Author's Notes: I am sorry that this took so long to wrap up but in my defense a ton of real life stuff had happened. I changed jobs, Moved cities, got into a really bad accident and that broke my neck (it's healed nicely and with very little permanent damage. I have some issues with my shoulder from time to time but considering what could have happened I am indeed lucky. Also neck braces are evil I would not wish them on anyone), and frankly I have been on a bit of a creative dry spell. I'm forcing myself out of it but it is hard. Just did a re-read of what I have written so far and I have no clue where I was going but that will not stop me from finishing this story. This will be the final chapter.

Anyways I own nothing.

Previously: The room shook as they heard Kimberly's voice loudly echo "and I am the Crane, graceful and agile." Which was shortly followed by the cry of a crane and the sound of the amber shattering.

Chapter 14: Our Precious Jewel has Returned

"No, it can't be! How did she connect to the Crane! Impossible!" the white ranger roared as she and the evil green ranger were slammed into the stone temple wall. The blinding pink light did not let up until both rangers disintegrated in a series of colorful explosions.

In the lab the others watched in awe as colorful cracks veined up the large chunk of amber giving the four ninjetti rangers very little notice to go for cover before the stone exploded releasing the two trapped monochromatic rangers.

"Tommy, Kimberly!" everyone shouted as the formerly trapped rangers unknowingly de-morphed and collapsed on the floor. Billy being the closest took their pulses.

"There is a pulse. I deduce that the influx of power overloaded their stamina reserves. They should be in optimal condition once they regain consciousness. When that happens, I can only make an educated hypothesis." Billy let out a relieved smile.

"What about Kimberly's morpher? Is it still corrupted?" Andros asked. The last thing they needed was an evil ranger to continue to run about.

Justin came over with some sort of scanner and took the arm that Kimberly had her morpher on to study it. "I am not reading any of the dark energy coming from the white dino gem that we were picking up earlier. I think we are in the clear." causing the room to erupt in cheers.

It wasn't until much later that day that Tommy woke up and saw that he was in his bedroom, lying on his bed with his arms wrapped around a petite brunette woman. He was at a loss on the events that brought him to his bedroom spooning Kimberly, but he was not alert enough to question it just yet. In all honesty he would most likely still be asleep if it wasn't for the vest that Kimberly was wearing stabbing into his side. It's a miracle that it hasn't woken her up yet. He could only guess that she's used to wearing the thing. He tried to slowly shift away from her just enough so he could better situate away from the vest but Kimberly just grabbed him tighter.

"Quit moving, more sleeping." Kimberly mumbled cuddling closer to her brother's science teacher.

"Kimberly?" Tommy whispered "Are you awake?"

"No, sleeping. Let me sleep. Tired…" She mumbled rather grumpily.

"Kim, Kimberly? Come on Beautiful, you need to wake up. We are somehow in my house. We need to see what is going on." he gave a feathery kiss to her forehead. "I know know you would rather rest but we really need to find out what's going on."

Kimberly just let out a guttural groan and rolled out of the bed. "Fine." she sighed annoyingly. "Well get up, this was your idea after all. I would have been happy to get another thirty minutes of sleep." She grumbled.

Tommy murmured that he had forgot how bossy she could be under his breath not thinking that Kimberly would have been able to hear it but quickly regretted it when Kimberly spun so fast and leveled a glare so fierce that he was sure that Lord Zedd would have been quaking in his metal speedos. Her glare had improved from what he remembered. He had to wonder how in the world is Conner still alive with the things that come out of his mouth. Knowing Conner's luck he was probably immune to it. Frigging Reds and their lack of obliviousness to danger. Tommy had conveniently glossed over the fact that he had been a Red twice.

"That's what I thought." Kimberly smirked. "Now since this is your home are you going to show me the way or would you prefer I give myself a tour?" she raised an eyebrow.

