Bella's Fanfiction: A Chandlure Trainez Twilight One Shot
By Chandlure Trainez
With a heavy sigh, Edward opened the door to the Cullen mansion. He was returning from dropping Bella off at the police station where she would be helping her father for the day. A consequence of staying out too late Thursday evening. He was frustrated with the restrictions but knew it best to obey them.
"Henry's breath caught in his throat upon hearing the words leave her lips. He attempted to grasp Sophia's hands, but his reach was clumsy in his haste, and he ended up grabbing hold of her wrists instead — much harder and bruising than he meant to."
Edward paused with his hand hovering over the hook where he placed his keys, eyebrows furrowing in confusion.
"He lightened his grip and opened his mouth to tell her that he loved her back. To finally admit his feelings to her now that he knew they were reciprocated when his eyes landed on Sophia's mouth. It was twisted into a grimace. Her beautiful lips pulled thin as she attempted to pull her wrist out of his gras —"
"What are you reading?" Edward asked, walking to the couch and peering down at Alice, Emmett, and Jasper. They were seated on the floor, with Alice in the middle. In her hands, she clenched a red ratted notebook that looked suspiciously like the one Bella carried around but never let him see. He couldn't remember the last time he had seen the three so engaged.
"Bella writes porn!" Emmett exclaimed, a huge lascivious smile crossing his face.
"I wouldn't necessarily call it porn," Alice defended. "Erotica... yes, but she never crosses the line into pornography."
"What?" Edward quickly scanned their thoughts, but nothing he saw made a lick of sense.
There was a brown-haired girl stuck in a dark, dingy cellar with a vampire that appeared to be mocking her. He would disappear and then reappear by her ear, quickly whispering something before disappearing again. The vampire was a black-haired man with ridiculously long fangs and flashing red eyes.
"Bella writes erotic fanfiction, and she is surprisingly good at it." Jasper supplied when he felt the frustration begin to build up in Edward.
"Can we get back to reading?" Alice asked, her voice barely hiding her irritation. "We were just getting to the good part!"
Edward reached down and plucked the tattered book from Alice's grip, thankful that she released her hold before it was destroyed. "This is Bella's private business. You shouldn't be reading it." He scolded, holding the notebook to his chest.
"But it's fascinating!" Alice said, a barely-there whine evident in her voice. "She wrote about James and what happened in Phoenix."
Edward furrowed his brow and opened up the notebook, scanning several pages. What he read confirmed her words as scenes that paralleled what happened with James passed his eyes.
Jasper eyed him, obviously sensing his anxiety spike. He sent a wave of calm towards him and smiled. "As you can see, she's taken a lot of creative licenses." He shrugged his shoulders. "She's dealing with the trauma healthily— I was worried about her for a while."
He didn't need to tell Edward how badly things may have ended if Bella were just suppressing what happened. Humans simply didn't have the capacity to repress something like that without it eventually coming out in disastrous ways.
Jasper leaned his cheek on a closed fist and eyed the notebook in Edward's hand thoughtfully. "As for the erotica part, little darlin' has talent. I now understand what I've been feeling from her. I thought you were keeping things from us, but it turns out that she merely has been dealing with her sexual frustration in a rather creative way."
Before Edward could open his mouth to retort, Alice jumped in. "Edward, please, can we please read some more? We just got up to the part where Henry Hemlock finds out Sophia was keeping something from him about the kidnapping!"
"This is Henry Hemlock fanfiction?" Edward asked, bemused. Edward wasn't too familiar with series outside of what he heard in the minds of teenage girls and from Alice. Still, he vaguely recalled a series that followed a vampire who traveled from place to place with a female companion on a boat solving crimes— maybe he was a pirate detective? It was something a bit out there.
"And she's amazing at it!" Alice gushed, clapping her hands together. "I hadn't known until I read what was in the notebook, but she's one of my favorite writers for the series! I've been following her for years. " Alice pouted, her eyes pleading. "Please, Edward. I don't want to have to wait another two weeks for the new chapter to come out!" She glowered at him then, her eyes flashing. "It's the least you can do."
