The day was coming to the end as the sun had already set and the moon was in the sky. Many people were already going back into their homes and had begun settling for the night while preparing for the next day. It was the same in the Mathers Mansion as everybody were concluding their own businesses. After the Sanctuary incident, things have calmed down for the better.

In a room, there was a black-haired boy in a sweater and a gothic girl with blonde twin-tailed hair sitting on the edge of the bed. They both held hands with each other with closed eyes but not in the romantic sense. In fact, Beatrice was currently draining mana from Subaru's gate as per their contract

"There, all done I suppose."

Beatrice let go of his hand with a sigh as she felt her mana replenished to a degree. Subaru's mana nature was of good affinity with her as both of them had Yin Magic. Absorbing mana always brought a refreshing feeling to her body as she couldn't absorb it naturally so it was one of the few things she enjoyed.

Subaru closed and opened his fist repeatedly, feeling a little drained but not to the extent that it would hinder his movements. He was already used to this process by now and it was for Beatrice's sake so he had no problem with it. In fact, he even felt better as he felt that his clogged-up gate was cleaned up.

"Thanks as usual, Beako!"

"Hmph! You can go to Emilia-sama now that you're done here." Beatrice turned her head with crossed arms as she cutely pouted her cheeks.

Subaru scratched his cheeks at Beatrice's remark. Usually after this, Subaru would prepare to go to bed with Beatrice. Beatrice seemed to enjoy his company and it soon became a habit between the two.

So, when Subaru told Beatrice that Emilia had wanted to talk with him at night today, Beatrice didn't take it very well. Seeing that Beatrice wasn't looking at him, Subaru smiled as he picked up Beatrice by the armpits and lightly threw her up in the air before catching her and then repeating the process.

"There, there, Beako!"

"Wha- stop that right now! Betty isn't a child, I suppose!" Betty flailed her arms around and kicked her legs. Betty's face was bright red in embarrassment as she tried to escape but to no avail. Subaru found her tantrum cute as he continued to throw her up in the air, laughing.

After he had his fun, Subaru let Beatrice down as he then began to make his way to Emilia's room. As he walked through the hallways, he found himself nervous. He didn't know what Emilia would want this late at night. When a woman calls a man to her room this late at night alone, one can only think of one reason.

'No, no, no, Emilia-tan wouldn't think of something like that. Wait, but didn't she recently tell me that she loved me? It's very possible that she might- no, no, Subaru, don't think of Emilia-tan like that! Maybe she needs me for something? But why couldn't she ask me then instead of calling me this late at night? I can't think of anything else. She has been more assertive ever since she confessed to me and made me her knight…"

The image of Emilia in her beautiful dress immediately popped up in his head. During the knighting ceremony, Subaru was only reminded why Emilia was an angel. The way her dress emphasized her curves was enough to stir any man's heart and Subaru was no exception.

"Are you done fantasizing about that half-elf?"

A voice rang out causing Subaru to jump a little. However, realizing who was speaking, he looked down towards the black pendant at his chest accusingly. The black pendant gave a sparkle from the reflection of the light as the voice continued to speak.

"If it was going to be like this, then you would be better off spending time with me. Her mind is just like a child so anything that half-elf comes up with will be something stupid."

"Hey, you don't know that! Besides, Emilia-tan isn't a child! She just has a bit less common sense than other people!"

"Hmmm, 'a bit less' is an understatement." Echidna gave her opinion to the exasperated Subaru. The white-haired witch commented on things that she either found interesting or annoying. Of course, Emilia belonged to the latter.

"At the very least, with me, you wouldn't need to fantasize. In fact, there are times you just force yourself onto me-"

"Ahem, that's enough!" Subaru cleared his throat at Echidna's sentence.

Echidna, the Witch of Greed. Most people would stay away when hearing such a notorious title. However, Subaru was currently in a contract with her. While the way he formed the contract with her was somewhat dubious, it was with her help that he was able to overcome the Sanctuary incident.

