Saga 2: The U.A. League's responsibility starts here
Chapter 119: Good morning
The next morning, nine-year-old Izuku Midoriya wakes up to say good morning to Ultra, who was sleeping next to his bed before brushing his teeth in the bathroom. He then says good morning to his mom and All Might before getting breakfast. All Might then told Izu that he and Inko are going on an investigation because they saw a suspicious looking man that wears a mask carrying a woman somewhere last night, causing Izu to wish his stepdad and mom luck before finishing his breakfast. All Might then left the apartment to see half of the kids getting ready for their first day back at U.A. Academy before greeting them. He then starts texting his comrades a reminder that they are going to have a meeting before the investigation while some of the kids including Mina and Toru express their excitement in starting fourth grade at U.A. Academy. Ochaco then makes excited noises when she sees Izu coming out of his apartment before hugging him and say hey Deku to him, which made Izu smile as he stroked Ochaco's hair. Momo then remind Izu not to freak the new kids out with his weird experiments and inventions now that they're in the fourth grade, causing Izu to sarcastically say yes mother before sticking his tongue out, which also caused some of his friends to laugh and smack him on the head as the rest of the kids comes down to the lobby.
Soon, Yu told everyone that the bus is here, causing the kids to say goodbye to their parents before giving them kisses until Shenji pouts and ask why he's always the last one to leave, which caused Izu to come back and put Shenji on his shoulders before saying bye again. After the bus leaves, the U.A. League gathered in the lobby so All Might can tell everyone about the suspicious man he saw with Inko, causing her to confirm that it's true before describing the man's outfit along with his minions, who was with him. Mr. Tetsutetsu then said that he, Mr. Kirishima, and Fat Gum encountered some crooks who was carrying drugs that was created from human blood cells, causing Mr. Todoroki to get suspicious and say that this needs an investigation indeed, which everyone agrees. Soon, the league put on costumes before Mrs. Honenuki told Ultra and Eternatus to take care of the building while they're gone and no parties before she leaving. Ultra then pouts before asking Eternatus what they are going to do now, causing Eternatus to go back to sleep much to Ultra's annoyance.
The U.A. League gathered their comrades and told them what they are investigating, causing everyone to split up and look for any suspicious clues, which leads to Ryuku discovering the suspicious man's hideout, Mr. and Mrs. Kinoko finding out from a worried man that his wife Tasha was kidnapped when they were on their way to the hospital because she's having a baby, and finally, Mr. and Mrs. Todoroki finding out that the man is called Overhaul and he just made contact with The Anti-hero Squad. Soon, everyone gathered at Sir Nighteye's agency, where Sir Nighteye then congratulates everyone on the investigation before saying that they need to find out what is Overhaul's scheme so they can plan a raid against his agency and save Tasha and her upcoming baby. The U.A. League then say right before taking off to get reports on Overhaul.
