Two of Us

Author's Note: Hey everyone and welcome back to Two of Us! So guys, we are going off script now (we might introduce the Shie Hassaikai arc but never fear! Eri will be involved in this fic!), also this is STILL pre-redemption arc Endeavor and he's basically a major asshole in this at first. Because of Katsuki (and him urging Todoroki to tell Aizawa) and setting up a plot on something that would get him to tell Aizawa, this is going way off script compared to canon Endeavor. (or maybe not even non-canon Endeavor, I honestly could see Endeavor doing this but anyway) On with the fic!

Additional Notes: So… here we are months later with an update! Yeah, sorry about that! My laptop basically shit out and also going through a second pregnancy didn't leave any room for me to write and work on stuff. Mostly, the whole my laptop shit out so I was able to work on anything except for when I could actually get it to work. Meh. Anyway, I hope you enjoy! -Phoenix

Chapter Twelve: Hall of Fame (by The Script ft will. )

Chapter Summary: As things settle down from Kamino Ward, Toshinori is recovering from his injuries as he and Shouta talk. U.A. decides to place the dorm system into place and starts talking with parents over their students. Later, Todoroki shows up at the Aizawa-Yamada house in the middle of the night and tells Shouta everything.

Toshinori woke up to a faint beeping noise in the background and the smell of stern sterilization. His eyelids were heavy at first, but after some time he pried both eyes open, letting his pupils adjust to the bright neon light crashing down on him from the daylights. Amidst the initial blur of contours and muddy schemes, Toshinori thought to recognise the dark shape of a person sitting beside his bed. Not trying to overstrain his yet exhausted body, he gave himself the better of another minute blinking several times before he concentrated on identifying the other. The puzzle was soon solved though.

"Father."

His son's voice was soft and at its quietest he'd ever heard.

"Shouta?"

The rustling of bed sheets followed. He tried to reach out for his son with the hand that wasn't trapped in a thick cage of bandages. His endeavour was dissolved however, when Shouta batted his arm carefully back down onto the blanket.

"Don't overstrain it. The stitches might re-open," he mumbled tiredly as if he repeated these two phrases for the hundredth time.

"You're here…"

Toshinori wasn't sure if it was a plain statement or a question. Shouta seemed to take it for the latter, not showing if he was hurt by the imprudence.

"They only let me in after your injuries had been taken care of and after I myself got cleared." Shouta scratched his head, his hand sporting a thin layer of bandages. "The docs wouldn't believe me I was fine, but they wanted to play it extra safe with…" His son trailed off, locking unreadable eyes with Toshinori's, who stared back quizzically.

Toshinori started fumbling with the bedsheet between his fingers.

"You weren't seriously injured, were you? I don't like that pause."

Shouta scoffed. "You're the one bandaged up from head to toe and ask me if I was seriously injured...No, don't worry, dad."

Toshinori starred back in surprise. That was the first time in a long while that Shouta had called him...dad.

"You're not going to die?"

"What...No."

"You'd never call me dad, if not something serious was up."

Was that a smile on Shouta's lips? Even if it was faint, almost unreadable, Toshinori's heart felt like melting.

"Why does the world have to end for me to call you dad?"

The former Symbol of Peace let that sink in. Why, indeed. Perhaps, because all the normal things in life had been denied to them? Like being called dad, like supporting your son through hard times… Toshinori's lips dropped.

"If you're that indignant about it, I can take it back."

"No! I mean...no, please. I'm so happy hearing it from you, you cannot imagine."

"Then I don't get your reaction. Your face and words contradict with each other," Shouta stated bluntly; but he was right. Why did Toshinori feel like crying when his son had called him what he'd been yearning for for years?

Toshinori started chuckling, "It's not logical, right?"

Shouta shook his head in disbelief at his father's childish behaviour.

"Is the plot twist to it yet to come, anything more?"

"Nope, don't think so. Just grant me this amount of illogicality."

"Yeah...I think that can be arranged. Anyway, what I wanted to talk to you about," another beat of silence. Shouta was clearly hesitating, almost stalling."...I'm glad you survived."

"Well...thank you." Now, it was Toshinori's time to scratch his head. "I'm happy you're glad about my well-being—"

"That's not what I meant. I mean I'm really glad."

"Yeah, that makes me really happy."

Shouta's expression grew frustrated, his gaze wandered off to some point in the room. His voice was low when he continued, "Despite our past, I mean, I'm glad you're still here. I don't think I could do this here without you."

His son placed a hand over his stomach, and Toshinori got utterly silent in an instant.

"What do you mean…?"

Shouta waited patiently for him to take the hint.

Oh.

Oh…

Tears started gathering in the corner of his eyes.