"What do you mean?" Edward snapped, glaring down at his sister.
"She used to update weekly! Now we are lucky to get an update once a month ."
"You can't possibly blame me for that!" he scoffed with a roll of his eyes.
Alice pointed the finger at him. "I most certainly can, mister. Bella started posting only once a month after she started dating your stalking ass!"
Edward rolled his eyes and glanced down at the notebook against his chest. He weighed his options before he breathed heavily through his nose in defeat. "Are you sure this is something that'll be published in a few weeks and not some private journal?"
Alice nodded enthusiastically, her entire demeanor changing when she sensed she would get her way. "Definitely, it starts where June's chapter leaves off."
Edward knew he would likely regret his following action but handed over the book to his squealing sister. He sat down on the rug beside her and raised an eyebrow expectantly. "Well, go on."
"What's wrong with your wrist?" Henry demanded, his azure eyes narrowing at the sight of her pained expression. He relinquished his hold, allowing her to slide her wrist from his hand.
Sophia held the injured wrist to her chest, squeezing it through the fabric of Henry's leather jacket. She turned away from him, unable to meet his eyes. "It's nothing," she said with a shake of her head. "It's just a bit sore from earlier."
"Why does it hurt?" he demanded. "Let me see it."
"It's fine," Sophia responded as she pulled his jacket cuff further past her fingers. "There's nothing to worry about."
Henry had both of her hands in his grasp before he knew what he was doing. Slowly, he brought them to his face and took in a deep, long sniff. He dragged his nose across her wrists and… there! The familiar scent of sweet rot and woods — Jeffery's scent clung cloyingly to her right wrist. It was faint through the material of his jacket but unmistakable. Henry pried her uninjured hand off and pulled up the coat sleeve, ignoring her angry protests.
Henry growled at the sight that met his eyes, his azure eyes turning black around the edges as anger washed over him.
"What was it you said about Bella?" Jasper drolled. "'Don't worry about Bella. She can be exceptionally unobservant'? "
"I can confirm Bella has gotten a lot better at describing vampires and their actions, and she wasn't exactly shabby in that department before," Alice commented. "She bases Henry a lot more after you now, which, ew, thanks for ruining that for me—"
Edward scoffed and sneered at his sister. "If it disgusts you so much, maybe we should stop reading?"
"NO!" Alice hugged the notebook to her chest and growled dangerously.
"Tame your rabid wife," Edward muttered jokingly to Jasper, who merely shrugged, a small smile playing on his lips.
"But, dude, Alice is right!" Emmett leaned forward, pressing his hands against the table so he could lean closer to him. "You are totally this Henry guy: overbearing, jealous, and never letting anything go!"
"The resemblance is uncanny."
"He isn't anything like me." Edward protested vehemently. "I would never treat her like that!"
His siblings snorted.
"Shall we list the ways?"
"For one, you stalked her, almost constantly," Jasper said with a raise of his eyebrow. "And when she wasn't around, you followed her through other people's minds."
"I stopped once she told me to!" Edward protested.
"True, but you ignored her until some boys asked her to a dance, then you got so jealous that you decided the danger you posed to her wasn't an issue anymore." Alice pointed out. "Even though I told you to get closer to her months before."
"Let's not forget you're controlling," Emmett added.
Alice and Jasper hummed in agreement but didn't offer any more commentary. He was well aware of their views on his behavior at this point.
"Just read," Edward growled.
"Okay— Henry. " Alice quickly put her head down and began to read before he decided to take the notebook away from her again.
"Sophia," he talked slowly, obviously trying to control the anger that deepened his voice. "When I asked if you were okay, you didn't say that Jeffery drank from you — why not?"
Sophia sighed heavily, unable to meet his eyes. "To what end? Telling you would have only upset you more, and it doesn't hurt, so there wasn't a need to worry you needlessly."
"And that's Bella! She hides things from you because she knows it'll upset you, and you'll blow it out of proportion!" Emmett said, slapping his hand on the table. The wood cracked, and everyone groaned. That'll be another week of grounding.
