In a garage in Delta city a young man was entering the room. He had tan skin, short, spiky, red hair almost resembling a fire, and orange eyes. He was wearing a leather jacket and a pair of leather gloves as well as a red under shirt with the image of a flame on it, and black pants and shoes. This is Carmine Rust.
Suddenly he heard a noise coming from behind a bike and grabbed a wrench that was laying around.
"Whoever's there, better come out now or things could get ugly." He said as he readied his wrench.
A chibi girl with long blonde hair, light skin, and lilac eyes walked out from behind the bike that belonged to Carmine.
"No need to be so rough, I was just checking out the sweet bikes here." The chibi said
"The hell?" Carmine said.
"What's wrong, never seen a girl before?" The chibi joked.
"Oh I have. I've just never seen one that was a chibi." Carmine retorted
"Now what are doing in here?" Carmine asked.
"And you better not be messing with my bike." He added as he gestured to his bike with look's like a modified and futuristic version of a classic 80's chopper that was black with red and orange fire-like designs on it.
"Well the name's Yang, I was searching for my sister and friends when I found this garage and found your bike. I've gotta say, it's a sweet ride." Yang complemented.
Carmine smirked. "Well glad to see someone has some appreciation for the art that is motorcycles." He said as he put the wrench away and notices a card on the ground next to his bike.
"Well since your from around here I was hoping you could give me directions" Yang said.
"If your asking if I seen your friends, who I'm assuming are going to be tiny like you are, sorry but your the first and only chibi I've seen around here." Carmine said.
"Maybe I can help." A new voice said.
Carmine and Yang turned to see a large man with dark skin, short messy brown hair, and brown eyes charging at Carmine.
Carmine managed to react in time and roll under the man's punch. After the man had missed the punch he threw he immediately lunged at yang and tried to grab her but was blocked by some kind of barrier that formed around yang.
"AAAGH!" The man grunted in pain as sparks flew off from the barrier when his hand made contact. He looked at his palm to see some of the flesh on it was slightly melted.
"Fine then, I guess we're doing it this the other way." He said as he pulled out a duel disk and got it ready.
'This guy attacks me and now he wants to duel?' Carmine questioned as he got back up.
"Who the hell are you and want do you want?" Carmine questioned.
"You can call me Kuma and all you need to know is that I intend to duel you and win." Kuma stated.
'So he's not gonna tell me anything. Might as well duel him and get it over with.' Carmine thought as he walked over to his duel runner.
"Fine." He said as he pressed a button on his bike and his duel disk was ejected before he grabbed it and put it on, the duel disk was black and streamlined and matched with his bike. "You want to duel. Let's duel."
Meanwhile Yang was just on the sidelines watching on with interest. She had no idea what was going on but from what she could tell they were about to play a card game. Seeing as she considered herself an 'expert' on card games, remembering playing 'Remnant: the game' with her sister and friends, she was interested in seeing where this went.
Duel begin
Turn 1
Carmine LP: 4000 VS Kuma LP: 4000
Carmine hand: 5 VS Kuma hand: 5
"I'll start this duel off!" Carmine exclaimed.
"First off I'll activate the effect of my Skull Conductor and send him to the graveyard to special summon from my hand my two Burning Skull Heads in Defense Mode!" He stated as 2 large flaming skulls appeared on the field.
Burning Skull Head
(LV: 3 / FIRE / [Zombie/Effect] / 1000 ATK / 800 DEF)
"Hope you brought your oven mitts 'cause this kitchen is about to get hotter because now they're ability lets them turn up the heat and burn away 1000 of your life points each!" Carmine added as the 2 skulls began to fly around Kuma and surrounded him with fire.
Kuma LP: 4000 - 2000 = 2000 LP
Yang had a large grin on her face and was laughing. "That was awesome! Those were also some nice puns." She commented.
Carmine just developed a shit eating grin. "Glad to hear someone enjoys the fire I spit out."
"Well what can I say, I like 'em hot." Yang joked.
"Usually my jokes are too spicy for people handle." Carmine quipped as they both just started laughing their asses off.

