It was a week before the exam season of the first semester of the second year. The usual liveliness of school had turned dimmer as the students of 2-A started to focus more on their studies for the written and practical exam.

Aoi couldn't help but worry.

Truthfully, she thinks she would do good on the written exams, but she had a feeling that she would fail the practical one. Aoi could see her progress in physical training was not doing good. She wasn't built to be a hero... She was an idol!

Maybe... She should ask for help?

It was free study time and Aoi hastily turned on her seat and looked around the class. Midoriya, Ochacho, Asui, and Iida were already in their small group, revising notes. Todoroki and Momo were silently working on revising notes individually. Mineta was creepily drooling over his phone, Aoi couldn't help but shudder.

Everybody already had their groups and Aoi couldn't help but feel down.

A loud growl snapped her out of her thoughts. She whipped her head around to see Bakugo scowling, teaching both Denki and Eijiro. He seemed stressed in teaching the two.

"HOW THE FUCK ARE YOU TWO STILL FLUNKING THIS?! I TOLD YOU FIVE. FUCKING. TIMES!"

Denki and Eijiro winced at Bakugo's scolding. Bakugo noticed her staring, whipped his head, and shouted a "WHAT?!".

Aoi whipped her head with a squeak, avoiding his gaze.

Poor Denki-kun and Eijiro-kun... Good luck with Bakugo-kun...

Bakugo Katsuki... The boy was scary. Aoi used to feel very uncomfortable being near him because of his loud voice, but his two best friends advocated for him saying he's actually a softie inside. She didn't see it at first, but today she saw it with her own eyes as he tried so hard to help Denki and Eijiro with a math equation.

He's a total tsundere...

Aoi sighed as she looked around the class again. They have been pretty used to Bakugo's tantrums by this point and had developed immunity to his loud voice. They didn't even look up, ignoring him and just continued studying with each of their own groups.

Aoi's eyes went to a lone figure at the back of the class. His fluffy purple hair was very eye catching in her eyes, and what shocked her was how he seemed to be studying alone.

Should she...?

Picking up the courage, Aoi took her book and went to the purple haired boy's table. She didn't notice Denki's eyes following her as she did so.

As Aoi got to his table, he looked up with a confused face.

"Can I help you...?"

"Um... Do you want to study together, Shinso-kun?" She asked nervously, clutching her book. Shinso just blinked and looked around the class. He noticed that they were already in groups and Aoi seemed alone and out of place... Hm...

"Sure." He nodded. Aoi gave a blinding smile and almost jumped in excitement.

"I-I'll get my chair!"

Shinso sighed as he watched her go back to her desk to take her chair. What made him wonder was how Kaminari was looking at her with a certain look on his face as Aoi went back to Shinso's table to work with him.

Shinso caught Kaminari's eye and gave a raised eyebrow. Kaminari scowled and went back to his work as Bakugo bonked him with a rolled book on his head. Shinso noticed that Kaminari had a little blush on his cheeks as he rubbed his head.

Hmm... Interesting...

"Are you close with Kaminari, Ayasato-san?" Shinso asked suddenly, curious.

"Oh, you can just call me Aoi, Shinso-kun." Aoi smiled and sat down, opening her textbook, "And I guess you could say so..."

Shinso replied nothing to that as he did an equation. Aoi just wrote notes in her notebook diligently as she rechecked her work. She was sitting across Shinso and couldn't see the rest of the class behind her back. Shinso's eyes found Kaminari's again slightly and went back to his textbook.

He's still looking, huh..."Why are you here, Aoi-san? I noticed you were close to both Kaminari and Kirishima." Shinso asked nonchalantly as he did another question.

"Oh..." Her smile dropped. "I'm a little bit afraid of Bakugo-kun, honestly." She gave a little grimace.

"I get what you mean." Shinso nodded.

"And they seemed very serious on studying. I don't want to be a bother or a distraction." She finished.

You're already a distraction to one enough...

Shinso hummed.

"How about your practical exams? Are you going to train with them as well?" Shinso asked again. Aoi stopped writing and her face turned blank. Her mind processed her answer intently.

"Again, I don't want to bother them... I'll just train on my own." She gave a reassuring smile.

"Do you want to train together?" Shinso offered.

"Do you want to train together?"

Denki didn't know why, but the sentence reached his ears. He saw how Aoi seem to light up (He could only see her back, but Aoi was pretty expressive and readable) and nodded figorously at Shinso's offer. He clutched his pencil and sighed.

