When you become one with the Spiral, you feel everything that it and everyone else around you feels. Constantly sensing the small shifts in the air. Whenever another person rubs up against the wall. Or the commands and thoughts of the entity that you've wrapped yourself around. It's been like this for centuries, even before me and Shuichi fell into it. It's a life of constant pleasure for everyone around us, except for me and him.

We joined only because there was nowhere else to go. The Spiral trapped us and killed our friends and family. No, it didn't kill them, they were absorbed into it long before us. We simply accepted our fate, while others gave up to end the pain. I don't blame them, but wasn't there anything we could've done? Anything that would've saved us from this constant horror?

Me and Shuichi live in a perpetual spiral of pain. While everyone else around us doesn't mind rubbing their bare twisted flesh against each other for all eternity. Me and Shuichi are the only ones who still wear our clothes. Who both still think about each other. And hold out hope that eventually this will end. Our thoughts are tied together, while everyone else is tied together as well.

Our eternal embrace, is the last thing keeping us going. We need to hold on, we need to keep on remembering who we are. Our love will keep us together, but we don't know for how much longer. Please, something, ANYTHING! SAVE US FROM THIS PAIN!

Down in the deepest and darkest depths of the Pacific Ocean, a creature sters in its sleep. It senses something coming from the surface. It annoys it, the creature can not sleep with this constant ringing in its mind. For years it has slumbered and lived off the radiation deep within the Earth's caverns. It only awakens for two things, to feed off the spikes of radiation that would rise on the surface. Or if another creature threatened it's domain.

If this was a creature, it was certainly a stupid one. Only two opponents were daring enough to broadcast its presence to the rest of the world. This creature didn't seem to be a threat, all it did was shout its presence to the world. Though the creature from the deep could not sleep with it constantly screaming. So, time to shut it up. As the creature rose, the rocks and coral that grew on top of it's back cracked and broke away. Fish scattered and fled away from it. For they knew that this was a place no living thing beneath 150 meters high wanted to be.

The creature started swimming towards the all too familiar shore line of Japan. Towards a town it felt no real need to visit. It had no nuclear reactor, nothing of real interest. Maybe this town didn't even know about this creature, unlike the rest of the world. Which referred to it by one name. Godzilla!

My name is Kirie Goshim, my boyfriend is Shuichi Saito. I have to keep telling myself that. I can't let my mind go. The loving embrace of my boyfriend is slowly losing meaning to me. He's starting to seem like all the other men and women rubbing up against me. Can't they just leave us alone? Why can't we just rest in peace?

'You belong to us now.' a soft voice says.

I know that voice. Is that Chie? I feel another body rubbing against me. It has clothes like mine.

'It was once me. Now I am one with the spiral, and it's wonderful.' She sounds like she's lying.

No, no go away. Leave me and Shuichi alone.

'It's only a matter of time. Why not open your eyes? Witness all the people around being together.'

No! As long as I have Shuichi, I don't need to join all of you.

'Shuichi's gone, he left you to become fully one. You're just hanging on to men passing by. If you want to find Shuichi, you just have to open your eyes and look around.'

NO! No, that can't be true! He's right here, I can feel his clothes! Like yours and mine. He's not going anywhere! My grip is too tight to let go of him.

'Good.' Shuichi says to me.

SHUICHI! Thank God, please keep talking to me.

'I will. I can't stop listening to them as well. Talking to you might be our only defense against all of this.'

'YOU'LL BE WITH US SOON!' a thousand voices screamed at us. They continue to scream, it's nothing new though. We've been hearing this noise since we were born. The alarm outside would always play this sound. No wonder it pierced Shuichi's ears.

Why won't someone come for us? Can someone even save us?

'To do that, they would have to kill everything around us.' Shuichi says.

They would? What about everyone else? They might be flesh stacked on top of each other, but if given the chance to reform.

'They're too far gone, Kirie. Let them die.'

