Jekyll, Aqua, Penny and Ruby were walking towards the storage area, well, hovering in Penny and Ruby's case.
"You sure we'll find something here?" Jekyll asked Aqua.
"I heard a rumor form a guy I know that apparently something strange happened to a student the other day. When he went in there stuff started flying around like crazy and even tried to hit him. He also said that the temperature would drop like crazy. The guy was barely understandable when he got back to his dorm" Aqua said.
"L-like a ghost?" Ruby asked scared.
"Who knows? Maybe." Aqua said as they entered the storage area.
Suddenly they felt a cold chill.
"I-it's freezing!" Jekyll stuttered.
"Maybe it's the thermostat?" Aqua suggested.
They started to go deeper in the room and it started getting colder and colder.
"Well they need to hire better maintenance guys cause I feel like I'm getting frostbite!" Jekyll remarked.
Suddenly a crate started to float a bit before crashing into Jekyll.
"What the-" Jekyll was cut off by the crate flying into him.
"Jekyll!" The other cried out.
"Did someone get the number of that crate?" He groaned out in pain.
"17." Aqua said.
"Thank you." He groaned out.
Suddenly, countless other objects started to float up.
"Oh, crap baskets." Aqua said.
"HIT THE DECK!" She cried out as she, and the others started to find a place to take cover.
Objects were sent flying everywhere, boxes, bricks, packs of food, Jekyll had to duck under a fire axe.
"If you guys could figure out what's doing this soon, I'd appreciate it because I NEARLY GOT A HAIRCUT FROM A FIRE AXE!" He screamed as he continued to take cover behind multiple boxes next to where he crashed.
"I KNEW IT! IT'S A GHOST!" Ruby cried as she hovered away form various objects that tried to hit her as Penny was using Floating Array to block some of the incoming objects.
Aqua peeked out from her spot and for a split second she saw a white circle form under a crate before it flew forward.
"I think I saw something!" She said as she grabbed a brick and threw it.
Suddenly a chair shot forward in the direction the brick landed.
"Let me try that." Jekyll said as he grabbed a couple more bricks and threw them. The same thing happened and a crate hit the bricks.
"LEAVE ME ALONE ALREADY!" A voice cried out.
They all looked towards where they heard the voice come from, behind a large crate in the corner.
"I know that voice!" Ruby said as she rushed over to where the voice came from.
"Weiss!" Ruby cried as Jekyll, Aqua and Penny rushed over to Ruby to see another chibi.
She is a pale-skinned young woman with pale blue eyes and long white hair that is often pulled back into an off-center ponytail or braid on the right side and pinned with a silver, icicle-shaped tiara. She wears a thigh-length strapless dress with a faint color gradation from white to pale blue at the hem. She wears a bell-sleeved bolero with the same color gradation as her dress from shoulder to wrist, lined in red and with a ruffled collar. On the back of the bolero is a snowflake-like symbol.
"Ruby?!" Weiss cried.
"MY BEST FRIEND!" Ruby cheered as she tackled Weiss into a bone crushing hug that was not helped by Penny joining in.
Jekyll winced a bit at the impact, and knowing how painful Penny's hugs can be. "You know, I almost felt bad for her, but then I remembered she was probably the one who hit me with a crate and threw and axe at my head. So I'm going to enjoy this." He said to Aqua as he watched Weiss get crushed in their group hug.
"Ruby! Where were you? Do you have any idea as to what I've been through?! I've been stuck here not knowing where we are and no one has been able to see or hear me. This place is the worst! Why are you tiny?" Weiss asked in rapid succession.
"Uh, Weiss, you're tiny too." Ruby informed her.
"WHAT?!" Weiss exclaimed.
'She hasn't noticed?' Jekyll mentally questioned.
"What in the world is going on here?" Weiss demanded sounding annoyed.
"The weird glowing crack we found took us to another world where everything form Remnant, except for people and civilization, doesn't exist and there are no huntsman, huntresses, no Grimm, except for the ones that came here like us, no awesome weapons and no one here has aura or semblances!" Ruby said quickly.