"HEY, DUNCE FACE! FOCUS!" Denki got smacked in the head again.

Sigh...

"Yeah, yeah, sorry..." He apologized. Eijiro noticed and turned to him.

"You ok, bro?" He asked while patting Denki's shoulder in comfort.

"I'm fine..."

The three continued studying then. Denki's eyes kept following Aoi's form. She seemed to be sitting pretty close to Shinso... Denki was reminded of the time when Aoi tutored him. She had been pretty close as she scooted to show him how to do the equations with the formulas...

His heart beat faster when she did that.

But when she does it to another guy...

Denki watched her lean closer to Shinso as she pointed to something in his textbook as she circled something. Her hair fell from the side of her face, and subconsciously Aoi put it back behind her ear.

Denki's heart clenched.

He wanted to see the action up close. He wanted to be the guy in front of her, not Shinso. He wanted her to look at him like he's the only one in the world with that beautiful golden eyes of hers.

He groaned as he imagined it.

"Are you sure you're ok, bro? You're clenching your pencil a bit too hard." Eijiro pointed out as he worriedly looked out to his friend.

"Yeah, I'm fine." Denki gave an assuring smile.

The bell rung not soon after and the class got ready to go home. Denki let out a deep sigh as he watched Aoi say goodbye to Shinso and went back to her desk with her chair to tidy up her stuff.

He quickly got on his feet and went over to Aoi.

"Need help, Aoi-chan?" He offered with a grin.

"Oh? Sure! Thank you, Denki-kun." Aoi smiled as Denki took the chair from Aoi. The two walked to her Desk and Aoi tidied up her belongings.

Denki gulped.

Here goes nothing.

"Do you want to go get dinner together, Aoi-chan?" Denki bravely asked as his cheeks rosed.

"I would love to, but I already have an appointment for this afternoon, Denki-kun. I'm sorry..." Aoi felt bad and gave him a little smile.

"Really? With who?" He asked as he felt his heart clenched.

"With Shinso-kun,"

His heart dropped at the answer.

"He offered to train together with his little sister for the exams earlier, sorry..." Aoi looked down as he stilled.

"It's alright..."

"Ready?" Shinso stood beside the two as he held his bag.

"Yeah, I'm done." Aoi smiled to Shinso as she put her backpack on. She turned to Denki-kun and gave a smile.

"See you later, Denki-kun!"

With that, the two walked side by side as they left the classroom together. Eijiro came to Denki's side with his backpack.

"Don't worry, bro. I'm sure it's nothing." Eijiro assured with a pat on the shoulder as he followed Denki's line of sight, watching Aoi and Shinso walk away in conversation.

"I sure hope it's nothing..." Denki dejectedly walk out of the class.

Eijiro sighed. Mina walked to his side with a confused look on her face.

"Um... What happened?" She asked unsurely as she looked at Denki's slouch.

"Kaminari has it down bad."

"Ah, good morning, Hitoshi-kun!" Aoi greeted as the boy went out of the dorm elevators. She had just went down as well.

Denki who was talking to Kirishima (he was actually waiting for Aoi) by the side suddenly stopped his chatter.

"Have you slept well?" Aoi asked and gave a smile to Hitoshi as he shrugged.

"I guess..." The two walked and talked about their training yesterday. Aoi seemed pretty excited based on her tone of voice and gestures. Aoi noticed Denki and Eijiro as she and Hitoshi walked to the door.

"Good morning, Denki-kun! Eijiro-kun!" Aoi happily greeted them with her iconic smile.

"Morning, Aoi-chan!" Denki gave a smile. It didn't fully reach his eyes as Aoi was next to Hitoshi. Eijiro greeted her with a greeting of his own. Denki waited for her usual morning chatter. She usually greeted him and they talked as they walked to class.

"See you two in class!" Aoi waved as she kept walking, focused on talking to Hitoshi as the two walked to class.

Denki gaped as he saw the two walk away.

"Uh-oh..." Kirishima mumbled.

It felt like Aoi's slowly out of his grasp. Denki thought he was the only boy she could talk to like that... But there seemed to be another who could.

It was three days later after Aoi and Shinso became friends.

"Considering she's a famous idol... Bound to be loved by many... Plus she's also nice... And pretty-- no, beautiful! Aoi's beautiful! She could pick anyone she wants as a boyfriend!" Denki ranted to Eijiro as the two were snacking on the kitchen. There was only two of them there, as most of their classmates had went to go train, rest, or study.