All Might cannot change what's gone wrong in the past, but Yagi Toshinori has a second chance in the present.

"You know, I never stopped believing neither in you nor All Might, never in all this time. I just had a simple wish back then that Yagi Toshinori didn't hide as much behind All Might as he did. I would have needed my father to mourn together, and not a teeth-showing limelight hero to distract from the grief." Shouta stated, reaching out and taking Toshinori's bandaged hand into his own. Toshinori allowed his gaze to linger on his son's face, his heart racing as his child continued to speak to him. "The world was calling out to you. I was. All I knew was that my father was facing off against the man who almost killed him and I… I could feel that pain of seeing what happened to mom again. I never wanted to have that feeling again."

Toshinori mustered a smile to his face, moving the same hand that Shouta held until their hands were right next to Shouta's cheek. "I'm not going anywhere, Shouta. All I ever wanted was for you to be proud of who I was, but I was so blinded with being the Symbol of Peace that I never realized what I did to you. I was never the father I should have been but my time as a hero is over. Now, it's Toshinori's time. Which should have happened a long time ago." The blonde replied. A smile came to his son's face and for the moment, the two fell into a comfortable silence.

Toshinori sat there for a moment, the seconds of bliss despite the previous day's events flooding over him as Shouta just sat there with him. He couldn't ask for anything more.

x

With Recovery Girl stopping by, Toshinori found himself gathering together the little bit of stuff he had with him at the hospital. A few of his belongings had been brought to him by Shouta the previous day just in case he needed them. He had put on some of the clothes that Shouta had packed away for him and sighed softly. Both of his arms were bandaged and his right one now residing in a sling until Recovery Girl told him he could take it off. He also had bandages around his head from a small injury that he had sustained during his fight.

He paused during his packing, stopping as his free hand picked up the torn up hero costume that he had been wearing. The arms were ripped to hell and the rest of the costume wasn't faring any better. The smile that had been on his lips fell as he brought the garment up to his chest, tears pooling in his eyes.

His time as the Symbol of Peace was over. He was just Yagi Toshinori now. What was his life going to be like for him now?

"Dad?" Shouta's voice rang in his ears, causing Toshinori to look up and turn to face him. Shouta stood at the room's door with Hizashi behind him. Shouta's face was masked in concern as he stepped into the room, his scent radiating comforting pheromones as he moved to stand next to his father.

Toshinori remained silent as Shouta's gaze moved from his face to the costume. His son gave him a knowing look but didn't comment on it. Toshinori thanked any God that would listen because had Shouta said something, he was sure that he would have broken down.

Hizashi stepped further into the room, also choosing to remain quiet but instead picking up Toshinori's bag with his normal grin on his face.

Toshinori nodded at him before looking back over to Shouta. They remained silent as Shouta motioned towards the door. Toshinori took in a deep breath, the second he walked out that door, his life was going to be completely different.

Everything was different now. All for One was imprisoned, his life as a hero was over, Shigaraki's true identity had been revealed as Shimura Tenko, so many things in the span of minutes.

All he could do now was take his knowledge and feed it to the aspiring heroes and form them into the heroes they want to be. He would see to it that his successor… his grandson… his students became what they wanted to be.

"Where's Katsuki?" Toshinori questioned, immediately noticing the absence of the normally explosive, loud blonde.

Shouta turned his head and smiled at him as they walked down the halls of the hospital and towards the exit. "He's a little busy at the moment." The knowing smile on the Omega's face was all that Toshinori needed to know before he found himself chuckling. He knew exactly where Katsuki was at the moment.

X

"Icy Hot, you got a minute?"

Shouto turned around, pausing mid-onigiri and looking utterly confused for a straining whole bunch of seconds before placing his meal on the plate. Katsuki admitted he could have done a better, more elegant job in taking Shouto aside, only this wasn't a job to be done and nothing you'd find a golden recipe for. He'd have to do it his way, figure it out in the process by taking action, but he definitely needed to get this out now. The blonde wouldn't be able to bear his feelings in secret and hidden away from Shouto any longer.

"Yeah, sure." Shouto muttered, following behind Katsuki as the blonde started off away from the others, leaving the canteen.

Katsuki shuffled on his feet, unsure of exactly how he was going to go about it. He knew he wasn't the best at confessing feelings; but then, how would he know how bad he was at it, having never done it before? At least, there was no turning back now. As he and Icy Hot turned the corner of the building housing UA's cafeteria, time slowed down to a grey, never-ending momentum, to a standstill. His heart, though, would as well, if he didn't finally say it out loud. Without warning, Katsuki stopped in his tracks so that Shouto bumped into his back, grunting in surprise.

"Kacchan?"