Weiss just blinked at her explanation, fortunately for Weiss she's dealt with Ruby long enough to understand what she says when she's like this.
"I suppose that makes sense." Weiss said calmly.
"Huh?" Ruby, Jekyll and Aqua said.
"Well, Headmaster Ozpin and General Ironwood did say strange reports were coming that area with the anomaly we found and since we are different here and there are many things different here it makes sense that this would be another world. Not every world would have what we have Ruby." Weiss said.
"Well, I guess it makes sense when you put it like that." Ruby said as she looked down.
'I don't believe she's actually taking it this well.' Jekyll and Aqua mentally doubted.
"Also, how did you find me?" Weiss asked.
"Oh right! Weiss, I'd like to introduce you to our new friends, Jekyll and Aqua!" Ruby introduced as Jekyll just had a deadpan expression and Aqua gave a wave.
Weiss just had a neutral expression on her face as she turned to Ruby.
"Ruby, we need to talk." She said seriously.
"Ok, what about?" Ruby asked.
"I know we are in an unfamiliar place and we might have to deal with whatever possible evil that could be here. But I would prefer it if our help wasn't in the form of a couple of children." She said as Jekyll's eye twitched.
"But I'm fifteen." Ruby said.
"And Jekyll and Aqua have told us they're actually 16 and 17 respectively, so they're roughly around your age." Penny added, not seeing why they couldn't help.
"We are huntresses-in-training, they are not. We can take of ourselves." Weiss stated.
Meanwhile with Jekyll who, unbeknownst to them, could hear them.
'I already don't like her.' Jekyll thought as he looked at Weiss and narrowed his eyes, despite having about 5 seconds worth of interaction, she just screams the arrogant 'I think I'm better than you' brat stereotype. The fact that she hit him with a crate and nearly decapitated him with a fire axe didn't help.
'Cold to her friends and to new people, kinda reminds of Jekyll.' Aqua thought.
Jekyll suddenly felt like strangling Aqua, Suddenly he saw a couple cards on the ground and went to pick them up.
Back to the huntresses-in-training.
"I know you don't think they're the best idea, but give them a chance. You gave me one back when we first met but look at me now." Ruby said with pleading eyes.
Weiss was about to retort but then thought about it and remembered everything that happened to her since the beginning of Beacon. When she and Ruby first met, she viewed Ruby as an immature child and unfit to be leader, but over time she's proven herself to not only a student of Beacon but as a proper leader for team RWBY.
Weiss sighed. "Fine." She said.
"Hooray!" Ruby cheered.
Weiss then turned to the two duelists.
"After some careful consideration I have decided to let you help us. But by no means does that make us friends!" Weiss stated the last part quickly.
'I actually agree with the last part.' Jekyll mentally agreed.
"Now let's get out of here so we can-"
"Look for your friends?" A voice cut Ruby off to see a familiar face for Penny and Jekyll standing at the entrance.
"I see you found another of those brats." Felix said with a smirk.
"Stay back!" Weiss said as she readied Myrtenaster.
"Cool it, Snow Pixie. Your little tricks don't work here." Felix said as Weiss' eye twitched from the nickname. It was as bad as Ice Queen!
Jekyll meanwhile was trying to hold in his laughter from the name.
"Hey, you can't call her that!" Ruby protested.
"Thank you." Weiss said.
"Only we can call her nicknames like Ice Queen!" Ruby added as Weiss' eye twitched again.
Felix then pointed to Jekyll. "We've got unfinished business, you and me." He said as he readied his duel disk. "Let's settle it."
"Gladly." Jekyll said as he readied his duel disk.
"What's going on?" Weiss asked.
"This is how the Grimm perform combat in this world." Penny said.
"Let's Duel!" Jekyll said
Weiss blinked. "Wait, are the going to settle this WITH A CARD GAME?!" Weiss exclaimed.
"Yes, that is how people here settle things." Penny said.
"That is the dumbest thing I've ever heard." Weiss said in a deadpan tone.
"Well, maybe you should give something a try before you knock it, Ice Queen. You might actually enjoy it." Aqua shot back at Weiss.
"Doubt it." Weiss said.
Duel Begin

