Chapter 7

Beckett had arrived back to the precinct with her new hair color and nails. She was in a middle of a briefing with Esposito, Ryan, and the following two female detectives to be involved with the operation.

Detectives Allison Smiths(Connors) and Judith Jeffries( Maddy) standing in front of the board going over the different options.

"Has the CEO been informed of us coming in to work the shows Captain?" Connors will have to ask.

"He has that myself, Esposito, Ryan, yourself, and Maddy will be coming in to help replace those that are no longer working after being found dead the past few months," Beckett said with turning to be surprised to see the one person she didn't wish to talk to at this time.

"Anyone else Captain?" Connors inquired.

"That's it, everyone. We will be starting tomorrow at two o 'clock to meet with the rest of the girls." Beckett moved slightly. "That's it for now. If anything should come up I will be sure to tell you."

She watched them break away from the briefing with Beckett having given the permission to go on home and including herself. But first, she had to deal with her towering husband with fire in his eyes.

She walked over to him. "I should have known that you're come home to stop me Castle?" she said with walking towards her office with opening the door to walk in.

"Where do you get off Beckett to take on an operation that is extremely dangerous in the first place that could get you and the rest of the team killed?" Castle had been livid with his response.

She had sat down on her chair behind the desk of her office. She needed a moment to take a breather before answering.

"Why did you bother to fly back when I told you, Castle, that I have a job that needs to be done?" she was livid as she shrugged her shoulders.

"Look, Kate, I am your husband and I am telling you that it's dangerous for you to be working this operation knowing that you have a family that needs you in the first place," he advised with his response standing up with anger in his demeanor.

"Just because your husband doesn't mean that you can push me around for when it comes to my job as Captain of this division?" she noted with a deep sigh.

Castle was angered with his wife. "Really! Beckett, you're really is blinded to the fact that our marriage never really matters at all? I am going home to pack my things and stay in the suite for now. You can take care of the kids while you're working your god damn undercover operation?" he choked on the words with opening and slamming the door to rattle.

Moving into the elevator with everyone wondering what the hell was going on with those two. At this point, Beckett had a job that needs to be done before more women are murdered.

Javi Esposito walked over to the door knocking with entering to see a very dejected Beckett pouring a cup of coffee. She looks up to see him standing there. "Javi I am not in the mood to be answering questions." she alluded.

"I don't care, Beckett! What the hell happened?" he sighed with the question.

"Castle walked out on me and our marriage with doing this Undercover operation." she croaks.

"You could have given the job to another Captain or lower instead of yourself?" Javi advised.

"I had no choice in the matter with the commissioner asking me or else!" Beckett went to move around from her desk. "Look Javi, Castle will be able to calm down. No doubt he will call his mother to make sure to keep an eye out on the children."

"They are older now to take care of themselves, Beckett. They are not children any longer." he barked with walking the office to head back to his desk angered.

Nexus sex club

The show must go on even with the murder of one of the dancers. You would think that no one will want to show up at the club. But it was a different story with the club packed that evening.

Doctor Gerald Dennison had a front-row seat with watching one of three shows with the exotic dancers that he didn't know all that well. A young waitress had come over with his third Scotch on the rocks drink of the evening so far.

"Here you go, Doctor Dennison." she will say into his ear.

He looks up into her crystal green eyes with a hint of a smirk. "Thanks." he alluded.

"Anything else Doctor?" she noted with asking the question.

"I am wondering whether you're being able to spend some time with me upstairs once your shift is over?" he prompted asking the young girl.

"I am off in two hours. We can use the fourth level with paying for the reserved room for an hour." she sighed with waiting for his answer.

"Okay, will you reserved the room for us, Catherine?" he snapped back with asking.

"I have a break in a few moments and I will call them upstairs to reserved the room." she walked away to serve her other drinks to the table behind him before going on a break with two others taking over on the floor.

She had gone into the breakroom in the back to make the call while Doctor Dennison was enjoying his drink with the show starting.
