Chapter 64

ARIZONA'S P.O.V:

I rushed down the hall as fast as I could to get to my Elements of Music class. As I got closer, I noticed my professor was about to close the door .

"Wait!" I shout. She must have heard me because she then pokes her head out.

"Next time be on time, Ms. Robbins." She yells before disappearing.

"I'm so sorry," I say as I enter the room.

"Save it. Take a seat." She barks out, "People, I expect you to be on time. Don't be like Ms. Robbins here and show up right as class is about to start." She looks over at me, and gives me a death glare. I just roll my eyes, then take the only available seat in the middle row. "Alright! I sure hope you read the four chapters last night because today is the perfect day for a pop quiz,"

"Fuck!" I whisper under my breath. The brunette sitting beside me must have heard because she looks over at me and starts giggling.

"I take it you didn't read the chapters?" she asks. I slightly shake my head, "Don't worry, neither did I."

"This quiz will be on whatever you read over last night. If you didn't read it, then you have screwed yourselves because this is not an open-book quiz. Use your brain, if you have one. Now, take one and pass them back. Once you have one, turn it face down," She says, passing out the quizzes for each row. Finally getting to my row, she looks right at me, "Ms. Robbins, I hope you read the chapters because I will know. Do you know how? Because I'm Professor Miranda Bailey, I always know," I take my quiz and turn it face down as instructed. As my professor hands out the last of the quizzes, she announces, "You have the entire class to complete the quiz. This is all we're doing today, so once you are done, you may leave. Does everyone have one?"

"Yes!" The entire class says at once.

She gives us a slight nod then says, "You may begin," We all turn our papers over and start our quiz.

After thirty minutes, I finally completed my quiz. I give it a quick look over, making sure I didn't miss anything. Once I knew I got them all, I get up, grab my bag then head up to put my quiz on Professor Bailey's desk.

"All done, Robbins?"

"Yes-s, Ma'am," I stammer.

"Okay, well you can go," She tells me, "But be on time, tomorrow,"

"Yes, Ma'am," I say again, then head out of the room. After exiting the room, I let out a sigh of relief, then reach in my pocket for my phone and pull up Callie's number. When I get her voicemail, I leave her a quick message then hang up. I have a slight break in between classes so I take a seat in one of the lounge areas of our music building. I pull out my textbook and read over the chapters that I hadn't finished last night. I'm so focused on my textbook, I nearly jump out of my seat when I felt a hand touch my shoulder. Letting a loud gasp, my textbook falls to the floor with a plop.

"Oh my god, I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to scare you," the young girl says to me. It was the same brunette I sat next to in class.

"No, It's okay," I say, leaning down to pick up my textbook, "I was so focused on going back over everything, I didn't hear you walking up,"

"That quiz was a bitch huh," she says with a nervous chuckle.

"Yeah, a little bit. How do you think you did?"

"Not sure, I guess we will find out, won't we,"

"Yeah, I guess so," looking at the brunette, I realized that even though we've been in the same class the last four weeks, we still hadn't officially met, "I'm Arizona, by the way. Arizona Robbins." I add, holding my hand out to shake.

"We actually met before. Through my sister, Meredith. I'm Lexie Grey," She replies, exchanging a handshake and a smile.

"Oh, Lexie, right," I say with a chuckle, "I remember now. You were two grades below us,"

"That's right," She says with a smile, "Anyway, what's your next class?"

"Oh, right," I say, looking at the clock on the wall, "I have Sound Editing next. and I'm going to be late once again if I don't get there,"

"Well, I'll walk with you. I have the same class," she tells me. I stand up and we walk to our next class together.

Walking into the house after a long day of classes, I see Callie leaning against the kitchen counter, Noah on her left hip, cell phone in her right hand. For the last week or so, she's been on the phone discussing business stuff with Addie or Doug, but today judging by the soft tone in her voice, this call isn't about business.

"Yeah, come over whenever. Dinner will be ready at 6," I hear her telling the person on the other line. I furrow my brow in confusion, wondering who she's inviting over. After a long day of classes, I just wanted to have a quiet night, but apparently, Callie had different plans. She gives me a megawatt smile when she sees me. "Alright, Teds, we will see you guys in a little bit, bye," She ends the call quickly as I move closer to where I'm standing right next to her. "Hey, how was class?"

"So, Tim and Teddy are coming for dinner?" I ask, ignoring her question.

"Yeah, I figured we all could have dinner together and tell them about the new baby,"

"So, you made these plans without talking to me first?" I ask dryly, "What if I didn't want to say anything just yet?"

"Arizona, you're twelve and a half weeks, I think it's time we said something,"

"Okay, what if we tell them, then something happens to this one too?"

"Really? You're really going there? I thought we've been over this. Dr. Capshaw said that everything looked.."

"I don't care what Dr. Capshaw says," I spit out, "There's still a possible chance we could lose this baby too."

"Okay, what's with this attitude tonight? Did something happen in class today?"

"Maybe.." I say flatly, crossing my arms, "First off, I was late to class, then Professor Bailey surprises us all with a quiz today,"

"What?" She asks, eyes going wide.

"Yeah, a fucking pop quiz. Over the chapters, we were supposed to read last night,"

"Whoa!" was all she could get out.

"Yeah. and I won't know how I did until tomorrow,"

"Okay, so what's the problem?"

"The problem is, Callie, I told you I had to read my chapters last night, but no, you had other plans,"

"I didn't hear you complaining last night," she says with a smirk.

"You really that think this is funny?"

"Kind of.."

"You know what.." I say, never finishing my sentence, "Come here, baby boy," I take Noah from her, then head into the living room. Callie, of course, follows right behind me. I take a seat on the couch, standing Noah up on my thighs. I give my son a smile, which he returns, then lets out a squeal.

"Oh come on, Arizona, it's not that bad," She tries telling me, then takes the seat next to me "It's just one pop quiz, it's not like it's a final or anything,"

"We're not talking about this anymore, Callie."

"Fine. Do you have any assignments to do tonight?" I give a shake of my head, then go back to giving Noah attention. This has been the first night in the last four and a half weeks that I was able to spend with him since I started classes. "

"So, it's just Tim and Teddy tonight?" I ask without looking at my wife.

"Actually.." she drawls out. I turn my head to look at her and judging by the look on her face, were going to have more company than just my brother and sister-in-law, "My dad is in town also, so he will be joining us too,"

"You're dads in town?" I couldn't help but smile when she mentioned her dad.

"Yep!" she answers with a smile, "and he really wants to see us, doesn't he Noah. Oh and Aria is coming over too,"

"Well then, I guess that isn't so bad, huh bud," I coo at my 9 and a half month old. Thinking about the fact that my brother, sister-in-laws and my father-in-law were going to be here, an idea strikes my mind. I look at Callie, a mischievous smirk playing on my face.

"What?" She asks in wonder.

"I just thought of an idea. What time did you say they were going to be here?" I ask her, wanting to make sure I have enough time to put together my idea on how to tell them about the new baby.

"Um...I told them 6. Why?"

"That's an hour from now. I should have enough time then,"

"Enough time for what?"

"Just wait and see," I say, flashing her a dimpled smile. I stand up and hand Noah back over to my wife, then go and grab my keys off the hook, then head out the door.

*So, they're going to tell some of the family about the new baby finally and Arizona knows exactly how she wants to do it. More updates to come. Sorry if it was boring. Just wanted to get another update in*