"Sit on the couch!" Alice said, shooing her eldest brother off the floor and away from the table. Maybe they can convince Esme it was an accident if he didn't make it any worse.
"Okay, okay!" Emmett moved to sit on the couch, leaning his elbows on his knees so that he could read over Alice's shoulder.
"You were correct."
Henry didn't release her wrist, his fingers clenched tightly above the two minor wounds. He was perfectly still, with his eyes focused on the floor as he forced himself to work through the feelings raging through him. He was almost overwhelmed, filled with so many conflicting urges and desires that he didn't know what to focus on first.
Should he track down Jeffery and rip him limb from limb for having the audacity, the absolute gall, to drink from his ma —... friend?
Should he first smother Sophia in his scent, his aura? Lick her skin and breathe her air and taste her blood until all traces of Jeffery's violation were utterly obliterated?
He wasn't sure. All he knew was that he wanted to yell and rage at Sophia for hiding something so important from him.
He wanted to squeeze her tightly to his chest and stroke her hair, and promise that he would never allow harm to become her again.
He wanted to flee to the deepest depths of the forest and find solitude in the night, where the unfamiliar vortex of emotions that flooded him couldn't reach him.
Edward gasped, his eyes widening in shock. 'How could she have possibly known?' He thought to himself. Sure, he explained to her, once or twice, what went through his head during those times when his emotions, usually anger, filled his body to the point where he couldn't think straight. But, he didn't believe that she could understand, genuinely comprehend what was happening to him during his silent battles.
It seems like he, once again, had underestimated her.
"I would have told you if he had hurt me. I don't even think he drank from me." Sophia was almost stammering in her haste to explain, watching him with wide eyes.
Henry screwed his eyes shut, paralyzed by the force of his clashing desires. He let out a shuddering breath before he dropped his head to her exposed forearm. He hissed. The action had allowed the scent of Jeffery's violation to overcome him. He swallowed the venom that rushed into his mouth as one desire rose above the rest. The desire to claim, the physical need sweeping through him and taking him completely by surprise.
He pulled away and dropped Sophia's arm. He straightened, swallowing harshly against the venom and breathing heavily through his nose as he tried to control his urge to claim her.
Edward always thought that he was offending her somehow, but no, she understood, and this was her way of processing it, of helping her cope with everything unorthodox in their relationship. That was something Edward could accept. It was much better than her ignoring their vast differences or not caring about them like he had feared she was doing.
Sophia's eyes were heavy with worry as she studied his face. Henry scoffed, unable to understand exactly what was going through her head. She was worried about him after a vampire had kidnapped and bit her. Rather than run away from him, which she absolutely should be doing, because he was a monster and one of his kind had hurt her, she was concerned about him.
He gasped as an overwhelmingly strong love for Sophia filled him, the force of it superseding his need to claim her. It was so strong, it staggered him with its power. He raised his hands and cupped her face in his palms, his eyes drinking in the sight of Sophia's eyes as they widened in surprise and anticipation.
"Sophia. I've been alive for over two hundred years, and I've never liked most people, let alone ever loved anyone." He paused, trying to figure out how best to word what he wanted to say. "And then you show up, and you weren't scared away — you jumped onto that boat and left with me, without any hesitation! And you… you just care so much about me ." Henry paused, unable to hold back his own smile as one crossed her lips. "Sophia…"
"Henry?"
"I love you."
"Aww," Alice cooed. "That's so sweet."
Emmett snickered. "Really? Because to me, even when she puts it like that, the 100-year-old virgin schtick is still lame."
Edward knew that Emmett was joking, but he still growled low in his throat in warning.
Sophia gasped, her eyes opening impossibly wide, and then her knees sagged, and Henry had to take her into his arms to keep her from falling. He held her tightly to his chest, buried his face into her hair as he took in her scent.
He moved them to the couch in his study, sitting down and arranging her on his lap so that she was cuddled against his chest. He shivered as her shaking fingers slid up his shoulder and buried themselves in the hair at the nape of his neck.
