(The Arena)
"Your lives will all be forfeit to my blades! Bloodletting!"
Zenos rushed at Samus, but the bounty hunter flip kicked out of the way, hoping to hit the crazed prince and bury him in the canvas, which was successful when Dhalsim stretched out his leg to kick Zenos and disorient him.
Seeing Zenos buried and unable to move, Bartz smirked and leaped forward for his turn to attack.
"Monk!"
Channeling the name of the class he just shouted out, Bartz dished out three hard punches to the grounded Zenos, the last one hitting his jaw and sending him back.
Zenos merely laughed before rubbing his jaw, barely seeming affected at all. He then noticed Dhalsim spitting out a fire ball at him, to which he grabbed his katana and sliced through it.
"Feckless insignificants! The lot of you! I shall prove my dominance soon enough!"
Dodging Samus' whip, Zenos charged forward and grabbed her, throwing her at Bartz and causing the two to fall to the canvas, Dhalsim teleported to the armored man and grabbed him, twisting his body before thrusting himself into Zenos' stomach, the attack didn't affect all that much before Zenos grabbed the yoga master and twisted him all around before throwing him at Bartz and Samus.
The two dodged this time and looked at each other, a little unsure of what to do.
"We can't give up, remember what Dhalsim said, we have to fight as one!"
Samus nodded and got to her feet. "Right, we just need to not let him have an opening, now let's go!"
Seeing the two get back up to fight Zenos, Linkle couldn't help it, she needed to offer some assistance. So, she turned to her current opponent, King Dedede, and motioned to them.
"Do you mind if we finish this later? They need all the help they can get."
The self-proclaimed King of Dreamland turned to the fight with slightly wide eyes before he smirked.
"You want to get involved in that mess? Ha! Go for it!"
Not quite able to notice his sarcasm on the last words, Linkle nodded before grabbing her crossbows and running over to help.
"Fool." Said King Dedede in a deadpan tone, before his eye caught Fi standing alone and decided to change that.
(Announcer's Booth)
"Really? Well, thank you for bringing this to my attention, I'll have that room sealed, yes, yes, goodbye." Grey said as he hung up on whoever he was speaking to.
"Apparently the random node generator room, was broken into and used, security is looking into it."
Livia raised an eyebrow. "Something must be going on, but what? Maybe a villain plot, M. Bison is obviously here."
Grey considered the idea, finding it plausible. "I wouldn't put it past him, but I would be disappointed, especially since I just got the dome fixed and cleaned up."
Just then, Grey's tablet rung again, to which he answered it with a sigh.
"Oh, you again, wait, just let me….there. Look, I already said sorry for not including you, and yes, it is true that you actually WERE my first pick for the Bug type but give me a break! Sword and Shield had come out and I needed some Galar Pokémon in the roster! You have to understand, look if it makes you feel any better, I'm jumping it up to two Pokémon from each type, so you'll have your chance. Okay, thank you, goodbye."
Putting his tablet back on the table, Grey gave a relieved sigh. "Well, that should be the last time they call…."
Livia smirked. "No offense, but that's what happens when you invite two Pokémon but take away their spot in the tournament at the last minute."
"Yeah, I supposed I did set myself up for that one…"
(The Arena)
Venom laughed sinisterly as he grabbed Cammy out of her Spiral Arrow attack and swung her up and down a few times before tossing her away, Isaac then intervened and shot at him with his Plasma Cutter, to which the symbiote easily dodged the shots.
"How many times must we tell you? Your puny pea shooter will not harm us!" Venom boasted.
Isaac smirked under his helmet, seeing Cammy get back up, taking it as a signal to keep them talking. "You know what? You're right, so how about this!"
Isaac then pulled out his Ripper, which looked like a kind of plasma saw, much to Venom's surprise.
"What the? Where do you keep that?!"
"None of your concern." Isaac said smugly as he swiped the Ripper at Venom who readjusted his body to avoid it, and then doing it again.
"Surprising, but you are still no match for-" Venom started as he was about to slash the Ripper away, only to get caught off guard with a Spiral Arrow by Cammy, knocking him into Isaac's Ripper.
Growling, Venom leaped up and shot webbing at both Isaac and Cammy, before morphing his arm into a hammer-like shape.
Swinging his arm into Cammy, he launched her straight toward Elektra, who was currently fighting off The Spirit with Medli.
Seeing her off, Venom turned to Isaac, who had gotten the webbing off his helmet and got out his Plasma Cutter again. Grinning, Venom rushed forward.
Elektra smirked as she stabbed at what looked like the air, only to hear a groan of annoyance as the Spirit came out of her Phase Walk and attempted to slash at her, only for Elektra to catch her arm and shove her towards an incoming Cammy, having sensed her coming.
Cammy crashed into The Spirit, but she oddly only flinched a bit before standing back upright.
Cammy kipped back up to her feet, ready to go charging back to help Isaac against Venom, when Elektra jumped over her and stabbed at her with her sai.
Realizing that Elektra wasn't going to let her pass, Cammy grabbed her arm and stole the sai from her hands, she tried to return the favor and stab Elektra only for the assassin to kick her hand back.
Elektra then tried to do a takedown on Cammy by wrapping her leg around her other arm, but as she tried to do it, Cammy powered out and shoved Elektra off of her.
The Spirit watched this fight with a devious grin on her face as she summoned her katana, ready to throw herself into this, but then she saw Venom picking up a dazed Isaac over his head, signaling he was going to throw him over to where Cammy and Elektra were fighting.
Taking the hint, Rin looked off for another opponent and saw Medli all by herself, small chuckle escaping her mouth, she activated her Phase Walk and headed over.
"Cannon Spike!"
Cammy launched herself and Elektra into the air with an uppercut-like kick, sending Elektra flipping backwards to her feet, a little dazed.
Just then, a flying Isaac, a victim of a throw by Venom, flew right into Cammy, launching the two back into Elektra.
Despite how dazed she was, Elektra was still determined to eliminate Cammy, picking her up and getting ready to throw her out of the ring.
But Cammy fought her way out of her grasp and throw her over her shoulder to the ground.
"Why do you insist on this? We could use all the help we need in getting rid of Venom!" Cammy pleaded.
"I know, I figured at first I could help, but he isn't the only threat around here. That ghost girl is a good example."
Elektra then swept her feet out and knocked Cammy down, she then picked her up and again tried to throw her out of the ring, this time managing to toss her over the ropes.
However, Cammy grabbed onto the ropes before she could fall into the elimination portal, Elektra saw this and looked to kick her off, but Cammy ducked and leapt right over her, causing Elektra to hit the ropes and get caught in them.
Seeing her chance, Cammy rushed at the ropes and Cannon Spiked Elektra into the air.
"Spiral Arrow!"
With one final spinning kick, Cammy sprung herself off of Elektra to help her grab the ropes and pull herself back into the ring, as Elektra fell into the elimination portal.
Elektra landed in Shadow of Destiny, landing on top of Eike Kusch, who had just found an incredibly convoluted way of avoiding being killed by Vice.
Back in the ring, Cammy looked around to see Isaac activating the thrusters on his suit to help him avoid Venom's attacks, remembering her original mission, Cammy ran over to help.
Seeing himself back in a 2-on-1 situation, Venom growled before disappearing, having used his ability to mimic the environment around him.
Both Isaac and Cammy looked around cautiously, wondering where he went. Isaac then got an idea, as he pulled out his Submachine Gun.
"Alright, Brock! Eat this!" Isaac said aloud as he fired all around him, causing Cammy to duck underneath the shots.
Unfortunately, while the bullets were non-lethal, this didn't make them any less annoying when you get hit in the middle of a fight, as several fighters like Bandeiras, Talbain, Richter, and Whip learned.
Once Isaac got a little dizzy, he stopped and took a look around. "Did I get him?" He said while panting.
The death glares he got from almost every remaining fighter, excluding Venom, got him his answer.
Isaac quickly held his hands up in defense. "Hey, I was just trying to get rid of a big threat! I'm sorry if you got caught in the crossfi-" He started before he got bowled over by an invisible force. The fighters then went back to what they were doing.
Venom chuckled before making himself seen once again. "Ah! Game. Over!"
Isaac quickly tried to grab one of his weapons to shoot Venom off him, but the symbiote quickly swiped it away before picking him up.