The bastard had no clue how he was tearing apart and bringing back together Katsuki's heart over and over again. How he was taking him on a rollercoaster every single ducking day that Katsuki hadn't yet confessed to him. Not a single fucking guess.

"Listen, you lil' bas— Shouto…"

Those typical, dumb-founded big eyes were looking back at Katsuki, showing their irritation at the situation.

"Did I do something wrong? You're angry with me…"

Katsuki grabbed some strands of his spiky hair, almost tearing at them.

"Yes! I mean, no. Nothing you did wrong. It's me, I cannot seem to get out these dumb bastard words." He growled, he could feel Shouto's eyes burning holes into him as he looked away, his face flushing over as he scratched at the back of his head. "Fuck! Why is this shit so damn hard?!"

"Katsuki?" Shouto's voice came out soft.

Katsuki let out another growl as he looked up, placing his hands on either side of Shouto's head. Effectively trapping the Omega between himself and the wall. "What I'm trying to say is I have fucking feelings for you. I want you so much more than just a classmate or a friend. I want to be with you, Todoroki Shouto."

Shouto's eyes got impossibly wider, his mouth dropping open. Katsuki could see the dust of pink tinting Shouto's cheeks. He could even see it through the scarring on his left cheek. Katsuki felt his heart stop. Did Shouto not reciprocate the same feelings to him? Had he been reading this wrong this entire time? Those thoughts went away as Shouto's face turned into a smile, arms raising and wrapping around Katsuki's shoulders. Burying his nose in the croak of Katsuki's neck. The Alpha took in a deep breath as he let his hands drop from the wall and in turn wrapped around Shouto, pulling him almost impossibly close. It wasn't a verbal answer, but it was enough.

Katsuki was shitty with feelings anyway. How to express them in a healthy manner. He would take this. Shouto was his. That's what mattered to him in that moment.

Shouto pulled back with a gasp, his eyes wide again. "Holy shit… your grandfather. He was All Might!" The Omega exclaimed, the shock covering his face.

Katsuki snorted. "Yeah, he was." The Alpha pulled away from Shouto, grabbing his hand into his before pulling him along. "Now, lets fucking go do something. I'm tired of this place."

Talking with the parents. A moment that Shouta had been dreading ever since Nezu had implemented the new dorm system. It had been left up to the homeroom teachers to speak with the parents. Each homeroom teacher had another faculty member with them. Shouta had Toshinori. Letters had been sent out prior to these visits so the parents were aware of why they were there but Shouta was expecting the parents to have reservations about letting their kids continue at U.A. especially after the USJ attack and now the training camp with the hero course students. Shouta didn't think that the classes outside of the hero courses would have many issues. It had been clear that the villains were after the hero course students, namely his own class compared to the others. If Shouta wasn't a hero or a teacher, he would probably be holding the school just as responsible as the villains. The school was supposed to keep these kids safe while they did their training and learning for their future endeavors, not allow for villains to slip in and attack.

The car ride over to the next student's family was quiet for the first minutes. Shouta was processing things, how lightly Jirou's parents had reacted towards the Dorms concept, and the father's silent admiration of All Might. The man had even thrown a thumbs up in Shouta's direction, exclaiming, "You're a cool dude of a Homeroom teacher." Admittedly, he didn't know yet how to take it, being called a cool dude; but that certainly had to be positive, right? The only thing he regretted was to have dragged his father with him to this house visiting operation. So shortly after a major battle with noteworthy injuries, Shouta hadn't dared ask Toshinori directly for emotional support in the form of a second teacher during the house visits. Dancing around the point by just looking miserably pale in prospect of the upcoming undertaking, Toshinori had finally offered himself, almost commanded Shouta to let him accompany him. Toshinori wasn't all up on his feet again, and didn't show if he had any struggles; but as it seemed, his presence wouldn't be as necessary as Shouta had suspected he'd need his father's presence as back-up.

Shouta placed an idle hand at the back of his neck, turning around to his father beside him on the back seat.

"I guess I'll have to buy you a drink," he admitted lowly, taking in the bandages around Toshinori's arm. Toshinori chuckled after a moment and shook his head, turning to look out the window for a moment.

"I've been expecting a lot more hostility from the parents." Toshinori stated.

Shouta nodded. "Me too."

x

For whatever reason, Toshinori decided that it would be best to split off for the last of the students. The idea came right at Midoriya Izuku's home. For a moment, Shouta's thoughts ventured back to Kamino. All for One's words echoing in his head of the taunting about Midoriya to his father. He's always known that Midoriya was favorited by Toshinori, the two spending a considerable amount of time together. Well, the same could be said about him and Shinsou.

