Luke, Han, and Leia used Eltar as their home base of operations. But a home away from home was crucial to their continued service to the galaxy.
Their ship, the Star Rise became their home. All of their belongings remained on that one ship. Their main source of income became odd jobs, of which there were plenty. Of course, they never worked directly with the Empire or Rebels. Only locally, or only with groups and people far removed from the empire.
Luke and Han were best suited for this type of life. Han was Dev Harcon, Luke was Zekk Lowie, and Leia was Boushh. Leia always wore a disguise or a helmet when they went out. She would have been to easily recognized had she not. So Dev worked around ship yards and mechanics shops. Zekk jumped around in resturants and on farms. And, much to everyone's suprise, Boushh got along as a stylist, hairdresser, and makeup artist. Again to their great suprise, the air of mystery and the constant travel made Boushh's skills even more desirable. The three rangers were able to keep food on the table and expenses paid.
The Ghost Crew run into the Power Rangers on a mission to rescue a rebel cell in danger of capture.
When they arrived, the Power Rangers were already there, beating back the storm troopers. The Ghost Crew rushes out, fighting the troopers, watching the rangers. Suddenly, the ground shakes, and fear creeps into everyone there. As they finish off the storm troopers, an AT-AT appears on the horizon.
The Power Rangers waste no time. They order the Ghost Crew to run, and to take the rescued rebels with them. The Ghost Crew get a good distance away from the AT-AT when three giant robotic beasts appear from nowhere. A red Krayt Dragon, a yellow Wolfcat, and a giant blue Banshee bird. The Rangers disappear, and the robots form up into an even large, human shaped robot, with the red Krayt Dragon as the head and torso and the other two as the legs. The giant robot makes quick work of the AT-AT, blowing it into smithereens and pulverizing the pieces. As soon as the walker is destroyed, the robot disappears, and so do the rangers.
It is all over the holonet. A giant tri-colored robot taking down an AT-AT like it is nothing.
The Imperial Senate is up in arms. Mon and Bail are among the few who do not worry. They secretly rejoice in the defeat. Later that night, Bail contacts Soto and the fleet. Soto delivers the report from the Ghost Crew, who witnessed the entire thing. Bail is both amazed and terrified.
This is not the only run in. There are several more just like it. The few survivors of one similar incident report their findings to their commander. It flies up the ranks. The Emporer hears of it before long. Vader himself is disbatched to 'deal with' this threat. But he's always too late. The giant robot, a zhord, it will much later be revealed, appears with the blasted Power Rangers, but only when a much larger threat has manifested. And as soon as that threat is dealt with, the Rangers and their robot would disappear. The people of the wider galaxy rejoiced (in secret). The Empire reveled in disbelief.
