You know what? It's been a long, long while since we saw the Super Robots of Japan have a chapter of their own and I figured the Youma Clan have plans of their own in dealing with the conquering of Japan and not going after the special energies like the Decepticons are planning to do.
In the way of the Youma Clan is not only Raideen but also the Super Robots so this would be a chapter where I use a bit of MX's backstory as how Mazinger, Great Mazinger, Getter Robo and Raideen became that universe's equivilant of the Super Robot Army where here it's just Mazinger, Great Mazinger and Getter Robo and their friends.
During this time as well, I've learnt a couple of things that'll link this saga to the 2nd saga coming up and my plans for a so called Mazinger Z vs Getter Robo part is going to be better now with that tidbit of information... it won't be for now but it's going to play the part.
We're also going to conclude the encounters with the magical golems so good news everyone you are going to get two sets of battles in one chapter.
In a large chamber deep somewhere was General Bat but he was not in his usual uniform, instead he was wearing ceremonial robes as some sort of priest manner alongside several dinosaur men and women who were doing heavy chanting, they were chanting a name that often would give them inspiration, give them confidence and give them the mindset over the last year to conquer the humanworld and reclaim their planet for their kind.
"YULAR! YULAR! YULAR!"
A statue in the large chamber depicts a large reptilian humanoid with large wings and claws as the chanting continued to get louder and louder until General Bat stood up and addressed the large chamber full of eager dinomen and women.
"MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS! REJOICE FOR SOON WE ARE CLOSE TO GETTING THE REVENGE THAT WE WERE WRONGLY DENIED!"
Cheering occured around the chambers upon hearing those words, the death of their former leader Gore was a motivator to getting revenge on not only humanity but Musashi Tomoe the one who commited said murder.
"OUR GREAT EMPEROR GORE WAS TAKEN FROM US!"
"Those bastard humans!"
"CORRECT! THOSE HUMANS, THE FAVOURED BEINGS THAT THE GETTER RAYS CHOSE TO SPITE US!"
"Don't forget the allies of those bastards!"
"THE SO CALLED DEMON KING WILL FALL AS WELL, OUR ALLIES THE MYCENE WILL HELP US ACHIEVE OUR DREAM OF A DINOSAUR RULED WORLD!"
More cheering was heard as the dinosaurs built up a momentum of more chanting that continued for ages.
Several hours later and meanwhile in the dark caverns of the Youma... Sharkin was having a conversation with one of the new allies that Sardona had set up with and that was the leader of the Decepticons, Megatron.
"You must be the ally that Sardona mentioned... I am pleased to meet you Prince Sharkin."
"And whilst I am surprised by what seemed to be a talking mechanoid, I am also pleased to meet you as well Lord Megatron."
"The pleasure is all mine... we have common enemies it seems."
"That too well, I assume this isn't just mere conversation."
"We both have interest in Japan after all."
"The Yokai Clan's interest in Japan is just mere conquest of the land as they were allied to the Mulians some twelve thousand years ago."
"And the interests of the Decepticons are just to gather special energy sources so we can fuel our ships to head back to our planet of Cybertron."
"We have different goals it seems."
"That is correct, now we will be arriving in Japan in a mere few days... this shouldn't be a problem to you?"
"Oh no, we should be able to welcome you properly Lord Megatron."
"Excellent, I look forward to talking to you when the Decepticons get to Japan."
The communications between the two went out as Barosten entered the room.
"Prince Sharkin, the resemblance between those mechanoids and the machines the Mulians used..."
"Barosten, I know what they looked like...and these Decepticons whilst they are visitors from another world, they don't look like those Mulian War Machines but as long as we have them as allies, then it'll make our conquest of this world easier."
"I know my Prince, that is why I exercise great caution..."
"I'll remember that Barosten. Now how is the process coming along with that human Ichiro Hibiki?"
"Slowly my Prince, Lord Sardona's knowledge has been proven correct but it's going to take time before we exorcise all the knowledge we need out of Doctor Hibiki as well as his associates... the last few failures against Raideen are proof of that."
"We need that knowledge sooner than later if we are to reclaim this land as ours... it's bad enough that Raideen has been a factor in said resistance but the other robots that helped it will pay for their interference."