The relationship between those two seemed… different. Completely different from what he had with Shinsou. Shinsou was his student and his pupil. Someone he has come to care for. Midoriya and Toshinori's went deeper than that. He made a mental note to himself as he looked out the window of the car as it drove towards the Todoroki home.

He allowed his mind to venture to Todoroki. The boy had been coming over to his home more often and spending more time with Katsuki. He had been quick to pick up on mannerism the boy had. He would say that Todoroki was more socially awkward than himself. There was something bugging him about what was going on with Todoroki. He couldn't place what it was.

He sighed as the car pulled up to the Todoroki home. Thankfully, it was the last place he had to go tonight and he would be heading back to his home afterwards. He was completely exhausted and was ready to just go to bed. Pregnancy was definitely working on making him more tired than he had been before. He didn't remember being this exhausted during his pregnancy with Katsuki. Though that was almost sixteen years ago when he last had a child.

He got out of the car, adjusting his bag over his shoulder, and starting towards the door. Shouta had an unknown feeling in the pit of his stomach that he couldn't place. The Omega reached out, knocking on the door and not even a moment later, the door opened to reveal a woman with white hair and small red streaks running through it.

She smiled at him, "Eraserhead! Hi, I'm Todoroki Fuyumi. Shouto's sister. Please come in." Fuyumi stated, ushering him inside with a smile on her face. Shouta smiled at her, giving her his thanks as he slipped off his shoes and took the guest pair of house shoes that Fuyumi offered up to him. "Can I get you anything? Tea?"

"No, thank you." Shouta replied as they started through the house and stopped at the family room. The Omega eyed the décor of the home, noticing quickly how void of personality the house was. There were no pictures hanging around the home. The occasional plant in the corner of the room. The furniture was pristine and nice. The home was more of the traditional Japanese style compared to the more modern style that most people had nowadays.

Todoroki was already sitting in the family room, his back stiff and body language unreadable. His face was stoic and void of emotion. Fuyumi excused herself from the room and Shouta took a seat across from his student. Todoroki looked at him, acknowledging his presence but didn't say anything. Todoroki looked almost… uncomfortable. Nervous even.

He could practically smell his distress rolling off of the boy. Mixing in with his normally sweet scent. Shouta didn't say anything but instead released his own calming pheromones. After a few minutes, Todoroki physically looked calmer and the distress wasn't lingering as much. It was only another thing to add to his mental notes.

Endeavor came in a moment later, dressed in his hero costume. "I have to head out soon, so let's make this quick, Eraser." The man stated.

Shouta nodded, narrowing his eyes on Endeavor. Todoroki's body had tensed again the second that his father had came into the room. It wasn't normal behavior for a teenage boy and his father to be displaying. Endeavor always had just an angry attitude towards anyone and everyone. So, it was hard to read Endeavor at times. The man hardly ever showed emotion past anger.

"I just wanted to talk to you about the new dorm system and if you had any questions." Shouta stated.

Endeavor sucked in a breath and nodded. "Shouto is free to go to the dorms. As long as if his training isn't affected. It doesn't matter."

Well, that was easier than he thought.

"Do you have any questions?" Shouta questioned, his eyes staying glued to Todoroki. Todoroki was no longer looking at him anymore, rather at his lap. His hands balled in fists in his lap. Like he was trying to hide the fact he was shaking.

Todoroki was actually shaking.

"No. If Shouto acts out, I expect you to contact me immediately." Endeavor added.

Shouta nodded, standing as Endeavor did too. "I will see him in a few days then."

Shouta's instincts were screaming at him to shield Todoroki. Todoroki didn't look like he was in danger but Shouta couldn't stop the feeling coursing through his body. Todoroki still didn't say anything to him, but there was something hiding within the depths of the heterochromic eyes.

Endeavor excused himself from the room before Shouta could say anything else and the Erasure hero rolled his eyes. Same old Endeavor. "Let me show you out, Aizawa-sensei." Todoroki muttered.

The two walked to the door in silence. Shouta would say he was in the home for maybe five minutes tops at that point. He looked over his shoulder, not sure of the reason why he was doing so, as they stopped at the door. He pulled out a card from his pocket and handed it over to his student. "If you need anything. No matter what time it is, you call me." Shouta stated. He watched Todoroki eye the card for a minute before he eventually took it and slipped it into his pocket.

"I will." Todoroki whispered as Shouta switched back into his shoes and went out the door. Shouta took in a deep breath. Something was going on inside that household but he couldn't quite figure it out. The last thing he wanted to do was accuse Endeavor of something and be completely wrong. He needed more information.

With one last look to the house, he turned back towards the car and hopped in.