No, if salvation comes. Promise me you'll save at least one of them.

Shuichi paused for a minute. Letting the screams ring out around us. To us though, it was silence.

'Fine. Only because I love you.'

Those words send a feeling I haven't felt in a while. It makes me feel human, like I'm not trapped here. I love you too, Shuichi, hold in there. Salvation will come.

The signal became louder in Godzilla's head, and he hated it. It was one long scream of pain, constantly ringing inside the monster's head. It needed to end, it's like the sound of this signal was piercing the inside of Godzilla's head. Though it would take more than sound attacks to bring this beast down.

Godzilla's fin's break the surface of the water. He is only a few more kilometers away from the shore of Kurozu-Cho.

A bearded, broken man makes his way up the hills of Kurozu-Cho. His name was once Tanizaki, the builder and corpse cleaner of the Spiral Labyrinth. Now he was nothing more than a lonely man walking along cliffs. He had no reason to live anymore. The Spiral had taken away every 'human' left inside the block houses, along with his age.

He was an old fool, who didn't join the people of Kurozu in time. Now, even though he could leave, there was no point anymore. After the things he's seen and everything he went through. What was the point of society anymore? At his age, or at least what he remembered about his age, it had been so long he lost track of time. He was as good as dead. So, might as well end it.

Tanizaki reached the top of the cliff side, and looked down onto the shore line. The rocks below would give him a quick death. Now all that was left to do was walk forward. He stuck his leg out into the air, gazing one last time at the beautiful sea. Where the sun set over the horizon. To which it also illuminated the massive fins of a monster coming closer and closer.

Tanizaki put his foot back on the ground. Watching as the massive monster made its way towards the town. He followed it, fixated and awe struck by what was happening. Perhaps, this was his salvation, a new beast to either kill him. Or give him something to do.

So many voices, so many voices constantly shouting at me.

'JOIN US!'

The worst one is Chie's. She doesn't sound like she wants to be here. Like she's just shouting along with the crowd. No matter how hard they shout, they can't get through to us. Our grip on each other is too tight. We'll never let go, we'll never open our eyes to the horror.

'You will! And if you don't, we'll make you!'

Arms and hands surround us, ripping off our clothes. Touching and feeling both of us in places we don't want to be touched. Me and Shuichi hang on, the thought of this being the first time being naked together gives us some type of joy.

Then, they try to rip us apart. Pulling us towards the flesh. The force of hundreds of hands is at first too much for us, but the thought of being apart is stronger. We will not part.

'JOIN US IN THE SPIRAL!' my parents shout.

'JOIN US IN THE SPIRAL!' my brother shouts.

'JOIN US IN THE SPIRAL!' my school mates shout.

'Please, join us in the spiral, end this.' Chie whispers in my ear, as she lays herself upon my back.

No, I will never join. Never, never, never, never!

'JOIN US! JOIN US! JOIN US! JOIN US! JOIN US! JOIN US! JOIN US! JOIN US! JOIN US! JOIN US! JOIN US! JOIN US! JOIN US! JOIN US! JOIN US! JOIN US! JOIN US! JOIN US! JOIN US! JOIN US! JOIN US! JOIN US! GGGGGGGGGGRRRRRRRRRROOOOOOONNNNNNNKKKKKK!

A noise that sounds like a fog horn rings out through the walls. The fog horn sounds dangerous, horrifying, and alive. It makes the other voices stop. They remain silent, and wait for the Spiral to decide what to do next.

The shoreline approaches, and with it the signal grows as well. Godzilla is done with this annoying ringing. Whatever it is, it will be silenced by his hands. They will soon feel its wrath, and know to never disturb his slumber again. The shore line got closer, and closer. Then the tides changed, Godzilla felt the water trying to suck him down. Forming a whirlpool around him.

