Enjoy Chapter Three! Also, I'm not sure if my friend is reading this or not, probably not. (He probably doesn't like Miraculous, and he certainly doesn't know that I have an account on here. LOL) But if that friend is reading this, thank you for letting me rant to you! It made me feel a lot better and I thought that was really sweet of you. This chapter is dedicated to you! :)

"I know Lila is lying."

"What?!" he sputtered. "How?"

Alya looked solemn as she deadpanned. "A girl named Dahlia Margerie."

Adrien seethed. "If you knew the snake was lying the entire time, why were you so harsh on Mari? Did you have any idea what she was going through? Every single day, she would get taunted by most people in our classes and a lot of hate on her social media. Are you that selfish?"

At least Alya had the shame to look down. Adrien took a deep breath before continuing. "I don't know who this Dahlia girl is, but if you really want to help, then let's do it. How did you find out about this girl?"

MLB

"Kitty!" Marinette exclaimed. "Where were you?"

Adrien smiled at her and kissed her cheek. "Nothing, uh Father! Yeah. Father wanted to discuss something."

Marinette frowned, and her eyebrows furrowed in concentration. "he didn't say anything, did he?"

"No, he informed me that all of my photoshoots on Saturday are canceled." This wasn't exactly a lie. After meeting with Alya, the blond had rushed to his father's office to clear his schedule for one of the days. When he had told Gabriel what was happening with Marinette, his father's eyes had gone dark with anger and a mild look of protectiveness had crossed his face. Instantly, the old designer had cleared Adrien's schedule without any arguments.

Marinette's eyes lit up, "That's great! I just had to help Maman and Papa today, with something, and..."

Adrien nodded and tuned her out. He massaged his temples as he let out a sigh. He was tired. More than he wanted to admit. First balancing his daily work life with being Chat Noir was hard enough. Now, finding dirt about Lila. But then Adrien realized what Marinette had done for him, and for everyone else, despite being Ladybug. So if his Lady could manage it. He would try to as well.

Marinette was gone the entire day, and Adrien couldn't really blame her. She didn't live with her parents, and her parents missed her, as well as the other way around. She had left her parents to live with him, the max he could do is be happy and understanding about it. He cursed himself as he realized that he should've met with Alya throughout the day when Marinette wasn't here so she wouldn't try to stop him from what he was doing. Not to mention the fact that if Alya apologized, the girls would be going through a LOT of girly drama. He and Felix had enough experience with their female cousins. Adrien shuddered as he even thought about it.

Evening fell quickly upon Paris, and Adrien decided that it was the perfect time to meet Alya. He had received a text earlier from his fiancee. Marinette had said that she was staying with her parents for the night. Again, he wasn't really surprised, and this time it worked in her favor because he could continue with what he was doing without Marinette interfering. It was convenient.

An hour later, Adrien was entering a small cafe near his apartment. Despite his location, he hadn't been there before. It was a cozy building in a secluded area of Paris. The cafe was snuggled between trees. The interior was designed to replicate Snow White's cottage, with fairy-tale paintings, and various wanted posters of criminals in the 'Fairyland'.

Adrien smiled to himself, he would have to take Marinette on a date here. "Yo, Sunshine!" Alya waved at him, "Over here!"

The boy walked over to Alya's table and sat down. "Don't call me Sunshine."

Alya laughed. "Okay, Sunshine!"

The two teens exchanged a pleasant conversation for a few minutes, to avoid any suspicious eavesdroppers, when they were certain that whoever was listening had stopped, Alya whipped out her phone and began her story.

"Okay, I know I told you I knew Lila was lying, but I only found that out recently." She paused dramatically, before continuing. "As time went by, I started to notice that Lila's lies started to sound suspicious. Then, last week, she blew it off."

"Alya!" A sugary voice exclaimed! "I'm so happy!"

"What Girl? Did Mari-brat finally move to Texas or something?"

Lila looked sad at the mention of Marinette as if she was bullied by her. "I wish. I really don't know why she bullies me like that! I'm nothing but nice to her, and now, she also has Adrien! I don't why though!" Lila started crying.

Alya looked angry for a minute before she smiled at Lila. "What were you going to say?"

Lila slowly wiped all of her tears. "I know Marinette is still here, but yesterday, Rena Rouge stopped by! She said that she was renouncing her miraculous and then was giving it to me!"

"Really?" There was a slight growl in her voice, but it went unnoticed by the Italian.

"Yeah!"

Adrien snickered, earning a glare from Alya.

"After that, I went onto social media and searched up Lila Rossi. Of course, at first, things like '18-year-old Girl with Tinnitus saves an innocent man accused of theft' and 'Lila Rossi, the kind soul who donated all of her family's fortune to the Senior Home' showed up. But I knew there was more than that. After some digging, I came across a post under the category 'Lila Rossi', but it had no trash about Lila saving anyone. It was a picture of a dark-haired girl with turquoise-blue eyes that I had never seen before."

Adrien nodded, urging Alya to go on.

"I clicked on the picture and saw that the girl was sitting with a boy, with short, caramel-colored curls, olive skin, and gleaming hazel eyes. Both of them appeared to be our age. The girl and the boy were sitting by the window, while it rained with a steaming mug of either cocoa, milk, or coffee."

"Um, okay. But why are you telling me this?" Adrien asked.

"Hold your horses, Sunshine! Underneath the picture was a caption that read, My first Thanksgiving in Annapolis with my boyfriend Oliver! Thanks to Lila Rossi, I was able to start a brand new life, in a brand new place, where I found the love of my life!"

Adrien's eyes widened as a realization hit him. But he still stayed silent.

"I was really confused. Why in the world would Lila Rossi help a girl move to the United States, and get an American boyfriend when she herself is the world's most insecure girl?"

"So you messaged her."

"Yes," Alya said. "I messaged her and asked her about it. And she told me the entire story. And left no details out."

"What do you mean?"

"I mean, that Dahlia Margerie was the first victim of Lila Rossi."

YES! I stuck to my update schedule! I really love where this story is going, and I hope you do too! I'm really excited to finish this, and please leave a review! The next one or two chapters will be the backstory of GUilia Verducci. Now that you know a lil' bit about her. Giulia is very important to this story! Please leave a review of your thoughts on this chapter! It means a lot to me, and your feedback will help me grow as a writer!