If there was one thing he had to nitpick about the contract however, it would be how his privacy was compromised. Echidna had access to all of his thoughts, claiming it was a necessary precaution so that she could protect and help him when needed but it felt more as an excuse to just harass him more often than not. Even now, just thinking that she was also hearing this was very embarrassing.

Thankfully, Echidna seemed to stay quiet for now after his command. Subaru hoped it stayed that way as he found himself in front of Emilia's door. Taking a deep breath, he knocked on the door and waited. He didn't wait too long before the door slightly opened.

"Subaru-kun? Is that you?" Emilia appeared through the crack of the door with a smile, trying to confirm he was there. Subaru brightened up at her response but immediately waved his hands in front of his face upon seeing her.

"Emilia-ta-tan! Your clothes…!" Emilia was wearing a loose, white nightgown and while it wasn't specifically erotic, it was far from an appropriate attire when greeting guests. It didn't help that her gown had a dangerously low neckline so that if it drooped down a little more, he would see her breasts.

"? Is there something wrong about my clothes? It was nighttime so I wanted to wear something more comfortable. If Subaru-kun doesn't like it, then I can-"

"No, it's fine! Emilia-tan doesn't need to go out of her way for me! You can wear whatever you want! You can even wear something disgusting and you'll still look cute!"

"You're getting quite excited for someone who you claim to only see as a sister."

Subaru ignored Echidna as he kept giving compliments to Emilia. He was already used to Echidna giving her snide comments whenever Emilia was involved. Thankfully, Emilia wasn't turned off by Subaru's praises as she giggled.

"Really, stupid Subaru-kun!" Emilia opened the door for him, allowing Subaru to come into her room. Emilia went to sit at the edge of her bed and patted the spot next to her. Subaru accepted as he sat next to her.

"So, Emilia-tan. What did you want this late at night?" Subaru blushed as Emilia tucked her silver hair behind her ear, exposing her naked nape. She was making herself so vulnerable in front of him that his self-control was being extremely tested. He was sure that she wasn't doing this intentionally but it didn't change the fact that she was tempting him.

"You know… Subaru-kun… I have a favor to ask." Emilia looked nervous as she seemed to be worrying over something.

"What is it, Emilia-tan?" Subaru leaned in, showing her that she had his full attention.

"I want you…"

Subaru gulped but Emilia wasn't done.

"…to help me meet Echidna!"

"Huh?"

"Huh?"

Subaru and Echidna were taken back by the unexpected request as Emilia realized that she needed to explain more.

"I haven't properly given my thanks to her for helping me back then so I was wondering if you had some way to meet Echidna since you're in a contract with her. I know that you want to keep your contract a secret so I decided to wait until night to not attract attention."

"So that's what you wanted." Subaru gave a sigh of relief. If that's all she wanted, then it was a pretty simple request to fulfill. The only problem was…

"No. I have no obligation nor desire to see that half-elf, let alone talk to her. Just tell her I'm not interested or make up something nice and pass it along as my words. That will surely appease her."

Subaru figured that Echidna wasn't going to be cooperative. It was no surprise considering Echidna didn't like her. Emilia misinterpreted Subaru's expression and gave a sad smile.

"Ah, is it impossible? It's fine if you can't, Subaru-kun. Sorry to burden you with this."

Emilia gave him permission to leave but as her knight, Subaru didn't want to fall short of her expectations. Sure, Echidna had told him not to reveal his contract with others but since Emilia already knew, surely, he should be allowed to do this much.

He grabbed Emilia's hand, taking her by surprise, and grabbed his black pendant with the other hand. He didn't know if what he was about to do was possible but he might as well give it a try.

He began to close his eyes as he began to focus.

"Eh, wait! Stop! Don't you dare bring her here. I won't allow it! Hey, are you listening?!"

Echidna realized Subaru's intention and tried to stop him but Subaru was already feeling the pulse from the black crystal become stronger and stronger. His contract allowed him to come into Echidna's dream world anytime so she wouldn't be able to stop him.

