Most of the eleven fighters were preoccupied with other things until they heard the cheering crowd, deciding to at the very least stop for the section's start, the survivors turned back to look at the Entrance Curtain as it pulled back and revealed the first fighter for Section Nine.
"REFLUX!" (RM)
The Knarren pit fighter leaped out onto the ramp, clutching the staff in his hand.
"No luck finding any Triforce pieces so far, oh well, we'll just have to look harder! But for now, time to re-claim my title!"
Jumping into the ring, Reflux looked around for an opponent, after a few seconds he decided the best way to prove his dominance was to fight and eliminate the fighter with the most eliminations, which meant he made his way to Bowser. Jr.
The Koopa Prince yawned as Reflux approached him, pointing at him with his staff.
"You! You have the most eliminations so far, eliminating you will be a surefire way to show everyone I mean business! So whether you're ready or not, we shall fight."
Bowser Jr. shrugged. "Eh, alright, I could use a stretch anyway, but first…."
Junior whistled and after a few seconds, his Clown Car came speeding toward him, stopping feet away from him.
"Alright, let's go!"
Reflux was about to question how the Clown Car was repaired after it had exploded two sections prior, but thought better of it and held up his staff.
"DR. DOOM!" (MN:ROTI)
Underneath his mask, Victor Von Doom had a bored expression on his face as he strode to the ring, ignoring his mixed reception.
Bison had approached him earlier about working with him and Seth to track down the Triforce pieces but the ruler of Latveria refused, citing Bison's past failures as his main reason for declining the offer.
"Doom is not feeling for a plot tonight, Doom prefers to simply bask in the thrill of battle!"
Hovering into the ring, Doom immediately knew who he wanted his next opponent to be.
Metaknight immediately noticed Doom hover over. "A challenge, you want?"
Doom nodded. "Indeed, Doom has heard of your name, an impressive swordsman they say, show Doom what impressed them so much!"
Metaknight slashed multiple times before getting into position. "Very well."
"MASTER ZIK!" (StH)
The creator of the Deadly Six, the wise old Master Zik looked out at the ring, scowling.
"Discipline. That's what these fighters could use, a bit of humbleness and a loss might teach a thing or two about respect." Master Zik said before leaping into the ring.
Zidane was doing a few practice swings of his sword when Master Zik landed in front of him.
"You are cocky, but without the skill to back it up! Nearly getting eliminated twice by lesser adversaries, but not me! You're luck shall meet it's end here!"
Zidane blinked for a second, before smirking and putting up his Mage-Mashers.
"Really? Heh, we'll see about that."
"WII FIT TRAINER!" (SSB)
Performing a few stretches to warm herself up, the white-skinned mascot of "Wii Fit" waved to the cheering crowd before doing a casual walk to the ring.
Entering, the Wii Fit Trainer knew quickly who she wanted to fight, she broke into a jog to her chosen opponent.
Roserade was still healing itself with Synthesis before it heard the Wii Fit Trainer running over, opening it's eyes to look at her.
"Now, you may be a Poison-Type Pokémon, but even the most poisonous of creatures needs to exercise once in a while! So, come on! Let's start with the basics!"
Roserade could only raise an eyebrow at this notion, unsure of what to say, even if it couldn't be understood.
"CECIL HARVEY!" (DFFNT)
The protagonist of "Final Fantasy IV", Cecil help up his sword, turning to offer a small smile to the crowd cheering around him as he rushed into the ring.
Medli saw Cecil approach as soon as he locked eyes on her as he entered, upon him walking up to him she smiled.
"Greetings! I suppose it is a fight you want?"
Cecil nodded. "You suppose right, I must say, you have a sense of nobility in you, not unwelcome for such a young age."
Medli's smile grew, pulling out her staff. "Thank you! Now, let us begin!"
"And now, Mystery…..Fighter…..Number…..EIGHTEEN!"
"JENNY!" (Bloody Roar)
Doing a small stretch of her arms, the blonde-haired woman winked at the males of the audience, making a few swoon.
"What an honor to be chosen to represent my node, after the Megamix Tournament, I thought none of us Bloody Roar folk would get a chance for work again, but I was wrong." Jenny said as she strutted down the ramp.
Stopping halfway through, she smirked as she engulfed herself in a white light.
Standing in Jenny's place was a brown bat-humanoid, flying into the ring, Jenny looked around for an opponent.
King Dedede was balancing a gordo on his head somehow without hurting himself before Jenny landed in front of him.
