A little later in the afternoon, back in Cafe Mew Mew, the crowd was starting to wind down as they were thanking the girls for their services and left plenty of tips. All in all, a pretty good work day for the girls as they convened to the kitchens, where Ryou was looking around at the small gathering.

"Okay, girls... gentlemen." Ryou nodded towards Aoyama Masaya and Tasuku Meguro, the former of which gave a small smile. "All in all, not a bad business day as per usual. No Chimera Anima attacks since the late afternoon... though Ichigo, I would like to bring up how you lollygagged back and not came back to work as soon as you came in."

Ichigo stammered. "Excuse me! Pudding was with me too!"

"Yes, and Pudding is a little kid. It's natural for her to be distracted... but you're only enabling her behavior with your lateness." Ryou gave a frown.

Ichigo narrowed her eyes, but decided not to press the issue further with Ryou anymore, knowing that saying anything further would have docked her pay to basically non-existent at that point. Mint, who had been enjoying her tea, gave a slight giggle as she said, in her pompous tone. "Sounds like, as usual, our fateful leader is lazy."

Ichigo turned her angry gaze towards Mint. "Oh really? I didn't see you get up and help at all when I got back to my shift."

"I was just taste testing the tea, to make sure it was of high quality." Mint opened one eye towards Ichigo. "Not that you would understand."

The red haired woman resisted every urge to get up and punch her pompous friend in the face, taking a deep breath and reminding herself of all the good qualities Mint has. Zakuro, who was watching the tense look, turned to Mint and tapped her shoulder. "Now, now, Mint, don't be too hard on her. After all, if it hasn't been for her, we wouldn't be able to get out of all the trouble that we have."

"Uh... yeah." Mint paused, blushing a bit at her idol.

"Regardless..." Masaya coughed, causing people to turn to him. "It would seem that we all did our jobs today, and we managed to quell the town once more. No Chimera Animas running around and causing mayhem..."

"For now." Ryou spat as he rolled his eyes. "But you never know. Honestly, you'd think that when those aliens left, they would have taken their monsters with them."

Everyone winced as they noted the angry look Ryou was wearing on his face, and knew better than to argue with him. However, Berry, the newest Mew Mew, tried to lift everyone's spirits. "I know I haven't experienced the alien attacks as much as you five, but all I can say is, well... we still did good regardless. I just wish I could have met the aliens that caused trouble for you."

"W-well, they're probably still on their home planet, trying to revive their own home to their former glory, so that it can be a better place to live in..." Retasu pointed out, before giving a smile. "You know, call me crazy, but I actually wouldn't mind visiting their planet..."

Everyone turned their eyes towards the green haired woman in shock as Ichigo frowned, "Why would you want to?"

"W-well, from what Pai-san and the others have described, the planet they lived in was probably good before it became desolate." Retasu explained, before giving a sad sigh. "I mean, when you think about it, when they left Earth because their species was about to be extinct, they were forced to live underground because the surface proved too harsh. Part of me still hopes that with the Mew Aqua we gave them, they're able to thrive."

Ryou could only give a small scoff before rolling their eyes. "Well, as long as they're not trying to threaten us, I say good riddance."

"Oh come on, Ryou." Keiichiro spoke up. "I know you still have a little... issue when it comes to the Cyniclons, but Deep Blue is gone. Kisshu, Pai and Taruto aren't going to take over our world, they have no reason to disturb us anymore..."

As they were chatting, unknown to anyone else from within the building, a large beam of light surrounded the large building of Cafe Mew Mew as a vacuum like sound started to sound from above, pulling the building from its hinges.

Since they were in the kitchens, though, the others were not aware of what was going on outside as Ryou gave a sigh. "I know that, but still..." Ryou held his head. "Look, I'm sorry if I'm being a bit of an ass..."

"Moreso than usual?" Pudding said, rather innocently, causing everyone to turn to the little girl in shock. Ichigo grinned nervously as she tried to wave her arms to stop Pudding from saying the next sentence she had just uttered, "Ichigo always said you were one behind your back."