"Subaru-kun?" Emilia could also feel a pulse reverberating from Subaru's body into hers. While she didn't know what was happening, she decided to trust Subaru and leave it in his hands as the pulse continued to get stronger.

In a flash, they were in Echidna's dream world.

"This is…" Emilia recognized the grassland and the tea table on the small hill instantly. How could she forget? This was where Echidna saved her.

"Haha, I'm glad it all worked out. Even I wasn't too sure if I could bring you in here as well." Subaru laughed as he felt pride welling up inside of him. He was a genius, wasn't he? He bet even Echidna didn't expect him to bring Emilia directly into her world.

"Subaru-kun, where's Echidna?" After Emilia familiarized herself with the environment, she looked around for Echidna but she was nowhere to be seen.

Subaru narrowed his eyes. Every time he entered this world, Echidna would always be waiting for him at the tea table with a smile on her face. It was this routine that always calmed his soul and was a refreshing moment for both of them. It was never a bore to be with Echidna.

They would talk about various things; sometimes it was mundane, sometimes it was serious. Echidna would also teach him various things as well; she was the most knowledgeable person in the world so she would periodically teach him a few things about magic. They would also have snacks, have some tea… kiss each other every now and then… occasionally do the deed with each other when in the heat.

Subaru shook his head. Main point was that usually, Echidna was always here when he came. She was probably just hiding since he brought Emilia here.

"Oi~, Echidna! Where are you?!" Subaru gave a shout but there was no reply. What a troublesome witch. She really hated Emilia that much?

"Echidna!" Emilia also tried to help but if Echidna wasn't going to answer him, Subaru figured that she wouldn't even bother answering Emilia.

In that case…

"Ah, I guess it can't be helped. Echidna doesn't seem to be here so there's nothing we can do." Subaru said nonchalantly. Emilia looked at him confusingly as Subaru went up toward Emilia. She became instantly flustered however as Subaru tucked her silver hair behind her ear and held her chin very gently.

"Emilia-tan, you're very cute."

"Su-Subaru-kun?!"

"Since it's looks like we're all alone, I guess nobody will see us if we do this." Subaru whispered gently and slowly leaned in towards her face.

"I-I guess so."

Emilia immediately recognized his intention as she opened her lips slightly. She was embarrassed on how daring Subaru was being with her but she didn't hate it. If that's what Subaru wanted, she would gladly offer her lips to him.

Just as their lips were about to touch each other…

Echidna immediately appeared in between the two of them. She pushed outwardly with both hands causing the two to separate rather roughly. After Emilia regained her balance from the push, she found Echidna with Subaru in her arms, hugging him very protectively. Echidna was glaring at her harshly, as if what was about to occur was her fault.

"Yo, Echidna. You're here." Subaru waved his hand casually. It seems that his gamble paid off but Echidna wasn't pleased with him.

"That was very cruel of you." Echidna lightly held the front of his sweater. Her eyes conveyed anger within them but Subaru could see there was distress mixed in them also.

"How else was I supposed to get you here?" Subaru felt slightly guilty upon seeing Echidna's face but he knew that unless he did something extravagant, Echidna wasn't going to reveal herself.

Besides, it was a win-win situation for him. It was either Echidna appeared or he got to kiss Emilia.

"Oh, so you would've been fine kissing that half-elf in front of your partner?"

Echidna's eye showed a dark glint, causing Subaru to get goosebumps. He knew that look. Whenever her eyes glinted with that red tint, she was planning something no good.

"Hey, witch's daughter." Echidna called out to Emilia, who was watching everything by the side.

"What is it, Echidna?"

"You were perfectly fine with kissing Natsuki Subaru in my presence so you should be fine if I kiss him, correct?"

"Hey! Emilia-tan didn't know you were here though and we didn't even kiss!"

Subaru tried to interject but Echidna grabbed his face with both of her hands, not letting him struggle. She gave a smirk to Emilia, expecting to see the girl get flustered but she instead got a different reaction.

