A/N: This is a one shot that takes place in an AU where SasuSaku and NaruHina ended peacefully. Just in case you're confused. I wanted to develop this in Crimson Lotus but I want this to stand alone for now while I develop an alternate AU for it because Crimson Lotus was written in a time where I was more or less in a toxic mentality. So this one shot may feel out of place if I try to fit this in that universe. At any rate, on with the story. I hope you'll enjoy this one. This idea simply wants to be written. And well, here we are.

Sasuke smiled to himself as the small humble home came into view. It had been quite a while since he came home to the village and while there's still some fallout with regards to their divorces, their relationship had been going strong.

Naruto have changed for the better. Following his and Hinata's divorce, Naruto created a secretarial committee that split the Hokage's tasks among five people, two of which involved appointees from the civilian arm of their government. This in turn allowed him to spend more time with his children.

Sasuke on the other hand patched up his shaky friendship with Sakura and they ended up agreeing, along with Sarada that that Sasuke is better off living with the Uzumaki household. And so far, that arrangement have been smooth sailing.

Boruto for one is ecstatic to have his idol under the same roof and they'd often sneak off in the dead of night to do some training, his dobe deep asleep after Sasuke made sure to satisfy not just his blue-eyed beauty but the beast that resides deep within his lover's gut.

Of course Sasuke knows that Kurama would never admit it. But they too developed an uneasy friendship, which turned out to be a mind blowing experience for Sasuke. Who knew that the demon within his dobe could be perverted and gentle at the same time.

Sasuke shook his head before his mind wanders. He couldn't believe how he lucked out with two amazing lovers, really. Kurama and Naruto were like day and night. While Naruto is his sunshine, Kurama is the wide open sky that embraces both sun and the moon.

His smile widened at the thought. He definitely can't wait to see his new family now. That is, until a familiar laughter reached his ears, along with a voice that while familiar, still sends shivers to his spine every time he hears it.

"Cut it out, Mitsuki!" Obsidian eyes narrowed, cautious, at the strangled moan muffled only by the door before him.

"Ahh…I.. said…ahhh…" A loud heavy breathing and nothing more. His keen ears caught the soft rustling of clothes along with an audible slimy hissing that brings Sasuke back to the olden days of torture, darkness and solitary confinement at the hands of his serpentine teachers.

Eyes in wide alert, he swung the door wide open. And there in the middle of their living room was the culprit of the sounds. Boruto was half naked on the couch, with Mitsuki's limbs wrapped around his student. Boruto's face was flushed, his eyes unfocused and half lidded as a long slimy tongue run up and down his neck, up to his ears.

Snake like appendages wrapped themselves around his bare torso as the boy on top of him pleasured the bright haired ninja. Both were lost to the world, unaware of their surroundings as they immersed themselves wholly in each other's presence.

Multiple snakes from Mitsuki's right hand were about to slither downward to pry open Boruto's pants when Sasuke activated his rinnegan, releasing a killing intent that instantly froze both boys.

Boruto instantly turned to face him, cerulean eyes wide in shock, embarrassed at being caught by his teacher no less.

"Sasuke-san! I—I didn't think that you or touchan would be back so soon." Sasuke ignored his lover's son and glared at the pale boy around him.

"Release him, at once!"

Thankfully, Mitsuki listened for once, having read the hostility in the man's stance.

"Boruto… to your room! Now!" Sasuke turned to Orochimaru's spawn with such hatred that you'd think he'd summon the Amaterasu by now.

"What? What's your deal, Sasuke?" Boruto still hasn't learned to call him dad despite months of living with Naruto. Well, Boruto isn't exactly the perfect kid, but he always listened to Sasuke, even when he tends to rebel against his father most of the time. However, with the hostile look that his teacher kept sending his boyfriend, something within Boruto rose in challenge; he wanted to at least defend his boyfriend. Besides, Sasuke has no business running this household now that his stupid old man and he are now dating.

"Does Naruto know about this?"

"Well, duh." Boruto rolled his eyes, ignoring the hard eyes glaring at them. "We wouldn't be doing this in the living room if touchan doesn't."

Sasuke's stare hardened, his solitary hand balled into fist at Boruto's tone.

