Chapter 134: Time for investigation
The next day, All Might, Special, and the Peanut Gallery's associates wait at the meeting spot until Izu came wearing a dark and mysterious costume before revealing himself to introduced himself as Black Might, causing everyone to become concern for Izu's mental health until Special ask him if he's sure that everything is fine, causing Black Might to say yes in a depressing tone before saying that they should just get the investigation started with. Black Might then revealed the book about the Band of Massacre's backstory before splitting everyone up to start investigating for any more suspicious activity. All Might and Inko then set off while talking about Izu's mysterious behavior getting worse until they discovered The Anti-hero Squad walking into Massacre Agency, which caused them to get closer and eavesdrop on a conversation between the squad and the two leaders of the organization. The duo then reports back to Black Might, who then say good job to them before saying that it's now time for a stakeout, causing everyone but All Might and Special, who are worried sick about Izu, to say yes sir.
Soon, Black Might look over a ledge of a building near Massacre Agency to wait for the Anti-hero Squad to come out until one of Buddy's friends came to him and ask if his friends from the Peanut Gallery knows about this, causing Black Might to briefly look at him emotionlessly before saying that he does not know who the Peanut Gallery are, causing everyone to become shocked. Meanwhile, the Peanut Gallery themselves are trying to locate Deku, with some of them crying while the babies including Eri, who was mysteriously brought down, look at them with curiosity. Tenya then gets confused before asking how Eri can come down when she's still in the carrier, causing Mina to say that she and the others don't even know. Ochaco then began punching herself while everyone gets flashbacks of them meeting Izu for the first time until Shoto noticed the door to Izu's apartment open, which caused him to get everyone's attention as he led them into the apartment to see Fuego and Whobert much to everyone's shock. They then became more shocked when Katsuki gets a phone call and got told that there's a mysterious hero helping them with the investigation of the Band of Massacre.
Meanwhile back at the stakeout, everyone tries to remind Izu (AKA Black Might) about the things he done with his team but Black Might keep saying that he doesn't know them. Gentle then tears up before asking Izu what happened to him, causing Black Might to slowly turn to his comrades and say that everything is fine in his most threatening and quietest voice. After seeing his comrades faces, Black Might quickly look away and quietly apologized to everyone before saying that he's been through a lot to prove something, so everyone can see him as a hero. All Might then look at his stepson solemnly before asking if it's because of the civilians criticizing him for his lack of action because his friends are just trying to protect him. After Black Might didn't say a word and keep on looking at the building, Special became worried and was about to beg her son to not change his ways just because of the criticism he's gotten until Black Might put a hand up to silence everyone as The Anti-hero Squad exits the agency. He then asks everyone if they want to help, causing them to look at each other until Stringer say that they'll warn the other heroes, which caused Izu to say fine in a monotone voice before he began getting The Anti-hero Squad's attention as they look at his cold death stare.