Ichigo shrank as Ryou turned an angry glare towards the red head. "Oh, did she now?"

Everybody was looking up in the sky in pure shock as they saw the entire Cafe Mew Mew building rising up above the sky, camera crews surrounding the area at this rare sight as the building started to lift itself away.

"I didn't know she was there, I swear!" Ichigo tried to argue.

"No excuses, Ichigo!" Ryou frowned. "You know I'm docking your pay, right!"

Masaya frowned as he walked over to Ryou. "Oh come on, Ryou, cut Ichigo some slack, okay? I know she's a bit... well, eccentric..."

"Excuse me?" Ichigo shook her head in shock as she looked towards her boyfriend, looking rather hurt.

"In a good way." Masaya said, turning to his red haired girlfriend with a smile. "Don't worry, I didn't mean anything like that."

"Oh sure, you WOULD take her side." Ryou crossed his arms.

"I'm just saying, it's not fair for Ichigo to get docked pay just because she swore in front of a child." Masaya said.

"You know what? I don't need to hear it! I'm going down to the lab, don't bother me!" Ryou said as he started to walk towards the door as he stepped out and closed it...

Ryou gave a loud yelp as he suddenly felt himself clinging onto the side of a windowsill as he turned towards the Cafe, which was now heading up towards the sky. "What the-?!"

Keiichiro paused as he gave a sigh. "Maybe I better speak to him. Aoyama, you might want to come with me, maybe talk to Ryou a little and specify what you meant."

Masaya looked over to Keiichiro and nodded as he turned to Ichigo. "I'll wait for you once you changed and we'll go on our date."

Ichigo gave a nod towards her boyfriend as Masaya and Keiichiro opened the door and walked out before closing it...

They quickly found themselves hanging onto the roof of the building as they looked over at the flying Cafe Mew Mew, going away further and further.

"Oh boy..." Keiichiro yelped as he tried to pull himself up.

"Wait... what just-" Masaya asked before looking up and gasping. "ICHIGO! THE MEWS! THEY'RE IN THERE!"

Masaya immediately picked up his cell phone and started to dial Ichigo's phone. "Ichigo, please pick up!"

Ichigo's phone did ring... but unfortunately, this was the day that Ichigo had decided to put her phone in her locker, so that Ryou would not berate her for little 'distractions'. So, the girls and Tasuku were still in the kitchens as Pudding looked towards Ichigo, a guilty look on her face. "I'm sorry, Ichigo onee-chan. I didn't know you were talking badly to Ryou. I was only repeating what you said about him."

Ichigo paused, before sighing. "I guess it can't be helped. Oh well, we shouldn't worry about that. Anybody got any ideas for the Halloween festivities in a couple days?"

"You mean the Halloween parade?" Zakuro said, looking up in curiosity.

The red haired girl nodded.

Berry, looking rather interested, spoke up first. "Oh, me and Tasuku are planning on watching the Halloween parade in Shibuya! I think it would be a fun day..."

Retasu gave a small smile. "I think that's a wonderful idea, Tasuku. I was thinking about attending myself... dress myself up a bit."

Everyone looked at Retasu in interest as Mint asked, "Who do you plan on going as?"

Retasu blushed a bit before giving a smile. "Actually, I was thinking of going as... myself."

Everyone looked at her strangely, Retasu noting the weird looks her friends were giving her. "Y-you know, my Mew form?"

Now everyone looked at Retasu rather flabbergasted, before Retasu explained. "Oh come on. It's not like anybody KNOWS we're the Mew Mews. If our friends see me, I'll just tell them the attenas are for decoration. Besides, you girls always wanted an excuse to pull out the Mew forms when we're not fighting. Why not Halloween, where our identities don't matter?"

Ichigo paused for a bit as she looked towards the girls, who looked deep in thought. "I don't know about this, girls..."