"I'll go first and summon Robotic Knight!" Jekyll said as a robot resembling an old soldier wielding a sword and has a gatling gun for a left arm appeared on his side of the field. He has a single green line for an eye.

Weiss blinked. "Ok, I'll admit that wasn't what I was expecting." She admitted.
"Oh so you're warming up to the game?" Aqua teased.
"Absolutely not. I was just, surprised, that's all." Weiss denied.
"That's our Ice Queen, always cold to everything." Ruby said.
"Hey!"
"Now I'll activate Machine Assembly Line." Jekyll said as the card appeared on the field.
Robotic Knight: 1600 ATK + 200 ATK = 1800 ATK
"Now I'll set 1 card face-down and pass the turn to you." Jekyll said.
Turn 2
Jekyll LP: 4000 VS Felix LP: 4000
Jekyll hand: 2 VS Felix hand: 5+1
"My turn." Felix said as he drew.
"I'll start things off with my Toy Vendor spell card." He said as a large capsule machine appeared on the field.

Aqua and Jekyll blanch at seeing this card.
"Oh, not this archetype." Aqua said as she knew what was gonna happen.
"With this I'll discard a card and draw a card from my deck. If it's a "Fluffal" monstar I can reveal it and bring it out onto the field." Felix said as he drew.
"Look at that, say hello to Fluffal Leo!" Felix said as a large plushie lion with small white wings appeared on the field.

"OH MY GOSH IT'S ADORABLE!" Ruby squealed.
"What an adorable monster!" Penny exclaimed cheerily.
"So our lives are in the hands of a kid playing a card game against a small... hairy... adowable wittle lion!" Weiss started gushing. "Who's an adowable lion trying to kill us? You are, yes you are!"
Aqua, Jekyll and Felix just stared at Weiss.
"That, by far, is the most disturbing thing I have ever seen." Felix said.
"Of all time." Jekyll agreed.
Shaking his head quickly Felix decided to get back to the duel.
"Well you won't like him for long, 'cause I activate Dark Fusion!" Felix said as another monster appeared. It appeared to be a circular buzz saw with green glowing teeth encased by several hacksaws and has 2 glowing red eyes.

(LV: 3 / DARK / [Fiend/Effect] / 500 ATK / 1000 DEF)
"I fuse my Fluffal Leo and my Edge Imp Saw to Fusion Summon!" Felix said as Leo and Saw entered a swirling blue vortex. Suddenly saw blades stared popping out of Leo and a new monster was in it's place. It was a pale lion plushie standing on 2 legs, it had red eyes and sharp red teeth, it's face and body was split apart by buzz saws and it had a buzz saw for a mane. there were also several other buzz saws attached to it's mane and it had sharp, red, serrated blades for claws. It gave off a monstrous laugh.
"Rise twisted toy of nightmares, Frightfur Leo!" Felix said.

Weiss fainted while Ruby gave a scream of terror and hid behind Aqua and threw up while Penny latched onto Ruby in a hug out of fear.
"That's not all, Frightfur Leo can tear one of your monsters to pieces and then slice up your life points with damage equal to the destroyed monster's original ATK." Felix added.
"Go Leo! Destroy that tin can of a robot!" Felix commanded as Leo threw several buzz saws at Robotic Knight which tore straight through it and hit Jekyll, causing him to grunt in pain.
Jekyll LP: 4000 - 1600 = 2400 LP
"Oh he should not have said that." Aqua said as the others looked at her.
"Why?" Ruby asked. Before Aqua could say anything Jekyll started talking.
"How dare you call them "tin cans"?! I'll make you regret that!" Jekyll said angrily.
"Jekyll cares a lot about his machines and hates it when someone insults them like that." Aqua said.
"I'll set 1 card down and end my turn." Felix said.
Turn 3
Jekyll LP: 2400 VS Felix LP: 4000
Jekyll hand: 2+1 VS Felix hand: 1
"I draw." Jekyll stated.
"Since you control a monster and I don't have any, I can special summon from my hand RWBY Soul: Ruby Rose! Come on Ruby, let's take this guy down!" Jekyll said as Ruby hopped onto the field.
RWBY Soul: Ruby Rose
(LV: 3 / WIND / [Warrior/Tuner/Effect] / 1400 ATK / 300 DEF)
"Now I'll summon Mechanicalchaser." Jekyll said as green spherical robot with a pair of green wings and several arms with weapons appeared.