"Echidna, you're completely in the right." Emilia unexpectedly gave a positive response to Echidna's taunt, causing Echidna to frown. Emilia didn't mind as she continued.

"Of course, I would love it if Subaru-kun kissed me but I understand how it feels to have someone you love kissing another person so it's natural that you would feel that way. So, if you want to kiss Subaru-kun, I won't stop you; you do love Subaru-kun and you wouldn't do anything to hurt him.

"Whether you kiss him or not, I love Subaru-kun and he loves me. He'll never leave my side. That won't ever change. Weren't you the one who taught me that, Echidna?" Emilia gave a bright smile.

"…You really are someone I hate." Echidna let go of Subaru, forgoing the kiss. Her mood had been dampened by Emilia as the fun had disappeared.

Subaru let go of the breath that he didn't realize he was holding. Subaru was surprised on how much Emilia had changed and hearing from Emilia's mouth that she loved him brought a blush to his face.

"I'll be expecting full compensation for her visit, Natsuki Subaru."

Echidna whispered into his ear, interrupting Subaru's thoughts. Her sensual voice made his body go limp for a second as he turned quickly to Echidna. Her eyes couldn't hide the greed in them though as her fingers lingered on his chest, making small circles on them.

"…I understand."

For now, he should be happy that he fulfilled Emilia's request.

Subaru, Emilia, and Echidna were at the tea table with tea and cookies. Echidna had grudgingly allowed Emilia to join them but considering that Subaru promised to repay her, she was willing to put up with this much. Mmmm, she couldn't wait till she claimed the favor.

"Echidna, the tea taste as good as always." Emilia sipped the tea but Echidna ignored the compliment. Emilia smiled, expecting the reaction as she continued drinking. Subaru on the other hand had a different reaction.

"Wait, Emilia-tan. Your tea is actual tea?"

"What are you talking about, Subaru-kun? What else could tea be? Subaru-kun is being strange again." Emilia giggled at Subaru's question, believing it was a joke but little did she realize Subaru was actually being serious as he stared at his own "tea" and back to Echidna, who gave him a simple smile in response.

"…yes, tea should always be tea." Subaru left the topic there with a small poke to Echidna, not wanting to ruin the atmosphere. He would need a talk to Echidna later.

Speaking of talking to Echidna, there was one thing that confused him.

"Echidna, if I could bring Emilia-tan through my black pendant, why did I need to bring her to the trial grounds?" Subaru had this on the back of the mind ever since he succeeded in bringing Emilia to this world. Echidna told him before that if they went to the trial grounds, Echidna would be able to bring Emilia to her world but Subaru just accomplished the same thing without needing to go there.

"Ah, that's true." Emilia realized that Subaru was correct and looked at Echidna as well.

Echidna looked at Subaru and gave a sigh.

"Certainly, you would've been able to do that. However, do you really think you would be able come into contact with the half-elf and be able to calmly focus on entering my world in the state she was in? Of course, I could forcibly bring you in but that's only because I'm in a contract with you. I cannot do the same with the half-elf unless she is in my tomb which is under my control.

"Even if you did succeed in bringing her, you would have brought her in her jealous state along with yourself so the overall situation wouldn't have changed. Through my method, I would be able to bring her alone without you and control it so that I could speak to the half-elf without the Witch of Envy's vestige interfering. Do you still have any questions?" Echidna asked.

"Uh, I think I got the gist of it." Subaru nodded but he wondered what Echidna and Emilia talked about without him during that time. Well, Emilia was fine now so that was the important part.

He didn't realize he was staring at Emilia until she looked back, and noticing his gaze, Emilia smiled back at him. Her smile was pure and innocent as it brightened the atmosphere around her. He would do anything to protect her smile.

Emilia was the person who was willing to help him even though he was complete stranger to her. It was at that point that he decided that he would do anything for her. Silver hair was also a bonus.

Of course, he couldn't forget about Echidna. He would never forget her. What she did for him was akin to saving his life. While in their first meeting, he may have had his misgivings about her but now, he can confidently say that he loved Echidna. No, it wasn't just sex though he wouldn't deny he enjoyed it. However, there were plenty of other things.