Cammy tried to intervene, but Venom intercepted her by turning his arm into a blade and swatted her away, he then sprouted appendages from his back and attached them to Isaac's suit, ripping it off and leaving him in his normal attire.
Kicking the now suitless Isaac away, Venom then shot out a string of web at him, using it to fling himself at Isaac, giving him enough force to knock him out of the ring.
Isaac landed in Alone in the Dark (2008), despite not having his suit or weapons, he quickly got the hang of how to deal with humanz, although he sadly wasn't told about the weird living shadow goo.
(Hotel; 1st Floor Hallways)
"Did Fi say exactly where they were?" Link asked as the group led by Toon Zelda looked around the walls for a clue as to where Ganondorf was.
Toon Zelda grew a nervous look on her face as she looked around and tapped her fingers together. "Well, no."
The group's faces fell, as Link muttered. "Well, that's just great."
The cartoon version of Zelda sighed. "She just said that someone named Hypno and a bug lady were trying to bring Ganondorf to their side."
Lana thought of her words. "Hypno? Like the Pokémon? Why would... Bison must be having him hypnotize people to his side."
Link ran this in his head, realizing it made sense. "You're right, and he must have done the same to Cia to make her think that."
Lana gasped. "Of course, that's why she was accusing him of splitting the Triforce, Hypno must have made her think different events happened."
Hearing this, Juri and Kano, who were hiding on the other side of the wall, looked at each other before smirking, going back to listening in.
Zelda put her hands up. "Okay, so we're definitely starting to figure this out more, which is good, but we still need to find Ganondorf."
Link nodded. "Zelda's right, we may not have lost Ganondorf, yet. We should split up and look for him."
Lana raised her eyebrow. "How are we going to let the others know if we find him or whoever took him?"
Toon Zelda perked up. "Let's all stay on the same floor, and go up together? That way we could hear if someone found anything."
Link and Zelda nodded. "Okay, let's do that, but let's also hurry! There is a lot we need to do right now."
Lana turned to Toon Zelda. "Yeah, those Imperfects can't stay by the Recovery Room forever, but we told them to wait for Fi should we take too long."
Confirming their plan, the group went off in different directions, seeing this, Juri and Kano quickly made themselves scarce.
As they walked, Juri recounted what they heard. "So, Bison is using some Pokémon to hypnotize people into joining him. Ha! Goes to show how much help he needs for his plan!
Kano chuckled at her words. "Yeah, I didn't get too much of their plan, but that sounds quite desperate."
Silence went on for a bit before Juri realized something. "Hey, think you'd be able to scan for that Ganondorf? Seeing their little plan made me remember your laser eye, doesn't it have X-Ray vision?"
Kano smirked, letting out a small laugh. "Funny you should ask, this little trinket of mine picked up someone lying down on the floor two floors above."
Juri's eyes widened, before she grew a grin. "Really? Well then, let's check it out! I could always use a good fight!"
(The Arena)
Bandeiras struck his hand out at Zidane, who back-flipped out of the way, only to find himself needing to get out of the way again from a blow by Jade's staff.
Rosa then leaped at the Edenian ninja and tried to slice her with her katana, but Jade held up her staff in protest.
Zidane was about to come in and give Rosa the advantage when Bandeiras attempted to dropkick him, leaving him to simply lean back to avoid it.
"Sorry, but I don't get hit easily! Booster 8!"
Zidane rushed forward and attempted to smack Bandeiras with a spinning kick, but the ninja caught Zidane's leg and held him there before delivering a backhand punch.
"What was that you said, monkey boy? About not getting hit easily?"
Smirking, Bandeiras hit an upward knee strike to the face before doing a sliding back to knock Zidane down, while falling, he ate a wheel kick that this time knocked him upwards.
Zidane groaned as he hit the ground, but regained his composure when he heard Bandeiras approaching, kipping up, he began floating before swiftly charging forward at high speed.
This took Bandeiras by surprise as he got rammed into by Zidane and knocked into the canvas.
"Ha! A friendly reminder that this isn't over yet! Scoop Art!"
"Since when did you guys think it was a good idea to shout your attacks?!" Bandeiras shouted the last part as he was knocked into the air by Zidane, before he flew up and quickly kicked him back down to the canvas.
"Meo Twister!"
Zidane summoned a compound sword above Bandeiras, which shot a few blasts at him, before falling into the ground under him, triggering an explosion that blasted him back.
"Looks like this fight is mine! Sorry you couldn't stay longer!"
As Zidane floated down and approached Bandeiras, the Brazilian ninja sprung to life and kicked him back, before getting into a stance.
"This is not over yet!"
Bandeiras then unleashed a fury of rapid hand strikes, fast enough to prevent Zidane from blocking or dodging, once he was done, he ran past Zidane, giving him one more hand strike through the chest.
Grabbing Zidane before he fell, Bandeiras quickly aimed to throw him out of the ring before he could recover, but then…..
"HELP! CRAZY SMASH HATING LADY AFTER ME!" Screamed Bowser Jr. as he skidded past Bandeiras, hitting him and causing him to drop Zidane. Mai, who had been chasing the Koopa Kid, then shoved him out of the way, slightly disorienting him more.
Getting up, Zidane noticed the dazed Bandeiras and immediately sprang into action.
"Tidal Flame!"
Zidane leaped up and stabbed the ground, once he did so, pillars of flame erupted from under it, which headed straight for Bandeiras, catching him in them and tossing him from the ring on the last explosion.
Bandeiras landed in Shadow Fight 3, where he spent the entire time fighting through the many opponents thinking about how it was called Shadow Fight when everyone could be seen.
Pumping his fist as his first elimination, Zidane turned to see Rosa relentlessly swinging at Jade, who was managing to keep up, but looked close to tiring.
As the monkey boy ran to help give his ally of sorts the upper hand, he heard the sound of someone yelling. Looking up, he saw the body of Whip, an ironic victim to a strike from Richter's own whip had sent her flying toward Rosa and Jade.
Before he could warn her, the Ikari Warrior had already collided with the woman, who groggily looked up at who had crashed into her.
"Looks like someone doesn't want my node to succeed.." Rosa said as her and Whip got up.
Whip gave a small laugh. "What? No, I was just fighting that Belmont kid, I wasn't prepared for how powerful his whip could be."
While this happened, Jade, who avoided the crash, breathed a sigh of relief. "Phew, looks like I can catch my breath for a few minutes before…."
She didn't get to finish as Zidane came flying at her with his daggers.
"Before what? Sorry! But no rest for the wicked! Emphasis on that last word." He finished with a wink.
Jade gave a sly smile as she got out her staff again. "Oh, you are really barking up the wrong tree, Kotal won't like that."
Zidane eyes perked up. "Kotal?"
Jade's smile grew. "Don't get distracted now!"
Meanwhile, back with Rosa and Whip, the former smirked. "You seem like you're telling the truth, but, my node still needs eliminations, so I'll get back at both of you by eliminating you and not letting him get the satisfaction!"
Rosa then charged at Whip, who waved her whip around and got it wrapped around Rosa's leg, she then pulled, causing the red-clad woman to fall down.
This didn't faze her for long, as she rolled back and kicked Whip in the shin, which caused to hop around on one leg in pain, giving Rosa enough time to leap at her with her sword.
Despite being on one leg, Whip quickly changed her whip into a blade to combat Rosa's katana, seeing they were locked in a struggle Rosa flipped back and kicked at Whip in the stomach when she tried to run at her.
Rosa then launched a shockwave from her katana, Whip took the hit and stumbled back even more. Grinning, Rosa again launched herself at the young Ikari Warrior.
Groggily seeing Rosa flying at her, Whip, in a panic, changed her whip into a gun and fired, launching Rosa back.
As Rosa fell to the ground, Whip regained her composure as her whip changed back.
"Sorry, let's hope your nodal companions can add to you and Carol's total."
Taking off her earrings, Whip knocked Rosa into the air before throwing her earrings after her, which exploded and sent the Kizuna Encounter fighter into the ground hard.
Picking her up, Whip devastated Rosa with a flurry of whip strikes as she knocked her closer and closer toward the ropes until one kick was enough to send her over them to her elimination.
Rosa landed in Skatoony, where she got pelted by Hoo's "paint" while playing a round of Hoo Flung Dung.
