Chapter 141: Message from Hatsume
Meanwhile, back at Heights Alliance Apartments, the babies are in the lobby that somehow got destroy as they look around until Eri gets a flashback of what happened. After the Peanut Gallery left to go to the sit down at Massacre Agency, Mackenzie tries to entertain the babies with music and comedy until she turns around to see the babies missing from her sight, causing her to calm herself down and try to remember the babies' names before looking for them. The babies are Eri, the pure cinnamon roll, Kota, the fanboyish jack of all trades, Seija, the troublemaking tomboy, Saizu, the autistic size-shifter, Buchi, the sassy catgirl, Blaze, the cocky dragon, Masegaki, the spoiled diva, Yu, the aspiring musician, Akuma, the gothic vampire, Inochi, the super strong daredevil, Akane, the idealistic class rep, Pikmin, the comedian/ladies' man, Suzy, the athletic ninja, Hotto, the hot blooded bruiser, Tori, the Christian peacemaker, Kurudo, the cool nerd, Bea, the cheerful artist, Danny, the nonverbal bodyguard, Ai, the ditzy fashionista, Hernome, the cowardly pervert, and finally, Komoria, the generic sorceress. Mackenzie then set off to look for the babies until she managed to find them all. Soon after the babies reveal their quirks to Mackenzie and a few incidents, Mackenzie quickly called Momo to tell her what's happening until Blaze made Saizu cry, which caused him to become a giant much to Mackenzie's shock as she tries to calm Saizu down until she found and give a teddy bear to him. Soon, a montage began has the babies starts walking and began using their quirks recklessly much to Mackenzie's horror until she can't take it anymore and ran away. After the flashback, the babies heard the Peanut Gallery coming home as they pleaded Izu to stop and talk to them for a second, causing Izu to get mad before saying that all he wants is to prove himself as a hero, now all he wants is to live by himself with only Eri by his side, causing his friends to become dismay.
Izu turned around and say that he and his team are home before picking Eri up and telling his friends not to follow him. After Ochaco called Izuku Deku, Izu gets furious and say that his new hero name is Black Might, causing Momo to get mad before asking Izu what's going on with him because he's not acting like the Izu they know and love. Izuku then glared at the floor and clenched his fist as he gets emotional before saying that he doesn't want to talk about it before walking away. however, Momo keep badgering until Izu breaks down until he says that he became Black Might so his friends will stop being overly protective and treating him like a defenseless child, because he's not a defenseless child. Izu then starts crying before running into his apartment and slammed the door shut, leaving his friends feeling guilty. Meanwhile, Izu wipes his tears and watch Eri take control of her quirk before feeding her. Suddenly, Izu heard a rang and turn around to see that the remote is ringing.
After humorously thinking that it's a phone, Izu pressed a button that makes a projector appears from a mysterious box and makes Hatsume appears on the wall. Hatsume then politely greets Izu as he refers him as Black Might, causing Izu to get defensive before Hatsume told him that he wants one for all and he's going to get it one way or another. Izu then told Hatsume that he's not getting it, causing him to laugh and reveal a machine that will blow up the U.A. Apartments unless he comes alone so they can make a deal to make things easier for the both of them, causing Izu to give Hatsume his cold death glare. Hatsume then told Izu that he knows about what he's been through before saying that all his friends wanted to do is to prevent him from being a hero to society before giving him a lecture about how friends can deceive others or outcast them into doing something that they normally do together because they don't fit in anymore. Izu then became suspicious and told Hatsume that he's lying. Soon, Himiko came and ask Izu if he became Black Might to prove everyone that he's not weak or defenseless, causing Izu to think briefly before saying yeah, which also caused Hatsume to put his hands together and told Izu that they can help him fight to make the world a better place because the world of heroes is just corrupted and only they can take it down. Hatsume is then interrupted by Izu, who then chew him out for saying things like that about heroes before saying that this is what makes them villains, and ending it by begging for another way for him to prove to his friends that he doesn't need to be protected, Smothered, or meddled all the time. Hatsume and his comrades then huddle together before whispering until Hatsume turned to Izu and told them that he might have an idea, but he must come alone without anyone knowing, causing Izu to think for a moment as Eri gets his attention before shaking no. Izu then say that he'll be there, causing the Warcraft of Doom to smile evilly before hanging up, which also makes the projector goes back into the box. Izu then sigh and told Eri, Whobert, and Fuego that this is something he must do for himself, that way everyone will see that he's capable enough to fight villains and defend himself, and his friends and family will stop treating him like a defenseless child. He then looks at his Deku costume next to his Black Might costume before tearing up and taking his Black Might outfit. He then flew out of the window afterward to avoid his friends.
