A/N: It's been forever since I've written Deckerstar, but after the recent season... I hope I haven't lost my touch.
This contains spoilers, if you haven't seen season 5 yet, I suggest you watch it first. I'm merely adding to the ending. :)
Hope you enjoy.
It was past midnight by the time everything had been, somewhat, settled.
Maze returned to hell with her allies.
Michael was taken to heaven for further judgement.
All the angels returned as well, except for Amenadiel, who gratefully returned to Linda and Charlie.
That left Lucifer and Chloe.
Lucifer flew them back to Chloe's house.
They had barely talked throughout the whole ordeals.
When they arrived, he let Chloe down, but still let her use him for support.
She was alive and well, but he hadn't had the chance to properly check her injuries.
"You doing okay?" Lucifer finally spoke when they were inside the house.
"Yeah. I think so." Chloe turned to him.
"May I?" He gestured at her still bloodied shirt.
That's what bothered him.
Chloe looked down at his point of focus, "Oh. Yeah."
Lucifer carefully lifted the hem of her shirt only high enough to reveal her abdomen.
There was the slightest sign of a scar, but no blood.
Lucifer let out a quiet laugh of disbelief as he gently placed a hand there.
Chloe soon placed her hand over his, before their eyes met again.
"Lucifer, I... how did you do it? I mean... the ring... it was the only thing keeping you alive up there?" Chloe asked, her voice cracking slightly.
Lucifer sighed, gently caressing her cheek with his other hand, "It was all a blur really. I felt my body combust, but... Then I was whole again. I don't know where I was... but I could hear your voice, and suddenly, I was back at the stadium."
Chloe looked confused, but decided not to question more.
"Did you mean it?" She asked.
Now it was Lucifer's turn to be confused, but quickly figured it out.
His last words.
"Yes." He said in a whisper, cupping her other cheek.
Chloe smiled, tears filling her eyes, "Say it. Just one more time, please."
Lucifer smiled, leaning down to rest his forehead against hers, "I'll say it as many times as you like... I love you, Chloe."
Chloe smiled, a stray tear running down her cheek.
Lucifer easily caught it with his thumb, "Why are you crying?"
Chloe laughed lightly, trying to hide it, "Nothing, I just... I'm glad you're okay... I love you too, Lucifer."
She wrapped an arm around the back of his neck, bringing him closer until-
"My Lord." A male voice sounded with a ruffle of wings.
Lucifer let out a groan of frustration before pulling away, turning to the owner of the voice.
"Excuse me, Zadkiel, we were having a moment."
"Forgive me, but there is paperwork to be done in Heaven. We have accepted you as our new leader, but we need to make it... official." Zadkiel says, bowing his head.
Lucifer sighed, "I'll be up there first thing in the morning, for now, everyone just rest."
"Yes, sir." Zadkiel said, then with a spread of wings, he was gone.
Lucifer shook his head, before-
"Hey, Zadkiel!"
The angel reappeared again, "Yes?"
"Mazikeen is in hell retrieving a soul, I'd like you to allow her in heaven and insure the soul is put in its rightful home." Lucifer explained, glancing at Chloe as he said so, who's eyes slowly widened.
Zadkiel hesitated for a couple seconds, before nodding, "Yes sir."
With that, they were alone again.
It was quiet for a long time.
"The... soul. Is that...?" Chloe started, voice cracking again.
"Yes. I assure you I had no intention of him being there, if it were up to me, which it is now, he only ended up there because of his guilt, I never-"
"Lucifer, shh. I know, you had no control over it, I don't blame you." Chloe closed the distance between them, pulling him into her arms.
Lucifer slowly put his arms around her, resting his chin on her shoulder.
He held her for what felt like hours before she finally pulled away, wiping at her eyes
"Um... so, h-how does this work? Do I call you god now or...?" Chloe asked.
Lucifer chuckled, "Lucifer is fine, of course you can call me whatever you want." He gave her a mischievous smile.
Chloe smiled, letting out a short giggle, reaching up to caress his cheek, seeming really interested in the stubble there.
Lucifer let her explore while he rested a hand against her hair.
The distance between them lessened, and Lucifer could feel the Detective's warm breath on his face.
They almost didn't hear the sound of wings fill the room.
"Bloody hell." Lucifer rolled his eyes, turning to the new angel.
"Wow. What a day. I gotta say, my bets were always with you, but, you know..."
"The next angel who walks in here without using the door are going to have their wings torn off with my bare hands." Lucifer almost growled.
The smile disappeared from Gabriel's face.
Lucifer sighed, "What is it?"
"Nothing. Zadkiel dared me to come down here... byeeee." Gabriel said before disappearing.
Lucifer sighed. "I swear to me. Sorry, Detective, I'll set up some new rules when I go up there tomorrow m-"
Lucifer was broken off when she cupped his face in her hands, and pulled him down, crushing their lips together.
He tensed for a few seconds before quickly relaxing, returning the kiss, pulling her closer.
The kiss lasted a few wonderful seconds before Chloe pulled away, taking a deep breath, "Just shut up and kiss me before the next angel break and enters my house."
Lucifer grinned at her before doing as she said.
Their lips met again in a hunger frenzy.