Kuma, meanwhile, was just staring at hem with a blank expression.
"I had the flesh of my palm melted not two minutes ago, yet those puns are still more painful than anything I've experienced." He said.
Meanwhile...
Jekyll, Aqua, Penny, Ruby and Weiss were walking down the road when suddenly all of them, except for Penny, stopped and shivered.
"Is something wrong?" Penny asked, confused as to why everyone was acting weird.
"I feel like something horrible just happened." Jekyll said and the other 3 had the same feeling while leaving Penny confused as to what just happened.
Back to the duel...
"I'll set 2 cards face down and end my turn." Carmine said as he passed the turn over.
Turn 2
Carmine LP: 4000 VS Kuma LP: 2000
Carmine hand: 0 VS Kuma hand: 5+1
"My turn." Kuma said as he drew.
"I'll start this off by playing Cost Down." Kuma stated as he discarded a card.
"This little baby let's me cut down the Levels of all the monsters in my hand by 2 so say hello to Armed Dragon LV 5!" Kuma exclaimed as a black and red dragon with spikes all over it's body and gauntlet-like fists appeared.
Armed Dragon LV 5
(LV: 5 / WIND / [Dragon/Effect] / 2400 ATK / 1700 DEF)
"But that isn't all. I now activate my spell Level Up! Turning my Armed Dragon LV 5 to Armed Dragon LV 7!" Kuma added as LV5 disappeared and in it's place was what appeared to be a larger, older, and much more ferocious version of it.
Armed Dragon LV 7
(LV: 7 / WIND / [Dragon/Effect] / 2800 ATK / 1000 DEF)
"Wow that's a big dragon. It also looks like he's armed and dangerous." Yang punned.
"As much as I love a good joke, now is not the time to compliment the enemy's monster." Carmine said although he had to stifle a snort from the joke.
"Ugh! Enough with these 5th rate jokes!" Kuma roared. "Armed Dragon, take out one of those Skulls!"
Armed dragon reared it's arm back and swung its fist at one of the Burning Skull Heads.
"Not so fast! I activate my trap, Scrap-Iron Scarecrow!" Carmine declared as what looked like a scarecrow made of multiple pieces of scrap metal with a white scarf and broken biker helmet with googles on it appeared and took the attack before going back to face-down position.
"I'll set a card face down and end my turn." Kuma said.
Turn 3
Carmine LP: 4000 VS Kuma LP: 2000
Carmine hand: 0+1 VS Kuma hand: 1
"I draw." Carmine said as he drew a card
"I tribute my 2 Burning Skull heads to tribute summon my Skull Flame!" Carmine said as his 2 skulls disappeared and in their place a new monster with dark skin and yellow markings on it's face, fire for hair, wearing purple robes, bone-like shoulder pads and a red cape appeared.
Skull Flame
(LV: 8 / FIRE / [Zombie/Effect] / 2600 ATK / 2000 DEF)
"But why summon it and get rid of your 2 monsters? It still has less ATK and I know it doesn't have an ability to boost it." Kuma said as Carmine smirked.
"Well first off I activate my face-down, Jar of Greed." Carmine said as he drew a card.
"Now I activate Graceful Charity to draw 3 more times and then discard 2 cards." He said and drew 3 more cards before deciding which cards to get rid of.
"I activate my Field Spell Molten Destruction." Carmine said as the field changed from the garage to an active volcano.
"Now my monsters get even hotter thanks to it's effect." Carmine quipped and Yang laughed.
Skull Flame: 2600 ATK + 500 ATK = 3100 ATK
2000 DEF - 400 DEF = 1600 DEF
"Now Skull Flame! Take out Armed Dragon LV 7!" Carmine commanded and Skull Flame started charging a fireball in it's hands.
"Not so fast! I activate Zero Gravity!" Kuma declared as his face-down was revealed and both monsters changed to a more defensive stance.
Carmine frowned. "I end my turn."
Turn 4
Carmine LP: 4000 VS Kuma LP: 2000
Carmine hand: 0 VS Kuma hand: 1+1
Kuma drew and saw what he had before smirking.