This did not change his course. Godzilla could swim against any tide, no matter how strong it was. Plus, it gave the monster ground to stand upon. Ground that was softer than usual. It too was trying to pull Godzilla down. Yet again, Godzilla stood against stronger forces, and he pulled himself through by clutching the coast. Sticking his hand out of the water and grabbing the rocks. He emerged from the sea, causing a massive Tsunami.

Water crashed through block houses. Soon the wood broke apart, and the buildings began to fall. Godzilla could hear a shriek when this happened. It was the sound of thousands of humans crying out in terror and pain. Something that the monster was all too familiar with. Though the houses did not seem to have any humans in them. What remained of them seemed to form a Spiral around a block of bedrock in the middle.

Godzilla's shadow cast over the landscape. Whatever bugs were still alive, started to come out as they were fooled into thinking it was night time. Then Godzilla's shadow got longer, as it was close to sunset. So Godzilla came closer, and eventually set foot onto land. The sun fully set.

Godzilla then felt the heat building up around the area. Specifically in the direction of the old lighthouse on the rocks. He turned to face it, and realized too late that he made a mistake. As the lighthouse sent out a fire beam attack. Which hit Godzilla right in the face. The beam was powerful, whatever didn't hit Godzilla streamed off and scorched the land. It pushed Godzilla into the cliffside, and with the smash of his back. Sent the hills crumbling back down into the rock it originated from.

Godzilla remained motionless for a few seconds. The Spiral thought that it was dead. Though it thought to do one last blast at the beast to make sure. As it charged up the lighthouse again, it too realized it's mistake far too late. For the monster was only playing dead. Waiting for the Spiral to reveal it's exact point of origin of the blast. So, Godzilla built up his atomic blast as well.

Godzilla's fins glowed blue, as heat began building up inside of him. The lighthouse managed to fire first. In the exact same space on Godzilla's slightly burnt face. Though it was too little too late. Godzilla fired his beam as well. Dissipating the heat beam as if there was nothing there. And crashing into the lighthouse, causing a massive explosion of fire, blood, and…..radiation.

Something that Godzilla was all too happy to find. He went over to absorb the radiation, he put one foot on the rocks and opened his arms to allow radiation to have better access to his heart. With the fire below illuminating him, he roared into the night sky.

A mentally crazed Tanizaki watched this from the hillside with wide eyes. He knew about this creature, but it had never surfaced again since the 50s. Now it was back, and it was now his salvation. It was this thing that would either kill him, or kill the Spiral.

"God….GOD…..GODZILLA! GODZILLA HAS COME!" Tanizaki shouted for all across the land to hear. Or, more appropriately, for the Spiral to hear.

Shuichi and I watched with amazement and horror. This thing wasn't a savior, but it was powerful. It gave us hope, that we might soon be free from this Hell. And the ironic thing is that the Spiral forced us to watch. See Shuichi, salvation has come.

'Yes, it has. It's come to kill us as well.' he said.

'Yes.' Chie whispered.

'Kill it.' a person said next to me. And so did the others around him. And so did the others around him. Until they were all shouting…

'KILL IT! KILL IT! KILL IT! KILL IT! KILL IT! KILL IT! KILL IT! KILL IT! KILL IT! KILL IT! KILL IT! KILL IT! KILL IT! KILL IT! KILL IT! KILL IT! KILL IT!'

Godzilla turned towards the land when he heard the signal again. It sounded a lot clearer now. It was a mixture of human screams and voices stacked on each other. Though now it wasn't as painful to hear as usual. Which seemed odd. If anything the noise should be louder because of the proximity Godzilla was towards the shore.

It didn't matter though, Godzilla was going to silence it anyway. After absorbing what radiation that was left behind by the lighthouse creature, he made his way back to the beach. Though once he was on solid ground, Godzilla felt an itch on his back. Probably just a wound healing. Though as he got closer to the center of town. The itchy feeling got worse, forcing Godzilla to reach behind himself to scratch.

