In the following month after Izuku's new quirk was uploaded to the registry, he had begun attempting to control it. So far however, it had only come out in sudden reactions, like catching falling objects like glasses of water placed too close to the edge of the table or one day at Izuku's school, a soccer ball coming right for his face. It was quite frustrating to Izuku, especially since the only conscious effort that managed to make the quirk appear just made the arm follow his in a ghostly after image.
Kacchan had been more cautious around Izuku however, though, after it seemed like Izuku's quirk was not going to appear again, Kacchan went straight back to bullying Izuku. Izuku had did his best to make sure his quirk did not lash out at Kacchan when he bullied him. It was starting to seem hopeless.
Eventually however, his training did eventually give him something, his quirk had fully appeared. At the base of it, the humanoid figure created by Izuku had golden yellow skin with that same orange armor on the upper body of the figure. On either side of the chest armor, there are large, purple ladybug designs, those same ladybug designs present on the knees and elbows as well as each side of the hips. There were what seemed like loose, white suspenders hanging from the waist. Around the groin and hips, was some more of that orange armor. Grooves were on the chest armor and lower leg armor, forearm armor and groin armor, but only on the front. The feet seemed to be in boots that were colored the same as the skin with the same purple color soles as the ladybug designs. The boots had an arch in the sole, which clearly separated the heel from the rest of the sole.
Looking at the head, it seemed to be wearing some sort of military style helmet, except it was a part of the head. The eyes were purple, once again, same shade as the ladybug designs. There was also the letter "J" just below each eye which extend to the sides of the lips, almost like they were the paths of tear drops. However, the most attention grabbing part of the head was the large arch in the center with two curved designs like insect antenna engraved on top along with five engraved lines, splitting the top of the head into six symmetrical parts.
After Izuku had finally managed to will his quirk into sight consciously, he immediately ran to his mother, the humanoid following closely behind. Inko was shocked to see this golden yellow skinned humanoid following her son around and scheduled another visit to the quirk doctor for the next day.
Once the next day came and Izuku and Inko were talking to the quirk doctor, Izuku had summoned this humanoid in the doctor's office to show the doctor. The doctor was astounded by the figure, and it seemed his earlier assumption that the figure's stature was tied to the kid's. Same height and all. After writing on his clipboard about this, he asked Izuku to come to the back room to get some measurements done on this humanoid.
Putting it on the scale, it seemed completely weightless, which was quite odd. After handing the humanoid various weights and having Izuku use the humanoid to lift said weights, it was inconclusive as it had no problem, even with the 100 pound weight they had available. After having the humanoid dunked in water, it was confirmed it did not breathe and likely did not have organs as an x-ray showed only an outline of the figure. Most interestingly is that when Izuku was using his quirk, dopamine was flowing to the part of the brain which controls determination.
The doctor walked out with Izuku and Izuku sat with his mother. "So, we have no idea how strong this thing is as we don't have the equipment to find it's limit. It has no weight, and no organs. Now, what is most interesting about this is what causes it to activate. Every part of the brain controls a certain emotion, whether that be fear, happiness, sadness or what. Dopamine is what controls some of these. In the part of the brain that controls determination, dopamine levels spike immensely when his quirk is activated."
"So it is tied to his willpower?" Inko asked curiously.
"In short, yes, that is exactly what it is" The doctor answered.
"That is so cool! So that means I can be a hero!" Izuku nearly shouted.
The doctor chuckled at the kid as he and his mother left, now more sure of what his quirk is.
The next day at school, Izuku was showing off his quirk to his classmates who were mesmerized by it. "He is super strong, he can lift 100 pounds and that isn't even his limit. He doesn't need air either and he is weightless." Izuku told his classmates, who were still admiring the visuals of the figure.
"What did you call it?" One of his classmates chirped.
"Golden Experience, because of his skin!" Izuku said, quite excited to be receiving positive attention.
However, one boy and his two friends had been quite annoyed. Specifically one boy, Kacchan. So all the sudden that stupid Deku has a quirk? Not in a one million years, he was hiding it from me! Kacchan thought bitterly.
The moment Izuku started talking about how his quirk recently appeared, Kacchan snapped.
"YOU LYING DEKU YOU WERE JUST HIDING IT!" Kacchan shouted as he charged Izuku, little explosions popping in his hands.
Once he was close enough, Kacchan tried to jump, attempting to land a hit on Izuku's face from above. This was quickly put to a stop by the teacher in the room, splitting the two apart just before recess started, allowing the class to play outside. Izuku was quick to follow the class as they charged top speed outside to play.
Kacchan however, grabbed his two minions first and made their way after Izuku, slowly, as to not make it obvious. They sat outside and waited for Izuku to walk away from the view of the teacher. He was over in the corner of the school yard, looking down at the ground for some reason. Kacchan signaled his lackeys and made their way over. They walked up behind Izuku, the boy with the long fingers quirk grabbing his right arm and the chubby kid with bat wings grabbing his left arm, holding him in place. Kacchan then walked in front of Izuku holding his hand up to his face.
"Why did you hide your quirk you Deku?!" Kacchan shouted at Izuku, explosions crackling in his hands.
Izuku shook his head vigorously. Kacchan did not like that answer, he started to press his hand onto Izuku's face, just barely putting soot marks on his face when a golden skinned hand shot out from his left arm, throwing the chubby kid to the ground and swinging the arm in a left hook, catching Kacchan right in the ribs. Golden Experience then formed it's right arm out of Izuku's, tossing the kid with the long fingers quirk like a ragdoll. Izuku backed away, Golden Experience then flew forward at Kacchan just as he had recovered from the blow to the ribs and shouted "MUDA!" as loud as it could before punching Kacchan with it's right hand right in the chest, knocking him down.
Izuku looked on in stunned silence, now wondering why his stand shouted "it's futile" like that while he surveyed the carnage. The two lackeys had recovered and ran off while Kacchan was sitting on hit butt, wondering what the heck happened, Izuku was never that powerful before. Both of their thought processes were cut short as the teacher came over because of the sounds of the scuffle and Golden Experience shouting "Muda". The teacher only caught a glimpse of Golden Experience retreating back to Izuku, fading into form with Izuku's current stance.
Both boys were suspended for fighting. Inko had to drive to the school and pick up Izuku, she was livid. "YOU CANNOT JUST GO HITTING PEOPLE IZUKU!" She screeched as she drove them home.
"B-but Kacchan hit me first!" Izuku choked out between sobs, now caused by the guilt of having his mother yell at him.
Inko stopped her lecture at this, now beginning to fume. Two incidents where Kacchan was bullying her Izuku? She had to do something. She arrived at their small apartment, carrying her now sobbing Izuku inside and setting him down in the living room while she walked back to her bedroom, pulling her phone out and dialing Mitsuki Bakugou.
Inko was quick to explain the situation to Mitsuki, both mothers now positively enraged by Kacchan's actions. They then called the school, explaining what the pair had concluded, Kacchan instigated it and Izuku unintentionally retaliated. The school was quick to remove the mark on Izuku's record, afraid of what two angry mothers could achieve.
The next day was horrible for Izuku, everyone avoided him like the plague. Not brave enough to say something to him, but still talked behind his back. Izuku sat sadly at his desk, it had returned to what it had been like before he got his quirk, absolutely no friends and nothing left but to sit through school alone.