Barosten nodded, the power of their great emperor Barao is strong but they can't afford to drain its power away so they prepared in secret for many weeks... the help from the Ethereals had managed to reduce the burden a bit by allowing them to replicate their forces in preparation, A voice then rang in the room
"My Prince, I have good news regarding those fools that helped Raideen."
General Agayru then entered the room before bowing down to Prince Sharkin before raising himself back up.
"What news do you have to report Agayru?"
"My scouts have worked hard but we have the locations of the humans that attacked us when we faced Raideen the first time."
"Excellent Agayru, show me what your scouts have discovered."
General Agayru then offered photographs of the various labs in Japan including the Saotome Institute, the Photon Power Labs and Doctor Shikishima's home as Prince Sharkin took the photos and looked through them carefully before handing them back to the general.
"So these places are where those robots are from?"
"Correct My Prince!"
"What is the plan of attack Prince Sharkin?"
"Agaryu you will split your forces into three groups! You will command them to attack these places immediately! They will regret having to defy us!"
"Yes my Prince! Your word will be executed by my will!"
Agayru then left the room to which Sharkin sighed and realised sometimes that his proud general was an idiot.
An unusual sight was seen in the skies above the Japanese Countryside as two unusual flying robots make the distance... the Corinthian and Tetsujin 28 who stepped in at the last moment to stop an unusual golem from causing damage to the other is now pairing up to make sure there wasn't any more disturbances... meanwhile inside the Corinthian's cockpit, Daniel and Hikami were discussing with not only their boss but also with Inspector Ohta who was also listening... with Shotaro inside his rocket car listening as well.
"Is it that serious Ohta-san?"
"Yes it is Miss Sinclair, these weird readings of late that your company manage to detect lately has been putting all the institutes on a high state of alert, not to mention whatever these weird creatures that came out of the air... it's bad enough that the demons from before, attacking Japan on and off for the last few weeks have put all of us on edge."
The stress was obvious on Ohta's face so much that the Lunar president took it as the perfect time to step in.
"Which is why we are honored to be sharing our resources for this ongoing saga Inspector."
"We are?"
The director looked at Daniel with a pointed glare to make sure that he got his message clear... to which Daniel smartly caught on and nodded his head.
"Anyway, Shotaro you did listen to all that correct?"
"Yes Inspector..."
"Good, good. Now I want you to make sure you help out ok, I know you are worried about the Professor my boy..."
"We'll sort this out lickity split..."
From the distance came the loud piercing roar of a dragon followed by a flash of red light that immediately got everyone's attention.
"What was that!?"
"I don't know Master but my energy readings are detecting powerful mystical energies, same as the readings that appeared earlier..."
"Alright we may need to investigate immediately, did you get that Shotaro?"
"Loud and clear, we'll follow you down Daniel-san!"
Tetsujin roared in agreement as the two super robots immediately made their way towards the location of the loud dragon roar as down below, the 6 large mech-sized golems were about to attack the group of Roa, Hikaru, Umi and Fuu as the danger was getting big.
'Kouta! You need to summon CompatiKaiser!'
"I know! Girls you are going to need to get some distance back... things are going to get hectic."
The girls moved back some distance before realising that Kouta was going to summon something.
'DIMENSIONGATE OPEN!'
Roa screamed in Kouta's head as his powers were able to open a large dimension portal hovering above the immediate area... something that got the attention of the 6 large golems as they looked up.
'Now Kouta!'
"ROBO!"
The dimensional portal flashed before a very large mech dropped through and immediately landed onto the ground with a massive impactal crash as it stood tall and proud... the girls looked up at the sight in awe as the red and gold shined brilliantly in the sunshine but Roar immediately crouched high and then leaped massively high, the girls were impressed with how far he literally leapt until he landed directly on the new machine with pinpoint ease.
**Also I am not going to detail the Compatikaiser because it's an Obari robot and if you know Super Robot Wars then there's a term associated with anything Obari made, well it's Obari as fuck.**
'Good landing Kouta..."
"Thanks I've been working on it for a while now."
'Best to get inside and take of these constructs.'
"I know, I know!"
Fighter Roar was easily able to get inside the robot and activate it easily as the jewel on it's forehead flashed green before it made a fighter's pose and stood ready, the girls finally got a word in.
"What in the lord's name is that!?"
