Sam looks over towards the pier from the parking lot and sees the last of Delacroix people leaving.

He throws the football to AJ one last time, "Hey, let's get ready to go. We need to help your Mom close up.

A.J. and Cass starts heading over to the pier entrance with Sam.

Sam looks up at the pavilion and sees Sarah dancing extremely close with Bucky under the pavilion's floodlights.

He furrows his brow in anger and starts sprinting to the pavilion.

"Dude? What the hell is this?"

Sarah and Bucky steps away from one another startled by Sam's interruption.

Bucky rolls his eyes in the back of his head at Sam's response to him dancing with his sister.

"Sam, what the hell is wrong with you? We were dancing." Sarah answers with the same energy.

Sam looks over Sarah's shoulder to stare at Bucky.

She walks over to Sam before the boys reach the pavilion entrance, "Who do you think you are? You are not my father Sam Wilson and if you were, you'd still get this full read."

The kids finally reach the pavilion as the chaos subsidies.

Sarah leans into Sam's ear, "You need to stop, like seriously. I survived this life without you for five years. Really more like seven because you were on the run before to the blip."

She leans away from his ear as her kids run to hug her.

Now, you would really be helping me out if you took the boys home and get them to bed. They always go to bed late cause I'm constantly having to close down the restaurant by myself because I can't afford to hire any help."

"Besides, aren't supposed to be taking them fishing early tomorrow morning?".

Sam observes Bucky cleaning off the rest of the tables, only glancing up at the two occasionally.

He scoffs, "O.k. guys, you go and start making your plates to take home then put the rest back in the big fridge."

The boys begin walking over to the pier kitchen to make plates to take home.

Sam purses his lips together pissed that there was nothing he could do about Sarah's response because she was right.

He'd been missing from their lives for quite some time only returning to them few months ago.

He stares at Bucky once more, "You better make sure my sister comes home in one piece," he points at Bucky.

Sarah grabs at her temples while shaking her head at Sam's directive towards Bucky.

"Sam? I can take care of myself, been doing it for a while now. Go."

Sarah's anger wasn't because of Sam's reaction but how he interrupted the one time she felt safe and vulnerable since before the death of her husband.

Sam's eyes meet Bucky's as he's returning from the trash bag drop off at the pier entrance.

A.J. and Cass waves bye to Bucky running to Sam's truck.

Sam stops briefly, "I had one rule, don't flirt wife my sister."

Bucky tilts his head, "It was a dance Sam, it's not that serious."

"I just don't like the idea of you using my sister as a way for you to get back into the dating game, you feel me?"

Bucky's insulted by Sam's insinuation but allows his comment, "I was just dancing with her."

"Well, it looked like more than just dancing," he angrily whispers.

Bucky knew there was more to him and Sarah dancing but, he wasn't ready to reveal that to Sam.

"I'm just trying to get to know you and your family. It's nothing more than that. Dr. Raynor says that I need to nurture relationships. Like I said it was just dance. I haven't danced since 1943."

Sam looks at Bucky with heavy skepticism.

He turns up one corner of his mouth as skeptics do, "Yeah…o.k."

Sam makes his way to the parking lot where the boys were waiting.

Bucky ponders his earlier actions while making his way back to the pavilion. He stares down at his shoes as each foot gently lands on the wooden slabs of the pier.

He starts to consider what Sam said and how he wasn't sure if he was doing what Sam said or not.

Was he using Sarah to get his feet wet in this new unfamiliar dating game?

He felt a connection to Sarah that he didn't feel with the waitress Leah back in Brooklyn.

He begins rubbing his hands together with intense thought.

As he's approaching the pavilion, he hears the piano intro to "Beauty" by Dru Hill.

When he looks up at Sarah wiping down the cutting boards everything begins to move in slow motion however, his heart begins to speed up.

A deep panic attack sets in. Not like the ones from his nightmares of being The Winter Soldier but, the panic of never dancing with Sarah again and the dread of her dancing with someone other than him.

Sarah sees Bucky slowly making his way back to the pavilion, she notices the dazed look upon his face.

"Hey," she walks up to him as he enters the pavilion, "Hey you, o.k.? Don't worry about Sam, his bark is worse than his bite."

She grabs his hand and places a new cleaning rag into his hand, "Just do me favor and wipe down these last few tables," she points to which tables, "…then I can close up for the night."

Bucky look at her hand touching his vibranium one as she places the rag in his hand. He instinctively wants to touch her hand with his right, but he doesn't.

"Sure, no problem," he smiles.

Sarah sees the beads of sweat on his forehead, "Are you sure you're alright?"

"Yeah," he shakes out of his panic attack, "Yeah, yeah…it's just really hot."

"Yup, down here the heat stays well into the evening and night."

She walks away, "It takes some getting used to but…I supposed you won't have to put up with it for too long. You're heading back to Brooklyn tomorrow, right?"

Sarah walks toward the grill to clean it.

"Well…" he begins cleaning the last of the tables, "…I was going to hand around a few days. You know…like find out what a vacation feels like."

She grabs a bucket with a grill cleaning brush and bright yellow rubber gloves inside, "Sounds like fun. If you need any ideas of where to visit let me know."