X

Shouta slipped off his shoes as he stepped into the house, loosening the tie around his neck as he dropped his bag off into it's appropriate spot. He could hear Katsuki and Hizashi in the kitchen, busy at work making dinner. He could also hear his father's voice carrying on a conversation with Hizashi. Toshinori must of finished before him to get here before him. He hadn't seen any signs of Toshinori when he was first coming into the home.

He wondered into the kitchen, sighing as he took a seat across from Toshinori at the table. Toshinori eyed him for a second. "Shou, what's wrong?"

Shouta sighed again. He was sure at this point with how many times he's sighed that he could buy Might Tower. "It's Todoroki." He muttered. With his back turned to his son, he didn't see the way that Katsuki completely froze in his place.

"What about him?" Toshinori moved the conversation on, having caught the way his Alpha grandson had reacted. He kept moving his gaze between Shouta and Katsuki to catch how they reacted.

"I think… I think he be getting abused." Shouta whispered. Toshinori could smell Shouta's distress rolling off of him. It was much stronger than usual for his son. The way that Shouta was able to control his emotions and scent was phenomenal. That meant, whatever this was, happened to be getting to Shouta. To the point that he couldn't think straight.

"Are you sure?" Hizashi questioned, as he placed down the spoon in his hand.

Shouta shook his head. "I can't be sure… it's just the way that he reacted tonight with Endeavor. It was… odd. I've never seen Todoroki like that."

His attention was pulled away from the other two adults as Katsuki growled where he was standing. "That son of a bitch." Katsuki mumbled.

Shouta's eyes narrowed on his son. "What?"

"I have something I need to tell you." Katsuki stated, stopping what he was going to turn to face his parents and grandfather. "I wanted him to gain the courage to stand up and tell you, but it seems like that isn't the case now."

Shouta leaned forward onto the table, bracing his arms against the tabletop. "Tell me everything, Katsuki."

Katsuki took in a deep breath as he sat down and began to recall everything that he overheard from Todoroki's conversation with Midoriya at the Sports Festival. His reasoning for not telling them sooner. What him and Todoroki would speak about in confidence. Katsuki's anger was rising with every word and the only reason he hadn't lashed out was Shouta sitting right there.

By the time that Katsuki was finished, Shouta was just as angry as his son. Hizashi looked stunned and Toshinori looked like he was about to get sick to his stomach. "I'm going to do something about this. I just need Todoroki to come to me. I need him to confide in me so I can get a case." Shouta growled, his pheromones flaring in the room.

Hizashi reached out and took his hand into his own. "We will take care of this."

X

Shouto's stomach had completely dropped from the look of absolute anger on his father's face. It had been the first time since Kamino that they were actually alone together. He didn't have to see his father to know just how angry the man was with him. He put everything on the line to go to Kamino Ward to be part of the rescue operations of Katsuki. No one could have changed his mind even if they tried hard enough.

Enji was looming over him, making him feel absolutely small in that moment. Shouto wanted to curl in on himself but he remained tall. Well as tall as he could be compared to his father who towered over him.

"What the hell were you thinking, Shouto?!" Enji growled, leaning in until he was directly in his son's face. "Did you not even think of Hosu?! What happened with the Hero Killer?"

Shouto opened his mouth to speak but no words came out with the glare leveled on him from his father. He forced himself to take a deep breath. "We didn't break any laws, dad."

Enji laughed in disbelief. "That's not that point, Shouto. You were on the battlefield. What would have happened if that little plan hadn't worked and the League found you?!" Enji continued.

"I had to." Shouto snapped.

Enji frowned. "Had to what?"

Shouto took in a shaky breath, looking down at the ground. "I had to save him."

Enji growled. "I get that he is your classmate and what happened at the camp. Shouto, who should have left it to the pros."

"I know!" Shouto shouted, jumping at the own sound of his voice rising. "I couldn't just sit by. I had to. It's my fault. He would have never of been there if I had been faster."

Enji huffed, placing his hands on his hips continuing his glare on his son. "Shouto, you aren't thinking of your future. Your dream."

Shouto's gaze snapped up to his father. "My future? My dream?" He muttered. "It's not like I've had a choice my entire life. You chose for me. What if I didn't want to be a hero?! All that so called training would have gone to waste. Oh wait, it wasn't training." The Omega raved, standing up from where he had been sitting and walking over to his father. "I'm my own person. I'm not you! I don't hurt my family to get what I want! I'm not an asshole like you are!"

