At Candice office
Candice was going through some photos taken of the crime scene. A bloody butchers knife left at the crime scene. Wondering how many enemies did she have before her death. She was looking through the corners report, the victim had multiple stabbed wounds. Nine on her chest, seven wounds on the back. Cuts on her arms, wrists and her legs. Someone most have hated her were bad too want make her pay with her life. The door to her office open up; Rick was carrying in two ice coffees. She had a big smile on her face.
Rick is looking through files, he was thinking could the victim have had a secret lover of some kind. Was her lover hiding a secret of his own. Could he have been married; his wife or another mistress or girlfriend. "I'm guessing our suspect was stalking her from their car. Then maybe followed her; to see where she goes too. Like the gym, out for a walk or run. See the place that she want out with her friends like shopping. Out for a few drinks and maybe have lunch or dinner. Then when it was the right time to strike. Our suspect was filled with a rage inside them." She was listening to his theory, she asked him. "Do you think she was having an affair with a married man?"
Rick thought it over for a second, "I'm thinking yes. But we needed more clues to the case."
Rick and Candice go to the victim place. Looking through everything to see if she had anything that could help them. Candice find some pictures; she find some with two different guys. Could she have been seeing two different men; could she have been dating both men at the same time. Rick and Candice go out to her car. Seeing if they can find another clue. She had pulled out a set of matches that had a place called the busy rabbits. It was a gentleman club. Was the young lady working as a waitress or was she a young girl for hire. Rick find her birth certificate was shocked by how old the girl was. Candice asked with concerned in her voice. "Rick are you alright?" She saw what it was that Rick couldn't took his eyes off a piece of paper. That was the day of her birth meaning that she was a lot younger then what the corner thought. "She was only eighteen years old. So, that means she was underage."
Back at Rick place
Rick couldn't continue after learning the woman or now teenage girl. She is around Alexis age; he couldn't hold in his tears. Was shaking violently as he couldn't stop the sobs or tears from falling down his face. Rick was thinking about his daughter; he was thinking about calling her just make sure she was okay. But he was strong enough to pick up the phone. There a knock on the door; he got up to answer the door. When he opened the door; Candice grab him and hold him so he could cry against her shoulder. Rick was letting sobs and he was screaming against her shoulder. She kissed the top of his head. Keeps on telling him that's she here and not going anywhere. He wraps his arms tightly against her waist. Both of them go inside and sit down on the couch. She lets him lay his head on her shoulder. He tells her; "I feel like a terrible father. I should call her; but I couldn't make a move to get her on the phone. But I'm worried about what I will say to her without breaking down in tears."
Beckett apartment
Later in the evening
Kate is having a glass of good wine, she was trying to be careful not get too drunk. She had hit a wall with her case; she couldn't get any lead. Kate hated to admitted to herself that she was starting to miss her partner. Kate wish that she could go back to time when everything was a happier time at the precinct. She missed the time when Castle would always bring her a cup of hot coffee. She was crying again; she was just waiting for the day her job would be in jeopardy losing very soon and would be her fault. Why couldn't she had just stop her games before it was too late. Kate was going to her bedroom; she takes out her memory box of the things Castle had given her. She wanted to call him and see how he was doing. But she take the coward way out again. Kate hated to do that; but what could she say to him that she was very sorry. Kate got up and decided that she was going to took herself a very long hot bath with bubble bath.
Back at Rick place
Early in the morning
Rick wake up from a trouble sleep; he was rubbing his eyes. He looked over to his other side see that Candice is fast asleep. His stomach is growling loudly. Letting him know that he needs to eat so does Candice both need a good breakfast. He got up was taking a shower and he was getting the coffee ready. He was going to make her some pancakes, bacon and eggs maybe some home potatoes. He heard her moving around on the couch. Candice come into the kitchen; he gets her a cup of hot coffee and small glass of orange juice and the same for him to drink. Both of them are sitting at the dining table. Candice was getting them both sliver wear and napkins. Rick got out some maple syrup and butter, along with salt and pepper. Rick and Candice both of them are enjoying their breakfast and each other company. Then afterwards they both help by cleaning up the kitchen together.
Back at Candice office
Later that morning
Candice was going through the surveillance footage of when the victim was at the gentleman club. She was wearing a black corset teddy bunny outfit with black bunny ears. Black lace stocking and black heels. She had on long black gloves going up from her hand to her elbows. She was carrying a trap full of drinks to ever strangers.