"Hello, Big Guy, how about we have some fun?"
Dedede scratched his head, but shrugged and held up his hammer.
"Fighting is fun, yes, so you're on! Hopefully you're not one to go for the face like my last opponent!"
"WALDSTEIN!" (UNI-B)
The huge old man with even huger gauntlets punched them together as he ran down to the ring.
"Hmph, my node doesn't know the meaning of "Win" mostly weak links have entered to represent us, that and our failure to obtain an elimination stops now!"
Running towards Luigi and Tifa, he jumped into the fight and swung his massive gauntlets, knocking both away.
"Face each other? Or face me? It makes no difference! I shall fight with you both as my opponents!"
Tifa got up, determined, Luigi on the other hand got up shaking, nervous at seeing such a huge enemy.
"Truce for now?" Tifa offered.
Between his shaking, Luigi turned to Tifa and nodded, steeling himself for this next fight.
"Good, now let's go! We got this!"
(Dome; Outside Recovery Room)
The doors immediately flung open by the staff, who quickly looked at the situation in confusion.
"What in all the worlds…." Luna said while looking at the downed fighters.
Deciding to make themselves scarce, Ghirahim & Kuja ran off by in the direction they came.
Getting up, Brigade groaned. "Benedetta, we can't wait, I know you wanted to try and jump ship now, but we can't afford it, we might risk making Van Roekel aware of our plans."
Wink sighed as she got to her feet. "You're right, we have to bring him Velvet."
"I'm afraid that is not an option."
The trio turned to look at Luna, realizing that they said all this in front of her.
The girl held up one finger as she helped Silver up, and then helped him help Blaze up.
"Is she alright?" Luna asked.
Silver shook his head. "She got knocked out, she'll live, but she needs a place to rest and recover."
Luna nodded. "Take her inside, she shall be healed in short order."
Silver nodded and took her inside.
Raine, who only been observing the situation and not saying anything, finally spoke.
"Shall we send them away from here, seems it's for the best." Raine said with a stern glare.
Luna shook her head, then doing a countdown with her fingers from 3.
When she reached past 1, Van Roekel spoke up from Brigade's communicator.
"Incompetent…..fall back! The device is off of Velvet, and she is unlikely to leave. We can't kill so much time on this one mission! Bison has need of you all, I've already contacted Hazmat, Solara, and Fault Zone. Now, go! Looks like Velvet will be a present for our victory instead!" Van Roekel ordered the three.
Raine eyed Luna who had a proud smile on her face. Rolling her eyes, she turned back to the Imperfects.
"Enough, we must go back to our jobs, thank you for the information, and please do not come back." Raine said in a sarcastic caring tone as she and Luna went back into the room, Raine closing the door behind them.
The three Imperfects looked at each other before turning around.
After they left, Juri lifted her head up, grin on her face.
"So Bison is doing the usual thing? Rounding up all the villains and expect them to not betray him in the end? Ha! Fat chance of that happening!"
Kano then came around, having caught up with her. "Juri, I took care of your little assassin friend back there."
Juri smirked. "Nice! I got the bug lady, and it looks like Bison has some associates." She said, pointing to the Imperfects.
Kano nodded. "What do ya want to do first? Go after them, or get some answers out of D'Vorah?"
Juri weighed her options for a bit before speaking up. "Think you can track those three now, and can find them again later?"
Grinning, Kano replied. "Easier done than said. Let's see what this smashed against the windshield bug has for us."
The two then walked off with D'Vorah in tow to a more private place for some interrogation.

"DIDDY KONG!" (SSB)
Adjusting his Nintendo cap, the small chimp and nephew of Donkey Kong eagerly looked out at the ring, as Diddy Kong Racing music played him down to it.
Doing a cartwheel upon entering, Diddy pulled out a banana as he ran over to the first person he saw.
Sanane seen him approach, to which she couldn't help but gush. "Aww, look at you, so cute! And I like your hat!"
Diddy Kong tipped his hat to her in thanks for the compliment, but that was not why he was here, he got out his peanut pop-guns and fired peanuts at Sanane's face.
Spinning her Naginata to deflect the peanuts, Sanane got a small smirk on her face.
"You may be cute, but this still a tournament! I can't let that stop me! So if it's a fight you want, you got one!"
"VANESSA!" (KOFXIV)
The red-headed agent pumped her fists together as she came out to moderate cheers, before entering the ring, she decided to bask it in.
"Ah, feels nice to be back in the thick of fighting, too long a hiatus can leave you itching for a fight, and looking at my schedule, I have a LOT of battles ahead of me, so let's start with this one!"