"That looks like a giant robot but compared to the Rune Gods on Cephiro, it's way bigger than they were!"
Hikaru once again looked in awe at the giant robot and wishes Rayearth was here to see it, unknowingly that the red rock that she still has on her posession began to glow brightly... as the Compatikaiser faced off against the 6 mechs.
"Alright Roar... six giant golems to beat down, this doesn't seem too bad."
'Focus one at a time Kouta, start off with Over Beam.'
"Got it!"
The Compatikaiser's eyes flashed bright green before drawing back in a pose before said eyes began to flash green and charge up.
"OVER! BEEEEEAM!"
A powerful green laser fired from the eyes of the Kaiser as it immediately flashed acrossed the battlefield and striking one of the golems hard on the chest causing the attack to go through causing some considerable damage before it got back to a normal posture before it immediately crab-walked over and straight up punched the mech hard back.
"Damn it... that construct hits like a truck... in that case, time for some deconstruct!"
The Compatikaiser prepared it's right fist as the blue gem began to spark to life as the thrusters on it's elbow began to shake to life as the arm was literally vibrating.
"SPIRAL! KNUCKLE!"
As the Kaiser drew back said fist, large plumes of energy began to arc before launching said fist in a large spinning fashion before striking the damaged golem hard as the fist literally launched itself high into the upper parts as it accelerated fast before going through the hole in the golem to which it literally exploded in the sky itself... just as the fist made a return onto Compatikaiser reattaching itself just fine.
"I got more of that coming if any of you bastards are willing to dance!"
Kouta was ready for a fight, no matter which universe he is in... down below, the young man's determination was sparking a similar feeling inside Hikaru as she knew she would never give up a fight even helpless, something that her crystal reacted to as well.
Meanwhile inside one of the large hangers of the Photonic Power Complex were the Autobots who were having a meeting about what happened in the last couple of weeks as they came to Japan to stop the Decepticons, the Japanese government initally was distrustful because of the attacks of the Youma Clan but thanks to the efforts of Commander Oka, they dropped their guard and were able to welcome the Autobots.
After that, having used the Ground Bridge to successfully connect the Autobot Headquarters in Mt St Helens to their temporary headquarters was something that they also establised as well considering how unsafe it was to stay where they were... plus the Decepticons had to be stopped from resourcing Japan's special energies, something Optimus Prime vowed to do.
"Now then, I call this meeting to order."
Optimus Prime called from the furthest point of the hanger, he looked upon the other Autobots who were watching him closely.
"We have done well to prepare ourselves for the arrival of the Decepticons, our allies have been warned and they have prepared enough for their arrival..."
The Autobots in the last couple of weeks parlayed themselves with the finest minds in Japan, the heads of the institutions that would be targetted by the Decepticons... meeting the brave pilots of the Saotome institute and seeing the bravery of Ryouma Nagare for themselves and getting to know Kouji and Tetsuya a bit further than just the battle at the California base
"Prime do you reckon we might face our end here?"
"I cannot say Ratchet... we woke up in a strange alien world of our own with the possibility that we might not be able to go home to Cybertron..."
That answer had some of the Autobots worried, potentially not be able to go home again.
"Prime, it should be nearly time for that meeting with the human commander Oka."
"That it is Jazz... alright meeting is adjourned but I want all of you to train hard."
"Yes Prime!"
Optimus Prime then left the room, ready for a meeting with Commander Oka with hopefully an update on how the negotiations are going with the Japanese Government as the Autobots decided to pair off in small groups and began to talk amongst themselves... as we then cut towards Ironhide watching with unease which is something Prowl noticed.
"You alright there Ironhide?"
"No Prowl... this whole thing with the Decepticons has me on edge."
"I can agree with you, no matter how preperation we end up doing... I see us barely surviving to those creeps."
"Even with the humans in the fancy super suits?"
"Well I can say we can survive barely, we don't want to risk the people on this planet to the suffering we went through... I take it Spike and Sparkplug are still in Tokyo?"
"Correct... they haven't been there in a while according to what they told me and I made sure Bee and Hound kept an eye on them."
Convienent.
The alarms were overheard in the Photonic Power Labs as in the distance as scientists and workers scrambled away just in the distance was a large Youma attack force that consisted of Dromes flying in the skies above and a couple dozen Bastodon and Garda, Fossil Beasts that serve the Youkai Clan faithfully were marching down the green fields with murder intent in their minds... and inside the formidable five headed Gante, General Agayru was watching everything from his seat.
