Chapter 2: Black Clouds
Dawn had arrived.
It was quiet, and quite extremely early.
He had a habit of waking up early, perhaps it was thanks to the teachings of Gowasu which required him to keep watch over the universe at almost all times. Too bad he was an old fool who didn't understand his point of view, those who were on the verge of collapsing from age did tend to have a much narrow perspective than others.
But there were exceptions, the Grand Minister was possible hundreds of eons old, as well as the other Angels and they always seemed to be in tip top shape.
Why was he even thinking about them anyway? As far as he knew, they couldn't reach wherever this place was. He was free to do as he pleased here, he was essentially, as he always desired to be, the only god to rule.
The sunlight reached the cave, the brightness now getting to his eyes as he rubbed them, and slowly walked over to the nearby waterfall, drinking and rubbing his face with the clear liquid that gushed nearby, all while listening to the chirping of the crickets, the cawing of the birds, and all the sounds of nature that were meant to be protected.
Black had zero problem with any of the natural creatures that roamed any sort of planet, they were always driven to the brink of extinction, consistently hunted down by the mortals just for sport, worse, for their natural composition.
It was sickening.
A gentle touch was felt on his right shoulder... it was a butterfly, an average one with nice green and blue stripes... it made a smile on Black's face, one that he rarely ever displayed, it wasn't one of malice or conviction, it was just... a warm smile, as he was adhering the nature and intoxicating majesty that laid in front of him.
The butterfly flew away.
Black guessed why, he heard it coming as well. This only fueled his desire to get started on his plan.
"YOU! Don't move and give me all of your ryō and I'll let you live and forget about everything what happen here!"
Of course it was a lowly human bandit who had nothing better to do with their lives, not even bothering to work for honest money.
"HEY! Ya deaf or somethin!? I said-"
It was his first elimination of a mortal life since setting foot on this planet. The fool should have known better than telling someone of a higher status than him what to do, but perhaps this whole world was ignorant to the meaning, and belief of Gods.
Even though it was just a clean shot through his heart, it was still satisfying to hear the corpse fall into the grass, which could now be food for the wildlife.
He supposed now was a better time than any to get started, as his black aura enveloped him. He was much weaker than he previously thought, he still needed some good training, but he was positive the strength he still had was enough to wipe out the native lifeforms.
But first, he needed intel, and to do that... he needed to find a library.
Every night, Boruto knew how the babies felt to have no thoughts at all.
It's what people usually liked about sleeping, there were so many theories on how it worked. Perhaps it swapped the minds of the conscious and the unconscious, it would either result in a nice dream where someone could be having a nice chat or game with their friends or something completely make-believe that wasn't possible, like being inserted into their favorite television program, or much to their chagrin, a nightmare, rendering many fantasies pointless while everything they've known becomes impossible to grasp.
Of course, there was some things that were nice in real life, one of them being the sunshine of Boruto's life, his little sister Himawari, who was climbing onto Boruto, his body shaking lightly on the bed, as his shut eyelids twitched.
His dream was interrupted by the warm blue eyes and yellow jacket he always saw so often, as he smiled warmly and rubbed the soft hair of his younger sibling. "Hey, Himawari."
She nuzzled up against his cheek like a cat, which he allow for a few seconds before latching onto her shoulders and gently pushing her off so he could leave the bed. His yawn echoed across the room as he stretched his arms wide open and leaned as far back as his spine would let him.
It was hard to believe this little ball of sunshine that was his ten-year old sister contained so much hidden potential that was able to take out the Seventh Hokage, their father Naruto Uzumaki, who was known to be one of the strongest ninjas in all the lands. It was just over ripping her toy that she had awakened the Byakugan, one of the "Three Great Dōjutsu", which had terrified Boruto when he witnessed it in action. That day, he vowed never to bring Himawari anywhere prone to anger, he already had to handle the wrath of her mother every so often, one hotheaded woman was all he needed right now.
Once he had all of his clothes ready, he headed down to have some breakfast which he expected his mother, Hinata Hyūga to make, but she was nowhere to be found. All there was were two bowls of cereal, both of them made by Himawari for her and Boruto.
