Three hours later, the sleeping family finally awoke.

"I know I'm not supposed to talk, but I can't text this." Alec took a deep breath, " Lydia has passed away and she has given me custody of her son Thierry. I know this is a lot to take in and it's more responsibility than we ever thought we'd imagined. But you did say that you wanted to adopt another baby, and we now have one." Alec fidgeted with his hands, Magnus noticing took them into his own.

"Alexander, look at me," he waited for his fiance to look into his eyes and smiled. "First off, I'm so sorry for your friend passing away, I'm truly sorry. I know how close you two were." Magnus wiped Alec's tears away. "I'm ecstatic to raise a baby with you. To actually raise a child together, I can't wait! When will he arrive?" Magnus asked excitedly. In all honesty, Magnus was thrilled. He knew Melissa was going to flip hearing this, but he knew she along with Maryse would go baby crazy.

"Lydia's lawyer is on the way with him now. I'm freaking out because I don't know this person and he has our son!" Alec angrily expressed. Magnus couldn't help but chuckle at the cute pout on Alec's face.

"Well of course darling, but how else was he supposed to get here?" Magnus asked with an eyebrow raised. When Alec gave him a look, he giggled once more. "He will be fine, but we need to tell our family what's about to happen, and then go shopping for our son."

Alec nodded. "First things first," he turned towards Nala, "Hey princess, how do you feel about having a baby brother?" Nala looked up with big wide eyes, "Yes Baby!" She clapped her hands squealing loudly. The couple chuckled. "Well I guess we should go tell the family the news. Also, I have to talk to Luke, the band goes back on tour within a month and you still have your movies and shows to film. I'm trying to remain positive, but we are going to need some serious help." Magnus agreed with his fiancé, they were going to need help. They are so busy with their careers, now putting two kids on the mix, it's going to be stressful. Sighing Magnus kissed Alec sweetly. "We got this baby. I know two people who will be willing to help us."

Alec looked at Magnus, waiting for him to give him the names of the people he trusted so that Alec could have his lawyers run background checks on them. Sue him, Alec doesn't trust people easily. "Their names are Kevin Turner and Jacob Lewis. They're professional caretakers, they are out of work and are close friends of mine. I can give them a call later and have them flown out here to meet everyone." Alec nodded, picking up his phone to send his lawyer a text to do background checks on both men. He wants his children to be in a safe house. Can't trust people these days.

"Okay let's go tell everyone the news. Can you tell them please? I don't want to get slapped for speaking." Magnus cut up at that, because it was the truth. His family would go ape shit if he opened his mouth to ask for anything. Magnus held Nala as they walked out of the room. Their families were sitting at the table eating breakfast.

"Morning boys and Nala. Food is on the stove." Maryse says, greeting her babies. Nala wiggled out of Magnus's grip to get to her grandmother. Rolling his eyes at his daughter, Alec sat at the bar trying to calm his heartbeat and anxiety. He took a few deep breaths to calm his rapid heartbeat. Once he was calm enough, Alec signaled for Magnus to tell the family. Nodded, Magnus turned to tell everyone the news after placing a couple of honey and ginger water in front of Alec. Along with his medication.

"Family, I have some news for you all." Everyone stopped eating to pay attention to Magnus. He got nervous so he took hold of Alec's hand giving it a quick squeeze. "Alexander's friend Lydia passed away last night, but before she passed she contacted Alec, giving him full custody of her son. Who is on the way right now with Lydia's lawyer."

Maryse was in utter shock. Lydia was like a third daughter to her before the family moved away. "How?" She looked towards Alec. He shook his head, not wanting to answer the question. Her son was trying so hard to hold in his tears. She knew it was because he didn't want to frighten Nala. She watched Magnus take her son into his arms, trying his best to console his fiance. "What's the lawyers name and number? I need to contact him immediately. I would like to know how my grandchild is holding up. Also, we need to go shopping. How old is he?" Alec smiled at his mother, thankful that she accepted Thierry already. Taking his phone from his pants pocket, Alec handed it to his mother so she could read the messages.

