Chapter 203: The party begins
Momo calms everybody down before going through a schedule for the party, which is first, they dance to music, second, they play some party games like duck, duck, goose, and Mario Party, third, it's piñata time before cake, and finally, they do a play called Peter Pan Jr. Izu then smile and say that they should do it, causing Mina to laugh and told him to change from his current clothes first. Afterward, everyone began dancing to music from Big Time Rush, Backstreet Boys, Michael Jackson, Elvis Presley, and Disney before a slow song begins as everyone watch Izu and Ochaco dance to Perfect from Ed Sharron.
Soon, Gentle and Labrava came in just in time as Izu dipped Ochaco to give her a true love kiss before saying happy birthday to him. Izu then gives Gentle and Labrava a hug before they can put his present on a table with the others and join the party. Izu and Tsu then go against each other to try to get an apple into their mouth, which Izu effortlessly won much to everyone amazement as they cheer while Tsu just smiles. The Cadets then made Izu play duck, duck, goose, with them, causing everyone to laugh as Izu chase Eri until he managed to tackle her and pretends to be a monster eating her up. Soon, Izu and his friends plays Mario Party Superstars together, which some of them includes Izu won while most of them let Izu win because it's his birthday.
Soon, it's time to hit the piñata as Ryuku blindfolded him and spun him around so it'll be hard to hit the piñata. After a few misses, Izu finally breaks the pinata and made sugar free candy fell to the ground as the cadets grab some before giving the rest to Izu much to his joy. Eri then asks Akane if Griswell came yet, causing her to say that she doesn't know as she and her fellow cadets became worried about her. Izu then told the cadets to not be glum and enjoy the party. Soon, it's time for the cake as Izu opens his last present before opening it to reveal a thermometer, causing his grandpa to say that it was his after the flu, which also caused Izu to spit it out as Katsuki, Shoto, Tenya, Eijiro, Tsu, Ochaco, and Mina sang happy birthday similar to Madagascar. After everyone cheer for them, Momo look at the cadets, who are looking out a window for their friend Griswell. After the cadets told her that Griswell hasn't come yet and she's one of the main characters of the play, Momo assures them that Griswell will come before telling them to have faith in her because unlike the other cadets in U.A. Academy, she's the only one who will call them her friend. Meanwhile, Griswell herself is on her way with the biggest present ever for Izu. She then rang the doorbell when she finally reached her destination as she says she made it in the third person.
