Chapter 217: Lions, tigers, and bears oh my
Raion told Taz and Kumo to cover Abbigail as Taz uses his super senses for any enemy that's going to stop them from reaching the magic flute until more wild animals tries to attack them again. Kumo then asks Abby what her plan is so they can reach the guardian, causing Abby herself to tell him to calm down and get to the path that will take them to the temple's entrance because she got a plan. Soon, the trio create the furry shield surrounding Abby and prepare themselves to attack anyone that gets near them as they continue moving forward. They were then attacked by wolves, bugs, and snakes as they get close to the path to the magic flute's temple. Suddenly the ground shakes, causing the villains to stop moving as the voice growls angrily.
Raion then smile mischievously before telling the voice to hit them with its best shot because the animals it sent were weakling, causing Kumo and Taz to agree while Abby was working on something. Suddenly a lion came much to the trio surprise, then a tiger, then finally, a bear, which caused the trio to say oh my before starting the fight. Taz then use a super move called demon tornado to easily take down the tiger before helping Raion to defeat the lion with a combo move. Soon, Abby help Taz, Raion, and Kumo defeat the bear before reaching the temple. Abby then uses an invention to blow up the temple door before telling the trio go on ahead while she contacts Hatsume and tell him that they have reached the temple of the magic flute. After Hatsume say ok and good luck to her, Abby flew into the temple and followed the sound of her teachers calling for help, which caused her to fly faster as she dodged every booby trap in the temple until she reached a giant door that mysteriously opens for her.
Abby then quickly ran inside as the voice angrily told her that it warned her and her teachers not to come near the temple, causing Abby to get defensive before telling the voice to show itself and let her teachers go. Suddenly a hairy creature revealed itself before making the ground shake as he angrily told Abby to get out, causing Kumo to asks the creature who he is. The creature then introduced himself as bigfoot the night creature, and he happens to be one of the eight guardians of A-Island. After Abby asks for the U.A. League, Bigfoot told her and teachers that he knows who they are because once someone enters the district, the guardians use special abilities to know their backgrounds and goals, which caused them to become shocked before Abby starts to think of a way to defeat the guardian to steal the magic flute so she and her team can move on to phase 2. Bigfoot then laughs and told Abbigail that he knows what she's thinking before showing off his guardian powers, causing Abby to quickly shield herself before using a move called moonbeam to stun the guardian. Raion, Taz, and Kumo then quickly get out of the ropes they were tied up in and supports Abbigail as Raion told her to relax because the fight for the flute has just begun.