Henry nudged her head with his, smiling down at her in wonderment. Sophia brought her hand forward and brushed the bangs off his forehead. When her wrist floated past his face, it brought with it the sweet rotten woodsy scent of Jeremy, and Henry's need to claim what was his pulsed firmly in his body.
Edward closed his eyes tightly and counted slowly back from ten. This scene was mirroring their first time back in the meadow since returning from Phoenix. He could see it clearly. His dark, hungry expression reflecting back at him through her chocolate-colored eyes. Him straightening and lifting her, moving Bella so that her knees were on either side of his thighs.
Bella teasing him by pressing her body to his and leaving her lips mere centimeters above his own.
Him nuzzling her neck and jaw, pressing his lips against the skin behind her ear as he admitted fervently that he hated the thought of James' hands on her. How he wanted no one to ever touch her again but him.
He could all but feel her body against his as the memory of him running a hand down her thigh and pulling her impossibly closer, bucking into her heat, had overtaken him.
Edward's eyes shot open when he felt the venom in his system rushing through his body, tightening his nipples and crotch with arousal. He cursed under his breath and shifted in his seat, hoping to get his body under control.
You okay there, Edward? Jasper asked him teasingly in his mind.
Edward nudged him with his shoe and scowled, causing the empath to chuckle in amusement at his brother's expense.
"You are mine, aren't you, Sophia?" Sophia nodded frantically, and Henry grinned against the side of her head, his teeth aching with the urge to claim her. "Say it."
"I… I'm yours."
"Yes, mine. Yes," Henry murmured against the skin of her neck. He gently pushed Sophia back to sit up straight and settle more comfortably on his thighs. He grasped Sophia's wrist and brought it up to his mouth.
It was official, Bella was going to be the death of him. He would be the first vampire to die of arousal.
He remembered it with picture-perfect clarity. Bella saying she was his, him pushing up the sleeve of his jacket and running his tongue over the puncture wounds that James had left on her soft skin. Her sucking in a breath as he slowly and thoroughly lapped across the injury, leaving only his scent behind and the wound itself. That would remain forever, even when… if Bella was to be changed.
He leaned his head back and allowed the memory to wash over him as he substituted what Alice was reading with what really happened.
Bella's pupils were dilated, her breathing fast and deep, her heart rate elevated. He could remember her heartbeat, the sound of her blood rushing through her veins. He remembers the urge, can even feel it now, to take her, claim her, to taste every last part of her skin, sweat, and blood.
Bella had pressed her forehead to his and met his burning gaze with one of his own and asked if she could kiss him. She hadn't needed to. He would have given her anything at that moment.
His voice had never been so desperate as when he had said 'please.'
The kiss had been soft, gentle, beautiful. The tender caress of Bella's warm lips against his, the comforting smells of lavender and white freesia filling his senses. Edward vaguely remembered the soft high grunt that left him when he pressed his lips more firmly against Bella's. Remembered the feeling of wanting more, wanting the delightful smell and taste of her fill him.
She had moaned against his mouth, and suddenly he had wanted more, so much more. For the first time, he had allowed his tongue to slip out and drag across Bella's lower lip. Immediately, her lips had parted for him, and he'd pushed his tongue into the warm space of her mouth. The memory of the hot, slick sensation of Bella's tongue caressing his made him want nothing more than to taste Bella's mouth at that moment.
Edward took a deep, shuddering breath, swallowing hard against the venom filling his mouth. His teeth tingled, and his fists clenched in his lap as the memory overwhelmed him.
She had left some things out— whether this was because the human mind was flawed, or because she wanted to keep some of their moment just for them, Edward couldn't say.
"Huh," Emmett said, eyeing his brother. "So his dick does work."
"I will kill you," Edward said through gritted teeth. He shook the memories from his mind and focused on the words as they flowed from Alice's lips.
But then Sophia leaned closer, pressing her mouth harder against Henry's, thrusting her tongue forward between his lips, and all rational thought fled.
Her hands had come up and gripped hard in his hair, her tongue invading his mouth like the Huns had invaded Rome — quick and devastating. She was careful, only just once scraping her tongue against the side of his canines, but the resulting jolt of pleasure and arousal that washed through him obliterated what little self-control he had left.