Running into the ring, she quickly saw that she only had a few options left for an opponent, weighing her options, she made her choice.
Mega Man was looking over himself, making sure nothing was faulty, didn't want to have a malfunction cost him the tournament after all.
When he was done, he looked up to see Vanessa standing over him.
"The famous Blue Bomber, we never had a chance to fight before, and I'd like to see just how vast your arsenal is."
Wincing at the little jab at how he got his elimination last section, Mega Man got over it and narrowed his eyes.
"Sure, I'll be happy to show you how legit I am."
Vanessa nodded and got ready. "Good, now let's see if I can puncture that armored body of yours."
"TESSE!" (WW7)
The crowd gave a surprisingly warm reception to the blonde robot maid whose hair covered her eyes who currently was floating to the ring.
"I must thank Tinyhammer, the Battle of the Luminaries has done wonders for our node's reception!"
Getting in, she soon saw she had only on possible opponent, steeling herself she floated over.
Espio looked her over as she approached.
"Not impressed, but I must say, something tells me that what I see isn't all that I'm going to get."
Tesse nodded in a determined fashion. "And you would be right, I'm more than ready to prove a sufficient opponent!"
"Hmm, very well, give you a few minutes, let's see how you do."
"IMPA!" (HW)
The Sheikah tribe leader and royal advisor of Princess Zelda looked puzzled as she stepped onto the ramp, concern for Zelda rushed through her mind.
"Zelda has not told me of her findings when she said she was looking into the Triforce's split, I must report to her after I am done here, I cannot take being kept in the dark."
Her mind made up to help Medli, she rushed in and clashed with Cecil's sword, continuing with a kick to the torso.
"Impa!" Medli greeted.
Impa put her hand down, motioning for her to keep quiet. "Have you heard anything about Zelda?"
Medli shook her head, before remembering Fi's odd behavior from before.
"No, but Fi was acting strange, said something about needing help regarding the Triforce."
This caught Impa's attention, but quickly lost it as she noticed Cecil get back up.
"Fi. Interesting, I must look into this, but for now I need you to focus on the fight we face now."
Medli nodded and the two ran at Cecil, picking their back up.
"And now, Mystery…..Fighter…..Number…..NINETEEN!"
"ALICE!" (Asura Blade: Sword of Dynasty)
The audience looked in confusion as a young purple-haired girl came out onto the entrance ramp, she was also wearing a small purple dress and a red hood around her back, she also held a book in her hand.
Sighing at the lack of an audience reception, Alice walked into the ring.
Tapping her foot, she saw that no one was available, no matter, she would just wait for the next person to enter.
"YOSHI!" (SSB)
Coming out to the Yoshi's Island theme, the green dinosaur merrily bounced around in excitement, lasting no time, he booked it to the ring.
Right as he entered, a skeleton appeared right in front of him with a sword, slashing at him and sending him sprawling back onto his rear.
Shaking his head, he got a better look at what exactly that was.
With an outstretched hand, Alice stood there with a smirk, she then opened her book and a skeleton in handcuffs came out, standing next to her.
Yoshi blinked, not quite getting it.
Alice then opened her book again, it now spitted a small black bomb that upon Yoshi touching it, sent a surge of electricity surging through him.
Alice smirked. "Hmm, maybe this won't be so hard."
"YUNA!" (DFFNT)
The audience couldn't help but lament the missed opportunity to have Yuna, Rinoa, and Tifa in the ring together, but they got over it and showed the leading lady of Final Fantasy X and protagonist of Final Fantasy X-2 the love she deserved.
Clutching her staff, the Magistral Rod, Yuna gave a polite wave to the crowd as she made her way down.
"What an honor to be chosen to fight alongside such as they say, icons, of gaming! I shall not let the host down and squander this grand opportunity!"
Stepping into the ring, Yuna ran over to help Tifa and Luigi.
"Passado!"

"Great to see you, Yuna. Ugh, we were almost complete!"
Yuna gave a small laugh. "Yes, it is a shame about Rinoa, but now is not the time to lament the past." She said, motioning toward a recovering Waldstein, who opened his arm and gauntlets out with a yell.
Luigi sighed, this really didn't feel worth it, fighting someone just to fight another person, but he just isn't the type of person to run off despite his personality.
(Moonlit River Park)
Charmy and the Hoodblaster searched for a way out, only to find none so they had to hide behind a booth.