The sound of skin on skin rang through the room as Shouto fell to the ground. His eyes wide from the sting in his cheek and the blood on his chin. The moment was still. Everything completely silent as the Omega teenager reached his hand up and touched his fingers to his lips. His eyes wide as he pulled them back to see his fingertips have a sheen layer of blood on them. "Sho-" Shouto didn't even take the moment before he was on his feet and out of the house. He could barely hear Fuyumi or Enji calling after him as his ears rang. His legs hurt as he forced himself to run with his bare feet hitting the concrete below. He ignored the pain as he pushed himself forward, unsure of exactly where he was going and not a care in the world. He just had to get out of there. He despised his old man but never thought that the man would lay a hand on him outside of their training sessions. Flashes of his childhood flashed before his eyes with every step that connected with the ground. Tears stung his eyes. What the hell was he supposed to do now?

He wiped at his face with the back of his hand and pulled his phone from his pocket. He hadn't even realized that his tears had turned into full blown cries at that point. He unlocked the screen quickly, his eyes blurred with tears as he scrolled through his phone and clicked the one contact he wanted to speak to at that moment.

x

The silence that had fallen over the house after the revelation about Todoroki was uncomfortable. Dinner was completely forgotten as Katsuki boiled in his rage. He was prepared to march over to the Todoroki household and drag the Omega back here with him until it was time to move into the dorms.

Endeavor might be an excellent hero, but he was a shit father.

His phone buzzed in his pocket, and for a moment he thought of ignoring it before deciding to pull it out and check the ID. His heart skipped a beat as he looked at the screen: Shouto.

He clicked the accept button and put the phone to his ear with a quick hello. His blood ran cold as he heard the soft crying on the other side of the line. "Shouto? Are you okay?" Shouta, Hizashi, and Toshinori were casting him looks as he waited for Shouto to answer him back.

"Katsuki… can I come over?" Shouto said, his words coming out soft.

Katsuki didn't reply at first as he stood up, heading towards the door. Slipping on his shoes, he left without another word. "Where are you?"

"I'm not exactly sure. It looks familiar though."

"Stay on the phone with me until you get here." Katsuki stated. He looked around, trying to spot which way Todoroki would be coming from. "What do you see?"

He could hear labored breathing on the other side and a shuffle before he heard, "I see a café. I just passed it."

"I know where you are. Stay there." Katsuki instructed as he started down the familiar path towards the café that he knew Todoroki would be at.

It didn't take long before Katsuki found Todoroki. The Omega standing off to the side, trying to conceal himself as much as possible from others. Katsuki could see just how skittish he was being. It was different from the normal emotionless mask that he wore nine out of ten times that you would look at him. The closer that Katsuki got to Todoroki, the more anger that he felt.

The Omega had a cut on his lip, some of the blood moving down his chin. A large bruise forming across the bottom part of his cheek. His eyes were blood-shot and puffy. "Shouto?" Katsuki muttered, careful not to spook Todoroki as he got up to him. Todoroki looked at him, sniffling as he wiped at his chin with his sleeve. "Who did this to you?"

Todoroki bit his lip and shook his head. That's all Katsuki needed to know before he was pulling the Omega along with him and back towards his house.

X

When the two teenagers made it back to Katsuki's house, Shouta, Hizashi, and Toshinori were all standing outside waiting for them. Shouta was the first to walk forward, stopping in front of Todoroki to get a better look at his face. Shouta's face softened as he looked over to Katsuki for a moment.

Katsuki felt himself calming just from the look. "Let's go inside." The Erasure hero muttered, motioning for Todoroki to start walking. Shouta placed his hands on Todoroki's arms in a comforting manner as they walked into the house.

Todoroki walked with them, allowing himself to be guided into the house. Hizashi stated that he was going to get some tea and would be right back. Toshinori took a seat in his chair that was across from the couch as Katsuki, Shouta, and Todoroki all sat down on the couch.

"What happened, Todoroki?" Shouta questioned, keeping his voice soft and reassuring.

Todoroki sniffled, picking at his nails. Not once wanting to look up to the others. "It was my fault."

Katsuki growled. "It absolutely wasn't. Whatever it was."

"Katsuki, let him tell us what happened." Shouta stated, leveling a look on Katsuki to keep the Alpha quiet. Katsuki made a zipping motion in front of his mouth as Shouta looked back to Todoroki. "Tell me what happened."

Todoroki took a deep breath as he recounted the events that happened before he called Katsuki. Hizashi had came back into the room, handing a cup of tea over to Todoroki. The Omega teenager taking it but not actually taking a drink from it. By the time he was done, Katsuki was boiling in anger and Shouta gave out a sigh.

"I have to turn this over to the police." Shouta said after a moment.

Todoroki's eyes widened. "Please, don't. The world needs him."

"Shouto. He hit you." Katsuki growled.

Todoroki took a deep breath. "I know but the world needs Endeavor now that All Might is retired. Civilians are already starting to lose faith in U.A. because of the training camp. We can't give them more…" He explained.

Toshinori leaned forward with his elbows on his knees and hands folded in front of him. "I know he's a hero and he's your father but what he has done can't go unpunished."

