..."I may have... altered time..."

Jiraya blinks, very much caught off guard. Altered time? What type of bull crap is he hearing? "Altered time? You mean, you've changed the area of time?" Jiraya says disbelievingly.

"Well, sure, it may seem unbelievable but just- just hear me out!.. It's true, I'm not delusional, and I am not trying to mess with you, or am I an enemy. Hear me out on this." The man- dammit he still doesn't know his name- says in a rush before Jiraya does anything.

"Right, right, I'll hear you out, but that doesn't mean I'll believe you. You've already confused me." Jiraya sighs, regretting having left the beautiful women already. Curse sage, why does his fun always have to be ruined? "Just, tell me your name, I hate you seeming so mysterious."

"Ah.. uh, names Naruto Uzumaki .."

Naruto watches as Jiraya blinks once, twice, a third time. Yeah no, there's no way Jiraya believes him. Dammit Sasuke this was supposed to be easier! "If your Naruto then I must be the first Hokage. That's a no thanks for this conversation." Jiraya deadpans, clearly thinking there is a large amount of deficiency in his plan as an enemy, or brain cells.

"Just listen dammit-" Naruto could feel most of the nervousness gone now, and his posture went from curled to straight, though his height couldn't make much difference, as he's not taller or even as tall as Jiraya.

He's not going to be despondent now. He steels his eyes, and trying his best not to seem flippant he says; "I came from the future, Perverted Sage. I used a seal, activated it, and came to the fucking future. I'll give you any proof you want, just as long as you help me get into Konoha so I can fix some hell of the future." He frowns the whole while saying it, emphasising certain bits of the sentence. He wouldn't be like this, usually, but he needs to vent at least a very small percentage of frustration.

"Any proof?" Jiraya asks sceptically, raising an eyebrow. "Yes. Any proof- I just want to change the flipping future." Naruto grounds out before taking a deep breath. "What do you want as proof?"

"Kyuubi. You should know what I'm talking about. Show me it's chakra, along with the seal." Jiraya stares down at the shorter man, eyes narrowed. Of course he would want Kyuubi as proof- it's his most distinguishing trait he had when he was younger.

Naruto thins his lips and his hands slowly creeps to his stomach. He unbuckles his sash, slightly struggling. Time seemed to not move, and his fingers work agonisingly slow. He feels so awkward, as if he was about to do something completely different to what he had in mind, and he can't help but inwardly cringe.

He finally takes off the white sash, dropping it to the floor and lifting his shirt up to only expose his stomach. Jiraya- even though being a pervert- seems to only be only waiting to see the seal, his eyes now trained on Naruto's stomach.

'Okay Naruto- don't make this weird.' He thinks, and pushes the slightest amount of chakra to his stomach. He watches as Jiraya's jaw fall slightly open, then take the slightest step forwards, eyes still trained on the now visible seal.

Naruto forces himself to stay rooted to the ground instead of not taking a step back as Jiraya crouches down so his face is level with Naruto's stomach.

"It's different" is the first thing that comes from Jiraya's mouth.

"It's slightly different, but it still does its job the same." Naruto says back, voice neutral.

Jiraya looks at the intricate picture right in front of him. It may be just painted, made to appear with chakra, or actually a seal. But, how could someone ever redraw the eight-tiagram seal? Jiraya doubts that even the sharingan could copy it out.

"I don't feel any of the Kyuubi's chakra" Jiraya started, rising back from his knees and to his feet. 'Naruto' pulls his quipao shirt back down hastily, then reaches down to his sash and clasping that back on.

When that's all done, Naruto holds the palm of his hand out in front of himself, and Jiraya's eyes can only watch as a red orb of chakra is created. "That's the.. the rasengan." Jiraya breaths out.

It really is, in its glory. But, it's not the bright blue of people's usual chakra- no- this rasengan is blood red in colour. Jiraya has only seen the chakra colour in... bijuus.

The red orb disappears, and quicker than Jiraya can see, the red head's hand disappears and appears again, this time on Jiraya's chest. That's when Jiraya felt it.

The nine-tailed chakra surges through him, leaving him rock still. He knows its the beasts chakra, he's felt it before, but the chakra feels so much more different. It's not full of hate, loathing and evil, having other emotions swirling around in it too. The hate is on the edge of the chakra, but Jiraya's senses all but focus on the emotion right at the core. Desperation. The feeling of needing something so bad, though the need is kept in some sort of cage, restless and trying to escape in vain.

...the feeling vanishes as fast as it appears, and a Jiraya is left staring at red slitted pupils that used to be a bright blue.

He really is telling the truth.

"Ne, pervy sage, do you really think I'll be allowed into Konoha?" Naruto asks Jiraya who just sent off a message to his former sensei. "I'm sure it will work, I am trusted by the Sandaime." Jiraya responds.

Jiraya turns to Naruto and huffs. "Well, we should start heading to Konoha. We will be expected by the time we get there." Naruto nods, and they both head off.

Hiruzen rubs his temples, having just read a letter from Jiraya. His student is coming to Konoha, something that has not happened for so long, since his spy network keeps him away.

Jiraya didn't write many details, just that he would be arriving in less than a day, and he would prefer for Kakashi to be there. An odd request, but a doable one. Hiruzen just hopes Kakashi won't show his tardiness and show up late.

That's not the thing that is that made both his curiosity and age peak. He and Kakashi are supposed to expect a redhead. That's all that was written- nothing was explained any further. It drives Hiruzen to his grave when this happens, and he blames it all on the pervert.

With a quick command to an anbu, Kakashi was fetched and arrived in less then Five minutes. The Anbu really do push him to not go hours late when needed to talk to the Hokage, and by the looks of it, Hiruzen would say it's working.

