Disclaimer: I do not own Rave Master
Hello guys. I don't think anyone who is on this page is an old fan of this fanfiction since I've been on hiatus for over six years. But now I'm at least trying to update it just like a few other of my fanfictions, still trying to do the fanfictions people want to read, anyways thank you and hope this new chapter was worth the wait (ha)

"Deo is just so hungry! Must friend steal Deo's one scrumptious?"
"A: It's my only food you hair thief. B: I am not nor would I ever want to be friends with a thief. C: You didn't just take my sword—how am I suppose to defend myself against these beasts without a weapon?!"
Keitsu was so close to Deo now he could almost wrangle him by his hairy little neck. It helped that the little beast dragged his sword leaving a path for him to follow, but he was so nimble for a spry little thing. Just when he thought he had him, he jumped through a crack in the wall of a cave, but Keitsu grabbed the sword and yanked it out of his small paws before he could get away from him.
"Good riddance." Keitsu said to the crack while clutching the handle of his sword with both hands.
There was more he wanted to rant, however, the timing would be inappropriate; closing his eyes he could hear a guttural sound...airborne...North of where he was standing. And then—the two beasts who loomed over him since he started chasing the miscreant Deo swooped down with rows of white teeth all serrated and white like the teeth of a Venus flytrap, or like Mr. Flytrap back on the island.
These creatures had grayish blue skin or scales glinting under the sunlight, elongated arms and legs with three sharp talons on each metacarpal, ghostly white eyes devoid of any pupils or irises as if they were already dead, white underbellies, and rows of corroded black spikes protruding from their ridges. They extended their claws out to grip onto Keitsu!
"No big reptile is going to take me away!" Keitsu shouted, blindly swinging his sword in a furious pattern of swashing it left and right. "Just leave me alo..."
His sword hummed as a rune glowered in the flat. Just the glowing light of the rune was enough to cause the flying beasts to screech before they quickly flew away. Keitsu looked closely at the rune, it was basically a line with three curves that looked like C's sticking out on the left side while a few other lines were adjacent to it. For a fleeting moment he thought the sword would do something amazing like explode or shoot a laser beam but no it just glowed then ceased only showing him his own reflection. He had dirt on his cheeks and a little smudge on his nose, if he didn't also get something for his hair it would be permanently greasy.
"Not bad for a one-day head start, kid."
Keitsu drastically spun around with his sword vibrating in his hand. He faced the man he didn't want to meet ever again: the man who hurt Raiko.
He raised his eyebrows. "What's the matter? Not even going to say 'hello'?"
Keitsu was tempted to hack his sword right now, but he knew someone as vile as him was just silently goading him to do it so he would make a first and final mistake. Keitsu just let his feet step over each other as he glared intently at him. He took of his hat, blew in it, then put it back on his head.
"Your friend was very ept with that mace of his. One swing out of that thing and he could crack my toys. If your wondering how I made it here, I was skidding through the water on top of my favorite blue ball. I arrived fifty patters of an hourglass after you did, and what a venture you had with that hairy little thing trying to grab what clearly wasn't it's. Before I kill you...do you have any questions for me?"
Keitsu half-closed his eyes while tightening his grip on his blade. The man smiled in a way that made him just want to see his head lop off into the water so the sharks could eat him.
"That's fine; I was only going to answer the question of what happened to your friend after you left."
At first he toyed with Keistu just letting his hat roll down his left hand before twirling around quickly, letting the hat fall into his extended left hand again swiveled to the other side before letting it roll up his sleeve and flip back on his head.
His letting his hat wheel down his extended arm was a sight to beheld, but Keitsu was too enraged to let a man clearly unfettered with his life get to him while wondering what happened to Raiko.
"Originally we were going to feed him to a bunch of ravenous hexapod's that love humans, me and my group in a different way, but in the end...we decided to send him to a slave camp where he will, well, let's say there's a pace they like to see and until they see it...he won't even get to eat, drink, or sleep."
"AUUGHHHH!"
