Chapter 58
Captain Kate Beckett arrived at the Manhattan medical center parking her vehicle when she noticed someone coming out of the elevator. He was able to lift his head to see Beckett walking towards her with a smile.
"Jesus, Kate how are you?" Josh needed to say to her with a head filled with salt & pepper hair.
She will give him a hug after so long. "Working on a very delicate murder case Josh. How's the wife doing?" she will say to him with a wide eye smile.
"Working a 14-hour shift with the staff short due to the pandemic. Otherwise, she is fine, Kate. I heard about your husband Richard getting hurt?" he alluded with his information.
"He's doing better Josh other than the fact he was being stupid with going undercover to try and catch our killer with the sex club murders," she grumbled under her breath.
"I heard on the news. It's a real shame that some monster is doing those things to the ladies to make me sick to my stomach?" he cries out with his response.
"Tell me all about it having to find out with have another suspect in the loop now." she snapped back with her response.
"I do hope you will be able to catch him or her?" he shrugged his shoulders.
"Please take care of yourself Josh." she kisses him on his cheek feeling slightly off-center with the memories of years ago and with riding a motorcycle with him and the jealousy showing on Castle's face when she left the precinct.
"I will try my best since I have been so busy of late with heart patients," he tells her with him with leaving for his new motorcycle.
She moved into the elevator to stop off at the lobby to receive her pass and headed back into the elevator...When she reached the floor, she headed for her husband's room...
Richard Castle had finished up the last session of the day with the physical therapist. He was sore as hell with the nurse had cleaned him up with his dinner to be arriving soon. He was exhausted and really needed to be hearing from his wife Kate.
There was a knock on the door as the one person walked in on his mind. "It's about time my wife shows up tonight?" he cried out with his burden and soreness.
"Hello to you too, Richard Castle? I am working the case now that we have a new suspect in the wind?" she barked back at her husband kissing him on the cheek.
Sitting against his three pillows. "Sorry! Tell me more about it Kate?" he tells her with the question.
"Our cities medical examiner Doctor Dennison and his wife Shannon just might be in danger since she had been approached by the possible killer at the sex club in the Queens I had mentioned." she exhales and sees his expression.
"If this is the case, Kate, there is a good chance that the killer might be his or her next target?" he explained with the comment.
"I agree with you, Rick." she pulls up a chair to explain further...
