Bella's POV

The following morning I woke up as I did every morning, cuddled up in the arms of my mate who on her turn was tracing random patterns on my naked stomach. "Good morning Isabella. Did you sleep okay?"

"Of course I did. I slept in your arms after all, and the fact that the bed somehow is even more comfortable possibly also helps. It's mostly you though, not to mention what it does to me when you call me Isabella. I used to hate my full name, but you can say it anytime you want." I said with a soft smile.

She smiled and pressed a kiss to my neck. "I'm glad you enjoy our room so much baby, but I'm afraid you'll have to be without my sparkling presence for most of the day. Your mothers have demanded some mother-daughter time right after you've had your breakfast."

I smiled and turned around to kiss her. "Then it is a good thing I'm not really hungry yet. Perhaps my mate would want to help me work up an appetite before we are parted for most of the day?"

She smiled and rolled on top of me. "I could be persuaded to do that, if it weren't for the fact that your mothers, and mine for that matter are waiting outside waiting for you to wake up. Both Esme and Didyme are very excited about today. I would almost say it is Alice when shopping level of excited."

"I'm not sure that such a good incentive to get out of bed babe, but I suppose I should not be a petulant child and humor my mother's antics for the day, but tonight, when we are back in this room, you are mine and I don't care who is waiting for us, we are not going to leave this room until that idiot gets here." I said huskily as I gave her breasts a loving squeeze.

Her eyes darkened almost instantly as she claimed my lips. "Deal, but then don't start something now that we can't finish."

I smiled at her. "Sorry baby, I just couldn't resist, not when they're just dangling there in my face. I owe it to women everywhere to play with such nice targets."

She grinned and kissed me softly. "Tonight, my Bella. Then I am all yours, but now you'll have to get dressed, because I have a feeling if we go any further two Queens and your mother will barge in and pull me off you."

"Fine, but I'm not going anywhere without getting another taste of your lips. Then I'll get up and get dressed." I said before pulling her into another passion filled kiss.

Kate moaned softly into my mouth and flipped us over so I get up easier. "That should tide us both over until tonight, don't you think love?"

I nodded and pecked her lips again before getting out of bed to get dressed, choosing my navy blue suit for today, for once choosing to wear a bra underneath it for proprieties sake.

"I have to say that I love this color on you as well baby, it's just the converse that ruin the look." Kate said mostly teasing.

"I know, but it's the only flat pair I brought with me. We can go shoe shopping with Alice when Edward and Carlisle have been tried." I said with a soft smile as I watched Kate get dressed, something I knew she did deliberately slow for me because she knew I enjoyed watching her get dressed.

"Have fun with your mothers today my love. I think that by the time you're back here tonight, you'll be showered with motherly love." Kate said with a soft smile.

I smiled at her. "I have no doubt about that love, and I think that if I'm not back tonight, you will probably have to pry me from the library by force."

She smiled at that. "I know that the library is humongous and that there will be plenty to explore for you. I'll know exactly where to find you."

I smiled and kissed her softly. "You have fun with your mother as well baby. It's probably been a while since you two talked."

"It has and we do have a few things to talk about, and I am sure she's going to interrogate me plenty about our relationship so far and what our plans are for the future." Kate said with a soft smile.

"Have we even talked about our future? Because I don't think we have and while I'm open to a lot of things, I do think we should discuss it with each other first." I said honestly.

She smiled at that. "I didn't mean it like that love. My mother won't ask questions on what we are planning to do, but more along the lines of whether or not we're going to live in Volterra at some point. We have that discussion every time I come to visit. Don't worry about it too much. Chances are that Didyme will ask you that question as well, and it's okay to say that you don't know yet. She'll understand."

I smiled and wrapped my arms around her. "I know, but I don't want to disappoint her either. I just don't know what I am supposed to say."

Kate smiled and kissed me as she placed a hand over my heart. "Listen to your heart Bella. When it comes to your mothers, it will never lead you astray, and besides, you won't be able to lie to them anyway. It is one of the aspects of the maternal bond. We can't lie to our mothers."

"Yes, I've noticed. Esme has that look that she gives me when she knows I'm omitting the truth. It's a bit annoying sometimes. Those looks are worse than any scolding." I said softly.

Kate laughed lightly at that. "You know they are still outside and can hear every word right?"

