The first time little Izuku Midoriya experienced her Quirk it was during one of the scariest moments of her young life. She had been playing by herself in the park when a man approached her asking her if she could help him find his lost dog. Seeing that the man had a leash and a collar in his hands, six-year-old Izuku agreed to help find the lost pup. It didn't even occur to her young mind to look for her mother, who had been talking to one of the other moms in the park, to let her know where she was going.

One moment she was in the park and the next she was tied up in the back of a van. She heard her kidnapper speaking on his phone telling whoever it was that he had the package and that she was just as quirkless as the woman, who told them about her, said she was. She remembered that the car ride was long and by the time they stopped the sun had gone down outside and the moon was quickly rising.

When the blindfold came off she could see that instead of just one man there were six people in the warehouse she had been taken to. Toharu Hakashi, Kiba Kaname, Sora Hideki, Toru Hakashi, Nishika Munoto, and Shin Washichi. She learned who they were after she had been saved when she overheard the officer tell her mother who they were and if they had any connection to them. Turned out it was Sora Hideki, their neighbor, who had told the others who she was and that she was 'quirkless.'

She didn't remember much of that night except for a strange sensation going across her skin, a loud roar that caused the windows of the warehouse to shake, screams that came from the others in the warehouse, the sound of comforting crackles of flames, and warm scales against her skin. It was a surprise to those who had found her that she wasn't burned. It was more of a surprise to her that the Hero who found her was Eraserhead himself.

The second time she was able to use her quirk was a week later in the middle of the night after she had woken up from a nightmare. She was sitting in her bed crying softly when she felt that strange sensation across her skin. When she opened her eyes she saw acidic green colored smoke traveling just half an inch above her skin all over her body.

"My Quirk?" Izuku asked herself quietly before the smoke travelled off her body and pooled on her bedroom floor. She watched, with the soft occasional sniffle, as the smoke parted from its circular pooling motion to a ring. Inside of the ring was beautiful. It was like looking into a painting or another world. The earth was covered in crackled dark stone with bright magma flowing just underneath that shown through the cracks and the sky a bright orange.

From within the ring first came a large reptilian paw that was followed by a head that reminded Izuku of a dragon. It only took half a minute before the creature was fully out of the ring and filled her room up to the brim. She couldn't tell what this creatures' scales color were thanks to it being dark in her room, except for a little All Might nightlight her mother had gotten for her, but the scales were dark. Its bright orange amber eyes glowed with a bright inner flame, and she couldn't help the giggle that came out of her when the beast snorted in her face making her fly away curls blow around.

She felt safe with this creature, so she wasn't afraid, even when the beast let out a deep crooning growl and nudged her back to laying down on the bed. She watched as strong jaws opened up to reveal sharp white teeth, but the creature only brought her blanket up to her chin before giving her cheek a soft lick.

The floor creaked as the beast settled down beside her bed and she couldn't help but smile and turn in her bed to grab one of the beasts' warm spikes in her hand. She had a feeling that this was the creature that saved her that night from being sold overseas to a laboratory.

"Goodnight, Mr. Dragon," Izuku whispered softly as her eyes closed and she fell into a deep dreamless sleep.

"Mom! I have a QUIRK!"

Inko Midoriya, single mother to Izuku and widow, quickly turned around from where she stood in the kitchen. She had just started making breakfast for the two of them when her darling daughter came running into the room screaming. She blinked a few times as she took in Izuku, so full of energy unlike the last week, and just her daughter starting to be herself caused Inko to smile.

"You do?" Inko asked as she moved to kneel beside Izuku, "What is it?"

"Him!" Izuku said as she pointed behind her all the while beaming at her mother.

Inko looked up quickly, since she didn't even hear any footsteps accompanying her daughter, only to be face to face with the beast Izuku had summoned last night. Inko let loose a scream and pulled her daughter back only for Izuku to pull away from the loose hold.

"It's okay mom!" Izuku said as she smiled, "He's nice!"