He loved how he could talk to his heart's content without the need to hide anything from her. Since Echidna wasn't affected when he talked about his "Return by Death" ability, he didn't have to worry about saying the wrong thing or slipping up; he could freely say what was on his mind without hesitation. He loved how she would always be willing to listen to him and give insightful comments. Her words never failed to sooth him and always encouraged him for the day.

He loved her coy smile and how she would act very mysterious but in rare cases, reveal how she was simply a maiden at heart. The way her eyes brightened up when an interesting or exciting topic comes up was endearing. The way her face becomes flushed when she tries to hide her embarrassment was charming. The way her voice becomes flustered when things don't go according to her expectations was adorable.

Subaru grabbed Echidna's hand, feeling her soft hand in his own and enjoying the sensation it brought to him. After a few moments, he felt his grip being reciprocated as Echidna squeezed back, her fingers interlocking with his.

Subaru smiled as he continued to talk with Echidna and Emilia.

"Look, look, Met! Baru's here again but with Tella this time!"

"I'm pretty sure that's not Satella… well, it's not any of my business so I don't really care…"

Sekhmet sighed as she lazily kept an eye over Typhon who was happily watching the scene through an image. She found it somewhat surprising, considering Echidna was picky about her visitors but it wasn't that huge of a matter to warrant attention from her.

"I want to talk to Baru and Tella! Can I go? It's fine, isn't it?" Typhon asked with a glow in her face.

"That's no good. Echidna made it clear that she doesn't want us to appear without her permission when that boy is over." Sekhmet refused Typhon's request. She didn't want to deal with the aftermath of Echidna berating her.

"Hmph! Dona is no fun! I want to play with Baru and Tella!"

"Like I said, that girl isn't… whatever, it's too much work to explain it to you."

Typhon stamped her feet childishly as Sekhmet lazily got up from her laying position to a sitting position. She tried to calm Typhon down as she took the small girl into her lap and began patting her head which seemed to work for the time being.

"Are~, Ner-Ner, isn't that the girl who we helped back then?" In her purple coffin, Daphne recognized Emilia as Minerva clenched her fist.

"That Echidna! It's clear that she's ignoring the girl and only focusing on the boy!" Minerva's fist was shaking from the injustice as she felt the need to punch something.

"We-well, Echidna-chan lo-loves him a lot. And love is-is important, I think." Carmilla hid her mouth in her scarf, nervous about when Minerva would explode in fury.

"Echidna did become softer after meeting that boy. Isn't that right, Minerva?" Sekhmet spoke while keeping Typhon in her arms, restraining her so that she wouldn't barge into the tea party.

"Certainly, Echidna did change after forming the contract with that boy." Minerva saw how Echidna looked happier as of recently. She had her doubts about Echidna's intentions when she offered the contract to him but it seemed everything turned out for the better.

"But that boy! He keeps getting swept in by Echidna's smooth talking! How many times did Echidna lead him into having sex?!" Minerva punched the ground as a wave of air exploded, causing all the witches to block their face from the wind.

"I sto-stopped co-counting after the twentieth time…" Carmilla quietly whispered but Minerva heard it, causing her to be more infuriated.

"I'm angry! I'm furious! My blood is heated! How hard is it for them to contain their libido?! Does Echidna think we enjoy hearing them sound like animals in heat?! I've never seen Echidna before with such hunger in her eyes when talking about someone!"

"Don't be like that. Daphne also thinks Subaru looks very appetizing."

"For you, that's a completely different story!" Minerva yelled at Daphne ravenously licked her lips, cleaning the drool leaking out from the thought of Subaru's scent.

Minerva took a deep breath as she gave a glance to see Echidna, Subaru and Emilia at the tea party. More concisely, she was looking at Emilia as she looked at her with fondness.

"Regardless, I'm glad to see that girl is doing well, despite everything that happened to her. But that boy, could he be…" Minerva furrowed her eyebrows but before she could continue her thought process…

"Minerva-chan? Are-are you okay? Yo-you look stressed." Carmilla broke Minerva out of her thoughts as she shook her head, clearing her head.

