Ruby-
"Uncle Qrow?! Why are you here?" I yelled, while running up to give him a hug.
"Well, Oz asked me to lead a group of noisy brats," he said.
"Are you the hunter we're following?" Yang asked.
"No, my group leaves tomorrow," he sighed.
"Aw, then who's our hunter?" I asked.
"Me," Damion said, walking out of the bullhead that Uncle Qrow was in front of.
"Why am I not surprised?" Blake asked.
"Well, originally you were going to have Port, but he just got back with team CFVY from a very difficult mission, so I offered to take his place so he could rest," he informed us.
"Ah, so that's why we didn't see them," Wiess concluded.
"Yeah, also. Ruby, Blake, Velvet seemed very shaken up when I talked to her, so you might want to spend some extra time with her."
"Of course," I said.
"Yeah," Blake added.
"Alright, I need some clarification," Uncle Qrow said. "I understand why Ruby would want to, but why Blake?"
"Oh, um, well, you see," I stammered.
"The thing is I have feelings for Ruby and we decided to make things work by all being in a relationship together," Blake explained, covering up my mess of words.
"You truly are your father's daughter," Qrow chuckled.
"What do you- wait, no," Yang said.
"Yeah, that was something to walk in on," he shuddered.
"Oh, yeah that won't be happening anytime soon," I said.
"Good, I guess I don't have to give you the 'hurt her I hurt you' talk?" Qrow said.
"No, Damion made sure of that," Blake said.
"Well, let's get going," Damion said. "Nice seeing you dad."
"You too son," Qrow said with a smile.
We all got into the bullhead and as it took off Damion called us into a group meeting.
"Alright, so I know you guys have an alternative mission planned. As long as we do what we are getting hired to do," he said.
"Which is what again?" I asked for clarification.
"To clear out grim in a failed expansion of Vale and try to find anything of use," he sighed.
"Oh yeah," I said, remembering what the mission board said.
"Sometimes I worry about you," he said. I then felt my bag shift a little. Crap! I hope he doesn't notice Zwei, I panicked to myself. The rest of the flight was relatively quiet, I was cuddled up against Blake(however my bag with Zwei had to be with Yang while we were cuddling) and we were reading a book together.
"Alright, let's go," Damion said opening the hatch and jumping out like it was nothing. The rest of us followed and landed in a circle around him in defensive formation. "Let's go," he said, taking a quick sniff of the air. "Wait, Ruby, open your bag," he sighed.
"W-why?" I asked.
"You realise I have the nose of a wolf right, I just thought it was either your clothes or the bullhead, but now I can still smell a dog, so open your bag," he said.
"Ugh, fine," I said, opening as Zwei jumped out.
"You brought a dog into a dangerous area?"
"Hey, dad's on a mission that he couldn't go on and we couldn't just leave him in the dorm," I said.
"Ugh, at least his aura is unlocked," Damion sighed.
"So, what's the plan?" Yang asked.
"I'm gonna look for stuff, and you keep grim from killing me. If we find anything to deal with the White Fang we discuss a plan beforehand, and I'll say if we can handle it or not," he said.
"Alright," I said. We then went and found some dust that somehow wasn't destroyed and eventually we decided to bed down. I was told to take the first watch, I was getting ready when Zwei decided to run out and have me follow him. He then took me to a crater and I told him to stay while I checked it out, I then started to fall in as a hand grabbed my hood.
"I can't take my eyes off you for a second can I?" Damion asked.
"Hehe," I giggled.
"Well, I think you found the base, let's get back and plan, it might be best to attack asap," he said, jogging back to where we were camped. He then went about waking the others.
"Why are we up?" Weiss asked.
"Well, you do want to take down the White Fang and Torchwick's operation, right?" Damion asked.
"You found the location already?" Blake asked.
"Yeah, Zwei led me to it, and Damion stopped me from falling in," I said.
"What do you mean by 'falling in'?" Yang asked.
"They are in the old subway system, it leads all the way to Vale," he informed us. "We are going to take them down tonight, I think we should be as quiet as we can be. That means Yang is going to be the distraction," he said with a smirk.
"What do you mean by that?" she asked.
"Unless you have learned to be quieter than when we were kids then you will be the best to make it so we can sneak in, Weiss is going to help you."
"What! Why?"
"Because the three of us can more easily sneak away and go unnoticed, don't worry, Zwei will help too," I said.
"Ugh, fine," Yang sighed.