Chloes hands fisted into his hair, pulling him close, if that were possible.
Lucifers hands trailed down until they found the hem of her shirt again before completely discarding it from her body.
His lips trailed down to her neck, to her chest, kissing and worshipping every part of her.
"Bed, Lucifer." Chloe managed out, thoughts distorted.
Lucifer obliged, lifting her up, her legs wrapped around his waist as he guided them to the bedroom, lips never parting, except for the occasional removal of clothing.
He gently laid her down before crawling in after, making a path of open-mouthed kisses starting at her lower abdomen, to her ribs, breasts, chest, neck, chin.
He broke away to meet her beautiful blue eyes.
Chloe smiled, a hand running up his arm, to his shoulder, "I want to see all of you."
Lucifer let out a breath, unable to deny her anything.
Soon, his pure white wings were out, spread out above them.
They were a little messy from the heavy battle they endured, but in good shape.
Chloe gasped, smiling, "They're... beautiful. May I?"
Lucifers breath caught in his throat.
Angel's wings weren't really meant for touching, only flying and fighting.
"Yes." He found himself saying without thinking. "Just... be careful."
With that, he slowly lowered one of his wings.
He wasn't sure what to expect.
No one had ever touched his wings. Let alone a human.
But... this was Chloe.
Chloe was hesitant, her hand lingering just a few inches from the wing.
Lucifer tensed when her hand finally brushed against the feathers.
"Did that hurt?" Chloe let go, eyes full of worry.
"No. Not at all, it's just... new. Keep going." Lucifer said.
Chloe searched his face for any signs of hidden pain, when she found none, she gently ran her hand down the curve of his wing.
It was hard, but the feathers were softer than anything she'd ever felt.
"Beautiful." She whispered.
"As are you." Lucifer said, caressing her cheek again.
Their lips met again in a gentle kiss that quickly grew heated.
Chloe's hand moved from his wing to his shoulder blade, her legs wrapping around his waist.
From there, it felt like the world had slowed down, just for them.
Their bodies moved together, holding onto each other like their life depended on it.
The sun was barely peeking out of the clouds.
Lucifer lay awake, Chloe sleeping soundly against him, her head resting on his chest.
He never wanted to leave this moment.
His thoughts began wandering.
Now that he was God, what did he have to do?
Chloe had expressed those worries before, but, Lucifer didn't think he'd make it this far.
Now that he was, what was next?
He was pulled from those worries when he felt Chloe stir next to him.
"Hmmm. Good morning." Chloe mumbled sleepily.
"Good morning, detective. How are you feeling?" Lucifer asked, his hand absentmindedly running up and down her back.
"I'm fine. You?" She asked, resting her arms and chin onto his chest to focus on him.
"I'm good."
"Hmm. What time is it?" Chloe asked, glancing over at the clock, "7:30. So, when do you have to..." She pointed up.
"Whenever I feel up to it." Lucifer sighed.
Chloe smiled, "Well. I'd hate for an angel to come in on us like this."
Lucifer chuckled, "We'd give them a good show."
He pressed his lips to hers in a sweet, chaste kiss.
Chloe laughed but kissed him back.
"I love you." Lucifer whispered.
"I love you too." She replied, resting her forehead against his.
Lucifer sighed, content. He could stay this way forever.
"Well. We should probably get up. I need to shower and go pick up Trixie. That should give you enough time to deal with heaven." Chloe said, heading off into the bathroom.
Lucifer scoffed, his head hitting the pillow again, "You're such a tease."
"And you love it." She called back.
Lucifer smiled. She wasn't wrong.
He laid there for a couple more minutes before getting out of bed, searching for his lost clothes.
Once dressed, he went into the kitchen to start breakfast.
No. He most certainly was not holding off going to heaven for as long as he could.
Chloe walked in 15 minutes later, dressed, and a towel covering her hair.
"Oh. You're still here." She said.
"Tired of me already?" Lucifer asked as he flipped a pancake.
Chloe laughed, wrapped her arms around him from behind, resting her head on his shoulder, "Of course not... Mmm. Looks good."
"Hmmm. Not as good as you." Lucifer smirked, turning to glance at her.
Lucifer fixed her a plate, then one for himself.
While they were eating, Chloe got a call from the police department.
"A case. Need help?" Lucifer offered when she hung up.
"Nah. I think I can handle it. Sounded like a simple lead. Don't worry about it. I know you have a lot of things you gotta get done." Chloe said.
Lucifer gave her a look, eyes almost saddened, "Alright. Well, if you need help, or need me for whatever reason. Pray, and I'll be there. You're just as important to me as heaven. Know that."
"I know." Chloe said, giving his hand a gentle squeeze, "I know you're worried, but, I'm not. I have faith in you, Lucifer. Whatever happens, we'll make it through. We always do."
Lucifer smiled, leaning in to give her a short kiss. "I'll be back soon."
With that. Chloe was alone.
She finished up her pancakes before letting Linda know she was on her way to take Trixie to school.
Things were going to be different now.
Chloe glanced at the ring on her finger.
Maybe that wouldn't be a bad thing...
A/N: Wow. I couldn't find a stopping point and just kept writing...
Anyway. Hope you enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed the 3 hours spent writing it.