Bucky's finished with cleaning off the tables.

He observes Sarah using plenty of elbow grease to cleaning the grill.

He approaches her as the Four Tops song, "Still Water, (Love)" plays.

He motions to her to hand him the gill brush, "Here, let me try."

Winded from working so hard at cleaning the grill off, she happily hands over brush.

She watches as the burned food and fat on the grill are easily removed as Bucky uses his left arm to clean it.

"I'mma just tell you, you easily just knocked off at least an extra an hour and a half of me closing down the restaurant," she chuckles, "I'll have to come up with a way to pay you back for this."

Bucky stops cleaning the grill, "Well…I mean Sam's gonna be with the boys tomorrow fishing maybe you could show me around town. Show me the sights."

He quickly looks away in disbelief that he said his suggestion out loud, "I mean unless you have something else to do."

Sarah drops her shoulders, "Well…I was hoping to have a lazy day tomorrow. The boys are gonna be gone til Monday. Sam's supposed to take them fishing then spend the night in New Orleans for a festival that the boys wanted to go to.

After feeling rejected on his suggestion he returns to cleaning the grill.

"Yeah, sure of course I understand."

Bucky begins spraying down the grill with the hose, he wants to somehow invite himself over to Sarah's house tomorrow to hang out with her but, he can't seem to find a legitimate way of doing it without imposing on her "Vacation Day."

Sarah empties out the register and places money into a bank deposit bag.

Bucky's back is turned to her spraying down the grill.

He looks so alone in the world spraying down the grill.

She zips the bank deposit bag, "You know I'm not going to doing anything tomorrow if you want to come by and just…hangout. I got some new recipes I planned on working on," she gets closer to him, "If you're not too busy seeing the area you can come by and tell me what you think."

Her invitation feels more like a pity than an invitation.

"No…I don't want to disturb your plans; I should've known you had plans tomorrow. A busy woman like yourself needs time for herself."

Sarah's disappointed but she doesn't show it. She was hoping that he would commit to coming over, but it doesn't phase her.

She figures the intimate dance they shared earlier meant more to here than to him.

Besides, she knew having two adolescent boys would scare off even the most genuine of gentlemen callers.

The closing down of the pier is done and the two walk down the pier to the parking lot making light discussion of the events of the day.

Sarah has a tray of cooked food under her arm that she plans on donating to the homeless shelter tomorrow morning.

Bucky's enjoying the light discussion they're having about the people who came by and Sarah's enjoying having someone to talk with about the day-to-day operations of the family business and the people she has to deal with.

Once the two reach Sarah's car Bucky takes this time to remind her, "Look, I know you can take care of yourself but…", he nods his head in agreement, "…your brother did threaten me with making sure you got home in one piece so…"

"Oh," Sarah responds surprised by Bucky insistence on following her brother's order, "Well, I'm just gonna stop by the bank and make this night deposit so…feel free to follow me if you want."

She places the tray of food on the back passenger seat of her pickup truck then closes the door.

It's an awkward moment for the two standing under the parking lot lights.

The only noises to be heard are from crickets and the other Louisiana insects that get busy after 9p.

The intimate tension between the two was as thick as the humidity.

"Well, I hope you come back to hang out with me…I mean…us real soon."

Bucky nervously rakes his right hand through his hair, "Yeah, me too."

He wants to hug her just to have her close to his chest once more but figures that a hug would be inappropriate for their brief familiarity with one another.

He instead, holds the driver's door open for her, "Goodnight."

Sarah climbs into the driver's seat and turns on the ignition, "Goodnight."

Bucky closes the door and begins making his way to his rental car.

Sarah drives along the dark OSCA Road as it turns into McWhorter Drive leading into the center of town.

Her clean up playlist to plays, "You're always on my mind'", by SWV through the Bluetooth speakers of the truck.

She glances ever so often in the rearview mirror to see if Bucky's still following her.

Bucky, on the other hand drives with the rental car in complete silence.

He drives close enough so that no one can break in between the two vehicles.

In his silent drive, he begins thinking about what it would've been like to date a black woman back in the 40's and how he would've been ostracized by his community for doing so.

He was thankful that today he didn't have to deal with the judgment of a white man dating a black woman.

Sarah parks in front of the bank.

She gets out and makes the deposit then gets back in her truck.

Bucky does his surveillance thing, checking his review and side mirrors as she makes the bank deposit.

The two finally, reach the Wilson family home.

Sarah gets out grabbing the tray from the back seat and closes the door.

Bucky watches as she approaches the passenger's side of his rental car.

He rolls the window down, "Well, thanks for making sure I got home in one piece."

The two laugh simultaneously, "It was my pleasure," he tells her.

Bucky rolls up the window as she walks away towards the house.

Once inside he drives away, contemplating if he would have the courage to stop by the next day.

As he drives along the road, he decides to forget about what's supposed to happen tomorrow and focuses on the dance they shared at the pavilion.

This was not a "Getting his feet wet in the dating scene," thing.

It was something way deeper than he thought or expected from meeting Captain America's sister.