"Also while we're at it. Alec you need to get both Nala and Thierry citizenship in New Zealand since I know you spend a lot of time here. Magnus you too. I don't mean to put pressure on you, but you guys really have to think about where you're going to live. But we can get to that another day." Alec already knew this, he already applied for everything.

"I'm sorry this happened Alec, but I know you will be the best father to this child like you are with Nala and if you need any help, just ask." Robert hugged his son tightly. Everyone knew how close Lydia and Alec were. Camille was crying. Huge crocodile tears. She too loved Lydia, they all grew up together after all. Alec wanted to hug his friend, but he didn't want to get her sick. So he pushed Magnus towards her to hold her until she stopped crying. Whatever he whispered in Camille's ear helped because she was laughing hard. Ragnor took Magnus's place so he could get back to Alec.

"How are you guys going to make this work? With you both having different schedules. Is this going to cause problems?" Kemeela asked. Already thinking about volunteering her time to help take care of her great grandchildren. Anthony too wanted to be around this beautiful family.

Alec shook his head no and Magnus agreed. "No, Alexander is on break from tour for another month. Though I have to get back to filming, flying back and forth is no problem whatsoever. Also I have texted Kevin and Jacob to see if they would be able to help."

"Oh please," scoffed Maryse. "You two can manage this without the help of strangers. I have faith in the two of you. Also, you have family members that are willing to help you out whenever you need it." Everyone agreed though Kemeela voiced she would love to help them with the babies.

"Well since we are on the subject of babies." Maia says, "Clary and I found out that we are three weeks pregnant." Everyone aside from Alec was shocked. No Alec jumped from his chair to hug them both tightly. He completely forgot he wasn't supposed to touch them but he couldn't help it. They laughed as he jumped up and down. He opened his mouth to speak, they both slapped him upside the head.

"Don't you dare open your mouth!" They shouted together. Simon and Jace pushed him out of their way so they could celebrate with their girlfriends. Luke was crying. His babies were growing up. It was too much.

"Awwww, I'm going to be the best uncle ever!" Max shouted, ignoring the protest in the room. He and Nala were sitting in the living room playing with the puppies.

"Okay, I'm going to call the label to let them know you guys need more rest. I know you have one more month before the tour starts back up, but with Maia and Clary now being pregnant, we need to change some things." Luke says to the band as he sends messages to the label. "Tour buses will be upgraded, I can't have you two sleeping on those bunks. Though I wish you guys brought a tour bus like Alec did months ago."

Magnus looked at his fiance, "You have your own tour bus?" Alec nodded and smiled. He bought it because at one point, his family was going to travel with him on the road. It was a two bedroom luxurious motorhome that was getting remodeled to fit his style. So sometime next year it will be done and ready for a test run. He will be taking his family on a vacation once they get a real break.

"Dude! You bought a freaking tour bus without letting us know? Not cool." Jace complained, he wanted his own tour bus too.

"Well maybe if you weren't so worried about useless things, maybe you would have things like tour busses." Luke rolled his eyes at his son. Honestly, Jace could learn so much from Alec. Alec is smart, he invests in a lot of things. Like his many properties. The kid is a billionaire already and he's not even twenty five.

"Okay, well how do we go about buying a tour bus?" Asked Simon. He honestly wanted to know because he wanted his fiancé to travel comfortably. Though it was going to be sad not being with his other band mates, the thought of having their own personal buses made touring much more fun. They could even invite their own families to travel with them. Yes, having their own bus would make things better.

"We will contact the company Alec bought his from. They have plenty and can remodel them to your preference. Once I get done with the label, we can give them a call." Luke walks away to have a much needed conversation with the label.

"Have you girls made doctor's appointments?" Asked Melissa.

"Yes, we are going to a doctor out here before returning back to New York. We just want to make sure everything is alright and get our prenatal vitamins." Maia answers before taking more bacon from the stove. The women sat together making plans about what store they were going to stock up on baby clothes whilst Alec sat quietly eating his food before leaving to shower for the day.

His son was due to arrive in one day….. Things had to be perfect.