"Hey, Himawari, where did Mom go?" Boruto couldn't help but question.
She swiftly replied with her usual cheerful and high-pitched voice. "She went out to buy some more food. We were running out, remember?"
Right, he recalled the conversation from last night how Hinata was going to be out early, and he was in charge of getting himself ready for his next mission.
After finishing his breakfast at a speedy pace, he wasted no time heading towards the Hokage's office along with Sarada and Mitsuki ready for this new assignment, and much to Boruto's interest, they had finally gotten a C-rank mission.
These were the missions that were usually assigned to chūnin, or in some cases, genin. Assignments often included bodyguard duty and hunting wild animals, all of which will likely pose some risk to the ninja, albeit, there generally shouldn't be a chance of combat against other ninja on these missions. What they had gotten was bodyguard duty to guide and guard an elderly figure by the name of Toyo Kin. He had reported last night that he was being followed by some random bandit who had threatened him, so he requested someone to help him get home so he would feel safe. Their team leader, Konohamaru would be attending them along the journey.
Although Boruto wasn't that excited about something like this, it was better than nothing, as well as having to watch some babies, and pets.
Along the forest path, not much words were spoken between each other, not that there was any bad blood going on, they just had nothing interesting to say today. Boruto on the inside, was silently fuming. You've gotta be kidding me! How far this old man live, another village?! There's no way some random guy's gonna appear out of nowhere when he sees us, anyway.
They continued along, the walk being very peaceful indeed.
He had a good view of the village from high in the air, hovering over a forest to hopefully not attract any suspicion or attention from where he was from. He quickly jumped down the mountain at a pace no one was able to track, the malevolent deity swiftly reaching ground level, and beginning to walk around the community known as Kumogakure, or, the Hidden Cloud Village. He hid behind some bushes and waited until the coast was clear for him to wander around like a regular civilian and blend in with the surrounding environment. If he had went through the front gate, those weaklings would have asked him what his business was, and if he caused trouble, the humans would fear him and immediately cause chaos so he couldn't enact his plan immediately. If he could find a library, he would be able to learn the history of this world.
As he walked into the center of the village, he noticed a giant jumbotron on a building. It seemed this world is still in it's developing stage. On the big digital screen, a news channel seemed to be playing, and there were two figures sitting in chairs apart of from each other, one a male with short blond hair and strangely, three whiskers on each of his cheeks. He seemed to be in formal clothing with in orange sleeved shirt, and in a proper stance.
The female across was addressing him at the moment, and Black couldn't help but overhear her and scowl at her words. "-how do you bring peace and justice to this new world since the-"
He wasn't paying attention at all to the last part, thinking angrily in his mind. Who does this mortal think she is, preaching about justice?
"It's simple, really," the Seventh Hokage replied on the big screen. "I didn't achieve any of this by myself, you can ask a lot of people what I was like back in the old days. It was all my friends, teammates and so many others who helped out-"
Black walked away, having heard just about enough. This charade was distracting him from what he came here for.
First, to get to the library, he needed to ask for directions.
From a mortal.
This would hopefully be the only time he would ever act like this in the presence of a being beneath him. It wasn't hard to find what he assumed to be what they called, a man of the law. The man wore white armor, had a chest plate hanging in his left shoulder, a short sword sheath on his back, black pants, black scandals and a headband that displayed some type of foreign symbol that was unfamiliar to him.
Black calmed himself down and walked towards the man and addressed him with a polite tone. "Excuse me, is there any place around the village that has any books to read?"
"Uh, yeah, you see that big building in front you, just go straight down and you'll find it," the man informed Black, as he nodded and set off, not even bothering to say a simply thank you, but the man was used to this sort of behavior so he wasn't that much annoyed.
Black was even able to overhear two girls conserving about what he assumed to be him as he found them at the corner of his eye, staring at him.
"Woah, look at that man, I bet he doesn't have a girlfriend and he's... more handsome than the Seventh Hokage!" the first girl with green hair found herself blushing, as her dark skinned friend laughed.