He pulled Sophia to him and sucked hard on her tongue as he pressed her down upon him until his erection was nestled between her soft thighs.
Sophia bucked against him, tightening her thighs around Henry's hips and grinding her slick hot core against his erection. She whimpered into his mouth and writhed above him as Henry thrust up into her.
He arched his back so that not a millimeter of space was between their bodies. He could hardly suppress his gasp when he was rewarded with a series of thrusts from the woman above him.
Edward had slipped his hands under her shirt then, caressing her stomach, back, and ribs as the smell of her arousal washed over him. He smiled to himself as he remembered her gasp at the feel of him and how she encouraged it further by quickening the movements in his lap. He could still hear her breathy pleas when he reached his limit and how he almost let her push him further.
Dread filled his body as he remembered what happened next, as he realized what was in store for Sophia and Henry. Henry wouldn't be strong enough to continue, just like Edward hadn't been strong enough.
Sophia broke away from Henry's mouth and threw her head back, exposing her long pale throat to him. Henry's mouth watered at the sight, and before he knew what he was doing, he brought his face down, opened his mouth, and pressed his teeth to Sophia's neck.
Alice gasped and looked over to him, "You didn't!" She stared at him with wide, accusatory eyes.
Edward felt as if he were plunged into the most frigid water that existed. "I stopped myself," He whispered, shaking his head. "I didn't… I didn't bite her."
And he hadn't. He had become aware of himself and pushed her off him, putting several yards between them. He fought for control over his baser instincts, something which he had almost lost against when she had given him a slow, shy smile from where he had dropped her.
Edward was regretting letting his siblings continue reading, the feeling of self-loathing strong. He took a deep breath to get his emotions under control.
"Henry, that was… what's wrong?" she asked, becoming visibly concerned as she took in Henry's expression.
"Sophia, I don't think I can do this," Henry managed to say, swallowing hard against the venom in his mouth. Sophia's face fell, her expression crumbling into sadness at his words.
"Oh, Henry, I'm sorry. I'll stop. I hadn't meant to push you so hard. I know this isn't something you usually do. We don't have to… I can stop…," Sophia babbled, flushing a deep red. She stood and took a step toward Henry, who took a quick step back. Sophia froze.
Edward couldn't help but smile, remembering how Bella had apologized to him. He had told her then that she never had to apologize for wanting him. That he should be apologizing to her for not being strong enough to give her what she wanted, what he wanted.
"No, Sophia, stop. It's not that. I want to, as well, but... God, how I want to," Henry said, his voice deeper than usual in his arousal. Sophia visibly relaxed at Henry's words.
"Then why?"
"I'm afraid I won't be able to… you're just so tempting. I can't control myself."
"I don't want you to control yourself, Henry," Sophia said, her voice earnest, looking directly into Henry's eyes. "I've wanted this for so long. You have no idea. I don't want self-control, and you don't have to be careful. I want you to take me."
It had been the first time he felt comfortable being vulnerable enough to admit that everything they did, felt overwhelming.
However, she had been able to soothe his fears somehow. Bella had told him that he was so overwhelmed because he always felt the need to be in control and that they, perhaps, should take power away from him.
Edward shivered as he remembered her hand running down his chest and stomach, pressing against his abdomen as she whispered hotly in his ear that she could handle him. And promising that they would stop if he felt himself losing control in a wrong way. "However, if it's in a good way..." She pressed her chest against his and nipped at his ear, "Then we keep going." Her voice had been sultry and seductive. Even now, Edward could feel her teeth against his lobe as she practically moaned the words into his ear.
"I want that, I want to. But I… God, I want to taste you. I can hear your blood, smell it, feel it pulsing beneath my fingers when I touch you. I want to taste it, and I don't know if I can stop myself." Henry looked helplessly at Sophia as he spoke, the desire he felt warring with his fear of hurting Sophia, of finally scaring her off.
"I know you won't hurt me. I trust you, Henry."
"You shouldn't."
"Maybe not," Sophia said with a smile and a shrug. "But I do."