As Whip looked in satisfaction at her elimination, she couldn't help but ponder something.
"Is it me, or did that woman and Blue Mary have like, very similar outfits? Odd, oh well." She said as she rushed off to resume her fight with Richter.
"What was I thinking? Getting into a fight with an ICE-type Pokémon?! Why did I have to be distracted by how beautiful it was?!" Kula whined as she shot out a blast of ice at her opponent, Alolan Ninetales.
Naturally, being an ice-type, this didn't have much effect on it at all, it instantly shook off the attack and retaliated with it's own ice attack.
Chunks of ice appeared around Alolan Ninetales, before the Pokémon flash froze and hurled them at Kula, who yelped and skated out of the way.
Skating towards Alolan Ninetales, Kula did a rising kick, taking the Pokémon up with her before kicking it back down.
"Wait a minute! I don't need to really use my ice! I just need to rely on my physical attacks, you'll feel that, won't you?" Kula said with a mischievous smile.
Alolan Ninetales quickly realized what this meant, using Mist, it quickly shrouded itself in a white mist that soon covered the entire area it and Kula were fighting in.
Unable to see well, Kula quickly got an idea, turning her shoes into ice skates again. Kula began spinning around to try and fan the Mist away.
This unfortunately was what Alolan Ninetales wanted as it sent out an Ice Beam at the blue-haired girl.
Kula saw it coming and spun out the way before skating at Alolan Ninetales, doing her spinning ice attack without the ice and hitting the Pokémon multiple times.
Knocking her opponent back, Kula then did a dropkick which knocked Alolan Ninetales to the ground.
"Time to suffer the same fate as Gastrodon!" Kula said before shooting out her hands.
Looking up, Alolan Ninetales saw the snowman coming down at it and got out of the way, only to see Kula skating at it before shooting out her leg in an attempt to kick it in the face, which it narrowly avoided before attacking without using a move, head-butting Kula and knocking her back.
As Kula stayed disoriented, Alolan Ninetales saw a chance to win, using Blizzard, it created one and sent the storm flying at Kula.
Not wanting to give up just yet, Kula fought back against the storm, taking the intense winds and ice hitting her and throwing her back.
Soon enough the storm dissipated and Kula could see herself only a few feet away from her opponent, a small chuckle escaping her mouth, she skated at the ice Pokémon.
While surprised, Alolan Ninetales wasn't going to let it deter it, as it shot out a ray of colorful, eerie lights at the approaching Kula.
Kula stopped in confusion as the lights orbited around her before disappearing, she was about to continue on until she suddenly became dizzy and her eyesight blurred.
Alolan Ninetales nodded, knowing it had won, it then used Blizzard again, and this time the storm was too much for the dazed and confused Kula as it swept her away and out of the ring to her elimination.
Kula landed in Mario Kart Wii, specifically the track DK Summit, the racers quickly got confused as to why a giant snowball began rolling all over the course.
(Hotel; Bison's Room)
"I appreciate your willingness to help, Skarlet. But I must ask, why?"
Talking to Bison was a woman clad in a red-and black outfit, with a wrap and goggles obstructing her hair. The woman tilted her head at Bison's question before answering.
"Shao Kahn has a mild interest in your plan once he heard of the Triforce's part in it, unfortunately, not enough to send himself to fight in your stead, he has a distinct lack of faith in you after the second Megamix Tournament."
Bison's face fell. "Oh."
Skarlet continued. "Another reason, is he heard that D'Vorah has also come here to fight for you, he doesn't quite trust that Kytinn after the death of his daughter, and told me to prevent her from possibly becoming more powerful, last thing he needs is another threat to his claim to the current Outworld throne."
Bison nodded at all of this. "I see, well for now, regardless of reason, all help will be appreciated. And yes, I too am untrustful of D'Vorah, which is why I sent her along with Hypno to bring Ganondorf to our side, I have hope that Hypno can also re-direct her interests to our complete success."
Just then, Hypno walked in, and a grinning Ganondorf followed after him.
Bison grinned right back, before turning to Skarlet. "Go see Jedah and his group of Darkstalkers, they are stationed by the Boiler Room in the Dome."
Skarlet nodded, sneaking a look at Hypno, amd was off.
Bison gave a sigh at Ganondorf. "Ah, Ganondorf! I trust your little inside mission went well?"
Ganondorf pounded his fist into his palm. "Yes! Splitting the Triforce into pieces was not difficult at all, they should be ripe for the taking."
"Good." Bison said, before noticing a lack of a certain someone. "Where is D'Vorah?"
"Unconscious, that little gnat won't be a threat."
Bison blinked. "Oh, well good, but just to be sure. Hypno, find her, and tell her to report back here."
Hypno nodded.
Ganondorf raised an eyebrow. "Why are you concerned about her?"
Bison gave a stern look at the warlock. "We're just making sure she isn't running off to tell anyone about what she has learned. She's not trustworthy after all."
(The Arena)
"Monk!"
Using the mastered version of the attack, Bartz Klauser dived at Zenos, but the armored man countered the blow and struck with his sword, sending Bartz back.
Dhalsim teleported at Zenos, but before he could do anything he was shoulder tackled by the man, who quickly took advantage and kicked him far back.
Now Samus and Linkle charged at the prince, the former taking the lead as she shot her knee out, hoping to knock Zenos in the only area not covered in armor.
It didn't work, Zenos caught Samus and then saw Linkle getting her crossbows out and firing a multitude of arrows at him, he briefly used Samus as a shield before throwing her at the farm girl.
Linkle ducked under Samus, but this left her open to Zenos grabbing her and throwing her up, Zenos then stepped back a bit before rushing forward, smacking Linkle hard with his dash attack and launching her away.
"Foolish simple girl." Zenos said as he watched Linkle hit the canvas hard.
Seeing the downed Linkle, the trio of Samus, Bartz, and Dhalsim looked at each other and nodded before running at Zenos yet again.
Dhalsim then smirked as he began to wave his arms up, appearing to suck in air.
"Great God Agni…"
Seeing this Samus stopped running and got out her Smash Ball, breaking it, Bartz then stopped running and stood next to Dhalsim and Samus.
Samus then activated her Final Smash, leaping into the air and summoning her Gunship for her to stand on. Back in her Power Suit, she fired her Zero Laser at the armored prince.
"Give me power!"
Dhalsim's stomach briefly inflated until he shot out a giant fireball from his mouth, firing it at Zenos.
"Black Mage!"
Using the mastered version of Black Mage, Bartz casted Firaga, Blizzaga, and Thundaga, spells of thunder, ice, and fire respectively at Zenos in succession.
The many attacks combined into one huge multi-colored beam that rapidly raced at Zenos, who stood his ground.
All the fighters briefly stopped what they were doing again as they watched the combined attack fly at the still undeterred Zenos, who had a smirk on his face.
"Perhaps I'm in over my head, but I shall let you know, fire anything at me. I, Zenos yae Galvus, leader of the XIIth Legion, and Crown Prince of the Garlean Empire…..SHALL NEVER SUBMIT TO THE LIKES OF YOU THEE! CONCENTRATIVITY!"
The beam engulfed Zenos after he said that and the armored man disappeared in a explosion of colors, nearly blinding every who looked in that direction.
Bartz covered his eyes, looking between Samus and Dhalsim before shaking his head.
"He….He's not surviving that, he'll be easy to throw out once the attack is finished."
Unfortunately for the trio, a dark purple explosion erupted from where Zenos was last seen standing, absorbing the last of the beam and blasting it away, to reveal Zenos down on one knee, using his Ame-no-habakiri to stay upward, he seemed weakened, but not defeated.
Everyone looked in awe as Zenos got back up, quietly laughing to himself while taking deep breaths.
"You surprised me, I'll admit. But still, victory shall not come to you in the way that you want, you must still earn this win! Soul of the Swell!"
Switching katanas to the one he called The Swell, Zenos dashed toward the still shocked trio, flourish his The Swell and causing blades of wind to emit from it.
The three fighters broke out of their trance and dodged the attack, Dhalsim being the first to attempt to approach the weakened Zenos.
"He's almost done, just need to overwhelm him once and we're golden, now attack!" Called out Bartz.
Dhalsim stretched his foot out at Zenos who caught it and wrapped it around his arm, swinging the yoga master around.