"I'm fine." No matter what that boy was, she was sure that his future would be very lively. She only hoped that he would tone it down with Echidna.

"Time's up, witch's daughter. I'll ask that you take your leave now." Echidna flipped her hair with her hand as she put down her cup of tea.

"Mm, thanks for having me over, Echidna." Emilia smiled to Echidna but Echidna turned her head away. Emilia lightly laughed as she stood up from the table and then turned to Subaru.

"Thank you as well, Subaru-kun. It's only because you brought me here."

"Haha, it was no big deal, Emilia-tan. Besides, I'm glad you still had fun even though Echidna was acting like that."

Subaru was truly amazed by Emilia. Even though Echidna had acted coldly to her, Emilia still talked to Echidna normally and was the one leading most of the conversations between the two of them. Of course, Subaru did his best to ease the tension between Emilia and Echidna but it didn't take away from Emilia's achievement.

"Well, I guess it's time to go." Subaru also stood up as well but Echidna stopped him.

"Ah, Natsuki Subaru. You have to stay." When Subaru turned to look at Echidna, Echidna tapped the table with her finger. She calmly received Subaru's questioning gaze and replied, "You don't have to look at me like that. You still have to give me compensation."

Hearing Echidna's words, Subaru sighed as Emilia looked at him worryingly.

"Will you be alright, Subaru-kun?"

"Don't worry about me. Go ahead. I'll be out in an instant."

"If you need money, just tell me. You're very poor after all."

"…yes, I'll do that if I need it." Subaru didn't have the heart to tell her that monetary needs were the least of his concerns right now. Also, it kind of hurts to be told he was poor.

Echidna opened a portal, allowing Emilia to take her leave. Emilia waved her hand with a smile before disappearing into the portal. Subaru once again realized how pretty Emilia was.

"That half-elf is finally gone." Echidna let out a huge breath as she stretched her arms up. Her body became limp as if all the energy left her body. During that time, she then leaned forward and rested herself on the table. Her arms were crossed with her head buried in the middle.

"Natsuki Subaru, comfort me." Subaru heard her request through her muffled mouth.

"…how so?" Subaru hesitantly asked.

"I will leave it to your discretion." Although Subaru couldn't see her face, he felt there was a smile behind her voice.

There was moment of silence between them.

Echidna then heard footsteps walking towards her slowly. It got closer until it stopped right behind her. She could feel her body waiting in anticipation as she kept still.

She felt his fingers then.

Subaru put his hand on her shoulders and then began pressing his thumbs along the edges of her shoulder blades. He would squeeze with the right amount of pressure as she felt her muscles loosening under his touch. She gave a light gasp as she felt him press against a pressure point.

"Don't underestimate my massaging skills. I was taught by my father and was considered the best in my neighborhood." Subaru proudly huffed his nose as he remembered the days where he would massage his mom after they had dinner. It was one of the few fond memories that he had back then.

"Hmmm, your skills are indeed praiseworthy. A little more down- ah, right there. That's the spot."

Subaru pressed where she indicated and succeeded in making Echidna give out a sigh of delight. This wasn't exactly what she expected but it was nice nonetheless. She could tell that he was very experienced in this; his fingers pressed against her while utilizing his thumb expertly as he moved to all the right spots. He was pressing spots that she never knew she needed to be massaged until now.

"Echidna." Subaru called out her name while he continued to massage her.

"What is it?"

"I never said 'thank you' to you before, didn't I? For the contract, I mean."

The mood had changed. Subaru's voice became a bit heavy as Echidna felt his hand press harder against her. Immediately realizing his change of tone, she opted to stay quiet.

"Back then, I felt like I was suffocating. No matter what I did, everything wasn't working out. I didn't know what to do.

"During my first encounter with the Great Rabbit…" Subaru's hands stopped. Echidna could feel his hands shaking a bit. She couldn't blame him for that. No person should have to go through that kind of experience.