"You have to admit, Lettuce onee-chan has a point, na no da." Pudding grinned happily. "I've always wanted to show off the monkey tail to my siblings for Halloween and just tell them outright it's part of a costume!"

"It still sounds a bit risky." Zakuro said as she started to get up. "Maybe we better change while we talk about this potential idea... after all, it's safe to say we're done for the day. Besides, I still got a photo shoot to attend to."

"And I still need to get home in time for dinner." Minto said as she started to follow Zakuro. The other girls nodded as they decided to continue their conversation there.

Had the phone still been ringing when Ichigo and her friends walked in, Ichigo would have immediately answered, but when they came in, the phone had mysteriously stopped ringing, the bars on it turning off as it no longer got any service. But still, it didn't deter the girls as they had already started to change.

"I'm just saying..." Ichigo said as she had just finished dressing herself back into her civilian outfits. "It's a little hard enough as it is keeping our secret identities secret, but to flaunt them on Halloween?"

"Why not?" Pudding asked. "It'll be fun... come on, Ichigo, let out the wild side, at least for one night..."

Ichigo paused as she looked over towards her friends, nervously. "Well..." She gave a smile. "I guess being ourselves as Mews for Halloween won't kill us."

The girls laughed a bit as Pudding looked out the window. "Boy, you know, it's getting darker and darker out every day."

"Oh, that's natural, Pudding. It's just the sun losing daylight each minute of each day." Retasu said, putting a hand on her small friend.

Minto paused as she gave a yawn. "Yeah, well, I'm finished dressing up, see you later girls, I'm getting out of here..."

With a swift nod, Mint started to walk towards the work clock and punched out, before humming a bit, exiting through the back door... only to stop short as she looked outside and down below to notice... no ground.

She then gave a loud scream as she closed the door and ran back inside... only for her feet to not touch the ground as she looked down... before giving a yelp and a scream.

The other girls came out... only for them to stop short as they noticed that they were being lifted out of the air too.

"What the-?" Retasu asked as she noted the others and herself flying. "What's happening?"

"Is Ryou messing with us again?" Ichigo growled as she turned to Mint, who was stammering and pointing outside before looking down and yelling. "IF THIS IS YOUR IDEA OF A JOKE, SHIROGANE, I'M NOT PLAYING! I'M OUT OF HERE!"

Ichigo swam towards the door and opened it... only for her eyes to bug out as she looked down to see her planet... the planet Earth, slowly shrinking from view. "Yipe."

"What's wrong, Ichigo onee-chan?" Pudding asked as she peeked out. "Huh? Why... the sun's down. No wonder it's so d-" She then noticed the shrinking Earth from down below. "-dark?"

Retasu, Berry, Zakuro and even Tasuku, who had just came out of the men's dressing room, peeked out and gasped as they noted the background outside... stars were surrounding the building as a large pillar of light seemed to be abducting the entire building. A small meteor passed by the building as they looked in shock.

Ichigo then closed the door in shock as she turned back to Mint, who was still stammering and pointing towards the door, her still figure circling around from the no-gravity. "What's happening?"

"It would appear that we are being abducted." Zakuro pointed out.

"By who?" Ichigo asked as she heard something bump against the building as it seemed to stop flying. "Huh? The building's... still?"

As soon as the red haired girl said that, gravity began to take effect as all the girls (and Tasuku) fell directly to the ground. It was then Masha popped out of Ichigo's bag, starting to scream out its alarm.

"Alien present! Alien present!" Masha called out as Ichigo gave a sigh, before reaching out to Masha.

"Where?" Ichigo frowned before hearing a knock on the door. Ichigo was the first to get up as she opened the back door.

Standing in front of the door was a familiar, smiling, green haired alien. "Ah, Kitten. So glad of you to drop in."

Ichigo, not amused, immediately slammed the door in the alien's face as she turned and sighed. "Ask a silly question... get a funny answer. In this case, the answer isn't funny at all."
