with a serpent-like body, covered in grey-ish purple scales, had dozens of horns and two massive wings.
First of The Dragons
(LV: 9 / DARK / [Dragon/Fusion/Effect] / 2700 ATK / 2000 DEF)
"What?!" Kai cried.
'I thought he only used machine monsters, this means the System Down and Acid Rain spells I put in my deck are useless!' He thought as he looked at the System Down in his hand. 'Not only that he brought out such a powerful monster.'
"What?" Jekyll asked. "I love machines but did you think that was all I had?"
Kai merely scowled. "It doesn't matter, I will still be able to defeat you."
"I set a card face-down and end my turn." Jekyll said as he placed a card face-down.
Turn 2
Jekyll LP: 4000 VS Kai LP: 4000
Jekyll hand: 0 VS Kai hand: 5+1
"I draw." Kai said.
"I activate my Terraforming spell card to add Venom Swamp to my hand." Kai said as he grabbed a card from his deck.
"Now I'll activate it." Kai said as the area turned into a giant swamp.
Venom Swamp

"Ugh, it actually stinks like one too." Jekyll said in disgust as he pinched his nose.
"Now I'll activate Field Barrier to make sure it's safe." Kai said as a rainbow effect engulfed the field for a moment before disappearing.
"Now I'll set one monster and 2 cards face-down." Jekyll said as 3 face-down card appear in front of him, one being horizontal. "Your move."
Suddenly a snake emerged from the swamp and bit one to First of The Dragons and wrapped it self around it.
"Let's not forget my Venom Swamps effect. Every end phase, all face-up monsters get a Venom counter, reducing it's attack by 500, except for "Venom" monsters." Kai stated.
First of The Dragons: 2700 ATK - 500 ATK = 2200 ATK
Turn 3
Jekyll LP: 4000 VS Kai LP:
Jekyll hand: 0+1 VS Kai hand: 1
"I draw." Jekyll said.
"Thanks to my Future Fusion I can choose any fusion monster from my extra deck and send it's materials to the grave. So I'll send 5 dragon type monsters." Jekyll said.
"But that can only mean..." Kai said as there was only 1 monster with such a requirement.
"That's right, I intend to summon my Five-Headed Dragon!" Jekyll said.
"But for now I'll activate my face-down trap, Jar of Greed." He said as he drew a card.
"I'll attack your monster with my First of The Dragons." Jekyll said as his monster charged up a shot and fired a fireball at the monster.
"I activate Negate Attack." Kai said as fireball was blocked.
"I'll end my turn." Jekyll said as another Venom Counter was place on his monster. (First of the Dragons Venom Counters: 1 + 1 = 2)
First of The Dragons: 2200 ATK - 500 ATK = 1800 ATK
Turn 4
Jekyll LP: 4000 VS Kai LP: 4000
Jekyll hand: 2 VS Kai hand: 1+1
"I draw." Kai said.
"I'll summon Venom Snake." He said as a large brown and orange snake with a yellow underbelly with blades on it's back and on it's tail, making it look more like a rattle snake, appeared.

(LV: 3 / EARTH / [Reptile/Effect] / 1200 ATK / 600 DEF)
"And I think I'll end my turn at that." He said.
First of The Dragons: 1800 ATK - 500 ATK = 1300 ATK
Turn 5

Jekyll hand: 2+1 VS Kai hand: 1
"I draw." Jekyll said.
"Now my Future Fusion's effect activates and brings out my mighty Five-Headed Dragon!" Jekyll said as a giant monster appeared.
It was a bipedal dragon with arms, legs and wings, It's body was covered in yellow scales. however it's most notable feature were it's five heads, each one with a different look. One was made of fire, another was was yellow and glowing and had several spikes at top of it's head, another resembled a sea serpent, another was covered in black scales and had red glowing eyes, and the last looked metallic.

"Now my Five-Headed Dragon will attack your Venom Snake!" Jekyll declared.
"I activate my trap, Ambush Fangs! This negates your attack, end the battle phase, and gives the attacking monster a Venom Counter." Kai said.
Five-Headed Dragon: 5000 ATK - 500 ATK = 4500 ATK
Jekyll frowned. "I end my turn."
Five-Headed Dragon: 4500 ATK - 500 ATK = 4000 ATK
First of The Dragons: 1300 ATK - 500 ATK = 800 ATK
Turn 6
Jekyll LP: 4000 VS Kai LP: 4000
Jekyll hand: 3 VS Kai hand: 1+1
"I draw." Kai said.
"I activate Graceful Charity! So I'll draw 3 and then discard 2." Kai said.
"Now I'll flip up my face-down monster, Venom Serpent." He said as a large two-headed green snake appeared.
Venom Serpent
(LV: 4 / DARK / [Reptile/Effect] / 1000 ATK / 800 DEF)
"I activate the abilities of my Venom Snake and my Venom Serpent and place 1 Venom Counter each onto a monster you control. So I Pick your Five-Headed Dragon." He said as 2 more Venom Counters attach themselves to his dragon.
Five-Headed Dragon: 4000 ATK - 500 ATK - 500 ATK = 3000 ATK
"Now I tribute my Venom Snake and Venom Serpent to summon Vennominon the King of Poisonous Snakes!" Kai said as a man wearing a red and purple cloak with the body of a serpent and has snakes for arms appeared.