Zenos saw Linkle getting up out of the corner of his eyes. Smirking, he unwrapped Dhalsim from him and launched the Yoga Master in her direction.
As Dhalsim flew at Linkle, he turned his head toward Zenos and shot out a fireball at him, Zenos saw it and sliced through it. But this left him open to a kick from Samus' and her jet boots.
Linkle got up and get herself ready to go back and fight Zenos until she looked up and saw Dhalsim fast approaching.
"Eek!"
Not quite realizing what she was doing, Linkle caught Dhalsim, fell backward onto her back, and kicked Dhalsim even further behind her. Briefly forgetting he was supposed to be an ally until she watched him fly away, slapping her head as it came back to her.
Dhalsim couldn't quite see where he was going to land, but as soon as he did, he noted how it was oddly not as hard as he expected.
As he untangled himself, he soon heard muffled screaming, looking around and seeing nothing, he pondered where it was coming from for a few seconds before realizing it was coming from under him. Getting up, he saw that he had landed on a flattened Charmy Bee.
Peeling himself off the ground and gasping for air, Charmy looked around for a sign of what happened until he heard Dhalsim's voice.
"My apologies, child. But I cannot stay, I have to get rid of that armored man." Dhalsim explained before he ran to go help the others.
Growling, Charmy got up and glared at the old man, before putting up his stinger.
"Sorry, old man. But you've gone CRAZY if you think I'm gonna let you walk away after that!"
Charmy flew at Dhalsim, who seemed too fixated on his goal of stopping Zenos to hear Charmy or notice the stinger flying awfully close to his….
"YOW!"
Dhalsim flew backward holding his behind, getting up, he continued running around in circles trying to soothe the pain with pressure.
Charmy smirked at this as he flew forward and rammed Dhalsim out of the ring, the Yoga Master still holding onto his rear end as he fell into the portal.
Dhalsim landed in Sonic and the Secret Rings, Erazor Djinn offered to alleviate his pain if he could use it to help him dance for his entertainment.
"Woo-hoo! First elimination! Let's keep our streak going, yeah!" Charmy cheered, flying around in circles.
Seeing Metal Sonic and Falco fighting out of the corner of his eye, Charmy smirked before going over to help as he did before.
Seeing Dhalsim get eliminated sent a bit of worry to Bartz as he attempted to leap at Zenos again, they managed to get a few hits in, but Zenos would recover too quick for them to follow-up with more.
Seeing Zenos getting ready to catch him, Bartz shot himself further up, flipping himself over Zenos and quickly taking advantage.
"Blue Mage: Goblin Punch!"
A octet of blue crystals appearing around him, Bartz thrusted toward Zenos, preparing to launch a series of punches.
Swiftly, Zenos sprung out of the way,, revealing Samus to have been behind him, she flip kicked out of the way, leaving Bartz to strike nothing but air.
Linkle loaded her crossbows as she gave a look at Samus, who nodded and ran at Zenos.
Samus fired out her whip at Zenos, who shockingly grabbed it and pulled her towards him like he did Dhalsim, he then swung her at Bartz, who was preparing to attack.
Zenos grinned at the downed Samus and Bartz before reeling as arrows struck him from behind, courtesy of Linkle.
Having got his attention, Linkle smirked as her crossbows glowed red and she fired out two more arrows, unlike the others, these ones had bombs attached to them.
Zenos was about to cast another attack when Samus kneed him in the back of the head, which left him open to the bomb arrows hitting him, knocking him down for the first time.
As he struggled to get up, Bartz sensed the fight won, as he motioned for Samus to help him finish Zenos off.
"We got him! Come on!"
The two ran toward Zenos, who at this point was panting heavily as he still struggled to get to his feet, despite this, a smirk graced his face as the two approached.
Right as they were about to boot him from the ring, Zenos, summoning some last burst of energy, sprung to life and flourished his katana forward.
"Soul of the Swell!"
Wind blades erupted from The Swell,, striking Bartz and Samus and launching them, Zenos got up and dashed to where they were going to land.
"Concentrativity!"
Stabbing his katana into the canvas, another dark purple explosion was unleashed from the katana, sending the two even further away.
Linkle, upon seeing this, quickly got out her Pegasus Boots, seeing the chance to end this.
Seeing his opponents flying toward Jon Talbain and King Olly's fight. Zenos collapsed to one knee, his last bit of energy seemingly used up.
"That….was….a battle….I won't….soon forget."
As if on cue, a barrage of arrows struck him, he fell back a bit, and when he looked up he saw Linkle, determined, coming to him.
"Vein….Splitter."
Lifting up The Swell, Zenos struck the canvas as hard as he could, sending out a shockwave at Linkle, who easily leaped over it.
Zenos swung his katana at the girl as she came near, but she kicked it away before charging her boots with Lightning.
One roundhouse kick to the face, followed by another one had already been enough to daze Zenos, but Linkle didn't let up, catching him with a jumping kick followed by a few flying bird kicks, this string had taken them up into the air.
Not for long though, as Linkle somersaulted and spiked him back down to the ground, before finally finishing with a hard diving kick to the face.
Finishing, Linkle got out her crossbows back out and fired another bomb arrow, the resulting explosion sent Zenos skidding under the ropes and into the portal.
Zenos landed in Mace: The Dark Ages, even while barely conscious, the fighters of that node proved unable to even be a challenge.
Linkle breathed a sigh of relief as she plopped down on the ground, glad the fight was over, she didn't celebrate for long, as her mind immediately wandered back to Bartz and Samus.
Speaking of, Jon Talbain groaned as he ate a face full of dirt, a result of King Olly spitting it out at him.
Clearing it from his sight, Jon leaped at Olly and tried to slash right through him, but Olly turned and smacked Talbain with his tail.
As the werewolf got back to his feet, Olly stomped the canvas with one of his feet, causing an earthquake that shook the area around him and Talbain.
Not wanting to feel the effect, Talbain jumped up to avoid the earthquake, but as he opened his eyes, he was greeted with Samus crashing into him.
Following the bounty hunter was Bartz, who had crashed near Olly, the self-proclaimed king of origami looked down at him in annoyance.
Talbain and Samus got up, the former not pleased with being interrupted.
"Well, looks like Zenos decided to take you with him, despite who he is, an elimination is an elimination, so I'll happily oblige in sending you after him!"
Hearing this, Samus leaped over Talbain, and tried to throw him over her, but Talbain overpowered her and instead flipped her over him.
Samus then wrapped her leg around Talbain's arm and pulled him forward, using her other leg to catch him in the face before executing a takedown.
Talbain used both his legs to flip Samus onto her face, but she got back up and flip kicked at Talbain, who narrowly dodged and did a dropkick to her.
Anticipating a follow-up, Samus turned instantly and roundhouse kicked Talbain in the head before activating her jet boots to kick him further back.
Talbain hit the ground and growled in pain, clutching his chest from were he had been kicked. He looked up to see Samus aiming her Paralyzer at him, to which he kicked it away.
8Getting back up, he saw Samus running to get her Paralyzer, activating his Beast Cannon, he raced forward and struck Samus before she could grab her gun.
Sitting up, Samus kicked out at Talbain, who dodged before picking her up, to which Samus broke out of his grasp and flipped over him.
Grabbing her Paralyzer, she turned and fired her whip at Talbain, who narrowly dodged and used his Beast Cannon to hit her back again.
Grabbing Samus, Talbain did a few backflips before slamming her into the canvas. Seeing Samus struggle to get back up, Talbain crossed his arms.
"You're not bad without your Power Suit, but it's clear you're a bit too used to fighting with it. Try and remedy that."
Talbain then grabbed Samus and tossed her out of the arena.
Samus landed in Golf With Your Friends, specifically the Worms level, and right as the Holy Hand Grenade began rolling down the slope she landed on…..
Another elimination to add to his count, Talbain turned to Olly and Bartz.
The transformed Olly swung his tail at Bartz, who jumped onto it.
"Geomancer: Wind Slash!"
Bartz casted a giant orb of wind magic that immediately struck Olly, who retreated into his shell, multiple times.
Having not made a sound upon getting into his shell, Bartz could only scratch his head in confusion for awhile as he jumped off Olly.
"Whatever, easy elimination, Ranger!"