That's when he felt something hard, and it seemed to be growing. From what the beast could see, it looked like a spiraling shell. Growing out at incredible speed, pushing Godzilla's fins aside, and weighing him down. The monster fell to the ground under the weight. Then he felt his limbs slowly merging together, along with his stomach becoming moist. Whatever was happening, something was forcing him to transform into some kind of slimy horror.

Though Godzilla wasn't scared, far from it. Because right before his arms came together, he stopped them, and then forced them apart. The strain behind it was immense, it was like attempting to escape Earth's atmosphere. He gripped the ground, and pushed himself back up. When he tried to stand, Godzilla noticed that his legs were already forced together. No matter, he'd rip them apart. With a massive tearing sound filling the air, Godzilla separated his merged legs.

Blood spilled out in droves, though it was nothing he couldn't heal from. Now it was time to stand up straight. While roaring in pain, Godzilla straightened himself despite the weight that the shell was putting on him. And despite his flesh underneath it tearing, the beast still continued pushing himself. Soon the shell began to crack, and then in one motion. Godzilla lunged up and shattered the shell. Sending bits of shell falling to the ground. Followed by a river of blood covering the ground.

Godzilla was now incredibly tired, a massive loss of blood will do that to you. It didn't matter, the radiation that he absorbed earlier helped to speed up his healing. And as he waited, Godzilla noticed a human down near the ground. He tried to navigate his way through the mess of broken block houses and giant shell pieces. All of which was covered in blood.

Tanizaki wandered amongst the rubble, wondering if any bit of the monster's flesh had come off along with the snail shell. No normal human would even dare go near a beast like this. Though nothing was truly normal anymore. And if he wanted to continue seeing what miracles the monster would bring. He needed to eat. Unfortunately, he couldn't find anything. Not one bit of scale or flesh.

He looked up to see if there was anything still falling down. Only to freeze in the face of sheer terror. Godzilla looked down directly at him. Snarling and breathing out bits of fire. If it was a display of intimidation, it certainly worked. Tanizaki fell back, keeping eye contact with a beast that could take a single step and end his life. He didn't know what to do. What was he going to do? He was at this thing's mercy.

Then, the ground started shaking. Both the man and monster looked confused. Then they both heard a noise coming from the center of town. Where DragonFly lake used to be. The chamber was opening up, and out came a massive length of human hair.

Everyone cheered when the monster hit the ground. Everyone remained silent when the monster began to stand up again. And everyone screamed like banshees when the monster shattered the snail shell. Though while everyone else cried and screamed. Me and Shuichi watched with secret delight. I imagined my brother being strong enough to do the same. The thought made me smile.

'You traitor.' Mitsuo, my brother, said to me. 'You've embraced the spiral, and yet you wish to leave it!?'

Did you really want to embrace the spiral Mitsuo? You suffered the same way as the monster.

'I LEARNED THAT I WANTED TO BE A SNAIL! THE SPIRAL IS OUR NEW SALVATION, AND YOU REJECT IT'S GIFT!?'

There's no need to shout Mitsuo, I'm right here.

'GGGGRRRR! If my fate didn't kill it. Then perhaps yours will!'

I feel an all too familiar feeling. One of pain and attention, one that I thought was cut off from me by Shuichi. But now it was back, stringing out my hair and draining me of my life. Alongside all the other women, whose hair started growing and growing. Until it reached the ceiling and made its way through the entrance tunnel.

Godzilla and Taniziki watched as kilometers of hair emerged from the chamber. It was curled up together, forming spirals that twirled in mid air. Taniziki was hypnotised by it, losing himself in the spirals. While Godzilla simply watched it with the same attention.

The Spiral noticed that there was a human watching as well. It briefly questioned how it missed him, and then sent out something to pull him back in. The corpse of Mitsuru was flung up onto the surface by the hair. When it hit the ground, it took a while for it to stand up. Like a car engine starting, it made a bunch of inhuman sounds before it stood up straight. What was left of Mitsuru was nothing more than a vessel. A tool to be used to pull down the few remaining stragglers.

