"Why don't you eat something?" Athena asked gesturing for the plate and Buck tensed up beside her

"Nah that's okay, I'm not really hungry" he responded not even looking at the plate but just then his stomach rumbled betraying him

"I think you're stomach is disagreeing with you" Athena laughed a little to forced

"It's fine it's no so long ago I last ate" Buck said still very tensed but trying to shrug it of

"Oh yes it is, Hen told me you came here before dinner last night and was still asleep when she left, so I know for a fact you didn't have either dinner or breakfast yet, and looking at that coffee next to you you haven't had anything to drink either" Athena said sternly in a don't argue with me sort of tone

"I don't really drink coffee anymore" Buck shrugged

"Then we'll get you something else, tea maybe?" Athena asked all motherly

"No I mostly just drink water now a days" Buck said, making sure not to make eye contact with Athena out of fear she might see right through him

"Fine I'll get you some water, but then you have to eat something" Athena said sternly, in that way that left no room for argument

"I can't" Buck just whispered giving up

"Why not" Athena pushed

"I just can't" Buck shrugged and continued to look down

"Are you sick?" Athena asked, worried her baby was hiding more from her, Buck snapped his head up

"No I'm perfectly healthy" Buck said surprised, which had Athena laugh without any humor then become dead serious

"You don't look healthy baby" she said concerned and Buck looked down at his feet again

"I am" he whispered

"Then why won't you eat?" Athena pushed

"I just can't" Buck said

"Why not?" Athena kept pushing and Buck knew there was no getting out of this either

"Because it's the last control I have" he whispered

"Oh baby" Athena said with tears in her own eyes now hugging Buck again, this time to comfort herself

At the station Bobby was sitting in his office wrapped up in last nights fight with Athena going over in his head

"How could you do that to him? He who only looked up to you as a father"

"It's not like that, I needed to teach him some respect"

"Yeah, and how is that going?"

"You don't understand"

"What? What don't I understand"

"I have to protect him"

"Protect him. PROTECT HIM."

"Athena you have to understand"

"Oh I'm understanding quiet well, you're bullying him because you feel hurt over the lawsuit"

"It's not about that and I don't know what he has said but I'm not bullying him"

"No, then what are you?"

"I'm protecting him"

"No you're making him your errand boy"

"Athena if you would just listen to what I'm trying to say"

"I can't. I can't cause right now another one of my babies is laying wishing he was dead and this time it's because of you"

"No"

"And have you even seen him lately, like really looked at him, he is all skin and bones"

Just then a knock on the door brought him back

"Come in" Bobby said and straightened up in his chair to look professional again. "Ah Hen what brings you here?" Bobby smiled

"How's it going Cap?" Hen said with a sad smile

"I don't know Hen" He breathed out, Hen just nodded in understanding

"She'll come around" Hen said comfortingly, even though she herself wanted to scream at Bobby for letting Buck down like this, she knew better

"How's Buck doing?" Bobby asked

"I don't know" Hen sighted. "Karen is keeping an eye on him and Athena promised to stop by the house as well during the day, but none of them have texted me, which I guess is a good sign" Hen said. Then the bell sounded and they were running to their gear