"If you like him so much," she began. "Go follow him and talk him so you can know him better. Might be a rocky start but every relationship starts like that.
The blonde shinobi thought about the possibilities and found herself envious. She just had to speak with him! She couldn't even stop herself from following him. "Yeah, you're right, well I'll try my best so wish me luck!"
Black decided to ignore her as he finally made his way inside the library, and it didn't look all that bad. There was a long and curvy flight of stairs at the corner of the building which lead to the second floor. Like they should be, everyone was reading quietly, but instead of books, everything here was a scroll, piquing Black's interest. He didn't mind the change, all he needed to do was locate the history section, and luckily there were some signs in the middle pointing to whatever category anyone would want to read. The history section was upstairs so he walked calmly up, step by step. Thankfully not a single mortal had passed by him on the way so he didn't have to deal with any sort of trouble just yet.
Once he reached the history section, he quickly grabbed a good chunk of scrolls and set them all down on a nearby table, while even with some people sitting around it, there was still enough space for him to spread out all of the literature.
It seemed they were made in some sort of order so he took the one that was labeled #1 and opened it up. The first thing he noticed that the planet he was on either didn't have a name, or the scroll didn't state it. It did however, have a map to navigate around it, which showed the whole world, the first land he discovered right now was the one he was in the Hidden Cloud Village, a part of the Land of Lightning, which was one of the Five Great Shinobi Countries and it didn't take him long to locate the other four.
The Land of Fire, Water, Wind and Earth.
The second part he found interesting was that the humans here had a substance native to them called Chakra, which was much different than ki.
He keep reading about chakra and noticed that they use nature like powers to release fire, wind, lightning, water, etc. There were even some healing properties involving it, and it also gave one the ability to walk on walls and water. It also says that chakra could able to perform clones, disguises, and genjutsu, one of the main jutsu categories which utilized chakra. Apparently, from he could gather genjutsu had the ability to cast illusions in one's mind.
It doesn't seem as if this chakra is as destructive as the power I possess, so I don't believe any of the mortals here should have the ability to wield any standard form of energy back from my realm... Black noted to himself. It's certainly more unique however.
As Black kept on reading the multiple scrolls scattered on the table, he next learned about the awakened power called the dōjutsu, ninja abilities that were utilized the eyes, which one didn't matter, it could be both of them. He specifically focused on the group that was called the Three Great Dōjutsu.
The first one was the Byakugan, utilized by the Hyūga and Ōtsutsuki Clans, it's appearance being a light purple-white eye with veins showing next to them. Individuals with the Byakugan have a near-360º field of vision around themselves, save for a small blindspot at the back of the neck above the first thoracic vertebra. The Byakugan's vision can penetrate almost any object, allowing users to see through walls, peer underground, or even examine the contents of a person's body.
The second eye ability was the Sharingan, also known as the Copy Wheel Eye, used by the Ōtsutsuki and Uchicha Clans, their appearance being red eyes with three pupil-like spirals that allowed the user to see the flow of chakra, giving it color in order to distinguish it by its composition and source.
It also allowed them to read anyone's lips, copy anyone's moves, and see through enemy attacks. The upgraded version of the Sharingan is the Mangekyō Sharingan and while it did have it's advantages, the downside was over usage of the ability would leave the user blind.
The last eye was reputed as the most exalted eye of them all: The Rinnegan, which can only be used by members of the Ōtsutsuki Clan. Black began to view this specific clan as highly gifted.
The appearance of the Rinnegan was a purple eye with 6 rings on it. Rinnegan contain extraordinarily powerful chakra and boast enormous ocular power, but it was easy to lose control of it if the user wasn't properly able to wield it. One who was able to wield it could make use of six abilities collectively known as the Six Paths Technique, and their feats were most intriguing to Black, but he knew they still wouldn't be able to harm him. But the part about reviving the dead certainly caught his interest.
He still had a long way to go, but he could speed read through it all and understand it. He knew the virtue of patience, it came with being a Supreme Kai after all.
Two or three hours later, Black had finally finished everything. His brain took it all!