Switching to his bow and arrow, Bartz fired an arrow at Olly, who again, gave no indication of pain.
Talbain then approached Bartz, giving him a look that made it seem like he was unaware of something.
"What? Am I doing something wrong?"
He shook his head. "No, you're doing fine, go ahead, try again."
Reluctantly, Bartz got out his lance, and stepped forward.
"Dragoon!"
Bartz leaped up into the air before bringing his lance down into Olly's shell, slightly piercing it.
Olly then somehow jumped up high from inside his shell, and then just as quickly came down to the ground, during this, Bartz had been shaken off but landed back on his feet.
The force from Olly's landing triggered his attack Mega Earthquake, which caused the ground near Olly to shake even harder. Talbain anticipated this and used Beast Cannon in many different directions, avoiding the ground and waiting out the effects.
Olly peeked out from his shell and saw Bartz struggling to keep his balance, Olly took advantage and swung his tail at the hero, knocking him out of the ring.
Bartz landed the videogame version of Shrek 2, specifically the Spooky Forest level, smelling cheese in the air, he barely had time to pinpoint it's location before he was trampled by the Three Blind Mice.
Back in the ring, Olly laughed at his elimination, stopping once he heard Grey's voice come through the Announcer's Booth.
"Attention, fighters! I have an announcement to make! The number of fighters that will be eliminated this section has changed from twenty to nineteen! The reasoning? We have officially removed King Olly's Big Guy Status!"
Upon hearing this, Olly began twitching in anger, shaking a bit before erupting.
"WHAT?! YOU CANNOT DO THAT! IT'S UNHEARD OF TO REMOVE A FIGHTER'S STATUS MID-SECTION!"
Up in the Announcer's Booth, Grey smirked. "Well, first time for everything, right?"
Olly began glowing red. "YOU FOOL! IMBECILE! DO YOU NOT REMEMBER WHAT I PROMISED TO DO SHOULD YOU NOT GIVE ME THE CORRECT STATUS?! IF NOT, LET ME REPHRASE! IT WOULD EQUAL THE DESTRUCTION OF YOUR DOME AND EVERYONE IN IT!"
(Announcer's Booth)
Livia nervously tapped her fingers on the desk as she watched Olly rant. "You really sure you have this under control? He seems serious on his threats."
Grey waved off her concern. "Not to worry, If this goes according to plan, Olly won't be a problem."
Pulling out his phone, Grey dialed a number and put it to his ear.
"Gee, sometimes getting the characters you want kind be way more trouble than it's worth."
(The Arena)
At this point, most fighters had stopped fighting to watch Olly's rant, except for a select few who figured they could take the self-proclaimed King of Origami.
King Dedede had dodged a spinning kick from Fi and had just managed to net a hit in and knock her back with his hammer when he felt his phone vibrating in his robe pocket.
His eyes perked when he heard it, motioning for a time-out to Fi, who confusedly granted the request.
Sheepishly walking away from his fight, King Dedede answered the call. "Is it really time? Was kind of in the middle of something!"
"Yes, it's time, you can hear him can't you? Or else, I could always get someone else to make the final fighter announcement….."
Rolling his eyes, King Dedede shook his head. "No, no, I can do it, I just forgot that's all. One eliminated bratty king coming right up!"
With that, he hung up and quickly saw Olly floating up to the Announcer's Booth, still glowing red with anger.
Smirking, King Dedede puffed himself up and began slowly ascending to the enraged Olly.
Fi, watching Dedede, shook her head in confusion before looking out at the crowd.
"I must get back to the others soon, and I need to report to Silver of everything, time is of the essence."
Olly was now right up the window looking out from the Announcer's Booth to the ring, now glowing a dark purple instead of red.
"So, this is how this ends, having all your hard work wiped away like it was nothing? Ha! That is the only fate befitting a fool who doesn't give respect to those who deserve it! You shall watch helplessly as I topple your precious dome and tournament! It's over for you!"
Before Olly could move forward with whatever he had planned, Grey held up his hand.
"Really? Well, there's one thing I want to say first."
Olly paused. "Oh?"
"Yes, and that is, I hope you enjoy the innards of a king! Now, Dedede!"
Before Olly could question it, King Dedede had sucked him up, before letting himself plummet to the ground.
Still holding Olly in his stomach, King Dedede rushed over to the ropes and quickly spit out Olly, who took the form of a star as he helplessly fell into the portal.
King Olly landed in Origami Flight, where he was shot down by the paper airplane protagonist.

Livia blinked as she watched Olly get pelted in his elimination node.
"That was it?"
Grey sighed. "Well, I had other ideas involving different fighters eliminating Olly that were more fun, but WAY less of a guarantee to eliminate him, so I had to go for the safe option."
(The Arena)
Talbain scratched his head at what had unfolded, confused. He then saw King Dedede rejoining his fight against Fi. Shaking his head, the wolfman decided to just sit the rest of the section out and went off to rest.
"LEAVE ME ALONE!"
Screaming out his plea, Bowser Jr. tried to increase the speed of his Clown Car, only to see that he was already pushing the maximum amount of speed it could go.
"Never! You need to understand how I feel! Getting cut from Smash Bros. because it's for "good boys and girls" is a pathetic excuse to exclude me when you have BAYONETTA AND PYRA AND MYTHRA IN SMASH!"
"Well that's not my fault, lady! Take it up with Sakurai if you have issues with Double Standards!"
Mai's eyebrow twitched. "Don't you dare bring up that man's name to me! For that, you will die!"
Grabbing onto the side of the Clown Car's thrusters, Mai pulled herself up onto the top of the vehicle, right above Junior.
"Say goodnight!" Mai said, holding up her fan.
"Okay, enough being scared! If you want to ruin my break time? Then I'll show you what happens when you deprive the Prince of Koopa of his precious relaxation!"
Plopping himself up, Junior kicked out his feet, bringing Mai to one knee, he then jumped up and dropkicked Mai in the face, nearly knocking her overboard.
Regaining her balance, Mai shot out a fireball at the young Koopa, blasting him against his seat. Smirking, she held up her fan and looked to bring it down on Junior.
Right before it could make contact, Junior retreated into his shell, to which the fan struck it futilely.
Letting out a small laugh, Junior then spun in his shell toward Mai, since his shell had spikes on it, it ended up pricking Mai quite a bit.
Wincing at the holes poked in her skin, Mai watched as Junior came out of his shell and jumped forward, looking to tackle her out of his Clown Car.
Mai then grabbed Junior, but not before he pushed a button on his Clown Car's control panel, causing a countdown to appear on it's screen. Unfortunately, Mai did not notice this.
The red-clad ninja front-flipped to the back of the Clown Car, slamming Junior down against the thrusters. Because of the high speed they were going, Junior was barely able to grab onto the thrusters, leaving him hanging by a thread.
Mai laughed as she got ready to shoot another fireball at Junior. "Ha! You'll be the first of many Smash characters to feel my wrath!"
Ignoring Mai, Junior looked at the countdown, seeing it was down to just a few seconds, he smirked and looked up at Mai.
"Buh Bye, lady!" He taunted before letting go and retreating into his shell to soften his landing onto the canvas.
Back in the Clown Car, a confused Mai turned around to see the countdown was milliseconds away from zero, upon seeing it her eyes widened in shock.
Right as the countdown hit zero the Clown Car exploded, and since they were near the ropes, it sent Mai flying out of the ring and into the portal.
Mai landed in PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, seeing it as a Smash clone, she shrugged and immediately went to town on everyone.
Getting out of his shell and seeing the burning Clown Car and no sign of Mai, Bowser Jr. jumped for joy at his seventh elimination, officially making him the overall leader in eliminations.
Grabbing a remote control out of his shell, Junior pushed a button on it. To which the Clown Car seemingly repaired itself, and was good and ready to go once again.
Hopping in, Junior's immediate action was to kick his feet up, lean back, and close his eyes, getting back his relaxation time.
(Eliminated Seating)
"So, you want our help, Meloetta?" Asked Staraptor.
Meloetta nodded. "Yes, I apologize if this is not a good time, but it seems that Link and his group need help in stopping this plan of Bison's."
Sylveon walked forward. "I'm all for it, but why do you want to help Link and Zelda? Not saying it's bad, but it seems you have no reason to join in stopping this plot."