Shouta took a deep breath as he looked back over to Todoroki once more. "Todoroki, what do you want to do?"

With a sniffle and his hand intertwined with Katsuki's. The Alpha squeezing his fingers in reassurance. Todoroki sighed, "I will be moving into the dorms and being placed into the custody of U.A. right?" This gained a nod from Shouta. "Well, what if I'm just taken from his custody and become a ward of U.A… instead of taking this too far. The world is going to need him. Endeavor is an amazing hero… as my father, I don't think I can forgive him for some things. At least not yet."

Shouta nodded. "Alright. I will talk with Tsukauchi and Nezu and see what we can do. I will even talk with Endeavor personally if I need too."

Todoroki nodded, not verbally replying.

"We were eating dinner if you are hungry." Hizashi stated. Todoroki flushed as they could hear his stomach rumble from where he was sitting.

"C'mon, Icyhot." Katsuki stated, getting up and pulling Todoroki after him.

The new dorms were built. Only taking two days from the start of construction by Nezu and Comentoss. Shouta stood in front of his students, watching their happy faces as they basked in the joy of moving into the dorms and being away from home.

That was about to shatter.

He explained that he would have expelled all of them with the exception of Jirou, Hagakure, and Katsuki if he had the choice. Watching as all their faces dropped when he explained his reasoning. His kids were training to be heroes but that meant they had to do it by the book. Especially with all eyes on U.A. because of the USJ Incident and the training camp attack. He hoped his words were enough to scare them from pulling a stunt like that again. Even though, honestly, the gratitude that he had felt for the safe rescue of Katsuki. But it could have cost one of them everything. Todoroki, Iida, and Midoriya all three should have known the consequences. Especially following the Hero Killer incident they were involved in.

He didn't want to see this kids not to be able to reach their dreams.

He moved on, showing them around the dorms and their new rooms. Giving them the keys that would give them access to their room. All of their belongings were already at the school so all they needed to do was unpack. He gave his leave, only stopping to pull Todoroki to the side.

He made sure no one was in earshot as he whispered, "Tsukauchi and Nezu secured you an emergency custody transfer. You are temporarily a ward of U.A. while we get this figured out. I will be speaking with Endeavor here in a few days to do a course of action."

Todoroki nodded, muttering a quick, "Thank you."

With that, Shouta took his leave. Going back to his apartment that was now on campus to finish his own unpacking.

Toshinori felt a smile come to his face as he looked up at the newly built Heights Alliance. The students had been in the dorms for a few days at this point and were hopefully settling in nicely. The teachers also were moved onto the campus with their own apartments. He walked up the steps and opened the door, his eyes falling onto the entirety of Class 1-A sitting on the various couches around the TV with a movie playing though no one was watching it. Katsuki stood behind him in silence, having helped him bring some of his belongings into his own apartment.

"All Might! I'm so glad to see that you're okay!" Midoriya exclaimed, the young Alpha jumping up from his spot next to Shinsou on the couch. Toshinori gave him a soft smile as he approached them with Katsuki not too far behind him.

"Of course I am, young Midoriya." Toshinori stated, the large grin never leaving his face. He looked among the students. "Just some left over healing to do, but mostly I'm healed up thanks to Recovery Girl." They looked relieved but their faces also read a different story. Each of them looked like they were dying to ask him the same question. He knew exactly what it would be. All for One had not only revealed his weakened state but his family as well. Shouta had been warped to the battlefield and it had been broadcasted to the world. Even if they couldn't hear what was being said, why would the villains warp their teacher there unless his connection to All Might ran deeper than just a colleague?

They knew Katsuki was Shouta's son. They knew that Katsuki was his grandson. They knew Shouta was his son. It was only a matter of time before they figured it out. He just never expected it to happen in this manner. The situation wasn't helped that Shouta had begged him on the battlefield not to give up, after being warped there by All for One to be used against him. It almost worked. He had almost stopped fighting. If it hadn't been for Shouta... he probably wouldn't be standing here.

"You know, you can ask me now." Toshinori muttered, his head moving to the side as he smiled softly. The students were taken back as Katsuki made a tsking sound.

Uraraka had taken the lead on the questioning, tapping the soles of her feet together as she timidly asked, "Who exactly is Aizawa-sensei to you?"

"We don't mean to pry All Might-sensei but he was kinda warped to Kamino and the way you reacted…" Kaminari muttered, scratching the back of his head. Toshinori eyed the students for a moment, but it was clear to him that they all wanted to know. They couldn't hear what was being said on TV but their body language would have been enough to give away that they were more than just colleagues.