The origin of chakra, jutsu, clans, Kaguya Ōtsutsuki, Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki, Jinchūriki, Madara Uchiha, the four Shinobi World Wars, every single one of the Hokage, Raikage, Kazekage, Tsuchikage, Mizukage, Akatsuki, Nagato, and Momoshiki Ōtsutsuki, who was later defeated by the son of the Seventh Hokage named Boruto Uzumaki, and the hero and savior named Naruto Uzumaki.
He should have known the beings of this world spoiled their disgusting powers all over this world, thinking this was peace. Just like in his realm that mortals in all the universes are all the same. Not even these so-called gods couldn't defeat those worthless parasites. They continued to view themselves as gods and still couldn't establish world peace. They spread wars like a virus, carrying out violence to these barbaric beings. But what really hit him was someone like Naruto Uzumaki emerging victorious with his own weak mortal power and even his own son defeated another being who called himself a god!
It was decided, this village would be the first one to fall under his might, and he would make it quick, all at once they would be obliterated.
He sat up from the table and made his way to the exit of the library, until at the top of the stairs, waiting for him was one of the girls he had overheard. Why was she even here after all this time?
Black gazed sternly into her pupils, creeping her out a bit, but she still try to act professional. What did this worthless life form want with him?
The blond girl was smiling, blushing, stuttering often. "Hey, um, I, I was wondering if um... if um..."
Black waited patiently while his eyes twitched. What was she waiting for, just spill it out!
"I'm wondering if your avail… if you maybe wanna go out with me?"
The dark-clothed God was waiting for her to move out of the way, now at the limit of his patience.
The blond girl quickly came up with the assumption that he was shy and pitied him. "Oh I see you must be shy here let me give you a hug."
Black couldn't deal with this any longer so he finally let out his frustration and immediately shoved her away and roared. "DON'T TOUCH ME YOU FILTHY WORM!"
That made everyone look at the scene, all of them getting little scared at the same time. This even managed to attract the attention of the manager as he ran up the stairs to see the commotion. "Hey, what's going on over here?!"
Black looked back at the girl who was really terrified of him now, something he enjoyed as he sent a spine-chilling smirk towards her, frightening her even more, ignoring the well-dressed and built man.
"Alright, I don't want any problems here, so I'm gonna have to ask you to leave, and don't think about coming back!" barked the manager, as the body-stealer, who was now growling, complied. What was the point anyway, this place was going to be gone in a matter of moments. He didn't look back once.
The manager scratched his head, wondering why anyone would behave like that in a place like this. Fuckin' animal, what's the matter with him?
"Yeesh... what a creep!" the blonde shivered.
He stepped out the building and began to look around to search for the Raikage's energy and luckily he found him in that main building of the big mountain. Black grinned, wanting to showcase his and his people's doom right before everyone's very eyes. He wanted to make this fun, so he set off to the center of the village.
The same girl from before was following her best friend to escort her to confront the spiky-haired individual.
"There he is!" she exclaimed, hiding behind her friend and pointing at Black. "He's the one who pushed me, I couldn't fallen out the rails and hit my head! You have to do something."
The green-haired girl nodded in response. "I knew there was something fishy about him, guess it's time to teach the egoistical prick a lesson."
Black had reached the center of the town and was now feeling invigorated, the blood was pumping throughout him, he was craving for death and destruction. Before the two girls could confront him, they stopped on their tracks, not being able to believe what they were seeing right now.
He was levitating towards the air, which made everyone else pause and gaze up in a mixture of wonder, confusion and curiosity.
It was just another day of paperwork and files.
Darui, the Fifth Raikage expected this when he prepared to take on the mantle of this position, he just didn't think it would be this much. Maybe Naruto had it more easier going than him. He had a family after all.
"Lord Fifth!" yelled one of the guards bursting in through the door of his office. "There's someone in the sky please look!"
"What do you mean?" Darui raised an eyebrow in confusion. For better clarification, he took a look at his window and was able to see a man in black floating in the air, slightly nerving the Raikage. What's he doing?