Meloetta realized a detail she forgot to tell them. "I meant to say, I observed Hypno attempting to hypnotize that child. I had to prevent that, he was intent on turning him into a mindless soldier." She said, pointing to Atreus.
Porygon-Z's eyes shot open. "Hypno has something to do with this? Well, that doesn't bode well for anyone."
Meloetta nodded and narrowed her eyes. "Indeed, and neither does letting a wicked man get his hands on an artifact that grants wishes."
The three Pokémon looked at each other, nodded, and turned back at Meloetta with looks of determination.
"You're right, people are at risk, and it wouldn't be right to sit around and do nothing. We're in."
Meloetta smiled. "Thank you. Now let's go!"
The four Pokémon turned to leave, and one person watched them off, thinking about whether to join them.
Atreus looked down. "Should I?..."
Taking a few more seconds to think, he made up his mind. Getting up, he walked toward the exit and quickly spotted the Pokémon, quickly bursting into a run to follow them.

Metal Sonic charged up a Water Shuriken in his metal hands, a move he had copied from Greninja, and fired it at a very much confused Falco.
Dodging the projectile, Falco still had a very confused look on his face.
"How the heck are you able to do that? You're a machine!"
If Metal Sonic could smirk, he would be. "That's something only I know, and I'm not telling."
Charmy then flew over to their fight and quickly began flying around Metal Sonic in an attempt to dizzy him.
Metal Sonic scoffed. "If you think I'm going to get disoriented from this, think again."
Activating the thrusters on his back, Metal Sonic barreled forward surrounded by an orange energy sphere.
Though the attack missed Charmy, it kept on course for Falco, who simply shook his head smugly before kicking out his reflector.
Upon hitting the small device, Metal Sonic was knocked out of his attack and sent barrelling back to where he started.
Letting out a robotic growl, Metal Sonic used his thrusters to steady himself, as he attempted to move forward,, he found himself unable to as he began sparking again, likely a result of the damage to his inner workings that Greninja had done in their fight the previous section.
Deciding to take advantage of his being immobile for the time being, Charmy turned to Falco and gave a thumbs up. "I got this one!"
The young Chaotix member flew at Metal Sonic with his tail, but as soon as he made contact, Metal Sonic disappeared, with a log appearing in his place.
Suddenly reappearing, Metal Sonic kicked Charmy and the face, disorienting him, the robotic clone of Sonic then struck his claws out, sending Charmy tumbling to the ground.
Before he could attack further, Metal Sonic growled in annoyance as Falco shot out a few lasers at him, which each shot stunned him in place for a few seconds.
Remembering what happened to Charmy when he tried taking advantage of a seemingly immobile Metal Sonic, Falco kicked his reflector out at the robotic clone.
Like he thought, Metal Sonic disappeared with a poke doll taking his place this time, Falco got into a defensive stance as he waited for him to reappear.
Appearing above Falco, Metal Sonic had hoped to catch him off-guard but the avian slid back to avoid the attack, and the robot ate a roundhouse kick for his troubles.
A recovered Charmy saw the exchange and quickly smirked at Falco while getting out his stinger again.
Falco saw Charmy and motioned for him to wait as the two noticed Metal Sonic starting up again.
"You really need to take advantage when you should, idiot." Taunted Metal Sonic as he charged up energy in his fist and motioned to hit the ground with said fist.
Acting fast, Falco dashed forward with Falco Phantasm, hitting Metal Sonic before he could execute his Hammer Punch, Falco then motioned at Charmy to strike now.
Growling, Metal Sonic turned to Falco, beginning to spark again. "You're really proving to be a nuisance, bird. No matter! Soon enough, I…"
He was interrupted by the sound of Charmy's stinger impaling him through the back, who then quickly pulled his stinger back out.
Sparking uncontrollably, he looked at Charmy, who had flew over to Falco's side.
"Do you have any idea what you've done?!"
Falco shrugged before seeing Metal Sonic disappear and his shadow moving towards him.
Shaking his head, he took a step back, letting Metal Sonic hit the air in front of him, he then jumped forward and kicked Metal Sonic in the face.
"Also, to answer your question, I don't know, and I don't think we will either."
Surrounding himself in flames, Falco thrust himself forward and hit Metal Sonic out of the ring to his elimination.
Metal Sonic landed in Tales of the Abyss, right before Jade Curtiss' Indignation attack….
"Woo-hoo! We did it, we beat him!" Cheered Charmy, flying in circles as a way of celebrating.
Falco chuckled. "Yeah, we did, although I think it's time we go our separate ways. Sorry, kid."
Charmy stopped flying at this, face falling a bit. "Oh, right, okay!"
With that, the young Chaotix flew off to go challenge someone else.
Falco looked around for a bit before seeing Blue Mary walking around without an opponent. Twirling his blaster, he ran over to go challenge her.
Jumping up and spinning his hammer, King Dedede looked to strike down a floating Fi. The sword spirit just barely moved past it as she delivered a kick to the Dreamland king's back.
Falling onto his face, King Dedede held up his hammer and spun it as Fi got close, catching her off-guard and hitting her back.
Shaking her head, Fi danced forward and dodged a swing of Dedede's hammer before changing into her sword form and swinging upwards, knocking Dedede into the air.
Changing back into her body form, Fi spun around the mid-air before creating an explosion of light that launched Dedede to the floor.
Picking himself up, King Dedede turned to an approaching Fi and activated his Inhale, sucking Fi up for a few seconds before spitting her out as a star.
Jumping up, Dedede brought his hammer down on the trapped Fi, launching her up and back down to the canvas.
Floating back up to avoid a hammer blow, Fi jumped into the air and dived headfirst at Dedede.
Despite connecting the attack, the hardness of the blow ending up dazing Fi more than Dedede.
"Ha! My head could survive a hard stone roof falling on it! It's gonna take something of that caliber to throw me off my game!"
Getting out a gordo, King Dedede knocked it at Fi with his hammer, who saw it coming before summoning a rainbow circle around her which caught the projectile, and after a few seconds, an explosion erupted from the center of the circle and launching the gordo back at Dedede.
Mouth agape at seeing the gordo launched back at him, Dedede sucked it up before spitting it back out at Fi, who twirled out of the way.
Summoning the Goddess Crest behind her, Fi glowed a golden color before dashing forward at Dedede, catching him in the dash and launching him back.
This didn't faze him much though, as he skidded back and smirked. Sucking up Fi again, he spit her out and began running after her.
Right as Fi emerged from the star, Dedede bowled over her, peeling herself off the ground, she turned around to face King Dedede.
And face first into a motor-powered hammer strike, the force of the blow blasting her over the ropes, she might've been able to fly back in, but figured she had spent enough time in the ring for now and let herself fall to re-join Silver and the others when she got back in the dome.
Fi landed in Journey, where much like No Man's Sky, she danced across the landscape.
Seeing Fi get eliminated, Rinoa put a hand to her face and began thinking as she dodged a Confuse Ray from Alolan Ninetails.
"What do you think, Angelo? Should we follow after her, or spread the work a little more?" She asked her dog, who barked at their current opponent in response.
"You're right, let's finish this, first, before we do anything else!"
Right as she said that, her and Angelo were blasted with a Blizzard from Alolan Ninetails.
Fighting hard against the attack, Rinoa aimed her Pinwheel at the Pokémon.
"Vega Blast!"
The projectile succeeded in striking Alolan Ninetails which also seemed to help stop the Blizzard attack.
Though neither Rinoa or Angelo were able to take advantage of this as they shivered once the attack stopped.
"Holy cats, that is cold!" Rinoa said as she rubbed her shoulders.
Recovering and seeing it had not been attacked, Alolan Ninetails summoned a few stars around it and hurled them at the duo.
Yelping, Rinoa tried to hit the stars away, but it proved futile as the stars hit her and Angelo and sent them back against the turnbuckle.
Groaning, Rinoa picked herself off the turnbuckle and went to check Angelo, who apart from a bit of damage was alright.
Alolan Ninetails then summoned a moon out of nowhere and began harnessing energy from it, after a few seconds the moon disappeared and it launched a ball of pink energy at the duo.
Seeing it hurling at them, Rinoa looked at Angelo, who nodded, as Rinoa smirked and stood up.
