Chapter 102: Something's not right
That night after training with Ultra and Eternatus, Tenya talk to Izu about his parents being paranoid and worry because of the war is coming. He then invites him to dinner so he can help assure his parents that everything is going to be ok, which Izu agrees to before heading to the lab to upgrades gears and weapons for the upcoming war. One hour later, Izu joined the Iida family for dinner at their apartment, where Mr. and Mrs. Iida look into a book of strategies so they won't get killed in the war. Tensei then stop eating and try to convince his parents that everything is going to be ok and told them that they need to stay positive no matter what, causing his parents to become more stressed out. Izu then takes a deep breath before telling Mr. and Mrs. Iida what his dad told him before his death, which is that it's ok to be frightened and insecure, but they won't get rid of their problems without those who cares deeply about them, causing the parents to start crying as they both hugged Izu with Tenya and Tensei smiling. Everyone then continues eating dinner until Izu told Tenya that they are doing tutor sessions with Mina, Nathan, Denki, and Pikachu, which caused the two boys to set off to the study lounge as Tensei and his parents waves goodbye to the boys.
While preparing themselves for the session, Izuku asked Tenya when his family are taking him to their agency, which caused Tenya to say I don't know and probably after the war. Soon, Tenya recalled a flashback of himself before enrolling into kindergarten. His family owns the Ingenium agency, which was passed down for many generations. Tenya and Tensei admired their parents because of their bravery and hard work. Tenya then made it his desire to take over the Ingenium agency for his parents before studying about heroism and chew out anyone who does things recklessly, which caused people to think he's some kind of freak who yells at people who he thinks that they are doing something that reckless. Soon, Neighbors had enough is told his parents that they don't want a control freak telling people what to do and yelling at them for doing petty things "recklessly" causing Mr. Iida to explain that Tenya is just looking out for people in a very overdramatic way. The neighbors then told the Iida family to just moves away if they keep letting Tenya boss people around like he owns the place, causing Tenya to start crying until his parents and brother comforted him and told him to not let anyone put him down while doing what's best for people and putting his nose in people business is what makes a true hero according to All Might. The family then watched All Might himself on tv as he confirms his dating status with Inko, causing Tenya and Tensei to believes that Izu will make a great hero because he has All Might as a stepfather. On the first day of school, after Izu gives him the middle finger, Tenya thinks that Izu will tarnished All Might's name because of his pride in his extreme intelligence, and insufferableness. Soon, after Izu befriended Ochaco, Tenya makes a theory that Izu will be a great hero, he just needs someone like him to keep his pride and insufferableness in check, so he'll won't be mistaken for a villain. His theory is proven when Izu made his speech that inspired him and their friends to stand up for themselves have flaws that makes them stronger before they fought the Devil Brats for the first time. When he got home, he told his family that Izuku is a true hero because he stands up for others and he needs someone like him to keep him on the right path to be the greatest hero, causing his parents and Tensei to hug him with tears of joy because Tenya had finally stood his ground to look out for a friend no matter what people say. The flashback ends with the wedding during his fight with Chizome, as he vowed that he would protect Izu and one for all, that way everybody will be living in peace and harmony before declaring that if the Devil Brats dare try to take one for all from Izu so they can take over the world, he, Tensei, and their friends will be the ones to foil their evil deeds. Mina then came into the lounge before running to Izu like a dog to lick his face, causing him to laugh and scratch behind her ear as she pants happily before yapping. Nathan, Denki, and Pikachu hen came in and sat down with Tenya, while Mina and Nathan sat with Izuku as they began the tutoring session begins.
Meanwhile, the U.A. League was investigating a crime scene caused by Team Reservoir Dogs, who has escaped from Tartarus until Hawks suddenly appears and told the League that Merlin is awake and has returned to the Warcraft of Doom along with The Anti-hero Squad, causing everyone to become stressed out. All Might then calmed everyone down as Hawks told the league that he's been noticing something isn't right, which is that the Warcraft of Doom has being keeping something secret, so they can replace the island that Izu, Labrava and Mt. Lady destroyed with Ryuku, Nejire, Tsu, Ochaco, Eddie, and Cam. Ryuku then appear with her husband and said that no crimes are happening since Team Reservoir Dogs' return from Tartarus, meaning is almost too quiet right now. The heroes then start speculating about All for one's plan to steal one for all and take over Japan until Mrs. Amajiki told Hawks to keep up the good work and contact them immediately if he sees something suspicious. Mr. Komori then told his comrades that if the Peanut Gallery are going to bring Ultra and Eternatus , then they are going to need an army of monsters, causing Ryuku to mention Izu's leadership and inspiration for his friends before saying that she'll help him prepare for the fight and work on new ways to fight the Warcraft of Doom during the war. The league then agrees and thanked Ryuku before heading out to the HSPC building for the second emergency meeting because the commissioner is asking for a lockdown once the war against the Warcraft of Doom starts.