"Have you any idea who this kid is?"

Mitsuki flinched which didn't escape Boruto's notice. They know that, despite the fact that Mitsuki's heritage have been kept under wraps from most of the general public, a lot of Naruto's peers dislike Mitsuki. Even as gentle as his mom would scowl at the mention of Orochimaru and while Hinata hid it well under the façade of an accepting and gentle mom, Boruto could see the tinge of fear and caution that his mom used to eye the young pale boy whenever he visits.

Boruto pried himself free from Mitsuki now, and temper started rising from his chest. They have no right to judge Mitsuki like this, least of all Sasuke. Yes, he knew of Sasuke's past. Him and Sarada investigated that thoroughly enough to know the atrocities that this so called avenger had done and while Boruto have over time overlooked that past, it's now coming back as a bitter taste in his mouth as he realized Sasuke's hypocrisy.

"I do. And Touchan does. I love him. He loves me. End of story. Now are you done meddling in business that's not yours?" Boruto drawled lazily as Mitsuki handed him his jacket and draped it over his shoulders.

"I'm not done yet, Boruto. You!" Sasuke turned to Mitsuki. "Leave. Now!"

"No one's leaving! I'll tell you what we're going to do. We're going up my room and you to touchan's room. You will not interfere. You will not kick out my boyfriend. You got a problem with it? Take it up with the old man."

Sasuke stopped. Wait what?

Boruto smirked. "Yeah. Dad invited Mitsuki for dinner. And he also said and I quote, "Have fun you two, just don't wreck the house while I buy dinner." So technically, we had permission. Now if you'll excuse us. Mitsuki, let's go to my room."

Sasuke seethed. That damned dobe! Does he have any idea who this boy is? Honestly, Naruto is a forgiving naïve idiot, but this is taking it too far.

"Oh no you don't. You are not going with him, Mitsuki. Not on my watch."

"I believe he is. Right, touchan?"

Sasuke froze, and just in time, he felt strong arms wrap around him from behind before a wet sloppy kiss met his neck.

"I'm home. Is everything alright here? Teme… I didn't know you're coming home today." Naruto's voice was gentle against his ear and Sasuke strained back to see his loveable dobe pressed against his back, two overstuffed grocery bags now on the floor.

"No… As a matter of fact, it's not. You and I are going to talk Naruto." Sasuke pulled the confused blond to the kitchen. Boruto simply rolled his eyes and took this opportunity to drag Mitsuki up his room.

"So… what's up Sasuke?"

"How long have you known about them, Naruto?"

"That? Oh… since Sarada and Boruto ran off to get him from Rock village. You know… that time actually reminded me of the old days, yeah? We used to chase after you in the same manner with the Sound Four." Naruto chuckled, nostalgia clear on his face as a clone brought in the otherwise forgotten dinner from the other room.

"And you didn't stop it because?"

Naruto cocked his head to the side, adorably, diffusing Sasuke's anger a little as those endless blue threatened to suck him into their depths, even more so perhaps than any sharingan could.

"Eh? Why would I? Boruto's happy. Isn't he? And Mitsuki takes good care of him. Like you do for me, bastard." Naruto playfully jabbed Sasuke on his ribs with an elbow. But the Uchiha was not amused.

"But he's Orochimaru's clone, Naruto!"

Naruto's eyes hardened, realizing at once the implication behind Sasuke's words.

"You didn't threaten him did you?"

"He's more of a threat to us than I ever could be. He's the son of that bastard."

Naruto sighed, leaning his head on Sasuke's tense shoulder. He massage the other gently and pulled the Uchiha closer.

"You know… someone else used to be the enemy of the whole world. Even nearly killed his best friend, too." Sasuke stiffened in Naruto's arms. "But what did said best friend do? He begged the Raikage to spare what the world has deemed a killer. He never gave up on that bond. Granny… the council, heck even the Kages wanted him dead, you know. But he's here now."

Naruto shifted their position so they're now facing eye to eye. "I never gave up on you Sasuke. You know why?"

Sasuke swallowed… the intensity of Naruto's bright blue eyes nearly blinding him.