(LV: 4 / DARK / [Machine] / 1850 ATK / 800 DEF)
"Now I'll tune my Level 3 RWBY Soul: Ruby Rose with my Level 4 Mechanicalchaser to Synchro Summon!" Jekyll said as Ruby suddenly turned into 3 green rings of light and Mechanicalchaser entered the rings, making it's body turn transparent with orange outlines and making 4 stars appear.
"Level 7 Red Rose Huntress: Ruby Rose!" Suddenly a pillar of light erupted through the rings and from it appeared Ruby in her normal size.

"Ah yeah! I'm back!" Ruby cheered as she began to run around the field quickly.
"Ruby look out for that wa-" Jekyll didn't finish as Ruby had hit the screen, slightly cracking it.
"I tried to warn her about the 4th wall but does anyone ever listen to me? Nooo." Jekyll grumbled.
"I'm okay!" Ruby said.
Meanwhile Weiss had her jaw dropped from the spectacle.
"What was that?!" She cried.
"That was a Synchro Summon." Aqua said as she continued to watch the fight.
"RWBY Souls: Ruby Rose's effect activates, when she's used for the Synchro Summon of a "Huntsman" or "Huntress" monster, the monster gain's 300 ATK." Jekyll informed.
Red Rose Huntress: Ruby Rose: 2500 ATK + 300 ATK = 2800 ATK
"Now Ruby slice apart that monster!" Jekyll said as Ruby dashed forward and circled Frightfur Leo, the monster being unable to keep up with her, before suddenly slice the monster in half and destroying it.
Felix LP: 4000 - 400 = 3600 LP
"And now for her effect, when she takes out a monster in battle she can take a shot right at your Life Points and deal 500 points of damage!" Jekyll added.
"Wanna know something cool about my Crescent Rose?" Ruby asked as she cocked it and aimed at Felix.
"It's also gun." She said as she fired a shot into Felix's chest.
Felix LP: 3600 - 500 = 3100 LP
"I end my turn." Jekyll said.
Turn 4
Jekyll LP: 2400 VS Felix LP: 3100
Jekyll hand: 1 VS Felix hand: 1+1
"My move." Felix said as he drew.
"I activate Pot of Greed." Felix said as he drew 2 more cards.
"Now I use my Edge Imp Cotton Eater and Fluffal Angel to set the Pendulum Scale!" Felix said as Jekyll and Aqua gasp. Suddenly what looked like a bach with razor sharp blades for teeth and a cute looking angel appeared on the field surrounded by pillars of blue light.