I nodded at her. "I actually forgot about that, as I usually do when you're so close to me, and I do think we shouldn't keep our mothers waiting anymore, otherwise they might just come in anyway to see what's keeping us."

Kate nodded and smiled at me. "I can't put it past them, they're all a bit protective like that." She said as she opened up the door, revealing the smiling faces of our mothers.

"With that lengthy goodbye out of the way, shall we go and explore the Castle, Bella? There is a lot of history here that we can't wait to show you. Esme told me that you are quite the history buff." Didyme said with a smile.

I blushed a little as I followed them through the ancient halls of the castle, while Kate flashed me a last smile before following Athenodora in the opposite direction.

Esme's POV

I had to admit that I had my doubts about being able to share my daughter with Didyme, but after the talk we had yesterday I realized that she only had Bella's best interest at heart, and I could see us both be the mothers that Bella deserved, and seemed more than willing to 'co-parent' as it were, and as we walked to the library, Both of us holding one of Bella's hands, I couldn't help but smile. "So sweetie, did you sleep okay last night?" I asked with a smile.

She nodded and smiled at me. "Yes Mom, I slept amazing, I usually do when I've got a lot to process, and coupled with Kate's presence, it was a wonderful night."

I smiled at her. "I'm glad you slept okay, I know you struggle with new surroundings sometimes."

She smiled at that. "Usually I do, but it all feels surprisingly normal falling asleep in a place I know I am the safest I am ever going to be."

Didyme smiled at that. "You are the safest human on the planet at the moment, darling, as is only right for a Princess of the Volturi. All we want for you is to be happy."

Bella smiled at her. "And I am mother, immensely so in fact. How couldn't I be with an eternal love and two mothers that do everything in their power to make me happy?"

We both smiled at her. "If you put it like that, I suppose there is little you have to be unhappy about, but I do wonder, how do you feel about this situation? It's rather rare in our world." Didyme asked with a soft smile.

"I'm coming to grips with it, and I'll be very honest and say that it will take some getting used to being loved by two such wonderful women when it was only Esme for so many months." Bella said with a slight blush.

"That's is understandable Isabella. One thing we'll have in a few months will be time, and I hope you'll be okay with frequent phone calls." Didyme said kindly.

Bella nodded at her. "Of course, I would love to get to know you as well as I know Esme, and I am sure in time we'll have just as close a relationship."

Didyme smiled at her as we arrived at the library, which we had agreed would be the best place to have a heart to heart with Bella, and the look of awe on her face as the doors opened and she saw the interior made us both smile.

We gently guided her inside and then stood back to let her explore for a bit, we could easily find her if we needed to after all. "I think that you have just become her favorite parent, Didyme." I said with a soft smile.

She smiled at me. "I doubt it, but I am glad there is someone who can enjoy it again. The only reason I usually come here these days is to have a bit of privacy."

"I can understand that, living as long as we have, things get a bit dull sometimes, although I have to say the moment Bella came into my life I knew I had found a purpose. She was so closed off when I met her, but in the last months she has blossomed into a confident young woman. I'm so proud of her." I said with a soft smile as Bella seemed to come out of her reverie and walked back to us, giving Didyme a big hug.

"This is beautiful. I can't help but think of all the knowledge and history that must be contained in all of these books." Bella said with a bright smile, one I hadn't seen on her for a while.

Didyme smiled at her. "There is over two thousand years of recorded history in this library Bella, and while I know you are very eager to learn about it all, I must ask you to leave the oldest records and books until you are turned. While you are still human the oils on your skin can ruin them forever."

"I understand mother, and I don't think I will be able to make a dent in this collection before I am turned. Like you said, one thing we'll have is time and Kate and I have been talking about visiting at least once a year, and I would love to explore this library with you when we do." She said with a soft smile.

We both smiled at her as we took a seat in one of the comfortable sofas scattered around the room, Bella being cocooned between us with a soft smile gracing her face. "I don't know why but this feels like everything is like it is how it should be." Bella said softly.

"That would be the maternal bond, my sweetling. It is the strongest bond in our world after the mating bond. It is also the most rare, and your bonds to both me and Esme are extremely strong, which I suspect has something to do with your gift." Didyme said as she combed through Bella's hair.

Bella smiled at us both. "Probably, but I don't want to question it too much. All that matters is how much I love you both and how right it feels to be cuddled up between the two of you. It feels like a warm cocoon of motherly love that I don't want to leave for at least a few hours."

