Meanwhile, George had sprinted outside after seeing that it was almost 9 PM. He had no idea what had happened between Biff, Marty, and Ally. He did see what was happening in the car. There is a struggle going on between Lorraine and what he assumed to be, Marty.
He adjusted his suit and walked over to the car. He grabbed the driver's side door handle and opens the door. "Hey, you, get your damn hands off-" he started. His confidence seemed to drop when he saw that it wasn't Marty in the car. Biff slowly looked up at him with a death glare.
"I think you got the wrong car, Mcfly," Biff said, his hands still on Lorraine. George swallowed the lump in his throat, not knowing what to do for a moment. He was frozen stiff where he stood. Lorraine rose up, looking at him with a look of terror in her eyes.
"George! Help me, please!" she begged, but was forced back down on the seat. "Turn around, McFly and walk away," Biff warned. However, George didn't move an inch. "Are you deaf, Mcfly? Close the door and beat it," Biff spat at him.
George swallowed and pointed a finger at Biff. "No, Biff. You leave her alone," he said. Biff throws Lorraine aside and gets out of the car, towering over George. "Alright, Mcfly, you're asking for it, and now you're gonna get it like that little bitch," Biff said.
George tried to punch Biff, but his arm was caught and twisted around his back. "Biff, stop it! You're gonna break his arm!" Lorraine shouted. Biff was trying to snap George's arm or try to dislocate it.
Meanwhile, Marvin Berry was trying to get the trunk to the car open. "Give me a hand here, Reginald," he said. They do manage to open the trunk, but Marvin slices his hand open in the process.
The siblings quickly jumped out of the trunk. "Whose are these?" Ally asked. "Mine," the owner of the car said. Ally tosses them to the driver before the siblings take off sprinting back to Lorraine.
With George, his arm was still being held onto by Biff, who was close to snapping his arm. Lorraine jumped out of the car and jumped onto Biff and shouted, "Biff! Leave him alone! Let him go!" Biff turns towards her and pushes her off of him.
When she landed on the ground with a grunt, George quickly looked over at her. He looked up at Biff, who was laughing at her. George felt himself becoming angry by Biff's actions. This was his moment to stand up to Biff and protect the woman he loves.
His fist clenched tightly while shaking. He pulled his fist back, eyes lighting up with hatred. Biff glanced down at George and was immediately met with George's fist. The punch was so hard that Biff got knocked back against the car, knocking him out.
Needless to say, Lorraine was shocked that George had built up the courage to stand up to the biggest bully of the school. George was shaken up too because he didn't know he had that type of courage in him.
Marty and Ally had made it back and had seen their father punch Biff straight in the face. "Oh my god, he did it," Ally laughed, surprised at what just happened. They watched as George helped Lorraine to her feet and led her away from an unconscious Biff.
A whole crowd came to see what was happening. "Who is that guy?" a girl asked from behind Ally. "That's George Mcfly," her date replied. Marty took out the photo of them and their other two siblings. Linda was starting to disappear.
"Ally, c'mon!" Marty said, pulling her passed the crowd of people.
They make it back to the car and see that the band was still outside by the car. Marvin's hand was covered with a cloth to stop the bleeding. "Hey, guys, you gotta get back in there!" Ally said, starting to panic again. They had only a short amount of time before they'd disappear completely.
"Hey, girl, look at Marvin's hand. He can't play with his hand like this," the owner of the car said. Marty shook his head and said, "No, no, you gotta play! That's where they kiss for the first time on the dance floor. If there's no music, then they can't dance, and if they don't dance, they can't kiss. If they don't kiss, we're history," He looked at his sister, his eyes widened in panic.
"Look, man, the dance is over, unless you both know someone who can play guitar," the driver of the car said. Ally smiled and placed a hand on her brother's shoulder. "I'd like to introduce you to your new guitarist." Ally said.
(In the Gym)
Marty was on stage, playing the song Earth Angel while Ally stood backstage to keep an eye on him. She would come to his assistance if he needed it. Marvin gave a nod and walked to the microphone and said, "This is for all you lovers out there,"
Marty and Ally watched as their parents were slow dancing on the floor. Marty attached the picture to the neck of the guitar and looked at it. It was just him and Ally in the picture now. Marty glanced back at Ally, slightly panicked.
When they looked again, they saw that some ginger-haired guys pushed George aside so he could dance with their mother. When that happened, Marty was having a hard time playing the guitar. He started playing the wrong notes.
Marty felt his knees become weak and he fell to the floor, unable to stand up. Ally ran to him quickly and knelt down. "Marty? Marty, what's wrong?" Ally asked, her voice shaky.
Marty started to sweat and it looked like he was hurting, he was becoming pale. "I-I can't play, Ally… I'm not feeling good..." Marty moaned, the feeling becoming stronger. Ally looked at the picture, Marty was starting to disappear.