(LV: 2 / LIGHT / [Fairy/Pendulum/Effect] / 8:8 / 600 ATK / 1200 DEF)
"The what scale?" Ruby asked.
"The Pendulum Scale." Aqua decided to explain. "It's a special mechanic where if you take 2 special kinds of monsters known as Pendulum monsters and place them in the Pendulum Zones, each Pendulum monster has a scale rating and when they're placed on the field you can summon monsters from your hand that have levels equal to one of the numbers in between the difference of the scale rating of the 2 pendulum monsters you have set. For example, Cotton Eater has a scale of 1 and Angel has a scale of 8, that means he can special summon whatever monsters he has in his hand that are levels 2-7."
The others except for Jekyll look at her in shock and become concerned.
"But he has only 1 card in his hand, if it is a monster then is it really worth all the effort for just 1 monster?" Weiss asked.
"That's because sometimes it isn't about a monster." Jekyll decided to cut in. "Sure it may be a powerful card that's hard to bring out, but many Pendulum monsters have effects that can only be activated when they're in the Pendulum Zone, sometimes it's worth bringing them out just for that."
Felix smirked. "You're a sharp one kid, you got it right! Allow me to show you what you've won. I activate Frightfur Fusion and banish my Frightfur Leo and my Edge Imp Saw from the graveyard to Fusion Summon Frightfur Sabre-Tooth!"
Frightfur Leo and Edge Imp Saw appeared on the field for a moment before vanishing and in their place was a sabretooth tiger plushie with it's head split from the jaw to reveal 2 glowing red eyes while there were several blades sticking out of it's body, with 2 of them even acting like horns. There was also a full sword that was impaling it from behind, acting sort of like a tail.
Frightfur Sabre-Tooth
(LV: 8 / DARK / [Fiend/Fusion/Effect] / 2400 ATK / 2000 DEF)
"Cotton Eater's effect activates when I fusion summon a monster and let's me draw a card once per turn. It also gives all fusion monsters a 300 ATK boost." Felix informed.
Frightfur Sabre-Tooth: 2400 ATK + 300 ATK = 2700 ATK
"And now I activate Angel's ability and bring back a "Fluffal" or "Edge Imp" monster from the grave! Welcome Back Fluffal Leo (1600 ATK / 1200 DEF)!" Felix stated as Fluffal Leo entered the field again.
"Also, Sabre-tooth gives all Frightfur monsters an extra 400 ATK." Felix added as Sabre-Tooth roared.
Frightfur Sabre-Tooth: 2700 ATK + 400 ATK = 3100 ATK
"Uh oh." Ruby nervously said.
"Now Sabre-Tooth tear that kid to shreds!" Felix commanded and Sbre-Tooth charged at Ruby, who screamed and braced for the impact.
"Oh no you don't! I activate Negate Attack!" Jekyll said as a whirlwind came from the card and blew Sabre-Tooth back.
Ruby breathed a sigh of relief. "Thanks Jekyll." She said as she did not want to be attacked by that monster.
"I end my turn." Felix declared.
Turn 5
Jekyll LP: 2400 VS Felix LP: 3100
Jekyll hand: 1+1 VS Felix hand: 1
"My move." Jekyll said.
"I activate Trade-In and discard my Perfect Machine King to draw 2 cards." Jekyll said.
"Now I activate monster reborn and bring back my Robotic Knight." Jekyll said as Robotic Knight entered the field once more.
"Now I summon RWBY Soul: Weiss Schnee!" He said and Weiss jumped onto the field readying herself for whatever was gonna happen.

(LV: 2 / WATER / [Spellcaster/Tuner/Effect] / 1200 ATK / 600 DEF)
"Now I tune her with my Robotic Knight!" Jekyll said as Weiss turned into 2 rings and Robotic Knight turned into 4 stars.
"I Synchro Summon White Snow Huntress: Weiss Schnee!" He stated as Weiss entered the field in her normal size.

(LV: 6 / WATER /[Spellcaster/Synchro/Effect] / 2200 ATK / 1600 DEF)
"Now this is more like it." Weiss said as she examined her weapon.
"When RWBY Soul: Weiss Schnee is used as a Synchro material for a "Huntsman" or "Huntress" Monster, I can search my deck for 1 spell and add it to my hand." Jekyll said as he grabbed a card.
"Now I'll activate it, a second Machine Assembly Line." Jekyll said which surprised and confused everyone.
"Why would you do that? That doesn't do anything to help them." Felix asked.
"I can't believe I'm saying this but he's right! What were you thinking you dolt?!" Weiss exclaimed.
"I was thinking it wasn't staying around 'cause I activate White Snow Huntress: Weiss Schnee's Special ability." Jekyll told them.
"Semblance." Weiss corrected.
"Whatever. By sacrificing 2 face-up spell cards on the field I can special summon from my hand, deck, or graveyard, this monster." Jekyll said as he grabbed a card from his deck.
Suddenly Weiss' aura started to flare up and one of her Glyphs started to form next to her.
"What's going on?!" She asked.
"I summon Summoned Arma Gigas!" Jekyll declared as a blizzard suddenly kicked up from Weiss' Glyph and when it ended a new monster was standing there. It was a giant suit of knight's armor with a giant broad sword, it was completely made out of ice.

