Chapter 227: Gyojin's big moment
Meanwhile, the villains walked through the passageway cautiously until the trees around them starts moving and tries to attack the villains with plants. However, El Spanito uses his sword to cut the plants before telling Gyojin to teach the guardian of Nature Plains a lesson, causing her to say with pleasure before becoming a giant and uses her strength to knock down the overgrown plants and trees as the ground shakes with her booming footsteps. She then starts holding her breath before using a move called breath gust to blow away the animals that the guardian sent to attack the villains. Gyojin then recalled a flashback before becoming a student of Warcraft Academy, where she has a family who has the same quirk as her. When she was just one year old, her dad was killed by a boy genius who is learning how to be a hero like All Might, which devastated not only her mother, but her big brother, who looks up to him. Gyojin's mother and brother then leaves her with a babysitter named Lydia, who happens to be the same Lydia that's now a teacher of Warcraft Academy, to avenge her dad by becoming associates of All for one and his comrades. However, during the first war, they didn't get a chance to confront Izu because they were killed by heroes. Five years later, the Devil Brats became the new leaders of the organization and built a school rival with U.A. Academy. Ever since the day Lydia told her how her family were killed by heroes, Gyojin been holding grudges against the heroes and willing to do what it takes to make major changes to society, starting with destroying the heroes. The flashback then ends with her and Lydia taking a glimpse look at Izu after the second war when he and the league defeated the Warcraft of Doom. Gyojin then told El Spanito to get on her shoulder so she'll start running, causing El Spanito listen and get on her hand as Abby and Yurei prepares themselves to start flying before Gyojin starts making an earthquake happen just by running through the woods as trees in her path gets knocked down.
Gyojin kept running with a look of determination as Yurei and Abby flew behind her until plant monster captures Yurei, Abby, and El Spanito, causing Gyojin to get mad and start smashing the monster with a nearby tree. A group of savages then appears and try to fight the villains, but Gyojin protected her comrades and managed to kill the savages and make a path for everyone to escape to a fork road, which caused the voice to become furious and make the ground shakes as he warned the villains to not come near the gem to take over the world, or they will be sorry. Yurei then told everyone to keep going because they're not leaving without the legendary plasma gem, causing his comrades to say right as they fight through the woods until they reached the center of the woods.
The villains quickly stood back-to-back as Gyojin, who is still a giant prepares to defend her comrades from anymore threats until roots suddenly rises from the ground and captured Gyojin much to Abby, Yurei, and El Spanito's surprise as the ground shakes again as the voice angrily told the villains that it thought that it told them not to come near the gem. Yurei then noticed the gem near before trying to grab it but suddenly got knocked back by overgrown plants as the gem get sent flying into the air until it landed on the tree that soon reveals its face to the villains. El Spanito then protected Abby and Yurei before asking the tree who it is, which caused the tree to introduce itself as the guardian of Nature Plains named Nature Woods, the living tree. El Spanito then gets defensive and asks Yurei what's the plan now, causing Yurei to remind his teacher that they're not leaving without the gem, so they're going to do the plan that he came up with while Abby was leading her scheme to take over A-Island along with the backup plan that he thought off last night. Nature then laughs before telling the villains that he knows everything about their plan before telling them that if they want to steal the gem to use it for evil, then they are going to take it from his cold dead roots. The villains then gives Nature a cold death glare as they gets ready for a fight.
