Well, this story has been collecting some dust. I think it's time I dusted it off and continued it. Sorry I haven't been keeping up with this one, it's just... everything's been going on as of late, and I've been meaning to get back to this story for a VERY long time... but then the world went into chaos and all... but now, I'm back, and the ongoing story of Arnold and Rhonda's pigs continues with a bang! Let's see where we go from here! Anyway, enjoy!

It had been a couple of months since the news of Tonya's pregnancy reached the eyes and ears of both Arnold and Rhonda respectively, and they, along with their relatives and friends, were doing their best to make sure both Abner and Tonya were as comfortable as possible. Buckley called the best farmers to send over a sizable pigpen for Tonya to relax in with plenty of hay and a trough of food to occupy her. And of course, it also left some room for Abner whenever Arnold would bring him over. The two pigs played happily, though with how Tonya was, both pigs were pretty careful.

And during that time, Arnold and Rhonda kept a close eye on their pets, holding hands as they saw them cuddling up against each other. Rhonda put her head on the football headed boy's shoulders as she gave a warm smile. "You know Arnold, it's pretty sweet to see our pets get along pretty well."

"Tell me about it." Arnold said quietly, giving a warm smile. "You know, I never expected that my own pig and your own pet would be compatible."

"Well, they are. Guess we just got to live with that." Rhonda said as she put her hand on Arnold, gently rubbing it as Arnold noticed, a blush starting to form on his face. "Arnold?"

"Hm?" Arnold looked towards his girlfriend.

"When the litter comes, what do you think will happen?" Rhonda asked.

Arnold paused for a brief moment, thinking about the question. "Honestly, I'm not quite sure. I guess I never really thought ahead on that."

"Hm." Rhonda paused, looking a little sad. Arnold looked over at his girlfriend, raising an eyebrow. As to answer an unasked question, Rhonda replied, "Because I overheard mother and daddy talking. They're thinking of maybe moving Tonya and her litter to a nearby farm."

Arnold shook his head in shock. "What?"

"I know, I know, I didn't exactly approve of it either, but the more I think about it..." Rhonda looked down. "I DO see their point. I love Tonya, and having a pet pig is probably the greatest. If anything, it gives me some training for a real pet. It's just... well, let's face it, this is a fancy mansion we own. As much as I want to raise Tonya in a good environment, a mansion just... isn't a good place to raise a pig. I mean, yes, you and Abner have that special connection, and you treat him right, make him feel at home."

Arnold listened to Rhonda's words with intent as he gave a sigh. He hated to admit it, but it was true. The reason Abner had become a part of the family for so long and not as a wild pig in the jungle or at a local farm was because, from what his grandfather had told him about Abner, he had been with the family for many years. In a way, he did grow up with Abner. With Tonya and Rhonda, while there was a connection, even a person can tell that not even the finest accommodations wasn't enough to confine this pig. Sure, she was well-behaved, but ever since Abner came into her life, she started to show a little more of a... wild side.

Rhonda noted her boyfriend's thinking face as she gave a nod. "Exactly. You and Abner have that special connection. And don't get me wrong, I love Tonya, she's like, the most adorable pig in the world... but I've been thinking about this and..."

Rhonda gave a small sigh as she looked down. "A part of me doesn't want to let go of Tonya, but another part of me understands. How did life get so freaking complicated?"

After a moment of silence, Arnold looked over towards the two pigs as they were snuggled next to each other, sleeping happily. "I... it's hard to say. Sometimes, I think my life is simple, but then there are some tough choices that have to be made. It all depends on how you want to handle the scenario..."

Rhonda paused as she looked over at Arnold, then at the two pigs as she looked deep in thought.

A couple hours after Arnold had left with Abner in tow, Rhonda was still sitting, this time in the small pig pen next to Tonya, who was busy laying down. Giving a small smile, she patted the pig's head before feeding the pig an apple. As Tonya noisily chewed on the apple with ease, Rhonda paused as she gave a small sigh.

"Tonya, you sweet little pig, you." Rhonda whispered as she hummed a small song, mostly to soothe her, but more to soothe herself. She couldn't help but give a sad, but knowing sigh as she heard the pig grunting, falling asleep. Rhonda breathed through her nose, before getting up and stepping out of the pig pen. As she did so, she noted her mother peeking out.

"Rhonda, if we may have a moment of your time, we need to talk." Brooke said, looking a little nervous.

The black haired girl gave a small sigh. "Here we go..."

A few moments later, Rhonda and her parents were sitting in the kitchen, each having a glass of lemonade in their hand as Rhonda took a careful sip, bracing herself for the news. Buckley and Brooke nodded at each other before the former started to talk. "We've been thinking about Tonya and the piglets. I know you want to keep her around the place, but..."

"...but even a mansion wouldn't have a place for more pigs running around." Rhonda guessed, causing Brooke and Buckley to get surprised. "Oh, forgive me, I... might have overheard a conversation you two might have had."

Buckley and Brooke held their look of surprise for a brief moment, before Brooke recovered and gave a cough. "I know you love Tonya and don't get me wrong, it's nice that our baby girl's pet pig is about to become a mother, but... with everything expensive as it is, and even if we COULD afford it, there probably wouldn't be any way that we can keep track of all the extra pigs. I mean, one pig was okay around the house, but eventually, these piglets will grow up."

Rhonda gave a small sigh of disappointment as Buckley tried to console her. "You have to understand, Rhonda, it wasn't an easy decision to make."

"I figured. And I knew this was going to come sooner or later." Rhonda said with a heavy sigh. "What'll happen to Tonya and the piglets?"

"Don't worry." Buckley gave a chuckle. "I happen to know a friend who knows a friend who owns a fancy farm. Remember we took you there and there were all those ponies that you rode on?"

Rhonda's eyes lit up. "Oh yes, I remember! I got my horseback lessons there. I didn't know that farm RAISED pigs."

"Well, they do. We're going to be in talks with that farm for a little while to make arrangements for Tonya. Don't worry, we assure you, she and the piglets will be safe and well in their new home." Brooke smiled, patting the little girl on the shoulder. "And I promise, we'll make visits to her every day, if we can arrange it."

The young girl, hearing this news, felt a little relieved as she took a deep breath. "I understand. May I just ask one last request?"

Buckley and Brooke looked at each other as they gave a smirk to each other, before turning to their young girl, Brooke saying, "I have a feeling we might know what it is. Yes, Tonya can stay here until the piglets are born. We'll let them adjust, but we'll have to move them in a few days afterwards."

Rhonda gave a small sigh of relief as Buckley gave a smile. "Of course we wouldn't want her to leave without at least having her litter."

The rich girl got up as she first hugged her father, then her mother, as if silently thanking them as she gave a nod. "I'm going to speak to Arnold, let him know what's going on!"

Then, with an excited look on her face, Rhonda started to get up and run out of the room, presumably to a nearby phone. The two parents couldn't help but shake their heads as they laughed.

"You know, Arnold certainly has changed our daughter quite a bit." Brooke said. "She'd have just whined and complained about wanting Tonya to stay..."

"It just goes to show, even our little girl is growing up..." Buckley smiled as he clutched his wife's hand.

And with that, this chapter is done! How did you guys like it? Next time, we'll skip to a few months later to the big day! What'll happen? You'll have to wait and see! Anyway, read, review, criticize and suggest, everyone!