"So what about the three of us?" Blake asked.
"We are going to find their plan, and put a stop to it," I said.
"If we can, we might have to call in reinforcements," Damion added.
"Yeah, but we should be able to do it. We're team RWBY and Damion, nothing can beat us," I said.
"Let's go," Damion said.
Damion-
Well, that almost worked, I thought. We were around the crates with dust however we were then met with a multicolored haired/eyed girl with a parasol that has a small blade on the end.
"Crap, you two go help the others, try to stop whatever they are doing," I said.
"What about," Ruby started.
"She's too powerful for any of you to even try to fight, I can't watch you while trying to beat her so go!" I yelled. I watched them run away. "So, who do I have the honour of fighting?" I asked, drawing Shadow Rose. She just gave me a silent laugh. A mute, this should be fun. I then pointed the tip of my sword at her. "Well, this is something, ladies first," I say.
She then jumped at me and I blocked with my blade, I then kicked her in the gut and sent her back. I then charged her and fell into my shadow a moment before I got to her and then jumped out right from under her landing a strong blow right to her knocking her down. I then transformed Shadow Rose into a scythe and held the blade to her throat, keeping her in place. I then took gravity dust and used it to make my fist weigh more and knocked her out with my last blow. I then took out my scroll and called for a few bullheads that can contain prisoners, as well as some AK units. I hope they can be useful for something. I then heard an explosion and ran in the direction to see most of the White Fang in a giant pile of bodies, in a giant hole.
"What happened?" I asked.
"Um, I may have accidentally over loaded a shot with too much fire dust," Yang said.
"Whatever, I'm going to get Torchwick, Ruby come with me. Watch this one, and don't try to take her out, just try to slow her down," I said, tossing the girl into the pile.
"So, what's the plan?" Ruby asked.
"Let's try Shadow Roses," I said, recalling one of the moves we worked on.
"Ah, if it isn't Red, and who is this, a boyfriend?" a charismatic voice asked.
"No, an older brother, Torchwick," I said.
"Ah, so what should I call you, Black?" he asked, shooting a bullet at us.
We both fell into shadows as I used my semblance. I then made more portals all around him as we are in a dark room. We then jumped out and fell back into the portals, slashing him again and again and again. Until he finally collapsed, and then I grabbed him and drug him to where the others were until the sound of a train moving hit our ears.
"Shit!" I said, I then heard bullheads not too far out. "Ok, all of you are going to get on the train, I'll be there after they get down here," I said.
"Hurry up," Ruby said, taking off with the rest of her team.
I then showed the few hunters that came where we put the pile explaining why I have to go, and then teleported next to Ruby right as the end of the tunnel neared.
"Crap," I said, grabbing all of the girls and forcing a quick teleport. We ended up at an intersection in Vale. We then heard an explosion go off in the distance. "Go make sure no one's hurt, I'll get reinforcements," I said, taking out my scroll. (AN- The breach happens very similarly as in the show so I'm not going to explain everything.)
"What happened?" Ozpin asked, as I stood in front of his desk.
"The train they were using was rigged with explosives. I sent team RWBY ahead of me while I explained to the people who came to help us what happened and why I needed to hurry. I then teleported to Ruby and then teleported them out of danger as it crashed. Grim then used this to enter Vale. I along with teams RWBY, CFVY, and SSSN fought the grim and saved as many people that we could," I said. It's almost time too.
"Alright, that seems to check out with what the others said. You may leave," he said, taking a drink of his coffee.
I turned around and went down to the halls of Beacon. I then dashed to RWBY's dorm.
"Hey, there you are," Ruby said, running into me.
"Hey sis, was just going to see you."
"Oh, well here I am," she said, with her usual smile.
"I just wanted to make sure you were all ok. Didn't get a chance to talk to you guys," I said.
"Yeah, Yang and Weiss are in the hospital right now and Velvet got permission to stay in our dorm. Blake's there too," she said, giving me a huge hug.
"Let's go check on them," I said, walking the rest of the way with her. On the way we felt two tremors. Crap, I have less than five minutes until whatever this is happens. We got to her room and when we went in, a third tremor started and didn't end. "Shit, alright, gather around me and hold on. Don't ask why just trust me," I said, focusing on my dimensional energy.
"Guy's, what's going on?" Ruby asked.
"I don't know, Damion?" Velvet asked.
"I can't tell you yet," I said. "Hold on tight!" I yelled as everything went extremely bright and then dark.
