Now onto the story!

"W-what? What do you mean by that?" Izuku stammered. The most powerful being walking on the planet?!

"I said what I said!" Gojo let out a small laugh. "With Limitless and Six Eyes, you possess the highest amount of power of any living being right now. That makes you the most powerful being at this moment, no?"

"Simple! You are the only person in this world that exists right now with the ability to use cursed energy!"

"W-what? Cursed energy? What's that?"

"Well you see, if someone starts feeling really negative..."

One long explanation later, Izuku finally understood what Gojo meant.

Gojo had explained how cursed energy came to be, and how it could be used by people, who were called jujutsu sorcerers.

Granting extraordinary powers, cursed energy allowed a sorcerer to do a myriad of things, such as enchanting items with their own unique technique.

With techniques came clans, in which they possessed a hereditary jujutsu technique present in their offspring.

However, this came at a cost. With the birth of cursed energy, came the birth of curses.

Curses were a physical manifestation of cursed energy. The stronger the negative emotions felt towards a certain aspect of the world, the stronger the curse spawned from the cursed energy would be.

Sorcerers used their cursed energy and techniques to exorcise said curses.

"Limitless is a special technique hereditarily passed down in my clan. However, Six Eyes is a rare ocular jujutsu that my clan members can also inherit. When I was born, I was the first member to have inherited both in the last century." Gojo said. "However, with how powerful the techniques are, when my family line ended with the Great Cleansing, they couldn't just settle and fade. After I died, they started searching for the next wielder, and in the process, brought me along with them."

Izuku absorbed as much information as he could.

"So what exactly can I do with Limitless and Six Eyes?" He asked. His eyes were still shut, but they were starting to hurt. Even if he could not see normally, the infrared vision was starting to overwhelm him.

"That's the interesting part!" Gojo replied. "It seems that they blended with you. Quirkless humans still have a quirk factor, but because the factor is so miniscule, it can't be activated."

Gojo seemed to lean in closer and stare at Izuku's closed eyes.

"It seems like instead of seeing cursed energy, you can see quirk energy. It's probably because of the fact that there are no cursed energy users left on this world, except for you of course, so Six Eyes adapted to that."

He clapped his hands. "Well, I guess that settles it."

"Settles what?" Izuku asked.

"I'll help you master this super awesome power and help you become a hero, that's what! Besides, it's not like I can really do anything, seeing as I'm dead." Gojo replied, chuckling darkly.

"What can I do with this 'super awesome power'?"

"Well, before I can tell you what Limitless and Six Eyes does, we should probably do something about your vision."

Izuku rubbed at his closed eyes.

"Think of it like..." Gojo rubbed his incorporeal chin. "...a phone screen!"

"Eh?"

"Yeah, treat it like a phone screen! You're able to turn down the brightness of the screen, and by doing so, reduce the strain on your eyes! Of course, you can't completely shut it off, but you can lower it to the point where you can still 'see', but with little to no strain."

Izuku took a deep breath, and following Gojo's advice, imagined turning down the intensity of his infrared vision.

He felt the sensations fade, the pain trickling away. Slowly, he opened his eyes.

Gojo stood in front of him. With pale skin and snow white hair, Izuku almost mistook him for an albino. Gojo seemed taller than he really was, standing at a menacing 6'3".

He sported a high-necked black jacket, with matching pants and dress shoes. A blindfold sat over his eyes, pushing up his hair.

The most noticeable feature was the ethereal glow around the entire man's body, surrounding him in a slight blue fog.

Izuku looked at him in wonder. Gently, he stepped forward and waved a hand through Gojo's body.

Gojo watched in amusement as Izuku's hand passed right through, leaving him staring at his hand.

"So you really are a ghost..."

"Yep! Now that you can see, I'll tell you what Limitless and Six Eyes are all about!" Gojo said. "But you should probably head home. It's already dark, and I'm sure your mom's worried sick for you."

Izuku looked up at the night sky. The stars were peeking through the clouds, and the night wind swept through his hair.

Izuku's eyes widened in terror.

"MOM! OH NO, SHE'S GONNA KILL ME!"

And with that, Izuku took off, running towards the roof exit. Gojo laughed.

You'll be an interesting one for sure.

Small filler chapter, but things will definitely pick up in Chapter 3 :)