"We have no problem with that Bella. You know you can always come to me, and now us with anything, even if it is just for a bit of a cuddle. Even young women need the arms of their mother around them from time to time, especially when they've suffered like you have." I said with a soft smile.

Bella smiled and nodded at that. "You especially have shown me what a mother should act like, and I am sure mother is already bursting to show me the exact same. I haven't given Renee a thought since I met Kate and I don't intend to ever spare her another thought ever again. I've found my mothers, my mate and my family and I intend to never let go of any of you."

"And we will never let go of you Bella. You'll be smothered in motherly love until the end of time." Didyme said softly.

She smiled and cuddled closer to us. "Can we just stay like this for a little longer?"

We both smiled and pressed a kiss to the top of her head. "Of course we can sweetie. We've got nowhere else to be and even if we did we would still be here with you." I said with a soft smile.

Bella only smiled at us as we spent most of the afternoon either talking or exploring the library, all the while we never let an inch of space come between the three of us.

Kate's POV

The time spent with my mother for most of the day was great, and as I had expected she had asked me a lot about Bella's likes and dislikes, as well as what our plans would be, and I had told her exactly what she wanted to hear, that we are going to be visiting at least once a year once Bella was turned and that we would try to make it longer visits too and she was quite pleased with that answer since I had the remainder of the afternoon in her lap.

I was now waiting for Bella to come back from the kitchens, and I was pretty sure she had been at least a bit spoiled from the day she had spent with her mothers, because there was no way Esme and Didyme wouldn't go all out now that they had the opportunity to spend true alone time with their daughter.

As the door opened and I looked up from the book I had only been half reading to begin with, I couldn't help but smile at the sight of my young mate. "Good evening love, did you have fun today?"

She smiled and nodded as she let herself fall to the bed. "I had the most amazing day ever. I never knew someone could be almost literally smothered by love."

I smiled and pulled her against me. "What happened love?" I asked softly.

"We were just relaxing and I almost fell off the couch from laughing too much, and as they both tried to catch me they got tangled in my legs and we tumbled off the couch anyway, Esme beneath me and Didyme on top of me, so that caused another outburst of laughter. It was the best time I've ever spent with any family member ever, barring present company of course." She said with a bright smile.

I smiled at that. "That's sweet of you baby, but it's okay to have fun with your mothers. Mine certainly asked me everything about you, and before you ask, don't worry I only told her what I deemed appropriate for her to hear."

She smiled and turned around to kiss me. "I wasn't going to ask love, because I've realized something. I thought that your relationship with your mother would be very different because you were turned in your twenties, but I've come to realize that it doesn't matter how old you are, it doesn't really matter to a vampire's maternal instincts."

"I see your mother has taught you about the strength of a maternal bond. I was wondering if she would do that already. I also knew that when she did you would understand why my mother hovers a little." I said with a loving smile.

"I do, and I'm sorry for questioning that so much. It's all just so new to me that I'm still coming to grips with everything that has happened." Bella said softly.

I smiled and kissed her softly. "It's okay baby. You can always come to me or your mothers if you have questions, no matter what it is about. We all know that it is a lot of information to take in, and no one will fault you for asking questions."

Bella smiled at that. "Right now I only have one question, the rest can wait until we've dealt with Edward and Carlisle. Are you still willing to honor the promise you made this morning?"

"I'm shocked you would ask me that love, I think I've proven that I always honor my promises." I said with a soft smile as I started playing with the buttons of her blouse.

"Easy there baby, we both know this night can only start one way, in the shower."

I grinned and scooped her up in my arms as I walked us to the bathroom. "Of course love, I know how much you hate contributing to the abuse of the environment."

Bella smiled and relaxed in my arms as she too started toying with the laces of my dress, which honestly was one of the reasons I had picked this dress for today. "That and I wouldn't pass up the opportunity to shower with my gorgeous girlfriend, and perhaps getting some preparations in at the same time."

"Oh there will be plenty of that, my love. I plan to make you scream at least once before we get to the main course." I said as I undressed us both.

She smiled and nodded. "That's fair, and you're right too, but can we not talk about this tonight? Tomorrow after we've dealt with Edward and Carlisle I'll lay bare all my fears."

I nodded and kissed her as I slowly set her back on her feet as we stepped under the spray, taking our time in getting each other clean and both of us making the other cum at least once.