For the third time, Rinoa sprouted wings as her EX Skill, Angel Wing took effect.
"Firaga!"
Flying out of the way from the Moonblast attack, Rinoa launched a series of fireballs at the Ice Pokémon, who looked terrified at the incoming projectiles.
Alolan Ninetails tried to fight back against the fireballs by using Ice Beam, but they proved too strong for the attack and rendered it useless.
Alolan Ninetails cried out in pain as it was struck numerous times by the fireballs, as it finished, the Pokémon proved too weak to really move.
Taking pity on her opponent, Rinoa quickly approached the downed Pokémon and forced it out of the ring.
Alolan Ninetails landed in Frozen, it proved a very lovely pet for Elsa.
Still in her Angel Wing form, Rinoa looked around at the ring, noting that only a few more fighters had to be eliminated in order for the section to be over.
Finally swapping back to normal, Rinoa picked up Angelo and went off to go rest for a bit.
Cammy White screamed as Venom's tendril pierced her skin, kicking at the symbiote, causing him to free her, Cammy pried the tendril from her leg.
"Damn you!" Cammy said before wincing as she stepped on her bow bleeding leg.
Venom regained his composure as he laughed. "Aww, that hurt you, We've done FAR worse to others so far, you should be grateful it wasn't worse."
Gritting her teeth, Cammy ran at Venom despite her injury.
"Spiral Arrow!"
Doing a drill kick to Venom, hitting him several times, Cammy followed up with a hard jumping knee right to Venom's face.
"Cannon Spike!"
Cammy kicked Venom into the air, but this didn't last long in Cammy's favor, as Venom grabbed her in mid-air and flipped back a few times before slamming Cammy into the ground.
Letting out another cry of pain, Cammy swept her legs out from under Venom, knocking him to the ground.
As Cammy was about to get up and continue attacking Venom, the symbiote shot up and fired a bit of webbing at Cammy's face.
Grabbing the British agent, Venom lifted her up and brought her down onto her bad leg hard, to which Cammy fell to the ground clutching it.
Shaking his head, Venom shot webbing all over Cammy's body before leaping upward and swinging Cammy around before slamming her into the ground again.
In spite of this, Cammy got up, and kicked out her good leg at Venom, which didn't do much good, as Venom still stood strong.
Venom then curled up and sprouted spikes all over his body before rolling over Cammy, piercing her skin even more.
Venom shook his head as he watched Cammy futilely try to get up yet again.
"Now you see why we don't continue fighting those we've injured. We would keep going, but it's not fun anymore."
Picking up Cammy, who still tried to fight against the symbiote, Venom casually tossed her over the ropes, crossed his arms and yawned.
Cammy landed in Cannon Spike, where she was carried to safety by her younger self.
Back in the ring, Venom seemingly growled at the lack of competition.
"Is this the best that they can do? No one has posed a decent challenge besides that person and their blood weapon! This tournament shall be ours if no one can match us!"
Just then, a couple of magic projectiles hit his back, getting him to growl as he turned to see Rinoa, pointing out her Pinwheel at him.
"Want some competition? Maybe I could provide the challenge you need!" She said, as Angelo barked in agreement.
"You? A match for us? Hmph, I doubt it, but let's see you try."
(Dome; Hyrule Warriors Locker Room)
Ghirahim yawned as he summoned a group of five knives out at Silver with a snap of his finger.
The aptly named hedgehog caught the knives before turning them and sending them back.
Ghirahim teleported out of the way, before motioned for Kuja to hold back as he slammed his sword to the floor, an explosion of dark energy coming from it.
As the explosion dissipated, Blaze sent out a fireball at the unsuspecting Ghirahim, causing him to grit his teeth as he teleported to her and swung his sword.
This left Silver with Kuja, and the hedgehog was quick to try attack, trapping Kuja in his hold.
Kuja smirked. "Astral Onslaught!"
Using the power of the two orbs he held with him, Kuja broke free of his psychic restraints and trapped Silver in his own.
Kuja sent out a series of purple orbs at Silver, but much to his surprise, Silver used his Psychokinesis to repel the attack and the orbs that entrapped him, as well as sending Kuja back several feet.
Initially taken off-guard, Kuja's smugness quickly came back as Silver teleported closer to him.
"Psycho Smash!"
"Eruption!"
Kuja created a pair of fiery explosions right from under Silver's feet, causing him to hit the ceiling and the ground hard and rendering the stun he got from Silver's attack useless as he recovered before Silver.
"Let's try this again...Astral Onslaught!"
Kuja launched purple orbs at Silver again, but this time Silver was too dazed to use his power to repel the attack, he ended up taking a few hits before he teleported behind Kuja.
Growling, Silver charged at Kuja and gave him a kick to the torso, which actually sent him to the floor.
"Psychic Knife!"
Silver launched a blade-like projectile at Kuja, which knocked him back a bit as he slid across the floor.
Kuja had to admit it, this hedgehog was annoying him, no matter, he could still win, he just needed to up the ante a bit.
"Angelic Advance!"
Harnessing the magic from his orbs, Kuja surrounded himself in it before turning to Ghirahim, who had just been struck by a stream of fire from Blaze.
Kuja winked at the sword spirit of Demise, who just licked his lips in glee as he got back up and teleported closer to Blaze, swinging his sword.
Finally attacking, Kuja flung himself forward at Blaze, who obviously locked him in his hold before flinging him back at Ghirahim.
Ghirahim had just kicked Blaze back when he heard Kuja barrelling towards him. Smiling wickedly, he teleported out of the way.
Silver realized too late what Kuja had done when he crashed right into the still dazed Blaze, who was sent flying backward across the floor, unconscious.
Taking advantage of Silver's shock, Ghirahim held up his sword before using magic to add a saw-like beam from it, to which Ghirahim flung it at Silver.
The beam strung Silver multiple times and carried him back a few feet, allowing Ghirahim to throw a bunch of knives at him, finishing with another dark explosion courtesy of smashing his sword on the floor.
The attack sent Silver colliding with a wall, the hedgehog slumped down from it, also unconscious.
Kuja and Ghirahim looked at the duo, before sharing a laugh in victory.
"Well, that certainly was a nice way to stretch your legs after a distinct lack of battling." Said Ghirahim.
Turning to the door of the Locker Room, Ghirahim and Kuja looked at each other before pushing it open.
To their surprise, the room was empty.
Kuja voiced his surprise first. "This is unexpected, I didn't think for a second that the room would be empty."
Ghirahim nodded. "Me neither, well, looks like we'll have to look for them, or wait for someone to come back."
Without the two villains notice, a weakened Silver got up, teleported to Blaze and carried her away to safety.
(The Arena)
Whip and Richter both swung out their whips at each other at the same time, which quickly served to whack both of them in the face.
Both were sent recoiling from the interaction, Whip even more so due to Richter's whip being stronger than hers.
Richter brought out his boomerang, which was actually a cross, and threw it at Whip.
Whip kicked the boomerang back at Richter, and sent a shot from her whip turned gun after it.
As Richter recoiled from the shot, Whip latched her whip around his neck and pulled him toward her.
Not making it easy for Whip, Richter planted his feet to the ground and wrapped the whip around his arm, pulling a reversal and making Whip come to him.
Smirking, Whip turned her whip into a blade, which made Richter let go of it, he then brought out his own whip and wrapped it around the blade, pulling it away from Whip.
Richter then got out a bottle of Holy Water and threw it at Whip, who dodged it before getting out a Desert Eagle from her outfit and shot at him.
The shot grazed Richter's shoulder, which made him wince as Whip got her blade back and leaped at the vampire hunter.
Pulling out his axe to combat Whip's blade, the two were locked in a stalemate for a few seconds before Richter slid under the blade and pushed himself upwards, kicking Whip in the face.
This left her open to a bottle of Holy Water being thrown at her feet, to which she cried out in pain before stepping back.
Changing her whip back into it's base form, she struck forward and somehow created a ball of wind that launched Richter back when he made contact with it.
Running at the vampire hunter, Whip struck him multiple times before starting to knock him back and forth with her whip, finishing with one final kick to the torso.
Breathing heavily, Richter got back up and ran at Whip, spinning his own whip and striking her multiple times before throwing an axe at her.
Barely managing to dodge the axe, Whip picked it off the ground and hurled it back at Richter.