"He gains 500 ATK for every Reptile monster in my graveyard. So counting the 2 I just sacrificed and the one I discarded with Graceful Charity thats 3 in total." Kai said.
Vennominon the King of Poisonous Snakes: 500 ATK (3x) = 1500 ATK
"Now I activate Venom shot and send 1 Reptile form my deck to the grave and place 2 more Venom Counters on a monster." He said as 2 more Counters atached themselves to Five-Headed Dragon.
Vennominon the King of Poisonous Snakes: 1500 ATK + 500 ATK = 2000 ATK
Five-Headed Dragon: 3000 ATK - 500 ATK - 500 ATK = 2000 ATK
"Now I think I'll attack your First of The Dragons with my Vennominon!" Kai said
Vennominon shot a blast of poison at the dragon.
Jekyll LP: 4000 - 1200 = 2800 LP
"My First of The Dragons can't be destroyed by battle unless it battles a Normal Monster." Jekyll reminded as his dragon remained on the field.
"Well, it won't matter since it's too weak to do anything. I end my turn." Kai said.
Five-Headed Dragon: 2000 ATK - 500 ATK = 1500 ATK
First of The Dragons: 800 ATK - 500 ATK = 300 ATK
Turn 7
Jekyll LP: 2800 VS Kai LP: 4000
Jekyll hand: 3+1 VS Kai hand: 0
"Even with your mighty dragons you still can't beat me." Kai mocked as Jekyll drew.
"I tribute my Five-Headed Dragon to summon my Strong Wind Dragon!" Jekyll said as a Five-Headed Dragon disappeared and a large, green bipedal dragon with wings appeared.
Strong Wind Dragon
(LV: 6 / WIND / [Dragon/Effect] / 2400 ATK / 1000 DEF)
"When I tribute summon him using a Dragon-type monster, Strong Wind Dragon gains ATK equal to half the original ATK of the tributed monster. Since Five-Headed Dragon had 5000 original ATK before you messed with it, that means..." Jekyll trailed off as he let Kai figure it himself.
"It gains 2500 ATK!" Kai said alarmed.
Strong Wind Dragon: 2400 ATK + 2500 ATK = 4900 ATK
"Now I'll have Strong Wind Dragon attack your Vennominon!" Jekyll said as strong wind dragon blew a gust of wind at vennominon and destroyed it.
Kai LP: 4000 - 2900 = 1100 LP
"I activate Vennominon's ability and banish a reptile form my grave to bring him back!"
Vennominon then came back onto the field in defense mode. (1500 ATK / 1500 DEF)
"It won't matter cause I activate the two Dragon's Gunfire card in my hand and deal 800 damage each!" Jekyll said as Kai gasped and 2 fireballs hit him.
Kai LP: 1100 - 800 - 800 = 0 LP
Duel over
Winner: Jekyll Giada
"Okay, what is it with you guys and going after me? And what do you want?" Jekyll asked as he looked at Kai.
"You beat me so I will tell you this, my master wants something on this Island but those Hunters are sure to get in the way, he has snet me as well as others to get rid of them." Kai said before another person that looked exactly like him except his hair and clothes' colors were swapped and he had yellow eyes instead of green.
"Ju?" Kai asked.
"I see you lost as well, we need to go brother." The now named Ju said as both he and Kai disappeared.
"Hey Jekyll!" Jekyll heard someone call out for him, he turned to see Aqua, Penny and Ruby running towards him.
"Did you guys find anything?" Jekyll asked.
"No, but one of those guys who disappeared challenged me. I won by the way." She said.
"But I didn't get a chance to fight!" Ruby whined.
"Hey! Not my fault my deck isn't made for Synchro summons." Aqua said.
"So do we keep searching?" Jekyll asked.
"Yeah, lets try the storage by the cafeteria." Aqua suggested.
"Fine, but we are NOT splitting up again." Jekyll said.
They then left to search the rest of the school while they can.
Unknown Lab
Brenna was seen bowing in front of Draven as he looked through a holographic screen.
"Lord Draven, I have come to tell you-"
"That Jekyll Giada has won... again." Draven guessed.
"Yes." Brenna said.
Draven sighed. "You are dismissed. I need to go create a new plan." He said and she left.
Ok, admittedly this was a filler chapter. I mainly put it cause I felt like using something new and introducing the twins, Kai and Ju. I was inspired to make them by the Paradox brothers. Also a guy asked why there were so many Xyz monsters, and I kinda agree I might've over done it, it was mainly because of a few reasons.
1) I really like Xyz and Fusion monsters, that and I was watching Zexal at the time I started this story. So I was in the mood for Xyz monsters.
2) In story Jekyll mainly prefers Xyz and Fusions over Synchros and stuff, so that's why he tends to have decks built towards that.
3) The decks I thought would fit the characters didn't really work as well for other summoning methods as Xyz summoning, so there's that coincidence.
Also, I'm gonna try and see if I can put in at least 1-2 more characters on the island before they leave, the majority of the missing cast will be off island.