(LV: 8 / WATER / [Warrior/Effect] / 3000 ATK / 2500 DEF)
"That's... a summon." Weiss muttered in awe, she wasn't able to summon before but here was the Arma Gigas defeated in the form of a Schnee summon.
"That's amazing!" Ruby exclaimed with stars in her eyes.
"Weiss! Why didn't you tell me you could summon monsters! I thought we were best friends!" Ruby cried.
"I couldn't before." Weiss said, not caring to say anything about the best friends part as she continued to stare at the monster.
"I don't know how to feel about this." She mumbled, on one hand she was able to actually summon like her sister Winter, but on the other, it was through the help of a children's card game.
"Arma Gigas also has a special ability. It gains 500 ATK for every Spellcaster on the field!" Jekyll added.
Summoned Arma Gigas: 3000 ATK + 500 ATK = 3500 ATK
"Oh crap." Felix said.
"Now time for Arma Gigas to slay that Sabre-Tooth!" Jekyll declared as the knight raised it's sword and charged at FrightFur Sabre-Tooth before bringing his blade down and slicing it in half.
Felix LP: 3100 - 400 = 2700 LP
"Now, you think you can handle that Fluffal Leo Ruby?" Jekyll asked.
"Sure!" Ruby said as she sped behind Leo.
"I'm so sorry lion!" She exclaimed as she destroyed it.
Felix LP: 2700 - 1200 = 1500 LP
"Now her effect to deal 500 damage!" Jekyll reminded.
"This is for using such a cute monster for evil!" Ruby exclaimed as she fired a shot into Felix's chest.
Felix LP: 1500 - 500 = 1000 LP
"Now Weiss let's take him down." Jekyll said and Weiss nodded as she charged at Felix and stabbed him with her rapier , knocking him onto his back.
Felix LP: 1000 - 2200 = 0 LP
Duel over
Winner: Jekyll Giada
"We did it!" Ruby cheered "That was awesome!"
"You did wonderful!" Penny complimented.
Suddenly Ruby was surrounded by a vortex of rose petals and Weiss had a glyph appear over head and go through her and they were both chibi's again. The Arma Gigas also disappeared.
"Hey, that's like what happened to Penny when she was used in a duel when we first met." Jekyll said as he sat down on the ground.
"You okay?" Aqua asked.
"Yeah, just exhausted. That was my 4th duel in a row today." He said.
"It seems we can only turn back to normal in a duel." Penny theorized.
Weiss then walked up to Felix who was getting up.
"Alright talk! Why do you duel us with cards instead of using force?" Weiss asked.
Felix just chuckled and looked at her.
"I don't need to tell you anything Snow Pixie." Felix told her.
"But since the kid was the one who beat me I'll give him this. When me and my pals got here not only did we get a change in looks and brains, but apparently we're also as powerless as you are here. But thanks to our boss we learned a way to make this duels more realistic by making the players able to feel actual pain. Don't know exactly how it works but I don't really care, here, dueling is our new way of fighting." Felix explained.
Felix then got up and pulled out a device that looked like a pen.
"Now if you'll excuse me I've got other stuff to attend to." He said as he pressed a button and he suddenly disappeared.
Everyone just stared at where he was for a moment.
"...Okay. What is with all these guys and suddenly disappearing like that?!" Jekyll exclaimed.
Bonus Trivia!: I recently saw a video that mentioned how all the Yu-Gi-Oh protagonists' ace monsters have the rule of 2500 ATK and 2000 DEF, with the DEF exception being the Link monster of VRAINS. Since Ruby is basically the protagonist of RWBY, she even gave herself the protagonist hair in volume 7, I decided to make her follow this rule too as a sort of easter egg.
