It was a quiet few weeks for the large family of vampires. The children of the Cullens were out at school everyday, Kate and Irina still teaching, Carmen, Eleazar, Carlisle and Esme having left for a trip to visit some of Eleazars friends. The house only held Tanya and Bella. Tanya being the one that had decided to stay and keep the newborn calm.

However that wasn't super necessary. Bella hadn't really spoken much since her phone call with her mother. Her face looking emotionless and not doing much day to day. It was a cold rainy day when Bella finally spoke for the first time.

She was sat in the living room watching the TV, some home improvement show, she didn't even know the name of it when Kate and Irina arrived home from school. Kate usually just went up to her room to grade some papers or work on her lesson plan, however that day she had been reminded of Bella at school and how much the students and teachers missed her.

Kate sat down beside the brunette and handed her an envelope with Bella written in cursive on the front.

"What is this?" The brunette asked looking up at her mate.

"This is a card from all the teachers at school saying that they miss you. Best part, it wasn't even me or Rina who had the idea. The teachers all got together and then handed this to me as I was leaving." Bella's face lit up with a small smile as she opened the envelope. Inside was a corny card with a little dog on the front.

She opened the card and a check for 2000 dollars tumbled out of it. Bella gasped when she picked up the cheque. "What…" She quickly looked at the card then covered her mouth, venom pooling up in her eyes that would never fall. "They all got together and raised 2000 dollars for my treatment… oh there's a little side note. This money can also be used for you and Miss Denali to tie the knot." Kate's eyes widened when she heard that, the pile of books tumbling out of her hands.

"Oh."

"Yeah."

"Well…"

"That was…"

"Unexpected." Kate finished Bella's sentence. The brunette just nodded in response before she burst out laughing causing the three blond sisters to jump slightly. Kate's eyebrow raised as she watched her favourite smile grace her favourite persons face for the first time in a while.

Bella settled down and leaned into Kate after placing the card on the table. Kate's arms automatically snaked around Bella's waist, pulling the other closer to her. "What was that little outburst love?" She asked muttering into the brown hair.

"I just realized how silly I've been for the last few weeks." Bella responded, her fingers tracing patterns on Kate's hands. The blonde didn't respond so Bella continued after sighing. "My mother decided that I wasn't worth being part of her life anymore as I'm gay. I thought that I was alone but the card reminded me of the truth."

"And that would be…?" Kate whispered after a few seconds of silence.

"That even though she doesn't want me, I'm still very much still cared for and wanted in this world. I thought that if my own mother didn't love me then no one else should but reading that the rest of the teachers want us to get married made me realize that no matter what I am loved."

Bella turned and looked at Kate, her hand cupping Kates face. "You are my entire world. I should not have cut you out. I don't want a world where you aren't part of my life. Your family, OUR family is everything I need." Kate just gave her a small little smile and kissed Bella's nose.

"I love you Bella." The blonde muttered after nuzzling her nose into the brunette's hair. The two stayed that way until Bella realized it was time for her to hunt.

The little family had a pretty good life for a while. Bella was able to go back to school eventually as the gym teacher, much to her students delight. Bella thrived best when she was working and had things to do to keep her busy. She wasn't very good at telling her mate about how she feels with her feelings but with some sessions with Eleazar she was slowly able to open up a little bit more.

It has been 2 years since Bella had been changed and her and her family were sat around the living room of the Denali house watching Kate, Emmett and Laurent scream at each other about a video game.

Bella was sat in between Esme and Kate, her favourite place to be, her head resting on Esme's shoulder, her hands wrapped together with Kates. She took a look around at her family and smiled, she saw Carmen, Eleazar, Carlisle, and Rosalie all playing a game of poker. Tanya, Irina, Alice and Jasper were talking about a book the four of them had just finished reading.

Esme noticed her daughters smile creep on to her face. "Whats that smile about? Hmm?" She asked as she pulled her fingers through brown curls.

"I was just thinking about how nice this is. To have our whole family together, nothing going wrong." Just as Bella said that Tanya's phone went off, her smile quickly faded into a frown.

"Why is Aro calling me?"
