007: Black Ivy: Chapter 6

Our arrival to Dover was a disappointing one. Not for me, I wasn't expecting a parade or people lining the streets cheering. In England, I was a nobody. Just a girl from France. We got yet another train to London. Alex looked disappointed, probably because his family hadn't come out to Dover to meet him.

Maybe they would meet him at the next train stop. I didn't know how I was going to get around and I said the same to Alex. "You will figure it out. I have just got a awesome idea. You should stay with us!" Alex's eyes lit up.

"With you, your dad, mum and brother?" I asked. "No, I don't have parents. Or technically a brother." Said Alex. "I'm an orphan. I was adopted by a woman named Trish. Her husband died two years ago. They adopted me 12 years ago. My brother's name is Jake. He is getting his code name next week. Also, they look nothing like me so don't be surprised." Said Alex.

The train made its way through station through station, but it was finally time to get off. It had been 13 hours since I said goodbye to my mum and got onto the train. It felt so much longer. When we pulled up at the station, Alex breathed a sigh of relief. I could see a woman with crazy frizzy hair and a loose pink sweater and tight blue jeans on.

There was an older man there beside her, with a smooth chin and no stubble, brown hair and grey eyes. He waved at Alex as he got off the train, then gave a puzzled look at me. "Jake." Began Alex, after the woman with the crazy hair released him from a hug, "meet Mathilde Swan."