"I banish my Armed Dragon LV 7 on the field and my Armed Dragon LV 3 in my graveyard in order to special summon, Armed Dragon LV 10 White!" Kuma declared as a smaller, younger version of Armed Dragon that was yellow and brown appeared next to it's bigger counterpart before they both disappeared. In their place was looked like another version of Armed Dragon that looked bigger and older than LV 7, however unlike it's previous counterpart which was red and black, this one was completely white.
Armed Dragon LV 10 White
(LV 10 / LIGHT / [Dragon/Effect] / 3000 ATK / 2000 DEF)
"Woah!" Yang exclaimed in awe. "Looks like that dragon got another growth spurt, and that it washed with bleach."
"That's not all, now I can add White Veil to my hand, and I think I'll activate it." Kuma said as he grabbed a card from his deck before inserting it into his duel disk as Armed Dragon gained a white aura.
"Now I'll equip it with the spell Fairy Meteor Crush." Kuma said as he played another card and Armed Dragon let loose a roar as it surged with power.
"This is gonna hurt." Carmine said as he braced himself for what comes next.
"Although your monster gets a few extra defense points since White Veil will cancel out your face up Spell and traps effects for a moment when my monster attacks. It won't matter cause it still won't be enough. Go! Armed Dragon!" Kuma said as Armed dragon started reeling it's fist back.
Skull Flame: 1600 DEF + 400 DEF = 2000 DEF
"Oh I forgot to mention, when Armed Dragon White attacks, at the start of the damage step I can destroy 1 card you control so I'll target your Scarecrow!" Kuma added as Carmine's card was destroyed and Kuma's dragon then let loose it's attack and destroyed the Zombie-type monster.
Carmine LP: 4000 - 1000 = 3000 LP
"Now, since Armed Dragon destroyed Skull flame, White Veil destroys all your face up Spell and Traps!" Kuma added as the effect of Molten Destruction shattered and they were back in the garage.
"What was that?! Why didn't you block that attack with that card from before?" Yang questioned.
"That White Veil card he used doesn't let me use my spells or traps when his monster attacks." Carmine explained.
"But I do have a back up plan, although it'll only work if you're willing to help kick this guys ass." He said.
"Hell yeah!" Yang cheered. "Let me in on the fun!"
Carmine smirked before turning to Kuma.
"I activate the effect of RWBY Soul: Yang Xiao Long in my Graveyard!" Carmine said as Yang hopped onto the field. "Whenever I take 1000 or more points of damage, be it by battle or by some special effect, I can special summon her from my hand or grave."
RWBY Soul: Yang Xiao Long
(LV: 1 / FIRE / [Warrior/Tuner/Effect] / 100 ATK / 100 DEF)
"But when did she go- wait!" Kuma started to question before remembering when Carmine used Graceful Charity.
"So you realized. But it won't help too much since you already attack with your only monster." Carmine said.
Kuma only growled as he ended his turn.
Turn 5
Carmine LP: 3000 VS Kuma LP: 2000
Carmine hand: 0+1 VS Kuma hand: 0

"I draw!" Carmine said.
He looked at his card and smirked. "Time to turn up the heat!"
"I activate the effect of Mezuki in my grave and banish him to bring back my Burning Skull head." He said as one of his destroyed skulls appeared on the field.
"Now I activate the spell Upstart Goblin." Carmine said as he drew and a green aura surrounded Kuma.
Kuma LP: 2000 + 1000 = 3000
"Now I activate the spell card I just drew, Book of Life! So say goodbye to your Armed Dragon LV 5, and hello to my second Burning Skull Head!" Carmine said as both monsters reappeared on the field, however Armed Dragon LV 5 disappeared right after it appeared.
"Now I activate Yang's second effect! By paying 500 Life Points I can increase her level by 1!
Carmine LP: 3000 - 500 = 2500 LP
RWBY Soul: Yang Xiao Long Level: 1 + 1 = 2
Kuma realized what he was doing.
"Wait, a Level 2 Tuner and 2 Level 3 monsters..." He said in shock.