'So this is one of the human bases that resists us? Doesn't look like much but if Prince Sharkin wants me to send a message to the filthy humans then I shall do what he says.' The general thought as he decided to stand up from his seat as the soldiers that were doing the simple tasks of driving the fortress turned towards their leader for direction.
"General! We are approaching the human base, orders?"
"ALL FORCES ADVANCE TO THE BASE FOR THE GLORY OF PRINCE SHARKIN! LEAVE NOTHING STANDING!"
All along the way to the Photonic Power Labs, it wasn't just a simple stroll to the labs as it used to be a year ago where any monster of the week would casually stroll in, no the scientists made strides to recently occupy the land around the labs and began to fortify the scenery with various machine guns that were given by the military of Japan as they were worried about the threats of the recent Youko Clan but the coming of the Decepticons... yet against ancient demons of the past, it proved useless.
"Foolish humans! Nothing can't keep us back!"
The forces just strolled through the machine guns like they were nothing with a few of them purposely stepped on by the Fossil Beasts to basically say yeah no you ain't going to stop me as they carried on with marching towards the Photonic Labs who are now on full alert as Mazinger Z, Great Mazinger, Getter Robo, Diana A, Artemis A and Boss Borot scrambled to see the invading onslaught approaching the labs.
"They certainly mean business..."
"Damned demons decided to finally make their moves."
"Probably also going to attack the Saotome Labs as well knowing their logic."
"Luckily the professor had figured out that the labs were going to be attacked and told Michiru to stay behind in case this was going to happen... Benkei's also there to protect her in the Command."
Ryouma added whilst not mentioning that the professor had told the team that there were a lot of possibilities behind his theory and wanted to make sure that the labs weren't raised to the ground by another group of enemies... now if the Professor would rest easy if the labs of Dr Shikishima were ready as well as he hoped they were.
"Alright so what's the plan of attack?"
"Do what we do best Sayaka... smashing things to bits!"
"Boss! That's not exactly what we do..."
"Isn't it what we do in the last year though Jun?"
"As much as I hate to admit to say it but Boss might have the general idea, there's a lot of demons for each of us to take individually so we might need to smash through the main force and then individually take down any remnants that remain from the onslaught."
"Sounds like a plan Tetsuya, you alright with that Ryo?"
"Alright Kouji, we'll proceed with the attack... Hayato, Musashi you two ready?"
"I'm ready as much as you are Ryo!"
"Don't worry about me."
"Alright then, Kouji I believe the honor lies with you."
"With pleasure Ryo..."
Mazinger Z's eyes began to power up in it's yellow hue as it prepared for it's first attack as the first swarm of Dromes descended downwards towards the defenders.
"Take this freaks! KOUSHIRYOKU BEAM!"
Unleashing the photon beam from it's eyes, Mazinger Z swept through the swarm as the attackers were vapourised by the energy as the first couple of Fossil Beasts immediately tried to attack but that was when Great Mazinger and Getter 1 stormed through with powerful weapons already deployed.
"MAZINGER BLADE!"
"GETTER TOMAHAWK!"
Slicing through the first fossil beast easily was Great Mazinger who then had no issues taking care of the next two that tried to take it down but turns out that cutting through stone was tricky for Getter 1 as it was a tad slow but it got through eventually.
"Seems these things are tricky to just cut through."
"If they are made of stone Ryo, let me handle that in Getter 2."
"Ok Hayato... OPEN GET!"
Immediately Getter 1 broke apart into the three Getter Machines and immediately evaded through several dromes that were distracted enough for Sayaka and Jun to spot and destroy.
"SCARLET BEAM!"
"KOUSHIYOKU BEAM!"
Both photon beams fired at the distracted group just as the Getter Machines reached safe distance.
"CHANGE GETTER 2, SWITCH ON!"
Hayato shouted as he lead the formation change to Getter 2 as he threw the lever forward initiating the quick sequence as three ships became one in a flash as it landed on the ground and proceeded to run which started to create afterimages that as the three Dromes began to fire with their fireballs, trying to hit the speedy threat but most of the fireballs hit the afterimages as they disappeared from being hit... the more speedy Getter 2 got, the harder it would be to kill... especially since it appeared right behind the attacking group.