Mitsuru made his way towards Taniziki. Slowly walking his way over like a zombie. His jaw hanging down and his skin flaking off. He broke Tanizki out of his trance when he came into eye contact with him. The man screamed in horror and tried to run, but it was too late. Mitsuru grabbed him, and started dragging him across the blood covered ground. Tanizki struggled as best he could, but was then hypnotised by the Spirals again.

Mitsuru was getting closer and closer to the hole. Then the ground started to shake. Mitsuru turned around to what sounded like footsteps. The last thing the zombie saw was the scaly foot of Godzilla coming down on him. By some miracle, it didn't hit Tanizki whose leg was still being clutched by Mitsuru's arm. It had metal parts sticking out of it, similar to those used in cars.

Godzilla hadn't been hypnotised by the hair. He was simply watching it, preparing for it to attack. If this is all the thing had left, then it might as well accept it's fate. Godzilla grabbed a bunch of the hair, only for it to wrap around him. It tried to choke and lift him off the ground, but he was far too heavy. Sick of this, Godzilla started pulling on the hair. Trying to bring the source of the beast up with it.

My hair being grown out and used as spirals makes me feel dizzy. I try to remain as conscious as I can, but it feels like my life is being drained from me. My grip on Shuichi is slipping, I don't know how long I have-

"AAAAHHHHHHH" I shriek. My hair is being pulled on by a monstrous force.

"NNNNOOOO!" I hear Chie scream, though her voice seems to be getting distant.

"Kirie! Let go of my hand!" Shuichi shouts at me, as we're both dragged upward.

I do as he says, mainly because I don't have the strength to question him. Though I do feel my arm that twisted alongside his when we accepted our fate, untwisting. Reforming back to normal, while Shuichi holds onto me. He grips my hair with his reformed hand. We travel closer and faster to the surface, until we feel the ocean breeze across our naked bodies.

I feel lighter than air, then we begin to fall towards the ground. Thankfully it's not that long of a fall, though that didn't make the landing any less painful.

Me and Shuichi finally open our eyes. We gaze upon each other, thankful to still be in each other's arms. We then check our own bodies, and thank whatever God exists, that we haven't broken anything. All we found was cuts and bits of wood sticking out, but nothing above a splinter. Shuichi gets up, but I barely have the strength to move. While he looks around at the waste land that was once Kurozu-Cho. I notice things falling from the sky. Hair that used to be mine, along with the other girl's hair from the Spiral. Along with those girl's dead bodies as well.

One lands right next to me. A hollowed out twisted version of a human, like a mummy's body was wrapped like the cloth that covered it. And they all keep falling from the sky. Shuichi picks me up and runs toward the hills. I roll my head over to look upon Mr. Taniziki, and the massive lizard beast holding the girl's cut off hair.

Godzilla gazes at the ground, where he watches two naked humans run for the hills. One of them rings out like a siren. Their mere presence gives off a signal of pain. Though it begins to fade as they run away. As they get further away from the center of town, the signal begins to decrease. Until there is nothing left, Godzilla's pain is gone. The signal is no more.

The ground shakes as the cavern closes. The Spiral has retreated, as it seems that nothing that it tried worked. Might as well remain underground, and wait for the next settlement to come on by. The humans come, they always come. By the Spiral's determination, Godzilla would leave due to the retreat. It had no reason to fight now that it's opponent had fled.

But that is not what happened. Godzilla simply stood there. Staring down at the ground, with an angry look. This confused the Spiral. What was the beast doing? It wasn't trying to dig down. Not charging up it's breath attack. It was simply, standing there. Why?

The Spiral knew better than to not open that chamber. So it decided to grow new sirens similar to the ones used by humans. It would use these to communicate as best as it could with this monster. Possibly using them as a sound attack as well. Out of the ground sprouted multiple sirens, with spirals lining the inside of them. They rang out with the voice of what once was Shuichi's father.

