Claire had been feeling particularly stressful the last several weeks. Every day presented new challenges and new unexpected issues. Higher ups and investors met with Claire on the regular now that Masrani was off on his extended vacation. Now she had taken on his work he'd left behind including meetings, business approvals, and going through mountains of forms and digitized documents.

She and Ricardo didn't have much time for themselves. He was getting pretty busy too back at Paddock 12. There was more training to be had, more tests to be done, more reports he had to take on for InGen's additional projects. And soon if all went well Ricardo's lions would be the first prehistoric mammals on display for the public at Jurassic World.

Claire loved that his progress was successful. She loved his work initiative and commitment to the assets. As Park Manager she should be proud he was getting work done and that all in all his creatures were doing fine not trying to escape (unlike pesky Pachycephalosaurs…).

And yet… Claire felt so low. Her mood had dropped. She didn't feel as talkative with her coworkers. At the meetings she felt even more irritable, more on edge, more ready to snap at another stupid suggestion for commercializing dinosaurs. When all was done at the end of the day and she was alone in her apartment Claire simply went to bed to try and avoid the growing ache in her chest.

Her dreams were vague and confusing. Geography never making sense in the first place. She'd be flying one minute. The next she'd be with Karen and mom and dad in their house in the country. Then she'd kid again chasing after Earheart through fields as her chubby dog ran after a Triceratops. Then as they caught up Claire realized she was on a beach. She wasnt sure where she was until she spotted an old man in a white suit walking from a jungle.

"Welcome Claire, to Fantasy Island!"

Ah that made sense. She was on Fantasy Island and here was Mr. Rourke to grant her fantasy. Oh no!

"Do not worry your heart. On my island it is my job to deliver your fantasy. Observe:"

He was pointing out to the water. Claire turned to look at what he was pointing at when he saw him. Ricardo was stepping out from under the waves like a dashing man of mystery. He practically glowed against an orange sunset behind him. Claire ran to him to leap in his arms.

And then woke up.

"Wait I walked out of the water? Like a Fabio?"

"I told you it was embarrassing!"

Claire and Ricardo both sat in a jeep driving down the backroads on Isla Nublar. When she woke up she texted Ricardo all the details of her confusing dream. Her boyfriend had been amused ever since.

Today they both managed to have the day off. To Ricardo's surprise, Claire greeted him at his place in one of the jeeps. She was dressed in a green flower skirt and matching tanktop as well as wearing a flower in her hair.

He could have been stupid and said "who are you and what did you do with Claire?". But Ricardo thought Claire looked so beautiful in her outfit. She looked properly relaxed for a change.

She took the wheel and was driving them all across the island away from the tourist areas and worker villages. Ricardo had to admit something about seeing Claire behind the wheel of a jeep like this, her pale arms bare and gripping the wheel, all the while her expression was determined and her lips puckered together, it was a sight that was undeniably cute.

Eventually they made it. Ricardo stepped out of the jeep with a held breath as he marveled at the sight. Before them in the middle of jungle was a rushing waterfall whose height triumphed over the trees. Beneath it was a tiny wide blue lagoon which carried off into a river.

"Whoa… how'd you find this place?"

"I've known about it since I was an intern. Nobody comes here since its so way out. We can enjoy it all to ourselves."

"Yeah." Ricardo smiled staring at the water. He smirked kicking off his boots and pulling off his shirt before making a cannonball into the water.

He burst out of the water with a howl. Ricardo was laughing as he did a backstroke on the water surface. "The water's great Claire! This place rules!"

"It's my favorite place on the island. I haven't been here in years." Claire said as she approached the water. Ricardo floated by her, his eyes closed in relaxation.

Claire took off her blouse and her skirt before taking a leap into the water too. Ricardo blinked as he saw Claire dive below. Luckily she was so pale that he could spot her even in this dark of water. He smirked and dived after her. She was swimming across the lagoon and headed beneath the waterfall before risng up. Ricardo followed suit and emerged on the other side.

The noise was almost deafening when he breached the surface. But Ricardo was taken aback by the large cavern space that was behind the waterfall. It looked much like a tiny cave that went a ways deep. He climbed up and was standing next to Claire who walked deeper into the cavern. She looked back at him, her green eyes filled with playful mirth.

"Well? Wanna see this special hideaway?"

He really began to take in the sight before him. The two standing there in this secret cavern, illuminated by the sunlight shining through the waterfall. Claire standing and watching Ricardo. Her beautiful red hair wet and matted against her from the swim. Her green eyes shimmering from the light. Her gorgeous tall body revealed now more than anyone would ever see in her green bikini.

He'd been staring for a bit. He'd been dating her for months and somehow he always got caught off guard just how cute Claire was.

"I'll follow you anywhere."

Claire didn't mean to laugh. It wasn't really funny. But Ricardo suddenly saying something so serious with his boyish face made Claire feel something allright. And she started to giggle which then turned into her belly laugh that she normally never showed anyone.

But Ricardo didn't care. He started laughing too. Their laughter echoed throughout the cavern in harmony.