"Because I know deep down that everyone deserves a second chance. That underneath everyone's darkness… there's light…within the cold, there's warmth. Don't you think so too?" Naruto was close to his face now, so close in fact that he can feel the other's chafed yet velvety lips against his own as he spoke.

"Talk to him, Sasuke. Don't be so quick to judge him based on his parent's actions."

Sasuke sighed. He know that Naruto's right.

"Now go up there and apologize. I'll make dinner, now. I'm starving." Sasuke merely gave the other a kiss on his temple before making his way up the stairs.

When Sasuke entered Boruto's room, he found the two were playing a game, Mitsuki was lying on Boruto's lap.

"What do you want, Sasuke?" Boruto asked, his eyes, not leaving his screen. But Mitsuki has stood up, giving a respectful bow to the man who just insulted him earlier.

"Look, Mitsuki… I may have overreacted a little. I'm here to… apologize to you both." Boruto's head whipped from his portable game, surprised that Sasuke was apologizing. He knew the stories. And as his student, Boruto knows how harsh and cold Sasuke can be. But to see the man being this genuine right now disarmed the young Uzumaki.

Mitsuki just shook his head.

"Boruto is my sun." Mitsuki said with such conviction that it brought a shiver down Sasuke's spine.

"Baka! What are you saying all of the sudden?" Boruto yelled, embarrassed; but Mitsuki and Sasuke ignored him.

"You don't have anything to fear, Uchiha-san. I'll cherish him forever." Boruto was blushing by now at Mitsuki's bluntness. Sasuke too was taken aback.

Those were his exact same words as well.

Naruto is my sun, the light that pulled me from my darkness. A voice echoed from deep within Sasuke's mind.

He smiled. Maybe, he and Mitsuki weren't so different after all.

"I'll hold you to that. Now come on down you, two. Naruto's making dinner and I want you two to help. We're family after all."

Boruto's eyes shined, elated at his acknowledgment, and Sasuke for a moment saw the younger Naruto interspersed with his student.

"Yatta! Come Mitsuki. You got to try touchan's cooking."

As Boruto dragged Mitsuki downstairs, Sasuke followed soon after. The trio were greeted by a beaming Naruto. He was a wearing a pink apron that Boruto was screaming for him to take off. And as Naruto and Boruto bantered around with each other, Sasuke leaned to Mitsuki ever so slightly.

"You're right. Naruto's my sun, too. And Boruto, yours. Now come on, we need to reign in on these idiots before a food fight breaks out."

Mitsuki just smiled, a genuine one this time as he joined the Uzumaki household for the evening.

Indeed, much like how Sasuke is the moon to Naruto's sun, Mitsuki is the moon to Boruto's sun. At that thought, a red-eyed demon shuddered from deep his prison. He scoffed as the family's sound of laughter echoed through the dining room.

"Disgusting."

"Aww…. I heard that, Kura-chan. Don't worry. Sasuke and I will take care of you later tonight." Naruto laughed as Kurama just stomped his paw, tails swishing in annoyance.

"Stop that. It creeps me out." His tone indicated more of embarrassment than genuine anger.

"Aww.. Someone's shy. But it's cool isn't it?"

"What is?"

"How Sasuke and Mitsuki are similar? They are cold on the outside…yet… warm on the inside. You'd know that… because you've been inside Sasuke?" Naruto laughed as the fox stammered, embarrassed at Naruto's words; his host watching Boruto, Mitsuki and Sasuke fondly as he conversed with the fox internally.

"Sh-shut up and eat with your stupid family."

Naruto just laughed as he discreetly fed Sasuke, much like how Mitsuki was feeding Boruto on the other side of the table.

Yes

Two pairs of warm and cold, loud and subtle, icy and hot… as similar as looking through a mirror, indeed.

Two pairs of Sun and Moon

Like father.

Like son.

Life goes on in the Uzumaki household.

A/N: And that's that. I hope you enjoyed that one. :) I've been wanting to get that out of my system for a while. Feel free to tell me your thoughts.

Oh and Himawari's with Hinata at the Hyuuga compound. I always seem to forget her in my stories. Lol. Naturally, Sarada's with Sakura.
