It's 2015. Lauren and Dean have been married for six months, Seth is secretly back in the fold, and things are generally looking up. Until Steph and Hunter reveal the latest Authority scheme and an unexpected visitor turns up at the house with trouble not too far behind. Honestly, it's a good thing Lauren has a sense of humor, and Dean, because this time, she's going to need both.

27. Author's Note

So, time for an update...

Over the last couple of years, my mum has been battling cancer, and I have been her main carer. Throughout all of it, I've kept on writing, even when it felt like all of my mojo had dried up, because I still had stories I wanted to tell.

Finally, I think I've told them all. Or at least, I've told them all for now, because I'm not saying that I won't come back (I still have inklings of ideas, but they're not banging to get out like they used to).

It's been almost four years of posting non-stop every week, or every two weeks and I think I've earned a bit of a break. But trust me when I say I appreciate everyone who has followed, reviewed and cheered me along, no matter which story you joined in on. Hopefully, until I come back, you can enjoy re-reading some of the other ordeals I've put Dean through (sorry Dean...well, kind of...okay, not really) but most importantly, in the meantime, stay happy and healthy.