The green haired woman looked between Izuku and the beast as she let out a shaky breath. She swallowed around the lump in her throat as she nodded and looked at Izuku again. "H-He's nice," Inko repeated a bit incredulously as her daughter let out a confirming hum and nodded, "O-Okay."

Inko was glad really, that her daughter had a Quirk that could protect her when she needed protecting, but she didn't like the bill that came with this creature when the beast fell through their apartment floor and into the apartment below them. Thankfully their downstairs neighbor wasn't home when the incident happened. This just gave her a reason to look for a more permanent house to live in than the small apartment her and her husband had lived in together before he passed.

With the money she hadn't touched since her Hisashis' death she was able to get a house in the same area her best friend and her family lived in. In fact Inko and Izuku moved in right across the street from Mitsuki Bakugo, Masaru Bakugo, and their son Katsuki, who was only a few months older than Izuku and had a Quirk that caused explosions. Their new home was a three bedroom, more bedrooms than what they needed, and three baths house with a small pool in the backyard, a basement, an attic, a large kitchen and living room open area, and a garage for the car her mother had to buy since they lived further from Izukus' school than the apartment.

Inko was glad really, that her daughter had a Quirk that caused this small bit of trouble, but she was even more glad as the sound of her daughters' laughter reached her ears. That really made all the trouble worth it.

"So what is he?"

Izuku looked over at her best friend, Katsuki, from her drawing. She looked over at the giant reptilian, who she had summoned when Katsuki had come over, who was sunning himself by the large uncovered windows. In truth, she didn't know what he was.

"I don't know," Izuku said as she put down her crayon.

"Does he have a name?" Katsuki asked as the beast gently rolled himself over to sun the other side of his body.

"Uh-uh," the green haired little girl said, "I don't know if I'm supposed to name him or if he already has a name and I'm supposed to learn it."

"Wanna see if Auntie Inko will let us use the computer for research? If he is real shouldn't there be something about him online?"

Izuku turned her head away from where she was looking over at the best to Katsuki like he just had the greatest idea she ever heard, and that was saying something since he already had the idea to put superglue on their bully of a teachers' chair. "Mom!" Izuku yelled as she got up from the kitchen table, with Katsuki right behind her with a wide grin on his face, to find her mother.

"Yes?"

Izuku turned around and saw her mother coming in the french doors that led outside. "Mom, mom, mom!" Izuku said as she bounced from foot to foot in front of Inko, "Can we get on the computer for a little bit? Kacchan had the greatest idea ever to look up and see what Mr. Dragon is and, and, and-!"

Inko cut off her daughters' excited rant with a small laugh. "Yes you can," Inko said, getting cheers from both of the kids, "Only for a little bit! Katsuki, your mother wants you home in a couple of hours. Your grandfather is coming for a visit and Izuku has a doctors' appointment at two."

"Okay Mom/Thanks Auntie!"

Inko gave them a small smile as she watched the two run to the computer she had set up in the living room before moving to sit on the couch to watch a little before she had to send Katsuki home.

Izuku quickly fired the computer as Katsuki rolled over a chair to sit in before typing in the password needed to log into the computer. "Um what should we type in?" Izuku asked as Katsuki settled in. The cursor blinked slowly on the search box waiting for letters to be typed.

"How about just searching for dragons? We know he's a type of dragon, but not the specifics," Katsuki suggested as he reached over and typed the word 'dragon' into the search bar. Just a moment later they were looking over different dragons. There were dragons, elemental dragons, ancient dragons, something called a hydra, a wyvern, fairy dragons, Druk, nothing that they were looking for. They were all different from what they needed.

"Do we need to be more specific?" Izuku wondered out loud before going back up to the search bar and typed in 'no wing dragon.' From there they got two options, a Wyrm, and a Drake. Izuku clicked on the first option, but it was no good. Her Mr. Dragon had legs where these Wyrms were built like a large snake, and Mr. Dragon was warm and could use fire. Wyrms were dragons that live in the water.

