Upon waking up. A foul stench entered his nose.
A wet spot was on his shirt. Naruto wondered if he sleep-walked last night. The more he woke up, the wet spots were on his arms as well. Raising an arm, he flicked some of the wetness off of his hand.
"Stop."
Naruto flinched. He was still laying down. He knew that voice.
It's been months since he's heard it.
"Sasuke?" He spoke tentatively.
Where was Hinata? They usually slept together.
"Behind you, idiot." Sasuke scoffed.
Naruto flipped his palms down to push himself up. He pushed back toward the headboard. The drips of wetness are still falling down his neck.
Sasuke sat against the dresser on the floor. Gazing hard on Naruto.
Naruto stares back. "Eh, Sasuke, can you get me a towel? I don't understand why I'm wet. Hinata must have spilled something on me." He chuckled. Aiming to ease the tension in Sasuke's gaze.
"No."
Naruto pouted, then rolled his eyes. "Whatever, bastard." He pivots his hip to the edge of the bed. Throwing the blanket off of him. "I'll just go shower." He stands up, feet shuffling across the wooden floor to the connecting bathroom.
"You smell Naruto." Called out Sasuke.
"No shit, asshole. Whatever is on me smells like piss." Naruto groans. Naruto loses his footing as he takes his shorts off. Next he grabs the bottom of his shirt to pull over his head and throws both into the hamper. Before hopping in the shower, he gazes at Sasuke one more time through the doorway. That man was just sitting comfortably on his floor. Legs crossed.
Naruto huffs before getting in.
Ten minutes later, he is all done. He grabs a towel off the rack, letting a trail of water as he walks to his dresser behind Sasuke.
"Move, Sasuke."
"To where? Your bed looks like a hazard zone." Naruto looks at his bed. A wet spot covers his side of the bed.
Naruto grabs a pair of sweatpants from the top drawer. He's grateful he had claimed the top drawer between Hinata and him. The bastard didn't need to be disturb. He throws the towel over the bed. Grabbing the waist of the sweats, he pulls it open as he steps a leg in each hole. He ties it up. He looks down on Sasuke.
The bastard's focus was on his hips. Sasuke has seen his cock since they were kids. So he doesn't think he was looking at that.
He does have bruises from his last mission he remembers.
He sits down to join Sasuke on the floor.
"Why are you here?"
Sasuke looks at him. His gaze was not looking very patient. "I peed on you."
Naruto blinked. Not sure, he heard his friend correctly. "Um, peed?" Naruto stammers.
"We're soulmates. My pee didn't burn you." Sasuke states. As if it was the weather.
Yes, there are tales of soulmates having matching markings, or seeing color for the first time, or first words tattooed on the skin. In this reality, it was the pee. If someone's pee burned you, it wasn't your soulmate. The only pee that doesn't hurt are soulmates' and biological offsprings.
"I thought you've peed on me before?" Ask Naruto.
"No."
"I've never peed on you?"
"As if I'd let you get close enough to try."
"But you come into my home and pee on me?!" Naruto yells. The situation caught up to his brain. Goodness, where was his wife?
Sasuke looks unfazed. "Yes. I wanted to know."
Why was this man his soulmate? Naruto thought.
"We could have done it at a training ground, Or the bathroom. Not in the bed where I sleep with my wife."
"She watched me do it." Sasuke says quickly. Looking bored of the conversation. He reaches his hand for Naruto's.
Hinata, what now? "I don't believe you." He snatches his hand close to himself.
Sasuke tightens his mouth. Looks displeased. Good, thinks Naruto.
"I snuck in to pee on you to test my theory and she woke at the end of the last droplet to leave my cock."
Naruto thinks about his two year marriage. Was it over? He brings both of his palms to his face, to drag it downward to his neck. He does a closed mouth scream.
"When she saw that you didn't wake up in agony, she got up and packed her bags. She didn't say anything. I sat on the floor as she packed up some of her things." Sasuke looks around the room.
"You can come over tomorrow and I'll officially introduce you as my soulmate to my family." Said Sasuke, looking back at Naruto. His smile resembles the cheshire cat.
"You're a homewrecker, Sasuke. My parents aren't going to be happy about this." Naruto says.
Sasuke stands up. Reaching his hand toward Naruto again.
Naruto takes it this time. He lets Sasuke pull him up. He feels Sasuke rub over his knuckles before bringing his hand to his mouth to let a soft kiss on each finger.
Naruto looks away. Upset at his own heart beating at the gesture. He's always been happy when his best friend gives him attention. He remembers even at his wedding, he kept wondering where Sasuke would disappear too.
He goes to pull his hand away, but Sasuke keeps his grip firm. "Let his homewrecker make you breakfast." Sasuke moves Naruto's hand from his face to swing them between the both of them.
"Sasuke you suck at breakfast."
He doesn't deny it. "Let me try. I gotta learn to feed my soulmate things other than ramen." He mocks with a smirk.
"Fuck you, you bastard."
He has a soulmate now.
A shitty one.
He lets Sasuke guide him out of the bedroom to the kitchen.
Shitty as he was, Naruto was letting him do it. He was going to break an oath he said to his wife for a best friend who snuck into his home with a crazy agenda that was proven true.
Naruto has always liked them crazy though, thinking back on his last crushes and exes before Hinata. Even his parent's thought Hinata was too vanilla for him.
Even though Sasuke has proven they were soulmates. Naruto felt himself plotting a revenge piss. Oh, Sasuke thought he was crazy? He hasn't seen how coo coo for cocoa puffs, Naruto could get.
Just wait, Uchiha.