"Yeah, yeah," Eijiro nodded as he listened to Denki's rant. The two were making instant noodles.

"First Todoroki, now it's Shinso, and then who's next? Bakugo?!" Denki said, exhasperatedly. Eijiro felt like he finally cracked. His old, panicky self was peeking through.

"Bakubro and Aoi-chan? I don't know, man..."

"The hell are you two fuckers shouting out my name for?" Said boy scowled as he looked at the two.

"GAH! It's nothing!" Denki held his hand out to avoid Bakugo's anger. Bakugo just rolled his eyes. Eijiro raised his eyebrow, noticing the boy's not actually mad for once. Eijiro's eyes went down as he noticed Bakugo was shirtless.

"What are you doing here, Bakubro? I thought you were training? And where is your top?" Eijiro asked, Bakugo scowled.

"That damned Blueberry spilled water on me!" Bakugo ranted as he opened the fridge to take a bottle of cold water.

"Blueberry?" Eijiro asked.

Oh no no no...

"Tch. That idol!" Bakugo further explained. He gulped down water quickly in annoyance. Denki and Eijiro finally noticed the crumpled black top in his other hand.

"You mean Aoi-chan?" Eijiro asked again, shocked.

"WHO ELSE?!" Bakugo slammed the fridge. Denki gaped.

Denki spoke too soon.

Hurried footsteps was then heard. It was Aoi. She was sweating and had a worried look on her face.

"Bakugo-kun! I'm so sorry!" She apologized with a bow.

"HAH?! What are you sorry for, you damned Blueberry!" Bakugo twitched as he walked in front of the girl.

"B-But your shirt!"

"IT'S NOT A DAMN PROBLEM!" He roughly shoves her to move out of the way from the kitchen. He went upstairs to change.

"What did you do to Bakugo, Aoi-chan?" Kirishima asked as Aoi took a bottle of water from the fridge.

"I was training alone today and accidentally tripped into him while I was drinking my water..." Aoi sighed as she gulped down the cold drink.

Alone?

"Weren't you supposed to be training with Shinso?" Denki asked as he and Eijiro turned off the stove.

"Oh, Hitoshi-kun is training with Hitomi-chan, his sister today." Aoi explained with a smile. She wiped her forehead with the towel on her shoulder.

"How did you fell on top of Bakugo?"

...

Silence.

Aoi's face blushed at the question while the two boys in front of her was looking at her, waiting for her answer.

"A-Ah... I asked Bakugo to train with me today and--"

"HEY BLUEBERRY! YOU WANT TO TRAIN OR NOT?" Bakugo shouted from the living room. Aoi squeaked and quickly turned around to face the ash blonde.

"C-Coming!" She said scaredly. She turned back to Denki and Eijiro again.

"I-- I'm sorry... I'll explain later. See you, Denki-kun, Eijiro-kun!" Aoi quickly took two new bottles from the fridge and ran to Bakugo who was in the living room, waiting for her.

Denki watched as Bakugo scolded her with his usual angry tone. Aoi bowed, feeling bad. She held out a bottle of cold water for Bakugo to take. Bakugo grunted and bonked her head softly as he mumbled something incoherent. Aoi stood up straight after that and smiled. Bakugo blushed a little, but still ran his potty mouth off as the two went out of the dorms to train again.

Denki whipped his head to Kirishima.

"DID YOU SEE THAT!?" Denki pointed to the two figures who were walking away. "I spoke too soon. NOW SHE'S FALLING ON TOP OF BAKUGO!"

Eijiro sighed.

"I'M NO MATCH FOR THAT PECS MAN! HAVE YOU SEEN HIS MUSCLE?!"

"Kaminari, calm down!" Eijiro held him from breaking down.

"Out of all of the people I could fall in love with... It has to be someone who's way superior than me..."

"...I think Aoi's just scared of Bakugo..."

"DID YOU NOT SEE HIS BLUSH?! I'VE NEVER SEEN HIM THAT NICE TO ANY GIRL BEFORE!"

"I mean, if a cute girl like Aoi-chan smiled to me..."

"Argh!" Denki banged his head to a nearby wall.

"Don't worry too much, bro. Aoi-chan told you she would explain everything later right?" Eijiro patted Denki's shoulder with one hand as his other held the bowl of instant noodles he made.

"B-But!"

"I think you should wait for Aoi-chan's explanations before you overthink yourself." Eijiro advised. Denki sighed.

"Okay..."