They looked at his hand and it was starting to vanish. "No… Please, god no..." Ally said, feeling tears filling her eyes. She couldn't lose her brother, her best friend. Even though Ally brings her brother into a hug, he couldn't feel it.
While this was happening, George walked up to the ginger-headed kid who took Lorraine from him. He pushes him to the ground, takes her into his arms and he kisses her. The minute they did, Marty shot right up, recovering instantly and the siblings stood up.
Ally smiled when she saw their parents kissing. "The picture, Marty," Ally said. They looked at the picture and saw that David and Linda had reappeared. "We did it, Ally… We did it," Marty said with a big smile on his face. Ally couldn't help but hug her brother happily and he hugged her back. They make eye contact with George, who gives them a wave.
Soon, the song ended and the people on the dance floor were clapping. Marvin comes over to them and says, "That was really good, man. Let's do another one!" Ally looked at him and said, "Actually we gotta go,"
"Aw, c'mon. Let's do something that really cooks," Marvin suggested. Marty perked up and looked at the crowd. They agreed with Marvin's idea.
Marty and Ally looked at each other, knowing what song they'd do. Marty would rock out on the guitar and Ally would do the singing, since she's a great singer.
"Are you thinking what I'm thinking?" Ally said. "Yep," Marty nodded. Ally walked up to the microphone and lowered it a little so she could speak into it. "Alright, this song is an oldie," she spoke.
Marty stepped up to the microphone and said, "Well, it's an oldie where we come from," Marty turns towards the band and says, "Alright guys, let's do some blues riffs in b, watch for the changes and try to keep up, okay?"
Marty then starts playing the opening notes to the song, 'Johnny B. Goode,' The riff sounded so good that the people on the dance floor started dancing with astonishment. Ally was dancing along too while Marty was playing. Even the entire band was starting to get into the song.
She then grabbed the microphone and started singing.
"Way down in Louisiana, back in New Orleans
Way back up in the woods, among the evergreens
Stood a log cabin made of earth and wood
Where lived a country boy named Johnny B. Goode
Who never learned to read or write so well
He can play a guitar like he's ringing a bell
Go, go!
Go, Johnny, go, go!
Go, Johnny, go, go, go!
Everybody was dancing like there was no tomorrow including Marty and Ally. George and Lorraine were also dancing while other students were complimenting him on punching Biff. He was also asked if he was thinking of becoming class president.
Backstage, Marvin Berry had rushed to a phone to call his cousin. "Chuck! Chuck, it's Marvin! Your cousin Marvin Berry! You know that new sound you're looking for? We'll listen to this!" Marvin says, holding out the phone towards the music.
Marty was still rocking out on the guitar, hopping on one leg and kicking the other in the air across the stage. However, neither of them realized that the crowd on the dance floor had stopped dancing. Marty was now laying on the floor, scooting across it while rocking out on the guitar.
Marty then kicks over a speaker, causing the frequency to become static before he slides on his knees, holding a single, high pitched note. Ally had stopped dancing after seeing the confused and shocked looks of the people on the dance floor.
"Um, Marty, I think you overdid it," Ally whispered to him. Marty opened his eyes and saw the looks on their faces. He laughed nervously before standing back up. He gave the guitar back to Marvin and adjusted his suit.
"Guess you guys aren't ready for that yet. But your kids are going to love it," Marty said into the microphone. The siblings walked off the stage and went down a flight of stairs. When they made it down the first flight, they saw Lorraine standing in the doorway.
"Lorraine," Marty said, with a grin. "Marty, Ally, that was interesting music," she said, faking a smile. "Nah, we did okay," Marty commented.
"Are you kidding? My singing chops were awesome. You went overboard on your guitar skills. But at least you got a chance to see what you've got," Ally said. Marty smiled at her, knowing that that was true. "Um, Marty, Ally, I hope you two wouldn't mind, but George offered to take me home," Lorraine said.
The siblings perked up and Marty said, "No, no, that's great!" "Marty and I always had a feeling about you two," Ally said, playfully punching her on the shoulder. George was behind Lorraine, holding his coat over his shoulder. Lorraine smiled and looked back at George.
"Yeah, I got a feeling too," she said. George walked up to Lorraine and covered her shoulders with his coat. "Look, we hate to leave you guys, but there's some business that Marty and I have to attend to," Ally said, "It's been… educational to say the least,"
"Will we see you guys again?" Lorraine asked. Marty smiled at her and replied, "We guarantee you will," "Marty, I wanna thank you and Ally for all that good advice. I won't forget it," George said, shaking their hands. "You're welcome, George. You've come a long way," Marty replied.
The siblings start making their way down the stairs but Marty turns around to face them again. "Oh, just a thought, if you guys ever have kids and one of them, when he's 8 years old, accidentally sets fire to the living room rug. Go easy on him," Marty said, getting Ally to raise a brow.
The siblings then turn back around and exit the building. "Out of all the memories you tell them, it had to be that one," Ally commented. Marty retorted, "Ah, shut up, Ally,"