"I understand. You don't need to say anymore."

"No, I need to say this." However, Subaru didn't budge from Echidna's suggestion. It seemed that he was determined to do this.

Even if Echidna could read his mind, there was still a difference from saying it out loud and only thinking it.

"During that time, the pain was engraved into my body. I thought that my life would continue to be full of suffering and despair. The thought of hope had disappeared from my mind."

Subaru paused for a moment. The feeling of the teeth burrowing into him and ravishing his organs wasn't a fond memory. No, it was the worst death he encountered so far. The pain was so excruciating and slow that it drove him to the brink of madness. Even after he returned back to his save point, his mind was already near-broken.

"However, that was when you came and offered me the contract." Subaru still remembered vividly that day like it was yesterday. The way he poured out his heart, the way she comforted him, the way their souls became bonded, everything was kept in his heart.

"Echidna, thank you."

Subaru put his arms around her shoulders as he hugged Echidna from behind. Echidna could feel her face becoming heated but did her best to stay calm.

"…it's embarrassing for you to thank me. Didn't I tell you? When I made the contract, I was only interested in making you mine."

"I don't care. The fact remains that you saved me. I would never be here if it wasn't for you. Besides, I'll gladly be yours if that's what you want."

"That's a dangerous thing to say to a bad witch."

"Is that so? Then I must be quite the guy to love a witch like you." Subaru's lips lightly curved into a smile. "So, I'll say it over and over again."

"Thank you.

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you…"

Subaru's voice cracked near the end as Echidna felt a tear drop on her shoulder. She reached her hand to behind and Subaru found her hand patting his head gently. Her hand was warm as it helped Subaru quickly regain control of himself.

"Sorry you had to hear that."

"No, it's fine. That is why I am here." Even if there wasn't a contract between them, she would do the same thing for him. Besides, she had already decided to give her everything to him. What was a contract compared to a promise? A promise to be by his side to see a future where everybody is saved.

Once Echidna checked that Subaru was fine now, she decided to move things forward.

"Natsuki Subaru, your hands stopped massaging me."

"Ah, I'll resume." Subaru realized that he was still fulfilling out his compensation to her. It was a bit selfish of him to go on a rant but thankfully, Echidna didn't mind.

Echidna figured it was a small price compared to what she was going to do now.

"Before you resume, first, let me lay down and take off my dress."

"Sorry?" Subaru wondered if he heard Echidna correctly.

"Won't it feel better if your fingers press directly against my skin? I just want the full and best experience."

"That's true but…" Subaru only delivered that kind of massage to his father and people of the same gender. He never did it to the opposite gender for obvious reasons. Also…

"Echidna, be honest. Aren't you just trying to lead the situation so we end up having sex?"

Subaru looked at Echidna. There was no immediate response from her but he waited till Echidna finally opened her mouth.

"…was I too obvious?"

"You should know that best."

"Then, do you not want to?"

"To be honest, I really want to."

"Ah, but it's a shame. Isn't that half-elf waiting for you on the outside? I understand that you're very busy nowadays with your responsibilities as a new knight…"

"We have time!"

Subaru immediately interrupted her, causing Echidna to smile. It was nighttime and time was frozen on the outside so it would only look like a few seconds to Emilia when Subaru came out of the Castle of Dreams.

Deciding to cut to the chase, Echidna snapped her fingers and instantly, a huge bed appeared which could easily accommodate the two of them. Soon, two naked figures entwined with each other as loud moans and grunts began to resound through the air.

"What? What? Is Baru doing something interesting with Dona? I want to see!"

"You can't. You're a bit too young to see those kinds of things."

"I knew it! That Echidna is doing it again with that boy! I'm going to stop them!"

"I-I don't think yo-you should do that. Lo-love is important and those two re-really love each other."

"Ner-Ner, calm yourself down. Have a cookie."

"As if I could!"

Minerva yelled as the witches once again had to listen to the passionate noises caused by Echidna and Subaru.
