Eddie was walking around the station aimlessly trying to sort through all the information he had received about Buck and the state of which said man had been in when they found him, could he really have been so blinded by his own anger and hurt that he didn't see how far out Buck had gotten? He knew this wasn't just something that happened over night, how long had it been going on? What else had he been to blind to see? Had he really been that horrible to Buck?

"Eddie?" Hen asked, looking at him, Eddie didn't respond. "Eddie" she tried again softly, but still no response

"Yo Diaz" Chimney called out to him

"What?" Eddie asked confused looking at Chimney

"Are you okay man" Chimney asked

"Am I okay? We just responded to one of our own having a heart attack, we just responded to Buck having a heart attack and being skinny as shit, like an actually freaking skeleton, and then I learned that he… that he… Oh dios perdoname" Eddie said and then looked back at Chimney. "Am I okay? No I'm not okay, how can any of us be okay right now?" Eddie said

"We're gonna see him later in the hospital, I'm sure he would like you to come" Hen said laying a comforting hand on Eddie's shoulder

"I can't. I can't look at him and know that I'm partly responsible for that, not right now" Eddie said, looking down ashamed. No one said anything

Buck for obvious reasons wasn't there on the next shift the next day, and for the first time since he came back everyone felt the missing of his presence, it was like that call the day before had been a wake up call to those who hadn't made their peace with Buck yet. Eddie looked like he hadn't slept at all and was ready to fight anyone who came too close to him, spending most of the downtime in the training area working out, nobody knew how to approach him. Bobby was unusually quiet and sad, even for a man a few words this was unusual. Hen and Chimney watched as the pressed atmosphere of the station became more and more pressed as the hours went by, there weren't many calls that day to distract them either.

"So any news on how Buck is doing?" Hen asked Chimney

"No" Chimney sighed and looked at his phone for who knows which time that day. There was a long silence between them. "This sucks" Chimney said

"Yeah I know" Hen said looking around the station

"We need to do something, talk about this, come up with a plan" Chimney said

"Yeah I know what you mean" Hen sighed and then looked at Eddie who was in the middle of another boxing session and at Bobby who sat at his office just staring out into space. "So how do you wanna do this?" Hen asked looking at Chimney

"I have absolutely no idea" Chimney said

Bobby was sitting in his office going over everything that had transpired the last few days, he had to fix this but didn't really know how. It was clear that however much they wanted Buck at the firehouse, and however much the kid felt like he needed to be there, now was not a good time for him to be here, his health had to come first and right now the kid wasn't at all healthy. Bobby was debating whether to bring this to the higher ups without talking to Buck about it first, but he made that mistake last time he needed to do better this time around, he had to talk to the kid, make him see that it was for the best and that when time came there would always be a spot for him at the 118, but to not rush things for now. Bobby sighed, he knew what he had to do but he felt crappy about it, this was Buck afterall, and what if it just had the kid spiral even further to the point where they lost him completely, maybe it was better to have him around where they could at least keep an eye on him. Bobby sighed again this time unsure of what he had to do, but he knew one thing that no matter what the decision that Buck had to be in on it, no leaving him out and behind again