Richter caught the axe and after avoiding a smack from her whip, knocked her in the stomach with the axe's handle.
Clutching her stomach, Whip jumped over another bottle of Holy Water and whacked Richter in the face with her whip.
Landing, Whip grinned as she activated her Climax Desperation move, latching her whip onto a ceiling light, she kicked Richter into the air.
Swinging around, Whip unlatched her whip from the ceiling light as she wrapped it around Richter's neck.
However, before she could pull her whip and Richter with it down to the ground, Richter got out his Smash Ball and crushed it.
A coffin then appeared right next to Whip, to which in then sucked her in and trapped her inside.
Richter wrapped the coffin with his whip and pulled it toward him before then launching it above him.
"GRAND CROSS!"
Glowing in a multi-colored aura, Richter unleashed a flurry of energy at the coffin, which soon exploded and spat out Whip over the ropes with no hope of returning.
Whip landed in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, where she decided to teach Daring Do how to use her whip, to her credit, she picked up rather quickly.
Blue Mary did a spinning back-kick at Falco, but the avian pilot ducked and spun forward, catching Mary multiple times.
Stepping back, Mary leaped over Falco and grabbed him, suplexing him into the canvas multiple times.
Breaking free of Mary's grip, Falco kicked his leg out, catching Mary in the knee and leaving her open to a back kick to the chest.
Falco approached the prone Mary with caution, and turned out to be right to do that as Mary sprang to life and hook her legs around Falco's left arm.
Mary then rolled back, causing Falco to roll with her onto his chest, while Mary rolled back upward, still holding Falco's arm she began twisting it, causing Falco to yell out in pain.
Falco got out his blaster and fired a laser at Mary's head, stunning her and allowing him to break free of her grasp and give her a swift knee to the face.
Falling back, Mary groaned before getting back up and dodging some lasers from Falco, once close enough she jumped onto his shoulders.
"Mary's Typhoon!"
Clutching his head with her feet, Mary jumped up and began spinning her and Falco in mid-air before slamming him into the canvas.
Groggily getting up, Falco could barely make out the blurry image of Mary running at him before he remembered where he was and slid under her, firing a laser at her back.
Falco then used Falco Phantasm to try and give himself another opening, but Mary grabbed him out of the attack and threw him upward.
Jumping after him, Mary grabbed his legs and slammed him into the canvas before picking him back up by the legs and begun spinning.
"Mary's Dynamite Swing!"
Right before she could let go, Falco got up and grabbed her head, using it to help vault himself over her.
Using Falco Phantasm again, Falco dashed forward and this time hit Mary, briefly stunning her and allowing him to kick the back of her head.
Spinning around, Mary threw a few punches at Falco, but the pilot caught the attacks and countered with a few punches of his own.
Smiling to himself, Falco then stepped forward and kicked Mary upward, and all it took was one more hard kick to the chest in mid-air to knock her over the ropes and into the portal.
Blue Mary landed in Saints Row The Third, specifically the mission where she spent the next 10 minutes as a walking toilet, don't ask.
Jade spun her staff around her, narrowly missing Zidane, who jumped at her and gave her a swift kick to the face.
Stepping back, Jade flipped out of the way of another kick before crouching and swinging her staff at Zidane's legs, but Zidane jumped over said staff and delivered another kick.
"Rumble Rush!"
Zidane let out a flurry of attacks with his sword, to which Jade blocked nearly every single one, allowing her to get in a overhead strike with her staff.
As Zidane rubbed his head, Jade took the moment to plant her staff in the canvas and leaned against it. "Still think I'm wicked, monkey boy?"
Zidane recovered and twirling his Mage Mashers around with a slightly stern look on his face. "Oh, definitely. But now not in the way you think!"
Zidane ran at Jade, but the Edenian Ninja grabbed her staff and spun around on it, hitting Zidane in the chest and knocking him back.
Maneuvering herself to the top of her staff, Jade flipped her staff down hard to the canvas, hoping to catch Zidane with it, only to see him gone.
As she got up, Zidane kicked her in the back, as she turned around, Zidane ram forward.
"Stellar Circle 5!"
Zidane began spinning, Jade tried to attack, but Zidane was gaining speed and soon enough was spinning so fast he had created a tornado around himself.
The tornado picked Jade up and blasted her a few times before flinging her away, while in mid-air she got out a Razor-Rang and threw it at Zidane.
The Razor-Rang struck Zidane as the attack ended, leaving him open to a few strikes from her staff.
Recovering enough to see Jade jumping at him, Zidane flipped back and lashed out at Jade with his daggers.
Kicking his daggers away before he could strike again, Jade put her staff on her heels and spun around, managing to cut Zidane a few times with it.
Holding the area where he had been cut, Zidane decided he had had enough.
"Okay, that's it! Free Energy!"
Just as Jade stood upright, Zidane unleashed a wave of energy in front of him, Jade got caught in it and went sailing back.
"Rumble Rush!"
Zidane once again let out a series of attacks, although this time he had managed to land every single one, knocking Jade closer and closer to the ropes.
Jade saw the ropes and quickly held up her staff, to which Zidane knocked it away and jumped up onto her shoulders.
"Sorry, doll. Looks like I'm too good for you, perhaps?"
Zidane pushed himself off Jade before dashing forward, knocking into Jade and sending her tumbling over the ropes.
Jade landed in Breadwinners, the main characters tried to hit on her only to get the snot beat out of them.
Spinning his daggers around with a smirk, Zidane did a head count and saw that only one more fighter needed to be eliminated, he quickly turned his attention to one particular fight.
Medli ducked under a swipe from the katana of The Spirit, who let out a scream as she swiped again, missing once more.
"I don't think you're used to fighting anyone who can fight back to this extent."
Hissing at the Rito, Rin phased out of sight, Medli looked around for a few seconds before beginning to play her harp.
As soon as she began playing, beams of light rained down on the ground around her, The Spirit still not re-appearing, she got out her wings and ignited the ground in front of her.
A big blast of light erupted from the ground, leaving the symbol of Din plastered on it.
Confused, Medli looked around for The Spirit, unaware that her power worked in that she phased out of this plane of existence and into another one, meaning she couldn't technically be hit out of it.
This proved to be a bad mistake, as The Spirit phased back into the world, and called upon The Entity to bind Medli, who in her struggle to get out, dropped her harp.
Summoning her wings again, Medli tried to fly out of the Entities grasp, just as The Spirit summoned her katana again.
Just as she struck, Medli broke free and charge forward, knocking into The Spirit and actually managing to make her fall to the floor.
Growling, Rin got back up and swiped forward, missing Medli who did a back-flip, knocking Rin into the air.
Rin dodged an attack from Medli and used her severed arm to hit her out of her flight, sending her to the floor.
Landing on her feet, Rin playfully moved her fingers up and down before she phased out again.
Getting up, Medli looked around again, unable to properly see thanks to her crash.
Unfortunately, Rin made a grave mistake, letting out a scream as she reappeared and swung her katana, this alerted Medli to her and allowed the Rito to use her harp to reflect light and briefly blind her.
Medli then got an idea, quickly running at Rin, she grabbed both her severed arms as well as her leg. Running over to the ropes, she hurled them over into the portal. (The limbs landed in The Addams Family, where Thing became smitten with them.)
Looking at her one leg, Rin resiliently hopped toward Medli, who gave a laugh as she summoned her wings again.
"Yeah, no. Maybe you should stick to fighting those that can't properly fight back."
With that she flew Rin over the ropes and dropped her into the portal.
Rin landed with her severed limbs in The Addams Family, getting them back from Thing, she was welcomed into the family with open arms.
Back in the ring, Medli landed on the ground, taking a look around the ring, she saw that the number of survivors had been reached.
Rinoa and Angelo were fighting Venom from a distance, though the symbiote made attempts to close it, Zidane was entertaining the crowd by twirling his daggers, Linkle was checking to make sure her crossbows were working correctly, Falco was spinning his blaster, bored, Charmy was flying laps around the ring, Talbain was off to the side meditating, Bowser Jr. was still in his Clown Car relaxing, King Dedede was talking with Grey on his phone, and finally Richter was balancing an axe on his finger, waiting for the next section to start.
Hearing the crowds cheers, Medli turned to the Entrance Ramp, the next section set to begin…..