"I Tune my Level 2 RWBY Soul: Yang Xiao Long with my 2 Level 3 Burning Skull Heads to Synchro Summon!" Carmine declared as yang turn into two green rings of light and the two skulls turned into six stars.
2 + 3 + 3 = 8
"Come on out blazing huntress of burning gold! Level 8, Yellow Flame Huntress: Yang Xiao Long!" Carmine said as Yang appeared in her full size from a pillar of light surrounded by flames before performing a couple punches and kicks, sending the flames away.
Yellow Flame Huntress: Yang Xiao Long
(LV: 8 / FIRE / [Warrior/Synchro/Effect] / 2900 ATK / 1800 DEF)
"Ok, that was awesome." Yang complimented her own entrance.
"Hell yeah." Carmine agreed.
"That entrance was fire." He punned and yang laughed.
It wasn't until a groan came out from Kuma that they were reminded of the situation.
"If you're going to attack make it quick so I won't have to listen to anymore insufferable puns." Kuma groaned out.
"Fine..." Carmine and Yang grumbled.
"But first things first, Yang's ability activates whenever my Life Points are lower than my opponent's, she gains an extra 800 ATK!" Carmine informed as yang smashed her fists together as her lit ablaze and her eyes turned red.
Yellow Flame Huntress: Yang Xiao Long: 2900 ATK + 800 ATK = 3700 ATK
"Now Yang, show that dragon what for!" Carmine said as yang smiled and used her gauntlets to propel herself forward and throw a powerful punch towards Armed Dragon. The punch connected with it's face, creating a powerful shockwave and destroying it.
Kuma LP: 3000 - 700 = 2300 LP
Kuma growled at his monster being destroyed.
"But's that's not all." Carmine said, getting Kuma's attention. "Since RWBY Soul: Yang Xiao Long was used to summon her, she gains the ability to deal you damage equal to the ATK of monsters she destroys in battle." He informed, causing Kuma's eyes to widen as Kuma looked to see yang in front him, a smirk on her face and ready to throw a punch.
With a battle cry Yang threw a punch at Kuma which sent him flying through the garage door and across the street.
Kuma LP: 2300 - 3000 = 0LP
Duel Over
Winner: Carmine Rust
Yang and Carmine started cheering before multiple shouts got their attention.
"Carmine/Yang?!"
They turn to see Jekyll, Aqua, Ruby, Penny and Weiss standing at the now broken door looking at them with shocked expressions.
"Ruby!" Yang exclaimed as she rushed over to give her sister a bone crushing hug.
"Gah! Yang... Can't... Breathe!" Ruby gasped out as she was caught in an inescapable hug. Suddenly, Yang was surrounded by fire before turning back to her chibi form.
"As touching as this reunion is, do you mind explaining that?" Jekyll asked as he gestured to where Kuma had landed.
"Uh, where'd he go?" Aqua asked as she and everyone else looked to where Kuma was, only to see he had disappeared.
"That trick is starting to get old real quick." Jekyll deadpanned.
A/N: Yang's character is probably one of the harder one's for me to write since I'm not a social person (by that I mean complete and utter Introvert) so I can't exactly be sure of what a party going, adventurous person like Yang would say in some situations.
Also, I know at least a couple of you have been thinking "Carmine seems familiar.". Well, Carmine was inspired by Hunter Pace from Yu-Gi-Oh 5D's and I also felt like out of all the duelists out there Pace would have been one the one's who would get along with Yang the most.
Fun fact: Carmine is all a member of my fan-made RWBY Team, Team JSTR (Jester), I haven't fully fleshed them out yet so I used them as main characters in this story who still have the same personality and concepts (albeit some minor differences). So far he is the third member to appear.
Also, I've been planning on giving Jekyll a backup/secondary deck to use when he doesn't use his machines but I can't decide between Performapals (and Odd-Eyes dragon and Starving Venom dragon) or Evil HERO decks. Which one should I use, or should I just pick both.
P.S. All the characters will have backup/secondary decks just in case.
Also I have Chaotic/RWBY crossover story planned which I might make after I update one of my other stories first, so keep an Eye out for that.