The boy with the sack over his head looked around for them until he decided to run off.
Looking up to see if the coast was clear, Charmy breathed a sigh of relief as he sat down next to the Hoodblaster.
"We're here for 10 minutes with no way out! We're pinned down! We have to find a way to defend ourselves! Because we're not surviving 10 minutes huddled up like this!" Charmy exclaimed to his trapped partner.
The Hoodblaster nodded as he reached around in his pockets, and managing to find a pack of ammo that he thought was lost, to Charmy's surprise.
"Seriously?! We could use that to take down that kid! Where was that a minute ago!"
The Hoodblaster shrugged before he loaded his rifle and made sure he had some explosive plum juice in hand.
Just then, a bottle of plum juice came flying at them, however, they noticed too late and get sent soaring into the air.
The two landed hard on the ground, but managed to get back up only to see the boy standing there at them, sobs could be heard from under the sack he was wearing.
"Can you give me my sister back?!" He asked in-between sobs.
Charmy shook his head as he and the Hoodblaster got ready to fight.
"No! But we can give you something! Come on hood…thingy! Let's take this kid out!"

"GORO DAIMON!" (KOFXIV)
A staple of Team Japan, despite not having a dynamic personality, the shirtless Judo practitioner looked out at the ring and noted Alice using her book to summon a skeleton that knocked Yoshi away.
Shaking his head at such a small child being in the tournament, he ran off to go get rid of her.
Alice was about to set another trap bomb to prevent Yoshi from getting too close when she saw Goro walking to her.
Crossing her arms, she watched Goro walk up to her with a bored expression.
"Can I help you?"
Goro then took his turn to cross his arms, contorting his face into a stern expression.
"This is no place for children, not to mention your power comes from a book of all things, you must be eliminated immediately."
Alice gave Goro a puzzled look, before shifting it into a glare. "I'm sorry, but since when did you decide who could fight and who couldn't? The host invited me to compete."
Goro shook his head. "Which was a very unwise choice, think of people who will watch and see a little girl get beaten up, It is foolish to have you participate, for that I must remove you from the ring."
Alice scoffed. "Pfft, good luck. If you won't leave me alone of your own volition, I'll happily remove you from the ring myself!"
As the two began to fight, Yoshi could only look on confused, deciding to fight whoever was next, he turned to the Entrance Curtain.
"INFINITE!" (StH)
The masked jackal floated out of the entrance curtain to a mixed reception, not that he cared.
"Whiny, what they call me. Hmph, can someone perceived as "whiny" be able to obtain the immense power I wield? No! Of course not, I'll show everyone who the real whiner is."
Summoning a few red cubes around him, he floated into the ring and was immediately met with his only opponent for the time being, Yoshi.
"You have no idea what you are in for, you shall be the first to fall to my might, weakling."
Yoshi just stood there with a smile before letting out a cute noise and putting up his fists.
"Heh, you won't be making any noise for long."
"ABSOL!" (PKMN)
Waving a hair out of it's face, the Dark-Type dog Pokémon came out to a decently loud cheer, though it didn't mind too much.
Jumping into the ring, Absol elected to help Yoshi with Infinite rather than wait for an opponent.
Charging shadow energy in it's curved horn, Absol ran at Infinite and slashed at him with Shadow Claw.
Infinite groaned as he fell to the ground holding his back, this left him open to be bowled over by Yoshi rolling in an egg.
Seething as he got up, Infinite shot a death glare at Yoshi and Absol.
"You….dare try and cause harm to one with great power such as myself? For that, you shall know true pain!"
Absol rolled it's eyes, completely unaffected by the threat.
"KOLIN!" (SFV)
The blonde black-clad assistant of Gill came out a bit lost in her thoughts as she walked to the ring, ignoring the crowd.
"Gill said our draws are not far apart, I shall have no problem surviving until his arrival, no fighter below my skill will have a chance at eliminating me." Kolin said with a smirk.
Stepping into the ring and seeing that she had no opponent, Kolin let out a small chuckle as she turned to face the Entrance Curtain.
"And now, the final fighter of this section…"

Coming out to a huge cheer, the leader of Team Psycho Soldier and J-Pop sensation Athena did a few cheerful waves to the crowd.
After giving a few high-hives to some fans,, Athena used her powers to teleport into the ring.
Upon teleporting in, Kolin walked up to her.
"A bit of a showwoman are you? No matter, we shall see if you're power is not just for show."
Athena smiled before getting ready to fight. "I guess we shall! Let's get this show started!"
