Chapter 206: Welcome to A-Island
The next day, the U.A. League and Cadet 1a talk to the employee about the project with the commissioner next to him, causing the employee to tell them the Cadet 1a will be living on an island called A-Island. He then explains that it's a man-made island that's rule by a 17-year-old teenager. The island is divided into eight districts with the harbor as the heart of the island. The districts are Smithport, Nature Plains, Mercury Dessert, Snowflake Gorge, Waterfall Resort, Wild Jungle, Minecart Square Cloud Town, and finally, Volcano Ridgeway. Izu then humbly told the employee that he and his comrades talk and decided to let the Cadet 1a participate in the project if they're under their supervision because they would never know if a dangerous villain will try to kill them, causing the employee to try to assure Izu that A-Island is 100% peaceful with no villain incident, the commissioner stopped him before telling the league that he understands before telling them that he'll let the prince know that they will be coming by tomorrow morning, causing the cadets to cheer and hugs the league before noticing Griswell sitting sadly outside. Eri and Kota then walk out to ask Griswell what's wrong, causing her to start crying and say that she'll miss Cadet 1a and the U.A. League, which also caused the duo to look at each other before smiling and ask her if she wants to come with them to A-island. After Griswell say yes and gives her friends a bear hug, Toru shakes the commissioner and employee's hands first as she and her comrades thank them.
That afternoon, the U.A. League and Cadet 1a starts packing their things before heading to Giswell dorm to check if she's all packed up, causing Griswell herself to reveal a suitcase with just one shirt, pants, and underwear, which also caused Izu and Kyoka to give her a deadpan look while everyone else just giggle and shake their head before helping her pack. The next day, the U.A. League say to goodbye to their comrades (including Gentle and Labrava), teachers, and Yagi family before waiting for Cadet 1a, who was helping Griswell carry her things onto a normal plane since they can't take Private Jetcuzzi during the project. Soon, the commissioner reminds the league that they're just staying there until they found some heroes that will take the retired ones' place and everybody on the island is quirkless, causing the league to thank him one last time before joining Cadet 1a and Griswell inside the plane.
Soon, the plane took off as Griswell look out the window to admire the view as Izu listens to the backstreet boys next to Ochaco, who rocks in her seat while making excited noises until Izu calms her down. Meanwhile, one of the pilots noticed that the plane is running out of fuel before telling his copilot, who then quickly say that they should do the emergency procedures, which the pilot agrees. He then asks if they're above A-Island, which caused the copilot to look out the window before saying yep as he picks up the microphone to tell everyone the good and bad news. The good news is that they have reached their destination and they will land very shortly, the bad news is because they're crashlanding. The plane then stops before falling out of the sky much to everyone's horror as the copilots quickly grabs the emergency booklet to start reading. Soon, the pilots managed to land safely on the plane on the runway, causing the U.A. League to be slightly traumatized unlike the cadets as they quickly got out of the plane before Griswell asks the league if they could just use Private Jetcuzzi for now on. Suddenly, the party were greeted by a crowd of islanders who cheers for their arrival. They were then greeted by the prince, who is being carried by a couple of girls. The prince then introduced himself as Prince Ollie before welcoming the party to A-Island, causing the party to thank him for letting them move in before introducing themselves and telling their hero names and quirks. Griswell's hero name is Tweedle, and her quirk is energy expansion. Soon, Ollie offered everyone a tour which caused the party to say ok to as the crowd cheers.
