Athena tried next to talk to Eddie, but he was a brick wall talking to, and much like with Hen he mostly kept training, this time lifting weights. Athena tried with some small talk to begin with, but much like Hen quickly gave up on that approach and started coming more directly at Eddie

"You have to go talk to him, this isn't healthy for any of you" Athena argued

"I'm fine" Eddie said, while not at once leaving his training to be

"Are you now? Listen Eddie you're training every available moment and distancing yourself from everyone, and I'm just going out on a hunch here saying you haven't once gone to see Buck or even spoken to him since that day at Hen's house" Athena said in her most motherly tone

"Yeah well maybe I haven't, who cares" Eddie grumpled

"Well I care, I care about you and I care about Buck, and what you said to him yeah that hurt him, which is why you need to go fix this before it's too late" Athena said

"Whatever" Eddie said. Athena had to leave before she said or did something she would regret later, cause at that moment she felt like smacking Eddie on the back of his head to knock some sense into him, or scream at him that it was his damn fault and that he needed to suck it up himself like he had told Buck and man up and talk to his best friend, but she knew it wasn't gonna make Eddie wanna go, or make him see their point, so she left.

"Hey Maddie" Chimney said with a smile into the phone, he loved talking to Maddie

"Hey Chimney" Maddie said, but Chimney could hear the sadness in her voice

"How's everything going?" Chimney asked, his own smile fading from listening to Maddie's sadness, he always felt bad for not being there when he could hear she was sad

"Fine" Maddie said, but she didn't sound like everything was going fine

"Buck has had a relapse" Chimney guessed, it was a statement not a question

"Yeah" Maddie cried. "He got up in the middle of the night to go for a run, and I haven't been able to get him to eat or drink anything besides water all day" Maddie cried

"It sucks" Chimney stated

"Yeah" Maddie confirmed sadly

"I wish there was more we could do to help him" Chimney said

"Yeah I know what you mean" Maddie said

Christopher was smiling happily when Eddie came home, Eddie tried to smile back but it was like every smile Christopher sent him, just reminded him more of the hurt he had caused both Buck and Christopher. Christopher's smile never faded from the time Eddie walked through the door and until he was put in bed, it just had Eddie feeling even worse about himself.

"Dad, do you think Buck is feeling better soon and can come visit?" Christopher asked Eddie, as Eddie was about to walk out the door after tugging Christopher in

"I don't know mío, maybe" Eddie said, knowing it was a lie

"He promised he would come and play when he felt better" Christopher said, this had Eddie stop and turn to look at him

"You've seen him? When?" Eddie said in a tone that was a little to sharp

"Are… Are you mad at me daddy?" Christopher's eyes started to water up

"No mío no of cause not" Eddie said promptly after realising his mistake

"But… but you sounded mad, did I say something wrong?" Christopher asked, still on the brink of tears

"No mío no, I was just surprised" Eddie said hastily

"But you sounded mad" Christopher said, drying his eyes with the back of his hand

"I'm sorry mío, I shouldn't have" Eddie apologised. "When did you see Buck?" Eddie asked a little more gently this time

"At school, he was running and… and I called out to him" Christopher said, hiccuping a little still startled by Eddie's initial reaction

"Okay mío, that's nice that you saw Buck" Eddie said, trying to hide his anger at the fact that one of Buck's runs had brought him to Christopher school, for Christopher to have seen him in that state

"Yeah" Christopher smiled happily again. "He said he had missed me, and that I hadn't done something wrong, but that he wasn't feeling any better he was just out for air" Christopher explained happily

"That's nice mío" Eddie said, he was glad that it didn't seem to have scared Christopher how Buck was looking, but he was still angry at Buck for running in front of Christopher's school, but maybe it was time he talked to Buck