"Sophia, you don't understand what it's like. I'm trying, but I don't know if I can resist. I don't even trust myself. We can't do this."
"No, Henry, you don't understand," Sophia continued, her expression unchanged. "I'm saying it's fine. You don't need to take much, right? So go ahead and bite me. Drink my blood."
"Christ, Sophia," Henry breathed. Hearing those words come out of Sophia's mouth sent a bolt of desire slamming through him, making his cock pulse, venom flood his mouth, and his teeth ache. "You have no idea what you're saying."
"I want you. I want every crazy bizarre, infuriating part of you, even this part. Drink from me, Henry." And with that, Sophia tipped her head back and to the side, baring her throat to him.
Jasper's eyes widened in shock, "Did she offer for you to drink her blood?"
Alice scoffed, "She'd never do that, right, Edward?"
"Of course not!" He growled. "She's taking a creative license because that's how most of the world sees vampires!"
"Geez, no need to get defensive, Eddie." Emmett scoffed.
"Don't call me Eddie!"
The tenuous threads of Henry's self-control snapped at the sight, and he was by her side in less than a second, pressing himself against Sophia's body. He buried his face in her neck, taking in the delicious smell of her skin and blood. Henry let out a sound that sounded suspiciously like a growl before he pulled the jacket's collar away from her neck to get access to more of her neck.
Henry turned and pulled Sophia until they both landed heavily on the couch. He pulled the leather jacket down her arms, throwing it and her shirt somewhere near the bookshelf to the left. Sophia's hands started on the buttons of his shirt, but he quickly batted them away, ripping open the shirt and allowing the tattered pieces to fall at their feet.
Sophia sat back, her eyes roving Henry's bare skin. "Henry…" She lightly ran a hand over his chest, her finger catching a nipple, causing him to suck in a breath. "You're gorgeous."
" Pfft." Alice pulled her knees to her chest and giggled into them. "Oh, my God!"
"Shut up!" If he could blush... Edward closed his eyes and took a deep breath, trying to get his hormones back under control. One unwanted erection in front of his siblings was enough.
"I can't take it seriously anymore now that I know it's about you!" Alice squealed, throwing her face into Jasper's lap.
Jasper sent out a wave of calm, soothing Alice's giggles and making Edward feel like he had a semblance of control over his body.
She lightly scratched her fingers down his pecs and abs, and Henry threw his head back and groaned, pressing himself against her, shivering as she ground her hips against his. Henry flipped them so that Sophia lay on the couch under him. Her skin was illuminated in the moonlight that filtered in through the window. The delicious smoothness of it was only marred by the light pink and white scars that decorated her body. Some she had had since she was a child, one was from an appendectomy, others were scars that she had gotten on their adventures together.
Henry leaned down, tracing her scars with his lips, teeth, and tongue. He slowly worshipped every mark, pouring out his love, desire, and gratitude through his actions — showing her what he could not say aloud. Below him, Sophia writhed, moaning his name as his lips danced across her heated flesh.
"Okay! I think we've read enough!" Edward plucked the book from Alice's hands and held it to his chest. He could feel the heat on his cheeks as venom pooled there as he took in breaths of air to calm himself. Apparently, he could blush. The more you know. "You can read the rest, alone, when Bella posts it online." After I make her heavily edit it, he thought to himself as he rushed out of the mansion.
"Sophia... May I?" Henry asked, nudging her neck with his nose. His voice was low and soothing, not a trace of compulsion in his words. Sophia released a soft whine and threw her head to the side. She brushed her fingers over his neck and into his hair, holding his face firmly to her neck.
"Henry, please," she said breathlessly.
The sound of her needy tone rushed through him, and he was instantly on the verge of coming. He leaned forward and pressed his teeth into Sophia's throat while thrusting his cock deep inside her.
Sophia's blood flooded his mouth, numbing his senses until all there was the taste of her on his tongue and the feel of her around him. He closed his eyes and drew hard on her neck, pulling out delicious mouthfuls of blood and groaning —
"Edward?" Bella called sleepily, rubbing her eyes and looking up at him blurrily. "What are you doing?"
"Nothing!"