"WHAT DO YOU WANT, MONSTER!?"

In the rubble and in the hills. The Tanizki, Shuichi, and Kirie all do their best to cover their ears. Shuichi nearly drops Kirie, but holds on despite the noise making his ears bleed. When they got to a grassy field, he immediately laid her down. And protected himself as best he could against his father's awful voice.

Meanwhile, Godzilla didn't even seem to notice. He kept on looking down at the ground below.

"WHAT IS IT THAT YOU WANT!?"

Again, Godzilla followed this up with silence.

"DO YOU WANT TO DIE!? BECAUSE I CAN PROVIDE YOU WITH AN END MOST SPLENDID! SIMPLY STAY STILL, AND LET THE SNAIL SHELL GROW THIS TIME!"

The Spiral tried to curse Godzilla again, but...it couldn't. There was something blocking him, not a force field, but something that messed up the Spiral's senses. It felt wavey and incredibly hot. That's when it realized what Godzilla was doing. He was speeding up the healing process. And the radiation was shedding off. Spelling death for any human near him. How appropriate that there was the same man from before who did just that.

"YOU THINK YOUR RADIATION FIELD CAN PROTECT YOU!? I WILL HAVE YOU IN THE SPIRAL! OR YOU'LL DIE AND BECOME NOTHING MORE THAN A PUPPET! SENSE YOU CANNOT UNDERSTAND ME, YOU DUMB PATHETIC EXCUSE FOR AN ANIMAL! I'LL MAKE SURE YOU BATHE IN THE SAME INSANITY I MADE THE VILLAGERS SUFFER!"

The sirens began screaming, their sirens pierced the ears of the three humans listening. And it wouldn't stop, it kept going for minute upon minute. Shuichi cried out in pain, begging it to:

"STOP!"

Then, underneath the sound of the sirens, Godzilla began breathing in. Building up breath, not for a breath attack, but for a massive, massive roar. One that seemed to pierce the heavens, it made the water and ground shake. It canceled out the noise of the sirens, so the only thing the three humans could hear. Was his massive screech.

SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!

The sirens exploded due to the roar's vibrations. Down in the depths of the City Of Spirals, the twisted people did their best to cover their ears. Yet their arms were too spread out to actually cover their own.

Eventually, Godzilla stopped and looked towards the ground again. Tanizki then noticed Godzilla's fins were starting to glow. That could only mean one thing. And Tanizki had to make a choice, stay here and accept his death. Or run to join the children in the woods. Despite his mad state, the man felt the heat building and realized he'd probably be better elsewhere.

As Tanizki ran, Godzilla fully built up his breath attack. And aimed it straight at the ground. The beam hit the ground with enough force to break Titanium five hundred times over. The beam moved through the ground, until it eventually burst a hole into the City of Spirals. Frying the unlucky tangled humans, and sending radiation burns amongst most of them.

As the screams of a thousand people filled the air. Godzilla simply roared back to them, finally coming into eye contact with the beast it had come here to kill. It didn't matter if the signal was gone. That the screeching inside it's head had ended. Whatever this thing was, it needed to die.

And it would die by the claws of the King of the Monsters.

AUTHOR'S NOTE: Hi everyone, I'm back. If you were wondering where I was, and why I gave up on doing a weekly release schedule on my story Tribute. Well I suffered a little burn out, and I'll be real with you guys. I got PTSD from watching Evangelion, because it felt like I was looking at a mirror with that show. So think of my fanfictions as a means to express my pain, as well as trying to move on.

So I decided to try out an idea that had been rolling around in my head for a while. Hope you enjoyed it, and sorry if I spoiled the ending of Uzumaki for you all. Please give that a read, it's one of my favorite manga.

It's completely optional, you don't have to if you don't want to. My fanfictions are completely free, but the support would be much appreciated. Not to mention I'd work even harder on these things. Right now writing these is more of a hobby.

Anyway, again Thank You, have a nice day.