"DRILL STORM!"
Getter 2's drill activates and instantly fires off a powerful burst of wind that shreds through the three dromes into bits before immediately turning its attention to the nearest Fossil Beast who was making it's way over to Getter 2 with it's pincing steel claws as it then tried to bring one down upon but that was parried away by the Getter machine before the drill immediately activated itself ready to strike.
"DRILL PRESSURE PUNCH!"
Immediately striking the metallic beast hard with spinning drill fists causing massive amounts of sparks to flash out before damage was done, Great Mazinger saw the creature vulnerable and immediately acted allowing Hayato to take full advantage.
"GETTER DRILL!"
Impaling the damaged fossil beast with the drill caused it to go through instantly causing the creature to break apart and then explode as Getter 2 saw the large group of Fossil Beasts descending towards the super robot.
"Hayato! Allow me the chance to take them on!"
"Alright Musashi! OPEN GET!"
It broke apart again taking to the air before Musashi made the call and took the offense.
"CHANGE GETTER 3, SWITCH ON!"
Getter 3 immediately showed up on the ground ready to take on the approaching horde as it accelerated towards them with open arms out and fists clenching.
"Come on then you monsters! I GOT PLENTY FOR ALL OF YOU!"
The Compatikaiser was slouched over as it was running low on power... the impressive mecha was able to defeat another of the golem constructs but the 4 remaining was able to get themselves together and now are working on whittling down the Super Robot.
"Damn it! These things are beating us down!"
'Kouta, the magical energies from these constructs are growing in a rate I can't describe.'
"Great that's exactly what I needed to hear... out of my face uglies!"
The Compatikaiser was able to get back up and straight up punched/shoved one of the golems aside before the other three charged in and began a series of hard exchanges that viewed could be barbaric as Hikaru, Fuu and Umi could only do and watch helplessly.
'Kouta's facing off against those golems and we... I feel so helpless...'
YOU ARE NEVER HELPLESS HIKARU.
'Rayearth?'
I AM NOT ALONE IN THIS ENDEAVOUR.
Suddenly Hikaru was in a dreamscape that felt very familar to her... she realised that Umi and Fuu were there too and there they were not all alone, in the distance and being very imposing were three large creatures that the three of them knew when they were in Cephiro... the first was a large dark green four-winged bird... the next one was an equally large blue dragon and finally was a large lion with a very impressive mane of fire.
Together, they serve as the Legendary Guardians of Cephiro, in actual reality they are powerful ancient mecha known as Rune Gods.
"Selece?"
"Windham?"
Umi and Fuu immediately noticed each other and then noticed Hikaru immediately.
RAYEARTH IS CORRECT YOUNG ONES, WE WILL ALWAYS PROTECT YOU NO MATTER WHERE YOU ARE.
"But we are not in Cephiro anymore..."
CORRECT, HOWEVER THE STABILITY OF THIS WORLD AS YOU HAVE SEEN HAS DESTABILIZED THE DIMENSIONAL ENERGIES... THIS HAS ALLOWED US TO APPEAR TO YOU ALL NOW.
HOWEVER WE COME WITH A WARNING, YOUR MISSION AS MAGIC KNIGHTS IS NOT JUST TO THE STABILIZATION OF THE PILLAR, CEPHIRO WILL ONCE MORE ASK FOR YOU THREE TO FULFILL YOUR DUTY BUT THAT IS FOR THE FUTURE.
"So we are going to be heading back to Cephiro?"
CORRECT YOUNG ONE, AS FOR RIGHT NOW... AS LONG AS YOUR WISHES ARE HEARD, WE WILL COME.
Hikaru was about to ask why but then the three began to fade away as they returned to where they were at... although a few things were different... the first was that on their right hands were familar gems that breemed with magicial energies, second was that their magical outfits had returned surprising them and lastly and the one that was surprising... was a small puffy like white bunny creature with a small pink gem on it's forehead.
"Mokona?!"
"PUU!"
Immediately a large flash of light immediately caught the attention of the golems attacking as they suddenly realised that there was another force about to strike but then they suddenly looked fearful as they looked upward and noticed that they saw three figures in a powerful looking mist that were very imposing... something that Kouta took notice as well.