"Kakashi."

"Lord Hokage" they exchange simple greetings.

"Jiraya is heading to Konoha, and he has told that he is to be expected in less than a day." Hiruzen says, lifting his pipe to his lips.

"Jiraya is coming to Konoha? Why exactly?" Kakashi knows that it's not to see Naruto, his god son, or to simply see Konoha. Jiraya wouldn't abandon his spy network to go to Konoha just like that. It honestly makes him twitch, though he can't say much himself- having kept himself from talking to Naruto at all.

Sarutobi puffed on his pipe, smoke drifting out his parted lips. "His letter is very vague, only that he's coming to Konoha, wants you present when he arrives and that a 'red- head' will also be with him."

Kakashi can't help but lift the eyebrow behind his forehead protector. Jiraya wants him to be present? And what's this about a new- or maybe not even new- redhead. "Do you think that he's bringing someone new to the village?" He questions, though he doubts it- Jiraya would not be the person to do that, well, not anymore.

Oh, how he was so wrong in doubting.

Hiruzen, Kakashi, a few Anbu, Jiraya and a foreigner were all present in the room. The split second of silence was deafening.

Kakashi stood in front of Hiruzen and to the side, the Anbu hid in dark corners, and two shinobi stood opposite Kakashi and Hiruzen. Jiraya the great toad sage stood in all his glory, arms crossed and a large figure. The same couldn't be for the shinobi next to him.

Jiraya was really right when he referred to the man as a redhead. His striking red hair was plaited, reaching the mans lower shins, brushing his ankles. Dark clothes- consisting of mostly black and few splashes of dark orange- excluding the wide white sash that wrapped around his whole waist- clad his slender yet strong build. The sleeves were short, revealing his tattooed arms. His cheeks had three whisker mark like lines across- identical to naruto's- and an Uzushio headband strapped comfortably around his forehead.

The man stood clearly anxious- hands being wrung behind his back, body closed in and there was a constant biting at the bottom of his lip with surprisingly sharp teeth, though it didn't break the skin. He looked significantly smaller beside Jiraya.

Uzushiogakure. Uzushio- Kakashi's lips thin and his eyes narrow as he stared blatantly at the new comer. The further tensing of the man shows how he immediately noticed, even without casting his eyes in Kakashi's direction, content on staring at the floor.

"Jiraya, your letter says no specifics, so I'm guessing you will explain yourself now?" Hiruzen says, his gaze fixing on Jiraya after glancing at the smaller man one more time.

Jiraya glances at his side to the man next to him and sighs. "Kozima Uzumaki, taken hostage at 16 years old, Nephew of Kushina Uzumaki."

"You want your story to be what now?" Jiraya blinks at Naruto who is currently scratching the back of his head. It doesn't help that both Minato and Kushina had the same tic.

"You don't want to know what happened to make me travel back, but I need a backstory that will at least explain some of my actions." Naruto talked quietly, quite the opposite of what he's been told Naruto is like. 'Boisterous' and 'loud' were of the many few adjectives that he received from letters. He half expects Naruto to start shouting loudly like his mother.

Jiraya's certain that Naruto has gone through some sort of terrible trauma- it's quite easy to tell anyways, but when you compare him to his younger self, it's unrealistic. Even though Jiraya has never seen his godson in person. Something he is guilty of. Naruto seems to be in a shell with no cracks. Well, Jiraya hopes that will change sooner or later.

"Being locked up for so long will be suspicious when you have shinobi skills." Okay- Jiraya is taking a very educated guess that Naruto at least has some good ninja skills.

"I don't have to be just sitting there doing nothing for five years, training is something that I would be able to get away with. Plus, there's no way I'm showing any thing over the top, such as my Rasengan." Naruto tugs on a bang framing his face, frowning.

Jiraya splutters for a second even though he's already seen it and stares down at Naruto. "Rasengan?" That means.. he must have taught Naruto, as he's the only one who knows how to preform it anymore.

Naruto let's out a slow breath of air and, ignoring Jiraya's outburst he carries on. "I still want ties to my mother, I want to be able to teach my younger self and my younger friends, I want to be able to get rid of the corruption in the Konoha council, I want to stop a certain person from leaving..." the rest turned into quiet mumbling of what Jiraya can't make out. He sighs. Great.

Uzumaki- Uzushio - why in the hell is Kakashi here.

Was the reason why he was requested here because of his ties to Kushina? Kushina's nephew, Naruto's cousin, is right in front of him, tugging on a lock of hair framing his face.

"Uzumaki? Kushina's nephew? I never knew Kushina had any siblings." Hiruzen, clearly surprised, says. "Kushina never talked about any family outside of Konoha, she thought they all died. Though, she had an older sister who left Uzushio long before it's downfall." Jiraya says back, his voice holding no hesitation.

"Jiraya, what is it that you want exactly?" Hiruzen asks in a neutral tone, though curiosity clearly peaked through.

"Uzumaki's had a great relationship with Konoha, and..." Jiraya started.

Wait. He thinks, blinking. Is he going to say what I think-

"Uzushio is destroyed, Konoha is still standing. Theres nowhere else for Kozima to go apart from here. Kushina came here after the destruction of Uzoshio." Jiraya finally says

There it is. Kakashi's gaze flickers to Kozima- he's no longer staring at the ground- he's frowning and staring up at Jiraya. Ne, pervy sage I'm not searching for a shelter. Sure, I want to stay, but there's a reason." Kozima piped up rather quietly.

The twitch in Jiraya's eye from being called pervy sage (Kakashi think the nickname is rather fitting) was very obvious. "And that reason would be?" Hiruzen smiles at Kozima slightly, clearly being welcoming.

"Naruto"