The next option made her gasp. In the picture beside the word Drake looked almost exactly like her Mr. Dragon! Looking further down she read that there were many elemental Drakes and that her Mr. Dragon was known as a Fire Drake, but the website kept saying things like fantasy and mythology. It wasn't right! Obviously since her Mr. Dragon was here and alive the website was lying about them not being real!

"But Mr. Dragon is real," Izuku said as she sat back in her chair.

"Yeah!" Katsuki said agreeing with Izuku, "Obviously! He's right here!"

Izuku sighed softly before closing out the website she was using. "Either way! We know what Mr. Dragon is now! All he needs is a name," Izuku said, perking right up as she let the thoughts of her Mr. Dragon not being real leave her mind. Katsuki nodded as he clenched his hands making his sweat pop and crackle.

"Enzo!"

The sudden shout of the name caused Inko to jump slightly in the drivers seat of their car. Inko and Izuku were coming back from the doctors appointment the little girl had when the name came to mind.

"What?" Inko asked as she settled back down in her seat.

"Mr. Dragons' new name! Enzo!" Izuku said proudly and through the connection she had with her summoned beast she could feel the Drakes' pride and happiness at finally having a name.

"Oh?" Inko replied as she smiled, "That's a wonderful name. How about we stop to get some ice cream?"

"Yes!"

The excited exclamation made Inko laugh as she turned down the street to their favorite ice cream place. She wasn't only doing this as a congratulatory offering, but as a reward for Izuku for being so well behaved when she got her blood taken and had been given her vaccines. The place wasn't packed since it was still in the middle of the day and others were either at school or at work.

Izuku got a cup of cookie dough ice cream while her mother chose to have her scoop of chocolate in a cone. Izuku was happy and humming as she ate carefully to keep any ice cream off her face. The bond between her and Enzo hummed in contentment as she enjoyed her ice cream.

She was just about done when two other men walked into the shop. The two were just about the same height, but look wise they were complete opposites. One man had long blond hair tied up into a messy bun, glasses, a small mustache, and a wide smile on his lips all the while dressed in light blue jeans, a white shirt, and sensible walking boots on his feet. The other man had black hair, black eyes, and wore all black, including his shoes, and looked very tired as the loud bright man pulled him to the counter.

Izuku couldn't help but stare at the darker dressed man once the two sat down with their own ice cream. The man seemed familiar, but it wasn't until the man gave the blond a small smile that she knew who it was.

"Momma," Izuku whispered softly, gaining her mothers' attention, "It's Eraserhead! C-Can I go say hi?"

Inko looked at her daughter for a moment before giving the two men a glance. While she didn't want to but into their day, since they were obviously not on Hero duty, Inko didn't know when Izuku would have the time to say thank you to the man that saved her just a couple of months ago.

"Okay sweetie," Inko said, agreeing to what her daughter wanted, "But you hurry back. I'm sure Katsuki would like to play again when we get back."

Izuku nodded and took her bowl with her to throw away before approaching the two men. "E-Excuse me," Izuku said once the two looked at her approaching.

"Hey kiddo," the blond man said in a very familiar tone, "Whatcha need?"

Izuku blushed softly as she turned to the darker haired man and opened her mouth to speak. "M-Mr. Eraserhead," she began startling the two since the man wasn't the most well known Hero seeing as he was an Underground Hero, "I don't know if you remember me, but you saved me a couple of months ago from my kidnappers in a warehouse that was burning down."

Izuku could see recognition filling Eraserheads' dark eyes as she spoke. From the corner of her eye she could see the blond man, she now recognized as the Pro-Hero Present Mic, cover his mouth with his hand. "I just wanted to thank you since I wasn't able to do it before!" Izuku continued as she gave Eraserhead a small bow before giving him a large smile, "So, thank you Mr. Eraserhead for saving me and for helping me get back to my momma!"

Izuku turned around and raced to her mother, who had moved to stand by the door, to leave without waiting for any sort of response. As mother and daughter walked past the window of the shop Izuku turned and gave the two Heroes a small wave and another smile. She hoped that meeting them in the shop wasn't going to be the last time she got to see them, after all Eraserhead was her new favorite Hero!