Tommy just shook his head and gestured for her to follow him down stairs. As he stepped off the last stair he was bombarded by a rather hyperactive dark haired toddler. "Unca TOMMY!" Little Tasha-Anne squealed with delight as she hugged his legs. "You otay! Mommy and Daddy said dat you were not feeling good so I hads to let you and Miss Kimbly sleep. But now you up you and me can play!"

"Tommy, do you want to introduce me to this sweet little lady" Kimberly smiled.

"Oh, yes." Tommy slapped his forehead. "Kim this is Tasha-Anne Trinity Park." He picked up Tasha-Anne so she could get a better view of Kimberly and vice versa. "Tash-Tash this here is your Auntie Kimberly, you remember your daddy talking about her?"

The toddler's eyes went wide when Tommy informed her who the pretty lady was. She didn't this that the Kimbly that her mommy and daddy were talking about was the Aunty Kimbly that Daddy and all her uncles had said was lost. "Auntie Kimbly, you no lost now? You found?" asked in awe.

Kimberly's heart melted at the child's words and said in a teary voice. "Yes, I've been found. Your Uncle Tommy found me." she smiled and put her right hand out for the little girl to shake. "It's very nice you meet you Tasha-Anne. Can I give you a hug?"

Tommy didn't think that Tasha-Anne's eyes could get any wider as he felt the toddler leap from his arms to Kimberly's. He was too busy admiring Kimberly hugging the tiny girl to notice that the entrance to the lab opened up and Ethan yelling for Conner to come up.

"KIM!" Conner yelled as he raced as fast as his enhanced could carry him knocking Tommy out of the way so he could give Kimberly the biggest hug that he has given her since she had returned from Japan. Completely oblivious to the postesting toddler in his sister's arms. "Kee-lee, I'm so sorry Mesogog would have never gone after you if it wasn't for me and… and I didn't tell you what was going on when Dr O told me your past and.., and I may have…" he didn't get to finish what he was saying as Kimberly placed her finger against his lips signaling for him to shut his mouth.

"Connor, when we get home I am gonna bake a large tray of chocolate chip cookies and we will sit down and talk but for now. Do not blame yourself. From what Tommy has told me on how you have been taking the lead of your team I am very proud of you." she lowered her voice "Now dry your eyes, we don't want to give Ethan something to tease you with do we?"

Conner gave a watery laugh and said no before rubbing the palms of his hands to his eyes. He turnt to Doctor O and asked so what are they going to do from here?

"Well Conner first, I think it's time for little girls to be in bed." His head pointed to the child that was still sandwiched between the siblings.

Causing both Kimberly and Conner to look down at Tasha-Anne and start apologizing to her profusely. Haley came to the rescue of the child by scooping her up and taking her to the guest bedroom. "Tom, Conner's Sister." Haley jokingly used the nickname she gave Kimberly when Conner first introduced her and forgot the important thing of telling Haley Kimberly's name. It had been an ongoing joke between the two older women since. "I think there are a bunch of rainbow clad people who are anxious to talk with you. Oh and Tom, be prepared for some serious ribbing." Haley smiled before disappearing behind the door with the toddler.

"You ready?" Tommy asked, turning his attention back to Kimberly. She gave him an affirmative nod and grasped Conner's hand before following her brother's science teacher down the secret stairs.

A chorus of Kim rang through the underground lab. The male rangers from the first two teams rushed to the petite brunette and pulled her into a bone splitting hug. They had missed Kimberly greatly and for the first time in a very long time their family had gotten their heart back. Aisha watched them for a minute before pulling Tommy and Kat into the group hug. The room seemed to brighten with a soft yellow glow and everyone there knew that Trini had been smiling down again. Their family was now whole and nothing would shatter it ever again.

-The End

Author's Notes: I debated making this story longer but I didn't feel like this story needed a rehash of the Rangers defeating Mesogog. In the end the core of this story was about returning Kimberly back to the rangers and I liked leaving the story here so if I chose to do a sequel (which I have no plans to do at this time) I can. Or even some one-shots.

I want to thank you guys for sticking with the story. I had not meant to abandon it as long as I did.