By now, Black was positive he received everyone's attention, so now he could finally show them all what for, this village being his first example of his everlasting wrath.
"Now, PREPARE YOURSELF MORTALS, AS YOU ARE ABOUT TO WITNESS, A TRUE GOD'S JUSTICE!"
This did not send any positive vibes throughout anyone in the city, as murmurs spread about, children clutching to the knees of their parents, and even some of the civilians backing away. They didn't know what he meant by this at all, was he just some sort of madman, spewing prophecies about an oncoming onslaught or execution? They needed to know!
Black looked around the village one more time and began to cup his hands together, as a black and purple orb manifested itself betwixt them, growing more powerful by the second. Even the Raikage didn't know what to made of this, he had never seen this type of jutsu before.
But, once he caught Black's growing grin, he knew immediately what this was.
"HURRY! GET OF HER-"
"HAAAAAAAA!"
"Thank you so much, some youngin's don't know the meaning of compassion these days, I tell you."
"I get what you're saying."
Boruto inwardly groaned at the conversation going on between the stupid old man and Konohamaru, as he walked into his humble abode, a cabin in the middle of nowhere. Not everyone young was irresponsible for crying out loud.
"Alright, we got the mission done, is it payday yet or what?"
Sarada grimaced. "Can't you just have a little patience?"
The ground shook as if there was some sort of earthquake, which was accompanied by a binding flash and a loud boom, smoke rising far from their right, catching them all of guard as Mitsuki and Sarada held on to a tree, while Konohamaru kept his ground and Boruto fell on his buttocks.
"WHAT WAS THAT?!" shrieked the Uchicha girl, as her arms were over her eyes to protect them from the bright illumination.
"It looks like it came from the Hidden Cloud Village!" hypothesized the team leader, seeing the smoke rising higher and higher, and hopefully not any fire. "Come on, we have to check out what just happened!"
Quickly, Team 7 sprinted as fast as they could to inspect the damage, Boruto being the most speechless after the sudden detonation.
He observed his work, and checked for any survivors with an energy signature scan.
Good, no one survived.
Auspiciousness at it's grandest.
He couldn't comprehend the satisfaction he got from what he had done to those pathetic mortals. It brought him immense joy to see them perished and to see the cowardly bipedal fools spread fear on this entire world. Soo that made one Kage dead and four others to go. For now though, like his previous crusade, he needed to find a personal hideaway so far that no one could find him. He was going to have another village to deal with soon, there was a chance on of the mortal would go on ranting about how some psychopath was going around destroying cities.
Let that happen, he didn't care. It would just make this more fun.
He quickly sped off in search of a hideout.
Q: Overtime you should have goku black get his crimson saiyen powers from super dragon ball heroes Big Bang mission. Just a thought I think it would be pretty cool. Maybe later in the story have Goku and Vegeta come to assist naruto take care of black and the otsukies.
A: First of all, grammar, number two, I'm not doing anything related to Super Dragon Ball Heroes, it's a bunch of chaos and it would make this sound like a crackfic.
Q: Nice story though ,I want naruto and those otsutukis beaten up badly.
A: Isn't that Black's goal? Lol.
Q: Bruh, you'd have to nerf Goku black heptadecillions of times to make it even remotely resembling fair.
A: If you haven't read this thoroughly, he's already been nerfed because of the warp.
Q: Awesome I've been waiting for someone to readd this story it should be interesting how you're going to do it
A: I've wanted to bring this back into the light for some time, so I hope I don't disappoint, and please, grammar.
Q: i love naruto but goku black can end all of the naruverse alone
A: I'm a fan of both series' and yeah I agree, but he's nerfed here. Doesn't mean it won't be one sided.
Q: Sad U Must Be One Those Naruto Haters That U Would Want No Good Ending For Naruto To Be Beaten By Goku Black I See A Lot Of people that always post a picture thats comparing who would win goku or naruto u must be one of them
A: Why don't you put your money where your mouth is, who said I hated Naruto, and comparing the two series like who would win would just be a waste of my time. That's for the crazy fandom people.