Toshinori smiled as he took a seat in a chair that Kaminari gladly gave up for him. The electric beta taking a spot next to Jirou. "He's my son." Toshinori said, the words almost giving him a sense of relief as he finally admitted it for the first time. So many years of keeping his son a secret from anyone and everyone. The entire world. He was finally able to admit it with a smile on his face.

Despite their suspicions, shock and confusion covered the faces of the students. All except for Katsuki and Todoroki. Todoroki, bless his heart, was so incredibly smart and observant. He was probably the first to have suspicions out of all of them. The boy had met him in his small form before and he was introduced to him as Katsuki's grandfather. Todoroki's own suspicions had been confirmed by him before the dorms were built.

"He looks nothing like you. He doesn't even act like you." Mina stated, pausing and pressing her lips together before adding, "Except the stubbornness. I could see that." She added with a smile.

Toshinori let out a chuckle, sitting up slightly so he could reach into his back pocket and pull out his wallet. "That boy is his mother through and through." He said, opening his wallet and pulling a picture from the enclosed pocket.

The picture was small and the edges were worn from it's time within his wallet but clear as day you could see a young Toshinori, Kasumi, and in between them in Kasumi's arms was Shouta right before he got his quirk.

He turned the picture, flashing it to the students before handing it over to Mina. "She's so pretty." The pink skinned girl murmured.

Toshinori smiled. "She was beautiful. Such a kind soul."

The picture was passed around them until it reached Midoriya. His face lit up almost instantly as he sputtered out, "She's the pro hero Rainstorm! Her quirk was thunderstorm. It was so amazing. I saw videos of her in action! She was amazing."

Katsuki let out a small growl, pulling the attention of the rest of them. Todoroki instantly came to his side, wrapping his arms around the Alpha. "I bet she is an amazing grandmother!" Kaminari added, his grin falling from his face as Katsuki shot a glare at him. "A woman who can snag not only All Might's heart but have someone as awesome as Aizawa-sensei! Plus you! It's some family dynamic you've got!"

"I wouldn't know." Katsuki growled. Todoroki purred slightly as he leaned into Katsuki, letting the blonde hold onto him tightly. The others immediately dropped into a silence from Katsuki's words. The range of emotion that swirled in the Alpha's voice caught them all by surprise.

Toshinori sighed. "Katsuki's right. He doesn't know." He paused, watching as the rest of the student's expressions dropped. "Kasumi Aizawa died seventeen years ago."

"W-What happened to her?" Uraraka questioned, tears in her eyes as she spoke.

Toshinori gave another soft smile, his own eyes filling with tears. "A villain attacked a local shopping mall that Kasumi and Shouta happened to be at. Kasumi, of course, jumped right into action. She protected over a hundred people all by herself." He paused, taking in a shaky breath. "Shouta was only fourteen at the time and activated his quirk and the villain went to attack him. This distracted Kasumi long enough for the villain to strike. He managed to cut the artery in her neck and she bled out." He had to stop, composing himself before he could go further. The memories flashing in his mind as he retold the story over again. "Kasumi gave her life protecting the child we brought into this world. Maybe if I had been quicker to get to the scene, I could have saved her. I managed to get her to Shouta but in the end... she died in her own son's arms."

The entire class was crying at this point. Toshinori turned his head to look at Katsuki to see that he had his face buried in Todoroki's hair, concealing any emotions that he might be showing in that moment. "Aizawa-sensei watched his mother die?" Jirou whispered, choking back her own tears.

"I never wanted Shouta to have to feel that pain. I didn't know until later that she had no chance. She had already lost too much blood by the time I arrived." Toshinori muttered, hanging his head to hide his own tears. "I will never get Shouta's cries out of my head. I failed Kasumi that day. I failed Shouta. I vowed that day forward, I would never see that look on my son's face again."

Midoriya looked up from where he had been looking at the floor. "So when he got taken to the battlefield… what did he say to you… if you don't mind telling us?" He questioned, his gaze turning to Katsuki momentarily before looking back to his mentor.

Toshinori sighed softly as he leaned back against the couch. "Shouta and I… it's been years since we've been able to get along. A part of me always believed that he blamed me for what happened to his mother." He paused, forcing his own tears down by blinking multiple times. "He just told me to not give up. That the world still needed me. That he needed me. We talked again in the hospital.. And he told me that he looked up to All Might but he wanted Toshinori Yagi when his mother was gone. That he never stopped believing in me."

The room went into a silence for a moment before suddenly Midoriya's eyes widened and he looked over to his childhood friend. "Wait a second?! That means All Might is your grandfather!" Toshinori snorted as he practically watched the gears in his successor's brain turn. The exclamation seemed to pick up the mood around them and soon the entire room had fallen into a pit of laughter.

"Took you long enough, damn nerd."