"Uh Roa you seeing this?"
'Of course Kouta... the magics have become destablised enough that anything can cross over.'
"R..right, wait those girls down there... when did they get those armors?"
Down below... Hikaru, Umi and Fuu were looking at their magic outfits and then looked at each other realising that their fight is not over just yet.
"Mokona, how did you get here?"
"Pu."
"You sure that's the right question to ask Umi...?"
"Well felt like the thing to do."
"Mokona, go hide in the bushes nearby... we'll figure out what to do next afterwards."
"Pu!"
Mokona did so by floating away into a nearby bush as the girls looked at each other and nodded before the gems in their hands flashed revealing their very impressive escudo swords... Fuu wielding her claymore, Umi wielding her fencing blade and finally Hikaru wielding her two handed blade before another flash of light took the area again before they were in their full armors, powerful and colorful before Hikaru's sword immediately got battle ready.
"Umi, Fuu Let's go."
"Yeah."
Fuu nodded as their weapons flashed powerful energies before the figures in the mist became what they were truly known as.
The Rune Gods had arrived.
Back at the Photon Power Labs where Getter 3 was literally fighting hard against the group of Fossil Beasts that dared to take it on... Musashi figured it was simple enough to wear them down so he figured that is what he was going to do.
"GETTER PUNCH!"
Utilising a series of hard hitting punches left and right, the yellow machine was able to batter the beasts slowly as the strength of the machine before drawing back some distance allowing some breathing room... as Getter 3 banged its fists together.
"GETTER MISSILE!"
Launching the two missiles on its back and with them colliding with two of the closest beasts causing damage, before Boss Borot showed up next to the Getter machine and for good measure, it delivered a swift punch to the face of the nearest Fossil Beast before it fearfully didn't back away.
"Boss! That punch didn't do much."
"I know that idiot! I want to get its attention."
"But why?"
"You get those feet moving and I'll figure that out!"
Boss then immediately ran off to which Musashi shook his head and figured now was a good time to get rid of the enemies... and took advantage of the distracted fossil beast.
"I've had enough of these monsters!"
Getter 3's arms loosened up as the robot immediately began to dash towards the nearest enemy.
"DAISETSUZAN OROSHI!"
Grabbing the Fossil Beast with it's hands, the effects of the Getter Missile from another allowed it to grab another and this repeated until all four was literally squished up in the hands of Getter before being spun around and around before literally tossed into the air... at the same time Mazinger Z and Great Mazinger spotted the four beasts tossed into the air and decided a combo was a good idea.
"Tetsuya!"
"On it! GREAT TYPHOON!"
"RUST HURRICANE!"
The attacks were aimed upward as the large blast of air was enhanced by the corrosive winds of Rust Hurricane as the four fossil beast squished bundle was then enveloped in a very powerful corrosive fuelled tornado that literally disintegrated the stone and metal elements instantly reducing them to fine dust... before another large group of fossil beasts and dromes made their swoop, so they figured let's get rid of them.
"DOUBLE..."
"BURNING..."
"FIRE!"
Unleashing the very powerful combo move, Mazinger Z's Breast Fire moved from the left and Great Mazinger's Breast Burn moved from the right... the power of the move literally melted through Fossil Beast armor and literally self immolating dromes easily as the two attacks collided causing a very large explosion that took them all out... something that terrified Agayru who saw it happen.
"When did these humans create such weapons?! This is unacceptable!"
"What do we do General?"
"Double down you fools, what else... they may have demons but we have the stronger forces!"
Suddenly several blaster shots ran out, several familar blaster shots that took down a lot of Dromes as from the distance... The Autobots had arrived to help clean up.
"Now did someone around here order pest control?"

(Taro) Figured I would end this here since the action is hotting up, it has been a while so yeah...
1, I got egg on my face like you wouldn't believe. They finally found a way to get Sakura Wars into the main SRW franchise after all, even if it's DLC... they are finally in, so now that means I got to put them into the story either now or in a future arc and that's going to be something.
2, Mokona is basically CLAMP's answer to god... yes that little bunny thing is actually the creator of Cephiro and created Earth in that universe, whilst in the anime it was just an animal that popped up and stayed with the knights, it hides it's actual power since technically it's a god... keep an eye on what I said.
